Item 3D School: Desenvolvendo estratégias Maker para estudantes do ensino técnico integrado do curso eletrotécnica Campus Pesqueira – IFPE(2025-04-09) Alcantara, Eurlles Canuto de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9782-8458; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Moraes Junior, Edison Camilo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8234380347792761; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This dissertation investigates the introduction of Maker Culture in the context of integrated technical education in electrotechnics, aiming to transdisciplinarily integrate curricular content and explore the potential of emerging technologies such as 3D printing. The research stems from the observed need to connect the theoretical knowledge studied by students with practical and contemporary applications as a way to increase engagement and promote more meaningful learning. The study is justified by the researcher’s experience at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), Pesqueira campus, where a possible gap was identified in students’ direct contact with emerging technologies like 3D printing, despite the relevance of these tools to the field of electrotechnics. Additionally, the research addresses the issue of knowledge fragmentation, exploring the concepts of multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and primarily transdisciplinarity, advocating the latter as an approach capable of integrating different fields of knowledge in the learning process. The central problem of this dissertation lies in how to incorporate Maker Culture transdisciplinarily into the integrated technical electrotechnics course at IFPE, Pesqueira campus. The general objective is to identify ways to implement Maker Culture from this perspective, using emerging technologies. The specific objectives include allowing students to explore creativity and develop soft skills through teamwork, creating 3D-printed objects to assemble a scaled-down micro wind turbine, and finally, developing a didactic sequence that systematizes the process. It is believed that the Maker Culture approach, by stimulating experimentation and the practical application of knowledge, can promote meaningful learning, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, and preparing students for the technological challenges of the 21st century. The dissertation also highlights the importance of meaningful learning, based on Ausubel’s theory, as a key element in transforming the educational process. In summary, this research seeks to contribute to the modernization of technical education by proposing an innovative pedagogical approach that values creativity, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge through the integration of Maker Culture and transdisciplinarity into the electrotechnics course at IFPE Pesqueira. The development of the didactic sequence aims to materialize this proposal, serving as a resource for future implementations and studies in the field.Item A educação escolar e a formação de dirigentes: espaços de formação política das lideranças estudantis do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-01) Oliveira, Hellen Carolyne Barbosa de; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Hollerbach, Dra. Joana D’Arc Germano; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5888935341011338The process of political education in the school context is hampered by ideological disputes and conflicting conceptions. Based on the understanding that the ethical-political dimension is an inseparable part of an emancipatory human education, which guarantees students their insertion in social life through full access to cultural assets produced throughout the history of humanity, this research addresses the formation of student leaders and the organization of spaces for political education in Professional and Technological Education, taking as a focus the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Its objective is to analyze the process of organizing a pedagogical space in Integrated High School aimed at political education through the organization of student events. The methodological premise of the research is the qualitative-quantitative approach, of the participatory, exploratory and applied research type developed in four stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic review was carried out on themes that permeated the construction of the research, such as political education in the school space and the development of student leaders. The second stage consisted of conducting a diagnosis, which occurred through active observation of the campus under study and the application of a questionnaire to the research participants, students who participate in student representation spaces. In the third stage, a prototype of the educational product was developed, which consists of an instructional guide for students on organizing events. The last stage corresponded to the application and evaluation of the developed educational product. To analyze the data obtained from the application and evaluation of the educational product, content analysis and descriptive statistics were used. The result was the design of a didactic/instructional guide on organizing events for students, as a proposal for structuring a formal space in Integrated High School that contributes to the work of political formation and development of student leadership. The research evidenced the lack of material on organizing events adapted for students, despite it being a recurring activity in the times and school spaces of Professional and Technological Education, which relies on the active participation and direction of student leaders. It was observed that the lack of systematized knowledger students about the event activity limited the experimentation of these spaces through intuitive learning or from previous experiences with other organizers. Ingeneral, based on the participants' evaluation of the material created, there was a prevalence of high acceptance in relation to its contribution to the proposed purpose.Item A utilização de softwares, sites e suportes de aprendizagem matemático: desbravando os segredos da matemática(2024-07-15) Silva, Josivaldo da; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Barbosa, Isnaldo Isaac; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8346517003296057; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345The investigation of students' difficulties in mathematics in everyday school life and in learning processes, through social contexts that constitute the school, the community and society. From there, it proposes the construction of an Educational Product entitled: Mathematical Learning Support Program: A didactic approach in Integrated High School, with the intention of supporting the treatment of the issue within the scope of Teaching in the Integrated Technical Computer Course. The research was developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal). The present study is justified by bringing a theme that can contribute to the learning of Integrated High School students, the development and knowledge of digital platforms, involving websites and software in learning from this perspective. Its objective is to resolve existing difficulties faced by students. To do this, we analyzed how issues related to the subject of mathematics appear in the teaching-learning process and in everyday school life from the perspective of Karl Marx's historical materialism (1993). The present research is of the action research type, with a collaborative bias and of a qualitative-quantitative nature based on the principles of participatory research (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011). The locus of the research was the Rio Largo Campus, and the research participants were 3 groups of volunteers (students): (1) students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the Integrated Technical IT Course at the Rio Largo Campus, in this case we had the class A, B and C with A: 35 participants, class B: with 30 participants and C with 26 participants, the three groups of students totaled 91 participants; (2) the teachers who teach mathematics in this Integrated Technical Course in IT totaled 3 teachers. The aim is, with the results of the research, to contribute to an omnilateral training (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2012; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) which, considering the social contexts of origin of the students, and the role of mathematics, in the process of learning, which integrates the dimensions of work, science and culture, managing to reach as many people as possible and thus contributing to this updated training in professional and technological education.Item Book Trailer: uma ferramenta de aprendizagem significativa para desenvolver a competência leitora por meio da multimodalidade e da tradução intersemiótica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-04-25) Santos, Verônica Ribeiro dos; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This study aimed to investigate the pedagogical potential of the book trailer—a short video inspired by the logic of movie trailers—as a didactic tool for developing reading competence in the context of professional and technological education. The research was conducted with students from a technical course integrated into high school at the Federal Institute of Bahia, through the application of a didactic sequence composed of six workshops. Grounded in theories of multimodal reading, multiliteracies, intersemiotic translation, intermediality, active methodologies, and meaningful learning, the study analysed how literary mediation through digital information and communication technologies can promote more meaningful, critical, and contextualized reading practices. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using coding and thematic analysis, from which three main themes emerged: (1) understanding multimodal language and intersemiotic translation; (2) the use of digital technologies in literature teaching; and (3) experience with active methodologies and meaningful learning. The results indicated that the book trailer appears to foster student engagement, increase interest in literary reading, and enable meaning-making through the articulation of linguistic, aesthetic, and technological resources. The research also highlights the challenges of implementing such practices in public education contexts, including material and time constraints, but suggests feasible paths for their replication and expansion. It is concluded that the book trailer, as a practice of reading and intersemiotic translation, can contribute to reading skills in technological education, aligning with the contemporary demands of critical and multimodal education.Item Ciência e tecnologia no Instituto Federal de Alagoas: proposta de e-book para disseminação de conhecimentos sobre inovação e propriedade intelectual(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-12-16) Moraes, Andressa Rodrigues Sabino Ricardo; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Nascimento, Ticiano Gomes do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6296388037177344; Azevêdo, Luciana Cavalcanti de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1897636028453143; Silva, Eunice Palmeira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4679066494213977Innovation occurs when knowledge is transformed into a product, a new or significan tly improved process and used by society. In this sense, the scientific technological knowledge provided by the Federal Institute of Alagoas ( IFAL ) is essential for the cultural, technological and socioeconomic development of the state. This dissertation s ought to investigate the understanding of the participants of the Institutional Program for I NIT iation Scholarships in Technological Development and Innovation ( PIBITI ) about innovation and intellectual property at IFAL , being the advisors and scholardship holders/ volunteers with projects approved in the 2018 2019 and 2019 2020 notices of the program . The objective of this work was to disseminate basic knowledge about innovation and protection of intellectual properties to PIBITI participants, contributing to the effectiveness of the research applied within the IFAL . This work brings reflections on the relationship between the path of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) and the Brazilian capitalist mode of production, with an emphasis on the poss ibility of overcoming Brazil's subservience in the context of the world economy, through scientific technological development, associated to the integral formation of subjects in the conception of education of the Federal Institutes of Professional Educati on. The research has a qualitative approach, being used more specifically the action research method, with the use of methodological instruments: interview, semi structured questionnaire, field notes and virtual interaction. The i nit ial diagnosis showed th at the sector responsible for stimulating technological innovation research and the protection of inventions, the IFAL Center for Technological Innovation ( NIT ), lacks the structure to develop its legal attributions, mainly in the dissemination of the cult ure of innovation in the Institute , since the number of servers in the sector is small and the activities are diverse. The tabulation of the results of the questionnaires revealed that PIBITI participants have incipient knowledge regarding innovation and i ntellectual property and, to contribute to the expansion of this knowledge, a textual material was constructed in the format of an e book as an educat ional product of this research , aimed at PIBITI participants, and can be made available to other intereste d parties. The material had a positive evaluation by the target audience of the research, and can be used by IFAL todisseminate basic knowledge about innovation and intellectual property.Item Competência em Informação na educação profissional e tecnológica: uma abordagem no curso técnico de nível médio integrado em química(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 0015-08-25) Oliveira, Maria Luzia Alexandre de; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Carneiro, Tereza Kelly Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3305071338937583; Santos, Maria do Socorro Ferreira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1039898435623128This research aims to problematize and analyze issues related to Information Literacy in the context of Vocational and Technological Education, with participants consisting of third-year students of the Integrated Technical Course in Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - Penedo Campus. The methodology is qualitative action research, developed in four stages: (1) Diagnostic research and data analysis; (2) Development of the Educational Product (EP); (3) Implementation of the EP and results obtained; (4) Adjustments and evaluation of the EP. The data analysis technique used was thematic content analysis for qualitative data and basic statistics for quantitative data. The research highlighted the need to work with Integrated High School students on concepts related to Information Literacy, considering their preference for accessing online information sources. Therefore, an Educational Product (EP) in course format was developed to promote and improve these students' information literacy skills, as well as to develop greater critical thinking and reflection regarding the process of searching, retrieving, and using information on the internet. The results of the Educational Product evaluation were positive, considering that the content related to Information Literacy contributed to the students' development. We concluded that Information Literacy is an important aspect to work with Integrated High School students, as it enables lifelong learning. We hope that other educators (librarians and teachers) will also work on this topic in other Professional and Technological Education (EPT) settings.Item Construção de um serious game para abordagem de noções de direito do trabalho no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-05-20) Silva, Carlos Farias da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317This research emerged from the need to offer notions of Brazilian Labour Law in integrated Professional and Technological Education at the intermediate level of the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Although the Federal Institute of Alagoas offers professional education as one of its purposes, it does not include in the curriculum of integrated technical courses at the secondary level the approach of essential concepts of Brazilian Labour rights, such as the basic functioning of a contract, forms of access to Labour Justice and knowledge of institutions responsible for protecting workers, for example. In view of this fact, as well as the opportunity to strengthen the professional and citizen education of students, this research proposed to make said content available through a game, Tripalium, which is a serious game, whose purpose is to promote the learning of contents, by working on the motivation and interest of students in the topic. The research question that leads the study was the following: would a serious game be an appropriate instrument to address notions of Brazilian Labor Law at the Federal Institute of Alagoas? The hypothesis raised was that, yes, because games, in theory, are able to motivate students and, for that, they produce direct reflexes in the attention and interest of learners in the content discussed. Therefore, the research had as a general objective the construction of the referred game, which was accomplished through the realization of four specific objectives: 1) to build a previous organizer, a potentially significant introductory material, based on the principles of Theory of Meaningful Learning, to address the central themes of the notions of Brazilian Labor Law and, thus, to place students / players in the theme; 2) build a prototype for the game; 3) carry out tests on the prototype, with the participation of student volunteers, to identify errors and possible improvements; 4) implement changes based on the suggestions and reviews from student volunteers. This paper is about action research, with a political-social perspective and qualitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire, field diary and focus group, and had the primary function of subsidizing the construction and improvement of Tripalium, the educational product resulting from this research. The experiences provided by the production process of Tripalium showed that the game contributed to increase motivation and facilitate the learning of the contents, while also providing fun for the players. Besides that, results indicated that Tripalium served to increase interaction and cooperation between players / students, as well as increasing their participation during the learning process itself.Item Controle social como mecanismo de cidadania no âmbito do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-12-21) Nascimento, Jefferson Gerlânio do; Barbosa, José Isnaldo de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3111088449226485The dissertation presents social control as an element of citizenship for integral human formation within the scope of Professional Education. In the context of Integrated High School, it also explains the reasons and the fundamentals of the importance of social control in the management of public money and in the exercise of citizenship. It also describes and analyzes the instruments that enable any citizen to participate, monitor and inspect the acts practiced by the public administration, especially within the sphere of the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is guided by a qualitative methodology, in which certain practices of the researched students were investigated, through the application of questionnaires, in order to analyze the level of knowledge of these students on the subject of social control. It also has an educational product, in the format of an educational booklet, to disseminate the exercise of social control. It concludes that it is necessary to develop actions in the school space that promote the control of acts practiced by public managers. For this, teachers have an important role, as they can build educational projects, with the theme of social control in the academic environment.Item Desenvolvimento de sequência didática como produto educacional: os temas HIV e AIDS em módulos de aprendizagem(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-08-28) Santos, Deyvison Campos dos; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955This Dissertation is from a research that contemplates the development and evaluation process of the Educational Product (PE) “Didactic Sequence: proposal to approach the themes HIV and AIDS in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety”. The general objective of the study was to develop a Didactic Sequence (DS) to approach the themes HIV and AIDS in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the educational practice aimed at professional qualification and preparation for the exercise of citizenship. The research has a qualitative approach and the study method is that of collaborative action research. The research instruments used were subject questionnaires, satisfaction questionnaires and reflective diaries. The developed DS was assessed using descriptive aspectos by teachers of a subsequent technical course of secondary level in Work Safety. The investigative question that guides the work is "how do teachers of a subsequent high school technical course in Work Safety evaluate a proposal for approaching the issues of HIV and AIDS aimed at the production of didactic and pedagogical materials by the technicians in training?". The results are the positive judgment of the DS by the collaborator-evaluators, and there were also points evaluated in a neutral way by one of the evaluators, among the twenty items / aspects of the material, and no item / aspect was negatively evaluated. The participation of teachers in the appreciation and evaluation process of DS was shown as a contribution to the professional development of teachers. As a conclusion, it is understood that the developed SD is configured as a tool to address the themes HIV and AIDS, in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the development of professional skills and the construction of knowledge necessary to citizenship exercise. Other conclusions from the research are: i) teaching in Vocational and Technological Education is conditioned by political issues and different theoretical perspectives; ii) the Federal Institutes propose to train the subjects in full, motivating the performance of teachers and their pedagogical practices in line with the principles of omnilaterality; iii) the development of a EP, within the scope of teacher training, must be provided to meet the specificities of VTE in the Federal Education Network by teachers of the EBTT career.Item Direito do trabalho e previdenciário na educação profissional e tecnológica em uma perspectiva contra-hegemôminica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-07-15) Lima Filho, Noé Higino de; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3106780553307514Acquiring knowledge related to Labor and Social Security Law is fundamentally important for strengthening professional relationships, as these legal fields protect citizens and ensure safeguards against potential abuses in labor relations. This study aimed to analyze whether pre- graduating students from Federal Institutes have access to knowledge of Labor and Social Security Law before entering the job market, as well as to verify whether there are mechanisms in place to protect them from possible exploitation within the capitalist system. In this context, the research investigates how the Integrated High School (Ensino Médio Integrado – EMI) curriculum addresses basic labor rights, such as the FGTS (Severance Indemnity Fund), paid vacation, 13th salary, sick leave, maternity leave, among other rights. The study falls within the research line "Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)" and is aligned with the macroproject "Organization of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT." The investigation is developed under a critical lens of the labor market and its insatiable demand for the training and qualification of those who intend to enter it. This work analyzes the legal knowledge provided within EMI and whether it effectively prepares students to engage in the workforce beyond the interests of capital. As a methodological approach, the research adopts a quanti-qualitative perspective, using action research and semi-structured questionnaires applied to final-year students of the Agricultural Technical Course at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – IFAL – Satuba Campus. The research involved documentary and bibliographic analysis and was conducted in five stages: (I) Diagnostic research with students in the classroom; (II) Analysis of diagnostic data; (III) Definition and development of the educational product; (IV) Presentation of the product and application of an evaluation questionnaire; (V) Analysis of the evaluation data collected. The study confirmed the lack of practical legal education in Labor and Social Security Law for pre-graduating students at IFAL. In response, an educational booklet was developed, grounded in Paulo Freire’s pedagogical concepts and aiming to implement David Ausubel’s theory of meaningful learning. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the educational product in contributing to the formation of critically aware students, from high school through professional life, aligned with EMI’s proposal of omnilateral education in a counter-hegemonic perspective — not only preparing students to enter the job market, but also to defend themselves within it, equipped with the knowledge of what awaits them after graduation.Item Do xamanismo ancestral ao contemporâneo: o debate sobre as religiosidades/espiritualidades xamanismo indígenas no ensino médio integrado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-11) Cavalcanti, Rêmia Vasconcellos; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3128-3093; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3128-3093; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3281-612X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Martins, Sílvia Aguiar Carneiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3656772019325644; Silva, Amaro Hélio Leite da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0318967074428573This research has intentend to investigate the treatment over the debate regarding the indigenous religiosities (shamanism) in the field of public high school, aiming to create an educational product that contributes to the improvement of that treatment, thus strenghning an intercultural and integral pedagoical perspective. The interest in this theme comes from the experience of the researcher in the extension project "The Sacred Nature of Medicinal Plants: promotion of health and cultural tradition of indigenous communities of Alagoas, through the Center of Indigenous and afro-brazilian studies (NEBI/IFAL - Campus Maceió). The project has justified itself as Culture is a mandatory curricular component of the subject Sociology and of the fact that history and indigenous culture are mandatory themes at all levels of education, as determined by the Act nº 11.645/2008. The relevance of this study has been revealed through the analysis of the historical violence perpetrated against indigenous people and their culture. This violence is due to colonialism and coloniality, which have direct and indirect implications on teaching materials and pedagocical perspectives. This work has been conducted from the hermeneutic-dialectic theoretical-ethodological perspectives and the theoretical perspective of intercultural and integral education. In addition, bibliographical references from the fields of Social Sciences were used, which provided important reflections on the topic. The investigation uses methodological strategies of bibliographic and qualitative research, guided by the methods of action-research and oral memory. To this end, data collection techniques were used through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews and Bardin's content analysis technique. The locus of the research was the Maceió Campus, where the educational product was applied and validated as a possibility of teaching resource for inclusive practices in the Sociology curricular component in the Integrated High School. The main results achieved in the diagnostic phase were the constatation of the lack of knowledge, by the majority of students, about the culture, especially in indigenous religiosities; the lack of debate regarding the topic; the lack of teaching materials that deal with the topic; and the lack of educational training of the teachers, in a integral and intercultural perspective. In relation to the evaluation phase of the Educational Product, it was observed that the content of the teaching material improved the knowledge about indigenous culture and religiosity, contributed to the inclusion and expansion of the study on the topic and contributed to the construction of teaching material to be used in the context of Integrated High School.Item Ecos de ancestralidade: relatos das tradições sociais e culturais das mulheres do Muquém-AL(2020-10-10) Santos, Daniela Verena Neves; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva Meirelles; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3106780553307514ABSTRACT This is an educational research that aims to investigate how the experiences and knowledge of quilombola women about the organization of work and its cultural and social manifestations can contribute to the integrated training of students in the fourth grade of the Integrated High School Technical Course in Agroecology with a view to to omnilateral education. For this, it uses the understanding of issues that deal with the contribution of Vocational and Technological Education, as a public policy, in the context of overcoming hegemonic social paradigms that limit the existence of quilombola communities. Communities maintain their own relationship of belonging to their territories, where it is possible to transmit traditional knowledge through the teachings of their ancestors, passed on from generation to generation. Therefore, qualitative research was carried out, whose method is action research in a non-formal environment. The project investigated took place through the diagnosis of the building ideas of the students of the 4th grade of the Technical Course of Integrated Middle Level in Agroecology, from Campus Murici, about the quilombola communities, in addition to interviews, which we carried out in loco, to the quilombola women of Muquém. belonging to the Association of Quilombo Remnants of Muquém. We understand that through the modality of non-formal education it is possible to recognize the traditional knowledge of communities for the integral formation of the subjects. In this sense, as a result of the research, it was found that it is possible to promote the exchange of knowledge between the Comunidade do Muquém and the Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Campus Murici with a view to integrating knowledge that stimulates the transformation of the reality of the research subjects. We identified that quilombola women play a social role in the leadership of these environments, consecrated themselves as responsible for the organization and development of work in the community. The commitment to the transmission of traditions such as handicrafts, family farming, cooking and religion derives from this function. We understand that knowledge of their traditions allows future technical professionals in Agroecology to know other narratives about Brazilian social formation and the development of sustainable techniques in the region. Finally, the data obtained enabled the elaboration of an E-book – Echoes of Ancestrality: Accounts of Social and Cultural Traditions of Muquém Women as an educational product.Item Educação alimentar e nutricional no contexto da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT)(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-07-30) Maciel Filho, Valdenor Carvalho; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares de; Meirelles , Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Montaldo, Yamina Coentro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6806232828008687This dissertation aims to investigate the potential of Food and Nutrition Education (FNE) within the scope of Professional and Technological Education (PTE), through the development and implementation of a playful Educational Product (EP). The proposal arises from the need to promote innovative pedagogical practices that integrate curricular content with relevant themes for the holistic development of students. The research, which follows a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory nature, utilized the action research method and was conducted with first- year students of the Integrated High School at IFAL – Satuba Campus. As an educational intervention, the card game "Nu-tri-oh – The Healthy Eating Game" was developed, aiming to foster youth protagonism, critical reflection, and autonomy in food choices. The results showed that the game significantly contributed to the learning of content related to healthy eating, expanding students' knowledge about food groups, nutrients, and the impacts of eating habits on health. There was also a high level of engagement among the participants, as well as a willingness to change eating behavior. It is concluded that the use of playful resources in the school context can be an effective strategy to enhance Health Education (EAN) and strengthen the connection between theory and practice, promoting the formation of conscious, critical, and socially committed individuals regarding their health and well-being.Item Educação ambiental no contexto profissional e tecnológico: uma proposta de plano de gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos para o IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes(2020-05-22) Santos, José Emiliano; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Santos, Lesso Benedito dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9848661202276911; Rodrigues, Adriana de Carvalho Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3960211837700849This research intended to investigate the logistics of solid waste at IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes – seeking to verify how the process of generation, collection, packaging, transport and the final destination of such waste occurs in accordance with current legislation. The objective was to investigate the legislation on solid waste management in the context of Professional and Technological Education for the proposal of a Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus and elaboration of an environmental booklet. The study was characterized in a qualitative and quantitative approach - focusing on the interpretation, meaning and sense of environmental education - analyzing the current situation of the residues generated on the Campus - through their gravimetric composition; as well, it investigated the perception of teachers, administrative technicians, students and outsourced workers in relation to the problem of solid waste, more specifically, as action research - in which the subject-researcher participates directly in the reflections around work. The results showed that the vast majority of students and contractors consider society as the main responsible for the conservation of the environment and, for the most part, feel responsible for the correct disposal of waste. However, only a small minority will segregate organic and inorganic waste before disposal and most do not know how long the waste takes will decompose in the environment. However, the concern of students, contractors, teachers and administrative technicians about the environmental problems arising solid waste is clear. The hypotheses raised in the study after being confronted, in an interpretive way, with the knowledge produced, were confirmed. Finally, the Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus was proposed, with indicators for evaluation and monitoring, and mains legislations referring to solid waste; as well as an Educational Product, in the form of a booklet, dealing with issues related to solid waste - as support material, for the development of environmental education actions on Campus. The Educational Product developed in the research was applied to students and proved to be relevant for the development of environmental actions. It was also positively evaluated by teachers and students of the Logistics Course as a complementary tool in the teaching- learning process.Item Educação integrada e a questão indígena: uma proposta de intervenção nos cursos de ensino técnico integrado ao médio do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-07-17) Freire, Adriana Cirqueira; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Amorim, Siloé Soares deIn order to contribute to the expansion of knowledge about the history and culture of the indigenous peoples of the state of Alagoas in the classrooms of the technical courses integrated to the high school of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), during this work an educational product was done in a participatory manner, with the contribution of the teaching staff and the pedagogy team. This initiative also contributes to a more effective implementation of the legislation that instituted the mandatory inclusion of the theme "Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous History and Culture" in the official curriculum for public and private schools: Federal Law No. 11,645 of March 10th, 2008. Using action research as a method, this work sought to expand knowledge about the history and social processes that affect the indigenous populations of Alagoas in order to include it in the discussion of integrated education. The locus of the research was the Ifal Satuba Campus and the two pedagogues from the campus and 10 (ten) professors at the disciplines Arts, History, Portuguese Language and Sociology participated. The diagnosis was applied through questionnaires and semi-directed interviews with the professionals of the campus and, to complement the information, a questionnaire was also applied to some students of the high school’s last grade. After that step, the content of the educational product was built on a bibliographic and documentary research basis, evaluated by the same diagnosis professors, by the Neabi's advisor and by expert researchers from outside the campus. After the inclusion of the evaluation contributions, the educational product “Etnias Indígenas Alagoanas”, was finalized. We understand that the product contributes for the improvement of the educational practice, that it responds to a legal requirement and that it expands the conditions of recognition of the local context by the school community, contributing to a true integral education.Item Estratégias pedagógicas nas aulas de língua portuguesa do ensino médio integrado ao técnico: reflexões sobre práticas humanizadoras(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-06-17) Silva, Ítalo Christiano da; Gaia, Rossana Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693; Santos, Lúcia de Fátima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3235342037177115; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955The studies on processes of humanization in pedagogical practice present reflections on the teacher actions and the already established relationships of the formal classroom environment. This research had investigated educational practices in the Portuguese Language Classroom that consider the kindness and offering transversal themes. The methodological steps followed the order: (i) organization the workshop contents; (ii) application of questionnaires; (iii) elaboration of remote workshops to discuss humanizing thematic to the adolescents; and (iv) creation an educational game that problematizes issues from socio-emotional interest to adolescents. The indicated results, with the answers and the virtual participation of the students, helped to evaluate and approve the educational product board game developed by the researcher. Additionally, the study systematized materials about humanization in the classroom. The intervention in the Portuguese language classes has been thought based on researcher training, licentiate in Letters, and his experience as a teacher, besides the questioning possibility that this curricular component promotes, through debates and oral presentations, readings, productions and interpretation and/or comprehension of verbal and non-verbal texts. The results confirmed that humanizing practices with dialogued classes and methodologies that involve active student’s participation promotes qualitative learning.Item Etnozootecnia como proposta de valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais em EPT(2021-08-27) Silva, Washington Luis Santos da; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Silva, Ana Paula Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3016801941244964This work is an ethno-technical study that was developed in the city of Palmeira dos Índios and region with the objective of collecting knowledge about the traditional use in the breeding of domestic animals. 100 semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data were collected for characterization of the participating subject as well as regional methods and customs for animal husbandry (cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, teals, rabbits, horses, dogs and cats). Participating subjects had an average age of 40-50 years and a balanced number of men and women, most of them illiterate or with low education with current or past activity related to agriculture or animal husbandry. Knowledge is fundamentally of traditional origin and is still frequently applied today, but if not registered there is a risk that knowledge will be lost in the face of scientific tests. The most common knowledge was the use of medicines of plant origin and the use of prayers and prayers (still persisting superstitions in supernatural beings such as the redneck and the like). In animals, treatment occurs in skin wounds and worms. The application of this knowledge can contribute to the appreciation of empirical knowledge still in use in these rural communities and pass on mainly to students of technical courses in the field of Agrarian Sciences.Item A extensão no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas: contribuições para formação integral dos estudantes(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-10-27) Barbosa, Kelly Medeiros de Oliveira; Santos, Maria do Socorro Ferreira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1039898435623128; Silva, Nelson Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Cavalcante, Valeria Campos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6189537710156188The labour world has undergone several transformations over the years. The so-called productive restructuring, which has its logic derived from a social, political and economic context marked by financial crises, created new needs for the employee and, consequently, for the professional training student. As an institution from the Federal Professional and Technological Education network, the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas proposes the formation of a critical polytechnic professional, with knowledge of the dynamics of the productive world, engaged with society and aware of his role in the transformation of reality. Offering an education based on the inseparability between teaching, research and the extension programs, the institution provides the student with access to the fundaments of work, its scientific foundations and culture. In addition, it also enables the student's relationship with the community so that they are able to understand their needs and act together to overcome them. The goal of the dissertation is to develop an educational product in order to improve students' knowledge about extension programs’ actions and awaken their interest in participating. It is an action research with a qualitative approach, which proposes to use a semi-structured questionnaire and interviews as methodological instruments. In the first stage of the research, the diagnostic phase, students enrolled in the year of 2019 on the Marechal Deodoro campus participated in this study, divided into two groups: the first with students who had never participated in extension programs’ actions, and the second with the scholarship holders from the extension programs’ actions developed on the same campus. The data showed that participation in extension programs’ actions contributes to a comprehensive or total training of scholars. However, most students are unaware of the extension programs’ actions that are developed inside the institute. In the second phase of the research, the digital booklet Extension at Ifal (Federal Institute of Alagoas) was developed: learning beyond the walls of the institute. At this time, the educational product went through the assessment of three segments: a) graduating students from integrated high school courses on campus; b) managers and; c) servers from the Dean of Extension Programs. The evaluators were unanimous as to the relevance of the booklet's content to the level of knowledge of high school students and that, its language and illustrative aspects comply with the goal of informing and encouraging high school students of the importance in participating in actions from extension programs. Thus, we can conclude that this research reveals the relevance of extension programs in the integral training of students as well as its importance in fulfilling the social function of the institute.Item Fala, Ifal! “a sua webradio em educação profissional”(2020-07-22) Silva, Gabriela Luzia Rodrigues; Gaia, Rossana Viana; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7592-1881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693; Gaia , Rossana Viana; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7592-1881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693; Santos, Magnólia Rejane Andrade dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3403467342603520; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317Educommunication is a complex field of studies in the interface of multidisciplinary areas that is intended to promote planning and implementation of communication processes in the school environment with further democratization and smaller hierarchy.
