Item A contribuição dos jogos para o ensino da matemática: uma análise bibliográfica a respeito do desenvolvimento social e da matemática recreativa(2025-06-30) Souza Júnior, Josenildo dos Santos; Silva, Vanessa Lúcia da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4017185539776065; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837This study aims to investigate how the use of games can contribute to the teaching and learning of mathematics, with an emphasis on their functions in the social development of students and their application in recreational mathematics. The research was conducted through a Systematic Literature Review, using the following descriptors combined by the Boolean operator AND: “mathematical games”, “online games”, “development”, “probability” and “teaching mathematics”. The search was carried out in the following databases: Journals of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Repositories of the Federal Universities of Alagoas (UFAL), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), in addition to the Ludus Association. Only complete, free articles, in Portuguese, published between 1990 and 2025 were considered. Thirteen articles were selected, with 2008 presenting the largest number of contributions. Google Scholar stood out as the source with the largest number of relevant articles. All selected works presented methodology based on field studies. The detailed analysis of the content allowed the identification of two main thematic axes: (1) analysis of games and their relationship with social development and (2) recreational mathematics and education. This study highlights the use of games as effective pedagogical resources in teaching mathematics, promoting not only the understanding of content, but also the social, psychological and cognitive development of students. Based on Vygotsky's theory and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), the work shows how playfulness favors collaborative learning, autonomy and critical thinking. By making the process less anxious and more motivating, games transform mathematics into a concrete, enjoyable and meaningful experience.Item A Simetria como Recurso de Comunicação Matemática na Educação Básica: Contexto Histórico, abordagens teóricas e práticas pedagógicas(2025-07-10) Brandão, Raquel Vieira; Henriques, Lucas De Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259This paper addresses symmetry as a relevant pedagogical resource in the teaching of mathematics, especially in Basic Education. Symmetry is presented not only as a geometric concept but also as a didactic tool that promotes understanding of spatial relationships, proportions, and transformations in the Cartesian plane. The study covers the main types of symmetry — axial, rotational, translational, and origin symmetry — and illustrates each with graphical representations, geometric figures, and real-world contexts, such as art, nature, and architectural patterns. It also discusses practical classroom activities involving dance, body movement, and group dialogue as strategies to explore symmetry in an interactive and meaningful way. Additionally, the paper analyzes ENEM exam questions that address symmetry, emphasizing its relevance in visual literacy and problem solving. Ultimately, the work highlights symmetry as a bridge between mathematics, art, and cultural expression, fostering integrated and contextualized learning.Item Uma abordagem da Cicloide: "a Helena da geometria"(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-01-25) Silva, Jefferson Marinho da; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Oliveira, Elinelson Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4985621981248771; Silva, Tiago Marinho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3964717265579881This work presents a brief historical research on the cycloid, in addition to an intuitive construction on the curve, working on the definition and parameterization. This research discusses pedagogical practices that link the contents to the playful context of presenting the cycloid and not just algebraic as in calculation books. Taking into account the context of Mathematics, this proposal presents as a problem the lack of interest in the study of the curve, considering that its use was left aside by mathematicians. In the context of these problems, the proposal intends to awaken the relevance of the cycloid, answering the following questions: how to motivate the understanding of the cycloid? How to show practicality through your application? The main objective of the proposal is to present in a more practical way the understanding of the cycloid. This work is based on studies by Boyer (2012), Bustillo and Sassine (2011) and Stewart (2013). With the results, it was possible to observe that although we have other ways to calculate the cycloid, the best way would be with the parametric equations, as they bring us a simpler way of calculating the curve. The results also point to the practicality of building in Geogebra.Item Análise de uma proposta didática para o ensino da tabuada para os alunos do 6º ano do ensino fundamental: bingo da tabuada(2025-07-07) Renovato, Julio Cesar Dias; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/8130778140721340; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/9395417554768580; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/2740547167333947Teaching multiplication tables in sixth grade faces challenges due to traditional memorization methods, which generate disinterest and learning difficulties. This study proposes "Multiplication Table Bingo" as a playful strategy to make the process more dynamic and meaningful. The research is justified by the need to renew pedagogical practices, reduce math anxiety, and promote student engagement in fundamental math learning. This paper aims to present an innovative teaching method for teaching multiplication tables in the 6th grade of elementary school. This monograph consists of qualitative bibliographic research, structured as a literature review. In addition to the review, this study analyzes the results obtained through a teaching intervention based on the game Multiplication Table Bingo, adapted for teaching mathematical operations to 6th-grade public school students. The application of Multiplication Table Bingo with 6th-grade students demonstrated positive results, promoting greater engagement, participation, and reducing math anxiety. The use of active methodologies proved effective in overcoming the limitations of traditional teaching and making the learning process more meaningful. It was found that differentiated strategies favor the inclusion of different learning styles and reduce math anxiety. Thus, the importance of innovative pedagogical proposals for making teaching more effective and meaningful is reinforced.Item Uma análise dos números reais sob o olhar do professor de matemática no ensino básico(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-05) Silva, Danilva Claudia Alvino da; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Silva, Gilmar Teodozio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7311803942000051; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422This work attempts to encourage students of major in Mathematics to give more importance to the Study of real numbers as a way of being future teachers aware of transmitting the clearest and most objective content to Basic Education students, especially to the subject that deals with the origin of irrational numbers. The unwillingness of some teachers to talk about real number theory and history leads the student to believe that they exist by chance, wlich leads students to accept ready-made formulas. In some cases the teacher itself omits this topic, without attaching much importance to learning, and many students finish high school without knowing why real(ou irrational?) numbers exist and go unnoticed as to how the set of real numbers can be described. The main aim of this work is a critical study of real numbers, from the point of view of a mathematics teacher, this ondergraduate student herself, based on experiences lived in the school career, which can be seen that many undergraduates in mathematics also face a lot of difficulty in trying to understand a subject that seems simple at first, but there are several divergences, as a result, we will analyze the ideal procedures that suit our reality in mathematics teaching, as well as propose to future teachers ways of passing the content to students in a didactic and comprehensive approach, offering students a deeper view of the subject, so they may enjoy the proposed content. Work, uses bibliographic research and a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographic approach, in an explanatory way.Item Aplicações de variáveis aleatórias contínuas em problemas reais(2024-08-01) Gonçalves, Douglas Floering Brêda; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Lopes, Rafael do Sacramento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2775224211896509The present work aims to explore the applications of continuous random variables in real problems, addressing fundamental concepts of probability and their distributions. The study begins with an introduction to the concept of probability, events and sample space, moving on to the additive and multiplicative rules that govern the combination of events. During the work, random variables and their probability distributions are discussed, focusing on the differences between discrete and continuous distributions. Particular attention is paid to continuous random variables. In this context, concepts such as the probability density function, expectation, variance and standard deviation are presented, which are essential for the analysis of these variables. The Study explores three continuous probability distributions: the Uniform, the Normal and the Exponential distribution, detailing their characteristics and behavior in different scenarios. In the last part of the work, practical applications of these distributions in real contexts are presented, demonstrating the usefulness of continuous random variables in modeling phenomena in various areas such as finance, engineering, data science, among others.Item Construção do latus rectum utilizando o geogebra(2025-07-08) Lima, Rose Aline Bezerra; Nunes, Me Hugo Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Henriques, Lucas de Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988This study aims to investigate the latus rectum of conic sections, ellipse, parabola, and hyperbola, by addressing its definition, properties, and geometric constructions. Although it is a significant element for understanding conic curves, the latus rectum is rarely discussed in conventional textbooks, both at the high school and undergraduate levels. To address this gap, a qualitative and exploratory research was conducted, based on historical and bibliographic sources, with emphasis on the work of Apollonius of Perga and modern analytical geometry manuals. In addition to the theoretical foundation, this study proposes the graphical construction of the latus rectum using the GeoGebra software, aiming to enhance visualization and facilitate the teaching and learning process. The use of this technological tool seeks to make mathematical concepts more accessible, dynamic, and interactive, thus bridging theory and educational practice.Item A criação da régua de números inteiros adaptada para o braille a partir da modificação do material dourado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2018-11-30) Nascimento, Douglas Lopes do; Pereira Neto, Lauro Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294245620497736; Costa, Camila Lima da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1430561754887346; Silva , Luiz Galdino da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6511974471336575; Oliveira , Elisabete Duarte de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7781886522973384This study arose from the questionnaire of the inquietations of teachers, in particular teachers of mathematics, and the client with visual students: how to teach a student with visual impairment? How to include it in the classroom? These concerns may be normal, since initial orientation courses are not tailored to needs. In this way, this study proposes a construction of a manipulative didactic material as a didactic proposal for teaching people with visual impairment, making possible the inclusion of this student in the classroom. Thinking about the difficulties facing the problems faced, this is a resource as an aid to the learning process of a student who has, in the hearing and the domain, higher cognitive functions than the learning capacity. This study was to propose the creation of the integral index rule adapted for Braille, from the changes of the golden model including the method of understanding between integers integers integers. It is a low-cost, manipulative teaching material and helps in the process of inclusion of visually impaired students in the classroom, trying to make sense of the exercises related to the set of integers. A qualitative and experimental methodology was used, as well as a bibliographical one, having as main theorists researched: Mantoan (2006); Laplane and Batista (2008), Uliana (2003); Groenald, Silva and Mora (2004); Silva (2012) and Lorenzato (2006). It is hoped that this work as a guiding element in teaching math for the visually impaired and inspire further research into teaching as a whole.Item Da geometria ao movimento: a motivação para o conceito de derivada(2025-07-07) Silva, Jonas Alexandre dos Santos; Nascimento, Arlysson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947Differential calculus represents one of the most significant discoveries in mathematics and science. Its development occurred gradually, with contributions from several thinkers throughout history, being largely attributed to the works of Gottfried Leibniz and Isaac Newton. Although both were polymaths, they had different perspectives: Leibniz approached the topic from a purely mathematical standpoint, seeking methods to determine the slope of tangent lines, while Newton focused on calculating the instantaneous velocity of a moving object. This work aims to present the development of differential calculus from both perspectives, ranging from its applications in analytic geometry to its relevance in kinematics. Furthermore, the formal concept of the derivative, its main rules, and applications are discussed, highlighting its importance as a tool for analyzing the motion of bodies.Item Dando sentido a equações do segundo grau a partir do uso do material dourado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-29) Almeida, Igor Carlos Alvim de; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dosIn this present work, applied at Theonilo Gama State School, located in the Jacintinho neighborhood in Maceió-AL, where I participated in the Pedagogical Residency program by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maceió campus. In classes “A” and “D” of the 3rd grade of high school, we are going to demystify the difficulty that some students had when faced with the subject of high school equations, in which the covid-19 pandemic classes at school were very affected and these students had great difficulty in solving both first and second degree equations. In order to resolve the doubts on the subject, we used the golden material to apply and solve the quadratic equations, in which another possibility of finding the roots of polynomials was demonstrated, associating the algebraic part with the geometric part, through the manipulation of this object. Through the use of this instrument, it was possible to develop the skills and abilities necessary to understand the relationships discussed in the classroom and to find roots of a quadratic equation, as well as the sides of a rectangle formed by the pieces of golden material. Hence, the reflections on the development of the algebraic structure in the geometric construction made in the classroom, where using manipulative materials for teaching and learning helps to understand the meanings and solve problem- situations.Item Educação financeira nos anos finais do ensino fundamental: um guia didático(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-12-08) Coelho, Elis Lima; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Henriques, Lucas De Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988Financial education is internationally considered a vital part of the basic education of citizens able to fulfill their rights and duties in society. National indicators point to gaps in the training of Brazilian citizens regarding their financial literacy, whilst international bodies point out that the economic health of a country is associated with the level of financial education of its population. However, the presence of this topic in the National Common Curricular Base as a suggested content is slim. The present work seeks to link contents already covered in the Mathematics curriculum of the final years of elementary school to themes of financial education. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out on financial education and the production of educational products. Finally, there was the construction of a teaching guide containing four formative tracks that deal with themes already present in the mathematics curriculum using financial education as a scenario for the activities.Item Equações diferenciais ordinárias de segunda ordem: uma abordagem analítica e com o software GeoGebra(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-30) Lima, Jonathan Willams Lins de Ataide; Lima, Leon Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616688310117461; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Silva Júnior, Rinaldo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9156830519836354; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700Models involving Ordinary Second Order Differential Equations are present in several problems in various areas of Exact and Earth Sciences, through applications in fluid mechanics, heat conduction, electrical circuits and electromagnetic phenomena. In this sense, the present work presents a study on these equations, covering the fundamental concepts of first-order to second-order equations. Throughout the development of the work, with the exception of the analysis via GeoGebra, the independent variable was time, so that we could also cover Physics students, considering that in general all physical models are based on this parameter. For the application, we brought two problems involving mathematical modeling, the first being a model for detecting diabetes and the other involving a series circuit RLC. Initially, we carried out an analytical analysis of the two problems, detailing how all the calculations were made, and the other was carried out using a applet created in software GeoGebra during a technological initiation project developed at Instituto Federal de Alagoas - Campus Maceió, with the aim of students being able to combine the theoretical part with the practical part. Understanding the solution methods is an important step during the process of teaching and learning differential equations, considering that it was only possible to develop this interactive window by understanding how these methods work. We concluded, from the analysis of the problems, that the use of technology aimed at education provides students with a new learning environment through interactivity and experimentation with different scenarios.Item Explorando alguns tópicos da teoria dos números: uma abordagem olímpica nos anos finais do ensino médio(2025-06-13) Santos, Rodrigo Medeiros dos; Farias, José Cicero Gomes; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5470804227037647; Mendonça, Fernando Antonio Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8147664686175269; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422This paper discusses the application of Number Theory topics in the Final Years of Elementary Education, focusing on their use in mathematical competitions such as the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad for Public Schools (OBMEP). Furthermore, the study emphasizes how OBMEP and others Mathmatic’s Olympiads contributes to the popularization of mathematics and the identification of talents in public schools.Item Formação inicial de professores de matemática no Ifal: percepções sobre a prática pedagógica(2023-10-10) Moreira, Renata Lúcia Sá; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580Understand how the initial training offered by the IFAL mathematics degree course enables the theory-practice articulation necessary for teaching mathematics. The method used was qualitative research, and the case study was used as a methodological approach. We formulated a questionnaire via Googledocs made available to the subjects investigated, who are graduates of the mathematics degree course at IFAL – Campus Maceió who completed the course between 2013 and 2019, who are working as teachers in basic education. We observed that more than 80% of the questionnaires answered stated that their initial training carried out at IFAL guarantees the theory-practice articulation necessary for their pedagogical practice developed in basic education. It can be concluded that from the answers obtained that the mathematics course meets its objectives described in the PPC, which establishes a close relationship between theory and experimental practice.Item Geometria analítica: panorama histórico e algumas aplicações(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-07) Tenório, Marcos José da Silva; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Lopes, Rafael do Sacramento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2775224211896509Analytical geometry is the area of mathematics that studies geometric structures from an algebraic perspective in which its studies are used in contexts involving coordinates. Some historians of mathematics credit René Descartes with the discovery of analytical geometry. Starting from this brief context, this work aimed to historically address the emergence and evolution of Analytical Geometry and its implications for the construction and development of mathematical knowledge. As a methodology, there is a bibliographical review carried out through books and studies available in databases, which initially reveals the importance of analytical geometry as a curricular component of undergraduate courses in the exact sciences, such as Engineering, Computer Science, and of Mathematics, in addition to its relevance as a necessary tool for Differential and Integral Calculus and being one of the main references in a first linear algebra course. As Analytical Geometry originated in the midst of problems faced by humanity, such as the discovery of irrational numbers, incommensurable numbers, Zeno's paradoxes, the method of exhaustion, the idea of continuity, philosophical questions and religious beliefs, it is considered to be It is important that the teaching of analytical geometry permeates historical events, proposing the proposal to build knowledge and not just solve algorithms.Item Matemática versus pedagogia: uma análise acerca das disciplinas na área da matemática ofertadas nos cursos de pedagogia de Instituições Públicas e Privadas no Estado de Alagoas(2022-01-18) Rodrigues Filho, Marcos Santos; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2811899043438299; Limeira, Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646; Reis, Divanir Maria de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9955165966530603Understanding the teaching of Mathematics in the early years of Elementary School is a challenge for any researcher. There is a complexity in this environment that, only through extensive studies, one would understand what guides the feeling of seeing this discipline as challenging. Numerous scholars have made their analyzes and this work will approach them by linking their research with the disciplines in the area of Mathematics offered in the Pedagogy courses of public and private institutions in the state of Alagoas. Parallel to these researches and syllabuses of these disciplines, I will base myself on the BNCC, which will be our reference for analyzing this problem. In this way, the present work will bring an analysis about the disciplines in the area of Mathematics offered in the Pedagogy courses of public and private institutions in the state of Alagoas associating such disciplines to the BNCC with a direct relationship to documents researched on the internet in a conception I experienced in classroom. Notably, this work is a qualitative research, allowing to understand the complexity and details of the information obtained. This analysis sought to be carried out due to the need to understand the challenges that teachers in the early years face in approaching the teaching of Mathematics in the classroom and the non-understanding of the contents on the part of pedagogues and students, and brought as a result this concern that is significant for understanding the possible origins that limit some of these subjects in terms of teaching and learning. Private Higher Education Institutions were chosen randomly and I was not successful in the search for the menus of specific disciplines in the area of Mathematics, whereas the public ones were purposeful, achieving success in accessing the menus.Item Minecraft para o ensino da matemática na educação básica: mapeando dissertações e teses (2014-2023)(2024-12-09) Peixoto, Stheffanie Louise Oliveira; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Oliveira, Carloney Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9900433024242592; Melo , Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700This Course Completion Work (TCC) aims to analyze what has been published in theses and dissertations nationally regarding the use of Minecraft as a technological artifact in the learning process of Mathematics, focusing on students from elementary and high school, from 2014 to 2024. The specific objectives are: to map dissertations and theses that discuss the use of Minecraft in basic education; to identify the content that has been worked on with Minecraft in the classroom context; and to verify which learning theories have been associated with the dissertations and theses published between 2014 and 2023. To achieve this, a qualitative research with a bibliographic mapping approach was conducted, selecting theses and dissertations through the databases of the CAPES Thesis and Dissertation Bank and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The searches, carried out on October 1st and 2nd, 2024, utilized the search string "Minecraft." Inclusion and exclusion criteria were established to ensure that the selected works were relevant to Mathematics, basic education, and the use of Minecraft in the educational context. The selection process was divided into two stages: in the first, exclusion criteria were applied based on titles and abstracts; in the second, complete texts were analyzed to verify their adherence to the research scope. The six analyzed studies, all focused on Elementary School 2, addressed content related to geometry and proportionality, highlighting challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, lack of teacher expertise, and limitations of the game's creative mode. However, positive aspects were also noted, such as the promotion of a collaborative environment and increased student interest. The results indicate that Minecraft has the potential to enhance Mathematics teaching, provided it is associated with ongoing teacher training and innovative pedagogical practices.Item A multiplicação dos números racionais: um estudo de caso no 6 ano de escolaridade de uma escola em Portugal(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2019-01-18) Tenório, Jamilly Souza; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dos; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Oliveira, Elisabete Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7781886522973384; Silva, Gilmar TeodósioUnderstanding a series of rational data in the classroom becomes a complex and difficult study. The discipline of mathematical concepts such as strategies or forms of teaching more heavily dependent on context is the student is embedded. Thus, the work is aimed at people with disabilities in the area of non negative rational data. Like methodological attention, the research is qualitative and was given in a group of 6th year of schooling in Bragança - Portugal, through an International Mobility program, a partnership between Brazil and Portugal. As the main instrument of data analysis, a sequence of six tasks was used, each one with its exploration strategy. In verifying students’ resolutions, we identify the errors and difficulties most often associated with the lack of resources in the definition of a rational number or lack of a methodological teaching resource. In the scope of the analysis of rational indicators in Portugal, the teaching-learning needs of teaching-learning were investigatedItem O uso do aplicativo Fraction Challenger na aprendizagem de frações(2025-07-08) Gusmão, Thyago Silva de; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947The implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education, especially in the area of mathematics, has proven to be a powerful ally in the teaching-learning process. This Final Course Work (TCC) aims to explore and encourage the use of ICT in mathematics teaching, in light of TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), which offers a theoretical framework for the effective implementation of these technologies. Technologies allow abstract concepts to be visualized and manipulated in a concrete way, facilitating the understanding and retention of complex content. This Work investigates the use of technological resources, especially the FRACTION CHALLENGER application, as a pedagogical tool for teaching fractions in the 7th grade of Elementary School. The main objective of the research was to analyze how the use of this application can contribute to improving students’ understanding and performance in operations with fractions, such as representation, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractional numbers. The methodology adopted was the practical application of the application in the classroom, combined with the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data through diagnostic and summative assessments. The results demonstrated significant advances in the understanding and performance of operations with fractions by students, evidencing that the use of the application facilitated the teaching-learning process, making it more dynamic and attractive. As an indication for future research, the aim is to expand the use of educational applications in other classes and grades, as well as to conduct comparative studies between different technological resources, such as Arduino and its sensors. The research contributes to the field of Mathematics Education by highlighting the potential of digital technologies as effective tools for teaching mathematical content.Item Prancha para gráficos: uma ferramenta didática para o ensino de função Afim(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-31) Santa Bárbara, Mirian Andreza Rosa de; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Santos, José Roberto Nunes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2776939893721016Manipulative materials allow students to understand mathematical concepts in a more visible way, building knowledge in an active and collaborative way, developing socio- emotional skills, creativity and autonomy. And as a general objective of the study, we sought to present an analysis of the use of manipulable teaching material to teach Related Function, aiming to provide students with more meaningful and dynamic learning. And as a guiding question for the study, we ask: How to improve the teaching and learning of Affine Function in the mathematics discipline using Graphics Boards as manipulable teaching material? The teaching material used in our research was the Graphic Board, a material designed and developed during the Mathematics Teaching Laboratory V subject, offered in the Mathematics Degree course at IFAL Maceió. The study presents a bibliographical and field review on the possibilities and diversity of manipulable materials for Mathematics Teaching, along with a proposal on how to use the board for graphics in the classroom. The proposal was applied to a 1st year class of Integrated Technical High School, at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maceió campus, in order to analyze the benefits that activities with manipulable materials offer. Using this manipulative material to teach Affine Function brings numerous advantages for students, in addition to providing more interesting and engaging learning. In view of this, it was found that with the use of this manipulable resource, the teaching and learning process of the Related Function became much more dynamic and participatory, allowing students to understand the content in a pleasurable way and with greater ease.
