Item A contribuição dos jogos para o ensino da matemática: uma análise bibliográfica a respeito do desenvolvimento social e da matemática recreativa(2025-06-30) Souza Júnior, Josenildo dos Santos; Silva, Vanessa Lúcia da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4017185539776065; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837This study aims to investigate how the use of games can contribute to the teaching and learning of mathematics, with an emphasis on their functions in the social development of students and their application in recreational mathematics. The research was conducted through a Systematic Literature Review, using the following descriptors combined by the Boolean operator AND: “mathematical games”, “online games”, “development”, “probability” and “teaching mathematics”. The search was carried out in the following databases: Journals of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Repositories of the Federal Universities of Alagoas (UFAL), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), in addition to the Ludus Association. Only complete, free articles, in Portuguese, published between 1990 and 2025 were considered. Thirteen articles were selected, with 2008 presenting the largest number of contributions. Google Scholar stood out as the source with the largest number of relevant articles. All selected works presented methodology based on field studies. The detailed analysis of the content allowed the identification of two main thematic axes: (1) analysis of games and their relationship with social development and (2) recreational mathematics and education. This study highlights the use of games as effective pedagogical resources in teaching mathematics, promoting not only the understanding of content, but also the social, psychological and cognitive development of students. Based on Vygotsky's theory and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), the work shows how playfulness favors collaborative learning, autonomy and critical thinking. By making the process less anxious and more motivating, games transform mathematics into a concrete, enjoyable and meaningful experience.Item Propriedades geométricas e analíticas da família das cicloides: um estudo comparativo(2025-07-11) Queiroz, Yasmin Laryssa Lima de Omena; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Silva, Vanessa Lúcia da; https://orcid.org/0009-0001-9067-8936; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4017185539776065; Souza, Ana Paula Dantas de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0855037244655705; Costa, Valdir Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0249295123723616This work aims to investigate the geometric and analytical properties of the cycloid family, including variations such as the common cycloid, curtate cycloid, and prolate cycloid. Although it is a significant element for understanding conic curves, the latus rectum is rarely discussed in conventional textbooks, both at the high school and undergraduate levels. To address this gap, a qualitative and exploratory research was conducted, based on historical and bibliographic sources, with emphasis on the work of Apollonius of Perga and modern analytical geometry manuals. In addition to the theoretical foundation, this study proposes the graphical construction of the latus rectum using the GeoGebra software, aiming to enhance visualization and facilitate the teaching and learning process. The use of this technological tool seeks to make mathematical concepts more accessible, dynamic, and interactive, thus bridging theory and educational practice.Item Da geometria ao movimento: a motivação para o conceito de derivada(2025-07-07) Silva, Jonas Alexandre dos Santos; Nascimento, Arlysson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947Differential calculus represents one of the most significant discoveries in mathematics and science. Its development occurred gradually, with contributions from several thinkers throughout history, being largely attributed to the works of Gottfried Leibniz and Isaac Newton. Although both were polymaths, they had different perspectives: Leibniz approached the topic from a purely mathematical standpoint, seeking methods to determine the slope of tangent lines, while Newton focused on calculating the instantaneous velocity of a moving object. This work aims to present the development of differential calculus from both perspectives, ranging from its applications in analytic geometry to its relevance in kinematics. Furthermore, the formal concept of the derivative, its main rules, and applications are discussed, highlighting its importance as a tool for analyzing the motion of bodies.Item O uso do aplicativo Fraction Challenger na aprendizagem de frações(2025-07-08) Gusmão, Thyago Silva de; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947The implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education, especially in the area of mathematics, has proven to be a powerful ally in the teaching-learning process. This Final Course Work (TCC) aims to explore and encourage the use of ICT in mathematics teaching, in light of TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), which offers a theoretical framework for the effective implementation of these technologies. The specific objectives are: to map dissertations and theses that discuss the use of Minecraft in basic education; to identify the content that has been worked on with Minecraft in the classroom context; and to verify which learning theories have been associated with the dissertations and theses published between 2014 and 2023. To achieve this, a qualitative research with a bibliographic mapping approach was conducted, selecting theses and dissertations through the databases of the CAPES Thesis and Dissertation Bank and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The searches, carried out on October 1st and 2nd, 2024, utilized the search string "Minecraft." Inclusion and exclusion criteria were established to ensure that the selected works were relevant to Mathematics, basic education, and the use of Minecraft in the educational context. The selection process was divided into two stages: in the first, exclusion criteria were applied based on titles and abstracts; in the second, complete texts were analyzed to verify their adherence to the research scope. The six analyzed studies, all focused on Elementary School 2, addressed content related to geometry and proportionality, highlighting challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, lack of teacher expertise, and limitations of the game's creative mode. However, positive aspects were also noted, such as the promotion of a collaborative environment and increased student interest. The results indicate that Minecraft has the potential to enhance Mathematics teaching, provided it is associated with ongoing teacher training and innovative pedagogical practices.Item Matemática versus pedagogia: uma análise acerca das disciplinas na área da matemática ofertadas nos cursos de pedagogia de Instituições Públicas e Privadas no Estado de Alagoas(2022-01-18) Rodrigues Filho, Marcos Santos; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2811899043438299; Limeira, Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646; Reis, Divanir Maria de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9955165966530603Understanding the teaching of Mathematics in the early years of Elementary School is a challenge for any researcher. There is a complexity in this environment that, only through extensive studies, one would understand what guides the feeling of seeing this discipline as challenging. Numerous scholars have made their analyzes and this work will approach them by linking their research with the disciplines in the area of Mathematics offered in the Pedagogy courses of public and private institutions in the state of Alagoas. Parallel to these researches and syllabuses of these disciplines, I will base myself on the BNCC, which will be our reference for analyzing this problem. In this way, the present work will bring an analysis about the disciplines in the area of Mathematics offered in the Pedagogy courses of public and private institutions in the state of Alagoas associating such disciplines to the BNCC with a direct relationship to documents researched on the internet in a conception I experienced in classroom. Notably, this work is a qualitative research, allowing to understand the complexity and details of the information obtained. This analysis sought to be carried out due to the need to understand the challenges that teachers in the early years face in approaching the teaching of Mathematics in the classroom and the non-understanding of the contents on the part of pedagogues and students, and brought as a result this concern that is significant for understanding the possible origins that limit some of these subjects in terms of teaching and learning. Private Higher Education Institutions were chosen randomly and I was not successful in the search for the menus of specific disciplines in the area of Mathematics, whereas the public ones were purposeful, achieving success in accessing the menus.Item O TANGRAM enquanto material didático para o aprendizado de conceitos e cálculo de área no ensino de matemática(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2010-01-31) Santos Neto, Adelmo Francisco dos; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Oliveira, Elisabete Duarte de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7781886522973384; Rodrigues, Gracino Francisco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6448071433328182The use of instruments that play a role in teaching are quite important, for several reasons, among them, the motivation they cause in the student. As a strategy for this, one can employ pedagogical games, bringing the subject closer to the scientific content. Among the games used can be mentioned the Tangram. For the analysis will be used the interaction between algebraic development and geometric construction, through the use of the game TANGRAM relating the concept and the calculation of areas of flat figures. The study aims to analyze the use of the game "TANGRAM" as a didactic resource in teaching learning in the concept and in the calculation of area of flat figures. As for the method, it is a qualitative research, through the application of a questionnaire, the technique is the case study. The subjects of the research are students of the 6th year of elementary school Ana Coelho Palmeira State School Teacher. It is concluded that the gameTangram actually helps, as it assists the student in thinking about how to work out the resolution of the question, through observation. Therefore, in the study, some deficiencies in the use of the game can not be detected, and the student can not identify the areas of the figures, among others, so that if they perceive defictis in learning in the mathematical discipline, how not to apply the sequence to solve the question , suggested by some authors in this study when dealing with problem solving.Item Prancha para gráficos: uma ferramenta didática para o ensino de função Afim(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-31) Santa Bárbara, Mirian Andreza Rosa de; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Santos, José Roberto Nunes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2776939893721016Manipulative materials allow students to understand mathematical concepts in a more visible way, building knowledge in an active and collaborative way, developing socio- emotional skills, creativity and autonomy. And as a general objective of the study, we sought to present an analysis of the use of manipulable teaching material to teach Related Function, aiming to provide students with more meaningful and dynamic learning. And as a guiding question for the study, we ask: How to improve the teaching and learning of Affine Function in the mathematics discipline using Graphics Boards as manipulable teaching material? The teaching material used in our research was the Graphic Board, a material designed and developed during the Mathematics Teaching Laboratory V subject, offered in the Mathematics Degree course at IFAL Maceió. The study presents a bibliographical and field review on the possibilities and diversity of manipulable materials for Mathematics Teaching, along with a proposal on how to use the board for graphics in the classroom. The proposal was applied to a 1st year class of Integrated Technical High School, at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maceió campus, in order to analyze the benefits that activities with manipulable materials offer. Using this manipulative material to teach Affine Function brings numerous advantages for students, in addition to providing more interesting and engaging learning. In view of this, it was found that with the use of this manipulable resource, the teaching and learning process of the Related Function became much more dynamic and participatory, allowing students to understand the content in a pleasurable way and with greater ease.Item Geometria analítica: panorama histórico e algumas aplicações(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-07) Tenório, Marcos José da Silva; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Lopes, Rafael do Sacramento; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2775224211896509Analytical geometry is the area of mathematics that studies geometric structures from an algebraic perspective in which its studies are used in contexts involving coordinates. Some historians of mathematics credit René Descartes with the discovery of analytical geometry. Starting from this brief context, this work aimed to historically address the emergence and evolution of Analytical Geometry and its implications for the construction and development of mathematical knowledge. As a methodology, there is a bibliographical review carried out through books and studies available in databases, which initially reveals the importance of analytical geometry as a curricular component of undergraduate courses in the exact sciences, such as Engineering, Computer Science, and of Mathematics, in addition to its relevance as a necessary tool for Differential and Integral Calculus and being one of the main references in a first linear algebra course. As Analytical Geometry originated in the midst of problems faced by humanity, such as the discovery of irrational numbers, incommensurable numbers, Zeno's paradoxes, the method of exhaustion, the idea of continuity, philosophical questions and religious beliefs, it is considered to be It is important that the teaching of analytical geometry permeates historical events, proposing the proposal to build knowledge and not just solve algorithms.Item Equações diferenciais ordinárias de segunda ordem: uma abordagem analítica e com o software GeoGebra(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-30) Lima, Jonathan Willams Lins de Ataide; Lima, Leon Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616688310117461; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Silva Júnior, Rinaldo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9156830519836354; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700Models involving Ordinary Second Order Differential Equations are present in several problems in various areas of Exact and Earth Sciences, through applications in fluid mechanics, heat conduction, electrical circuits and electromagnetic phenomena. In this sense, the present work presents a study on these equations, covering the fundamental concepts of first-order to second-order equations. Throughout the development of the work, with the exception of the analysis via GeoGebra, the independent variable was time, so that we could also cover Physics students, considering that in general all physical models are based on this parameter. For the application, we brought two problems involving mathematical modeling, the first being a model for detecting diabetes and the other involving a series circuit RLC. Initially, we carried out an analytical analysis of the two problems, detailing how all the calculations were made, and the other was carried out using a applet created in software GeoGebra during a technological initiation project developed at Instituto Federal de Alagoas - Campus Maceió, with the aim of students being able to combine the theoretical part with the practical part. Understanding the solution methods is an important step during the process of teaching and learning differential equations, considering that it was only possible to develop this interactive window by understanding how these methods work. We concluded, from the analysis of the problems, that the use of technology aimed at education provides students with a new learning environment through interactivity and experimentation with different scenarios.Item Relações métricas no triângulo retângulo: abordagem histórica e uma proposta de ensino utilizando-se material didático manipulável(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-10) Silva, Josivan Amorim da; Santos, Carlos Alberto Silva dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0652008937509693; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Santos, Carlos Alberto Silva dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0652008937509693; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422The purpose of this study is to present a brief historical approach to the Pythagorean Theorem and its metric relations, who derive from it, and to present a didactic proposal using manipulative didactic material. Understanding of concepts related to metric relations, through the interaction of geometric construction with algebraic development. Difficulties related to solving mathematical problems in basic education are known. It is believed that the lack of understanding of basic concepts is defining when it comes to learning. In this line of reasoning, the interaction between algebraic development and geometric construction will be used, seeking to understand specific theorems related to metric relations of the right triangle and their applications in everyday life. In our discussion, we will emphasize the metric relationships and the existing relationship between the square of the leg and the product of the hypotenuse by the projection of that leg, always seeking to highlight the concept of area, due to its importance in solving practical everyday problems. We aim for this approach to facilitate, both students and teachers, the understanding of the geometric concepts that determine these relationships and not rely only on ready-made “formulas”. It is hoped that our discussion can provoke reflections in relation to the teaching practice of future mathematics teachers. And that will also contribute to the differentiated training of undergraduate students in Mathematics, collaborating with a closer relationship with the academic reality of the students.Item Uma análise dos números reais sob o olhar do professor de matemática no ensino básico(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-05) Silva, Danilva Claudia Alvino da; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Silva, Gilmar Teodozio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7311803942000051; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422This work attempts to encourage students of major in Mathematics to give more importance to the Study of real numbers as a way of being future teachers aware of transmitting the clearest and most objective content to Basic Education students, especially to the subject that deals with the origin of irrational numbers. The unwillingness of some teachers to talk about real number theory and history leads the student to believe that they exist by chance, wlich leads students to accept ready-made formulas. In some cases the teacher itself omits this topic, without attaching much importance to learning, and many students finish high school without knowing why real(ou irrational?) numbers exist and go unnoticed as to how the set of real numbers can be described. The main aim of this work is a critical study of real numbers, from the point of view of a mathematics teacher, this ondergraduate student herself, based on experiences lived in the school career, which can be seen that many undergraduates in mathematics also face a lot of difficulty in trying to understand a subject that seems simple at first, but there are several divergences, as a result, we will analyze the ideal procedures that suit our reality in mathematics teaching, as well as propose to future teachers ways of passing the content to students in a didactic and comprehensive approach, offering students a deeper view of the subject, so they may enjoy the proposed content. Work, uses bibliographic research and a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographic approach, in an explanatory way.Item Dando sentido a equações do segundo grau a partir do uso do material dourado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-29) Almeida, Igor Carlos Alvim de; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dosIn this present work, applied at Theonilo Gama State School, located in the Jacintinho neighborhood in Maceió-AL, where I participated in the Pedagogical Residency program by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maceió campus. In classes “A” and “D” of the 3rd grade of high school, we are going to demystify the difficulty that some students had when faced with the subject of high school equations, in which the covid-19 pandemic classes at school were very affected and these students had great difficulty in solving both first and second degree equations. In order to resolve the doubts on the subject, we used the golden material to apply and solve the quadratic equations, in which another possibility of finding the roots of polynomials was demonstrated, associating the algebraic part with the geometric part, through the manipulation of this object. Through the use of this instrument, it was possible to develop the skills and abilities necessary to understand the relationships discussed in the classroom and to find roots of a quadratic equation, as well as the sides of a rectangle formed by the pieces of golden material. Hence, the reflections on the development of the algebraic structure in the geometric construction made in the classroom, where using manipulative materials for teaching and learning helps to understand the meanings and solve problem- situations.
