Item A educação escolar e a formação de dirigentes: espaços de formação política das lideranças estudantis do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-01) Oliveira, Hellen Carolyne Barbosa de; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Hollerbach, Dra. Joana D’Arc Germano; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5888935341011338The process of political education in the school context is hampered by ideological disputes and conflicting conceptions. Based on the understanding that the ethical-political dimension is an inseparable part of an emancipatory human education, which guarantees students their insertion in social life through full access to cultural assets produced throughout the history of humanity, this research addresses the formation of student leaders and the organization of spaces for political education in Professional and Technological Education, taking as a focus the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Its objective is to analyze the process of organizing a pedagogical space in Integrated High School aimed at political education through the organization of student events. The methodological premise of the research is the qualitative-quantitative approach, of the participatory, exploratory and applied research type developed in four stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic review was carried out on themes that permeated the construction of the research, such as political education in the school space and the development of student leaders. The second stage consisted of conducting a diagnosis, which occurred through active observation of the campus under study and the application of a questionnaire to the research participants, students who participate in student representation spaces. In the third stage, a prototype of the educational product was developed, which consists of an instructional guide for students on organizing events. The last stage corresponded to the application and evaluation of the developed educational product. To analyze the data obtained from the application and evaluation of the educational product, content analysis and descriptive statistics were used. The result was the design of a didactic/instructional guide on organizing events for students, as a proposal for structuring a formal space in Integrated High School that contributes to the work of political formation and development of student leadership. The research evidenced the lack of material on organizing events adapted for students, despite it being a recurring activity in the times and school spaces of Professional and Technological Education, which relies on the active participation and direction of student leaders. It was observed that the lack of systematized knowledger students about the event activity limited the experimentation of these spaces through intuitive learning or from previous experiences with other organizers. Ingeneral, based on the participants' evaluation of the material created, there was a prevalence of high acceptance in relation to its contribution to the proposed purpose.Item A participação de pais ou responsáveis nos processos de gestão da educação profissional e tecnológica do Ifal(2023) Alencar, Rendrikson Gonçalves; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Gomes, Maria das Graças Correia; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de OliveiraThe theme of this study is the participation of parents or guardians in management processes at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is an applied research project that aims to systematize educational practices for management work within the scope of Ifal. Located in the Teaching Area and developed in the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the research line Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in EPT, it takes a methodological perspective with a qualitative approach. The universe of analysis is made up of the parents or guardians of students and the staff of the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams of two Ifal campuses located in the Sertão Alagoano Mesoregion. The methodological procedure used was documentary and bibliographic research and the application of structured questionnaires in three stages: I) Diagnostic research into the spaces for participation by parents or guardians in management and the management practices carried out at Ifal; II) Definition and development of the educational prototype/product; III) Application, testing and evaluation of the Prototype. When evaluating the product, the participants considered the quality of the material, its suitability for the profile of the target audience and the relevance of the content presented. The results of the discussion led to the creation of an Educational Product for evaluation by staff from the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams, with the aim of using it as a training tool for parents or guardians. The results of the study indicate that it is still necessary to develop information and training channels that promote the participation of parents or guardians in the management of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), so that the spaces guaranteed in institutional regulations strengthen democratic and participatory management.Item Alimentação escolar e sustentabilidade: compostagem como método de (re)aproveitamento dos resíduos orgânicos produzidos no refeitório do Ifal - Campus Batalha(2021) Mélo, Thaisa Martins Porto de Souza; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Oliveira, Maria Alice Araújo; Pereira, Álvaro Itaúna Schalcher; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da SilvaThis investigation is linked to the research line Educational Practices in EPT and the macroproject Methodological proposals and didactic resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT aims to develop sustainable practices in order to sensitize students and other segments of the school community to issues related to environmental, economical and social sustainability. The main objective is to promote the practice of composting as a method of (re)using organic waste produced in the IFAL cafeteria - Campus Batalha, using it as a didactic-pedagogical element in the articulation between theory and practice with an end to meaningful learning. Composting is considered one of the most effective technologies in the management of organic waste and should allow the integration between different curricular components, such as, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Waste Management. In this sense, an educational product (EP) will be prepared in the form of an e-book that systematizes the workshops with the following themes: Brazilian National School Food Program (PNAE) and sustainability, problematization about the culture of waste and the hegemonic productive system and composting as a practice of (re)use of organic waste. The EP must be developed from pedagogical practices with a dialogical and problematizing perspective, in order to contribute to an integrated training in the context of Professional and Technological Education (PTE). The research is characterized by a qualitative approach of action-research type and the methodological instruments applied for the diagnosis of this research were the semi-structured questionnaires, carried out with the students of the 3rd grade of the Integrated High School to the Agribusiness Technician and collaborating professors. The results obtained point to the importance of PNAE in guaranteeing the human right to adequate food, which, associated with the practice of composting, presents itself as an important step towards sustainable development. Added to this, composting was identified as an instrument of articulation between theory and practice with a focus on interdisciplinarity.Item Book Trailer: uma ferramenta de aprendizagem significativa para desenvolver a competência leitora por meio da multimodalidade e da tradução intersemiótica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-04-25) Santos, Verônica Ribeiro dos; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This study aimed to investigate the pedagogical potential of the book trailer—a short video inspired by the logic of movie trailers—as a didactic tool for developing reading competence in the context of professional and technological education. The research was conducted with students from a technical course integrated into high school at the Federal Institute of Bahia, through the application of a didactic sequence composed of six workshops. Grounded in theories of multimodal reading, multiliteracies, intersemiotic translation, intermediality, active methodologies, and meaningful learning, the study analysed how literary mediation through digital information and communication technologies can promote more meaningful, critical, and contextualized reading practices. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using coding and thematic analysis, from which three main themes emerged: (1) understanding multimodal language and intersemiotic translation; (2) the use of digital technologies in literature teaching; and (3) experience with active methodologies and meaningful learning. The results indicated that the book trailer appears to foster student engagement, increase interest in literary reading, and enable meaning-making through the articulation of linguistic, aesthetic, and technological resources. The research also highlights the challenges of implementing such practices in public education contexts, including material and time constraints, but suggests feasible paths for their replication and expansion. It is concluded that the book trailer, as a practice of reading and intersemiotic translation, can contribute to reading skills in technological education, aligning with the contemporary demands of critical and multimodal education.Item Contribuições dos técnicos administrativos em educação nos processos de inclusão na educação profissional e tecnológica(2021) Alves, Hérlei Mariano Martins; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Hummel, Eromi Izabel; Silva, Géssika Cecília Carvalho da; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de AlmeidaThis research, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT / Ifal), is based on the theme of school inclusion, in an educational perspective that aims to overcome the inequalities and exclusion marks that have historically characterized Brazilian education. In this sense, the main part of this investigation is analyzed as contributions of administrative technicians in education in the processes of inclusion in Professional and Technological Education, offering, as an Educational Product, a course on school inclusion for administrative technicians in education at Ifal / Santana do Ipanema campus. From a methodological point of view, the investigation is affiliated with a qualitative approach, anchored in the methodology of action research. In the diagnostic stage, through a semi-structured questionnaire, the mapping of the investigated context involved the participation of 24 administrative technicians in education, located on the Ifal campus in Santana do Ipanema, and 11 administrative technicians in education, located in another five Ifal campuses. Then, the Educational Product was elaborated, materialized in a course on school inclusion, which was applied to 20 administrative technicians in education from Ifal, 14 from the Santana do Ipanema campus and 06 with representation from five other Ifal fields. After application, the Educational Product was submitted to the evaluation of the research participants, taking into account the methodological assumptions of action research, with its collaborative character. The data in the literature survey revealed that studies on inclusion, for the most part, look at the teacher-student relationship and disregard the educational work carried out in school spaces other than the classroom. However, as reflections raised during this investigation demonstrate that there are, within the scope of Ifal, privileged institutional spaces in the promotion and promotion of inclusive policies. These spaces allow administrative technicians in education to act in the inclusion processes. In this sense, the results indicate the importance of considering a pedagogical dimension in the performance of the administrative technician in education, ensuring, in turn, training in the perspective of school inclusion.Item Direito do trabalho e previdenciário na educação profissional e tecnológica em uma perspectiva contra-hegemôminica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-07-15) Lima Filho, Noé Higino de; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3106780553307514Acquiring knowledge related to Labor and Social Security Law is fundamentally important for strengthening professional relationships, as these legal fields protect citizens and ensure safeguards against potential abuses in labor relations. This study aimed to analyze whether pre- graduating students from Federal Institutes have access to knowledge of Labor and Social Security Law before entering the job market, as well as to verify whether there are mechanisms in place to protect them from possible exploitation within the capitalist system. In this context, the research investigates how the Integrated High School (Ensino Médio Integrado – EMI) curriculum addresses basic labor rights, such as the FGTS (Severance Indemnity Fund), paid vacation, 13th salary, sick leave, maternity leave, among other rights. The study falls within the research line "Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)" and is aligned with the macroproject "Organization of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT." The investigation is developed under a critical lens of the labor market and its insatiable demand for the training and qualification of those who intend to enter it. This work analyzes the legal knowledge provided within EMI and whether it effectively prepares students to engage in the workforce beyond the interests of capital. As a methodological approach, the research adopts a quanti-qualitative perspective, using action research and semi-structured questionnaires applied to final-year students of the Agricultural Technical Course at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – IFAL – Satuba Campus. The research involved documentary and bibliographic analysis and was conducted in five stages: (I) Diagnostic research with students in the classroom; (II) Analysis of diagnostic data; (III) Definition and development of the educational product; (IV) Presentation of the product and application of an evaluation questionnaire; (V) Analysis of the evaluation data collected. The study confirmed the lack of practical legal education in Labor and Social Security Law for pre-graduating students at IFAL. In response, an educational booklet was developed, grounded in Paulo Freire’s pedagogical concepts and aiming to implement David Ausubel’s theory of meaningful learning. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the educational product in contributing to the formation of critically aware students, from high school through professional life, aligned with EMI’s proposal of omnilateral education in a counter-hegemonic perspective — not only preparing students to enter the job market, but also to defend themselves within it, equipped with the knowledge of what awaits them after graduation.Item Documentário vida e formação: autobiografias educativas de estudantes concluintes do ensino médio integrado do Ifal- Campus Maceió(2025) Santos, Lídia Maria da Silva; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; Santos, Lúcia de FátimaThis dissertation presents the results of a master's degree research project within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the Educational Practices in EPT Line, with the objective of establishing, through the production of a documentary, relationships between the curriculum, the world of work and the life projects of students of Integrated High School of the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education, in order to contribute to the integral formation, resulting in critical and reflective citizens in the face of the reality experienced, capable of “linguistically achieving specific objectives in particular social situations” (Marcuschi, 2010, p. 31). To this end, we developed a didactic sequence (Zabala, 2010; Schneuwly and Dolz, 2004) whose objective was the production of Educational Autobiographies (Josso, 2014), since biographical narratives contribute to the understanding of the processes of formation, knowledge and learning. The methodology adopted is qualitative, following the action research method, based on Thiollent (2011), Ibiapina (2008), Pimenta (2005). The research site was the Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Campus Maceió. The participants were students from a third-year class of the Electronics Technical Course Integrated into High School and the respective teacher in charge of the class, in addition to teachers who teach the Portuguese Language component in the integrated high school, who participated as evaluators of the Educational Product developed through the research. The data collection and production instruments used were: characterization and evaluation questionnaires, notes and field diaries; text productions made by the students during the research, in addition to audio and video recordings. These data were analyzed through the autobiographical method, in addition to categories that were accessed based on studies of Applied Linguistics. The Educational Autobiographies of the participating students generally present their educational path from their entry into Ifal - Maceió Campus until the moment they produced their narratives and revealed issues related to the following categories: 1) Diversity of experiences lived throughout the ongoing education; 2) Challenges of the school transition between elementary and high school integrated with professional and technological training; 3) The influence of the family as a determining factor for academic and professional success; 4) Personal maturity; 5) School as the path to a better future. Some participants also presented, in their Educational Autobiographies, signs of transformation, called pivotal moments (Josso, 2014), which stand out for marking significant ruptures and transformations in the personal, academic and/or professional trajectories of the participants. The result was the creation of the Documentary “Life and Training”, an Educational Product from the perspective of the Educational Practices line, with the aim of contributing to the integration of Portuguese language teaching and training for the world of work, in order to contribute to the integral human development of high school students.Item Educação em saúde no Instituto Federal de Alagoas: um estudo sobre a organização de espaços pedagógicos e ações educativas em um campus do agreste alagoano(2024) Cavalcante, Silvana Medeiros Costa; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; Silva, Jaqueline Maria daThe dissertation's theme is Health Education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas: a study on the organization of pedagogical spaces and educational actions on a campus in rural Alagoas and is the result of applied research that aimed to develop didactic/instructional material on the processes of organization of educational spaces and health education actions carried out by professionals from the Student Assistance Team. Located in the area of teaching, the research assumed a methodological perspective guided by action research with a qualitative approach, having as its universe of analysis the spaces of activity of Ifal Student Assistance. The research was developed in three stages: I) diagnostic stage of the Student Assistance Team profile, where information was collected about the health education spaces and practices on the Campus, through a structured questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with these professionals and consulted Institutional documents such as the Student Assistance Policy, among others; II) stage of proposing and developing instructional teaching material, aimed at systematizing health education spaces and practices, involving professionals from the Student Assistance Team; III) stage was application with testing and evaluation of the educational product by the aforementioned Ifal Team. The results of the application were systematized based on three categories of analysis, which evaluated the aesthetics and organization, writing and criticality of the Educational Product, obtaining positive results from more than 80% of participants. Despite the limitations of the research and the educational product developed, the positive evaluation of the Guide was accompanied by a sign towards the adoption of the guide as a technology for mediating the organization and carrying out health education actions by the teams that followed and participated in the research .Item Etnozootecnia como proposta de valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais em EPT(2021-08-27) Silva, Washington Luis Santos da; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Silva, Ana Paula Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3016801941244964This work is an ethno-technical study that was developed in the city of Palmeira dos Índios and region with the objective of collecting knowledge about the traditional use in the breeding of domestic animals. 100 semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data were collected for characterization of the participating subject as well as regional methods and customs for animal husbandry (cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, teals, rabbits, horses, dogs and cats). Participating subjects had an average age of 40-50 years and a balanced number of men and women, most of them illiterate or with low education with current or past activity related to agriculture or animal husbandry. Knowledge is fundamentally of traditional origin and is still frequently applied today, but if not registered there is a risk that knowledge will be lost in the face of scientific tests. The most common knowledge was the use of medicines of plant origin and the use of prayers and prayers (still persisting superstitions in supernatural beings such as the redneck and the like). In animals, treatment occurs in skin wounds and worms. The application of this knowledge can contribute to the appreciation of empirical knowledge still in use in these rural communities and pass on mainly to students of technical courses in the field of Agrarian Sciences.Item Formação humana integral e currículo integrado: o debate crítico sobre o sistema de justiça brasileiro em material paradidático no ensino médio(2021) Leite, Rafael Félix; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Costa, Elaine Cristina Pimentel; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Gaia, Rossana VianaThis research, carried out in the context of the Technological and Professional Education Postgraduate Program (ProfEPT/Ifal), aims mainly to identify the treatment in the debate about prison system on instructional materials and in Sociology classes in the Instituto Federal de Alagoas (Ifal), specifically on the Maceió Campus, and to propose supplementary educational materials for the Integrated Technical Teaching, directly linked to the programmatic content of the referred curricular component. Related to that goal, this work intends to amplify the knowledge about the prison system and the forms of workforce in contemporary society by acknowledging the penal labor. Thereafter, to qualify this discussion by means of the construction of Reflexive Notebook, at the same time as it proposes to collaborate in order to overcome stigmas and prejudices that fall upon the naturalization of inequalities historically constituted and experienced by the population deprived of liberty. For such, this study has made use of the qualitative method approach, the Investigación- Acción- Participante type, by Fals Borda, the principle of Intellectual Craftmanship by Wright Mills, and the integral human development as a common thread throughout the whole process. At first, we have performed previous literature review and, in the diagnostic stage, we have applied questionnaires to ten professors of Sociology from different Ifal campuses, we have interviewed five professors of Sociology from the Maceió Campus and we have applied questionnaires to twelve students of the Estradas course from the Maceió Campus. With these data, we have elaborated the previous version of the Reflexive Notebook. This material has been validated by four researchers of the topic covered and by ten professors of Sociology from the Ifal. We evaluate that this Notebook may qualify the discussion on the prison system and enable reflexive spaces in the classroom, which represent an effort in overcoming social inequalities.Item Ginástica laboral da educação profissional e tecnológica: possibilidades de um vídeo educativo(2022-10-20) Silva, Aline Rose Santos Vieira da; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5204293561529304; ; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Lima Filho , Adalberon Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5204293561529304; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Silva, Everton Joventino da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3243332888358206Psychological diseases have emerged, drawing attention due to the way they interfere in people's lives, affecting the individual's quality of life, mainly in its physical, psychological, social and emotional aspects. Although it emerged with the aim of preventing accidents and occupational diseases, Labor Gymnastics has been widely used as a promoter of physical and mental health and used in different contexts. In the educational context, it is still very restricted to academic research, lacking more effective actions, given its benefits to the physical and psychological health of the student. This research discusses the elaboration of an Educational Product and was guided by the problem-question: how to elaborate an Educational Product in the form of an educational video on Labor Gymnastics, which can be used by any student enrolled in technical courses integrated into high school as a strategy of stress prevention and control? In this way, the objective was to analyze the possibilities of inclusion of Labor Gymnastics in Technical Courses Integrated to High School. The research methodology is qualitative action-research type. The subjects of the research were the students of the Integrated High School of IFAL, Campus Satuba. The data collection instruments were: a diagnostic questionnaire and an Educational Product (EP) evaluation questionnaire. To analyze the data we use the technique of Content Analysis. The analyzes were organized by categories, as follows: diagnostic questionnaire - 1) student profile; 2) student occupation activities; 3) Relationship between health and school activities; 4) Student leisure activities; Educational Product assessment questionnaire – 1) self-perception; 2) content relevance; 3) clarity in approach and content; 4) dynamics. The results of the diagnostic questionnaire showed positive results in relation to the guiding question of the research, insofar as they served to guide the construction of the NP. The results obtained through the Educational Product evaluation questionnaire showed that physical activity is among the activities most often cited by students in stress control, so we believe that Labor Gymnastics can present itself as an effective strategy to beexplored in the context school as a management in the control of student stress. We also highlight that video is a didactic resource that has elements (language, duration, clarity, dynamics, content approach, sound, image) that, when well explored, can transmit information effectively. In addition, the weaknesses highlighted, related to dynamics, may contribute to future studies that use video as a resource, as they will indicate elements that need to be improved and better explored.Item Identidades LGBTQIA+ silenciadas: rodas de conversa sobre diversidade sexual e de gênero na educação profissional e tecnológica(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-07-29) Barros , Roberto Idalino; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa Cavalcanti; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Veras, Elias Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9237266972750779; Nascimento Neto, Luiz Domingos do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5705008568259147The students’ sexual and gender diversity is one of the issues that has emerged in the school in recent times, especially in the last two decades. In this sense, studies are essential to analyze how the school space, especially in high school vocational education, has been facing this issue in terms of reflection, curriculum and inclusion. Aspects linked to sexual and gender diversity, when not considered in the school context, can represent a form of exclusion (JUNQUEIRA, 2009; BENTO, 2011). In this context, the objective of this study is to enable spaces for discussions involving LGBTQIA+ identities in formal teaching contexts in Vocational and Technological Education from the formation of conversation circles, with a view to producing an Educational Product. This theme is directly linked to the transversality of the school curriculum in the modality of Vocational and Technological Education, since it has as its core the perspective of critical-emancipatory education (RAMOS, 2014; PACHECO, 2011). A study with such a focus is relevant to reflect and propose a curriculum and a school that aims to include diversity in their teaching programs (MISKOLCI, 2012; PELÚCIO, 2014). Thus, the research had a qualitative approach, whose method is the action research, based on authors such as Thiollent (2007), Barbier (2002) and Tripp (2005). The methodological procedures included bibliographical research, documental research and field research. One of the main research techniques used was the Conversation Circles with the voluntary participants, involving students and assistance technicians with a view to capturing their voices for the development of an Educational Product. Instruments such as profile-questionnaires, applied to teachers, students and technical-assistance staff, and satisfaction questionnaires also comprised the data collection. As a result, we found that there is a gap between the regulations that guide the inclusion of the theme of sexual and gender diversity in the curriculum and in its effective practice; all claim the need for a more systematic approach to this issue in the institution's curriculum; and, still, the application of the Educational Product, together with the segments participating in the research, proved its effectiveness in terms of promoting systematic debates in this regard.Item Mecanismos de promoção da permanência e da conclusão com êxito na educação de jovens e adultos: proposta de catálogo de ações no Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-09-12) Peixoto, Silvana Kelly Coimbra; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Barros, Abdizia Maria Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8978186925444582The study set out to investigate the mechanisms for promoting the permanence and successful completion of students in Youth and Adult Education integrated with Professional and Technological Education (EJA/EPT) at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) as a pedagogical process of knowledge, belonging and the development of students' autonomy, in order to encourage their participation in teaching, research and extension activities. The objective is to understand how the mechanisms for promoting permanence and successful completion affect the learning processes of students in Youth and Adult Education Integrated with Professional and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. The specific objectives are to identify, by listening to the various voices involved in the research, whether there is any form of denial/exclusion of EJA/EPT students in the student assistance policy and in teaching, research and extension actions; to analyze the knowledge that EJA/EPT students have about the mechanisms for promoting permanence and successful completion; verify the existence of teaching practices that promote the interest and participation of EJA/EPT students in teaching, research and extension actions; produce a catalog to disseminate actions to promote the permanence and successful completion of EJA-EPT students and, apply and evaluate the educational product — catalog. This study presents a catalog that provides EJA/EPT students with an educational product that, in addition to arousing interest, presents the paths and brings them closer to teaching, research and extension actions. This is a qualitative investigation, using participatory action research as a methodological perspective, whose data collection instruments were a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Content analysis was used to analyze the data collected. Students and teachers from the EJA/EPT and Administrative Technician took part in the research, with the Marechal Deodoro Campus school space as the locus in the Integrated High School Technical Course for Youth and Adult Education in Accommodation and the Integrated High School Technical Course for Youth and Adult Education in Cookery. The conclusion is that the objectives of the research have been achieved, in that the mechanisms for promoting permanence and success are essential for the learning of EJA/EPT students to take place, and the Educational Product as a means of publicizing and arousing interest in participating in actions for permanence and success.Item O ensino de filosofia na educação profissional e tecnológica: produção de uma história em quadrinhos para o ensino de lógica(2021-08-06) Silva, Daniel Oliveira da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Santos, Janayna Paula Lima de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1756972365624957; Costa, David Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5393340009943598The COMICS have been used as a didactic-pedagogical instrument in different areas of knowledge, however in the area of philosophy, they are still little used. Thus, the main objective of this research is to develop an educational product (a comic book magazine), which through playful activities can contribute to the educational process and omnilateral human education of the student in Professional and Technological Education in the curricular component of Philosophy in Integrated High School, in the context of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas -IFAL. The investigative study is qualitative in nature and of the action research type, whose methodological instrument includes the closed questionnaire, whose results will enable a proposal of a comic book for better learning of philosophical concepts by students in the philosophy classes of the studied course and the improvement of our teaching practice in teaching this curricular component.Item O livro-jogo e o desenvolvimento da formação humana integral de estudantes da EJA EPT (PROEJA)(2024) Beirouti, Mayara Romeiro Lins; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Souza; Maraschin, Mariglei SeveroDeveloped within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), this research aimed to reflect on the relationship between students’ world knowledge and school knowledge in the EJA EPT (PROEJA) program, as well as the implications of this relationship for the comprehensive human development of these students. Situated within the Research Line “Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education” and the Macroproject “Inclusion and Diversity in Formal and Non-formal Education Spaces in EPT,” the study is qualitative in nature, of the participatory type, with data collection instruments including questionnaires and interviews. The research participants were students in the first term, or module, of the Technical Course in Culinary Arts, in the EJA EPT modality, offered at IFAL, Marechal Deodoro campus. From a theoretical standpoint, the study was based on curriculum theories, integrated curriculum, and comprehensive human education. Based on the analysis of data obtained from interviews and questionnaires, it was identified that there are areas of knowledge not yet mastered by these individuals, and that such knowledge is not addressed in the school curriculum, despite the pedagogical work inherent to EJA EPT. The research culminated in the development of an Educational Product (EP), designed as a game-book, which will allow EJA students to access this knowledge — previously left out of their educational processes — and may contribute to the development of their comprehensive human education.Item O lugar da mulher na educação profissional e tecnológica: discriminação de gênero no estágio e no trabalho em Alagoas(2022) Cerqueira, Paulete Constantino; Silva, Edel Alexandre; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; Bueno, Juliana Dourado; Silva, Géssika Cecília Carvalho da; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de SousaThis research emerged from the researcher‟s personal experience, as a woman and a psychologist, and from the vision of the place of women in education and work as fundamental to society. Its realization took place in the school environment of the Instituto Federal de Alagoas (Ifal) - Campus São Miguel dos Campos and its main objective was to understand the experience of women as students in a Technical Course in a traditionally male area and to identify gender discrimination in their entry into the world of work. Its research subjects are students of the Workplace Safety Technical (WST) Course and servers. The investigative study is characterized as action research, of a qualitative-quantitative nature and, as research techniques, questionnaires and conversation circles were used. The first stage – the diagnostic phase – consisted of the application of semi-structured questionnaires, carried out in a virtual way. The second stage took place with the realization of virtual conversation circles, with students and servers as participants. With the material from the conversation circles, the third stage was carried out, the execution of the educational product, a podcast named The Place of Women in Professional and Technological Education, in the Internship and in the Work. It was sent to the servers by e-mail, along with an evaluation questionnaire, and had also been presented for a WST Course students‟ class. The podcast was considered relevant to discuss gender discrimination in the school community and will be shown on campuses, inside and/or outside the classroom, in order to stimulate a discussion about gender issues in Ifal and in society. With this disclosure, the research also seeks to contribute to the debate at Ifal, focusing on gender issues and work as an educational principle. The conclusion points to the occurrence of gender discrimination and the need to expand research involving this theme and Professional and Technological Education.Item Projetos de extensão: aporte para a formação humana integral(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-05-23) Gomes, Jacqueline; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3281-612X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3281-612X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Machado, Cristiane Brito; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2326-715X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8900177927669355; Santos, Sanádia Gama dos; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3001-1889; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9251665509410894This research provides a reflection on the contribution of Extension Projects to integral human education, bearing in mind that the inseparability between Teaching, Research and Extension is one of the philosophical and technical-methodological principles that guide academic practices at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas (IFAL). The general objective was to analyze the participation of IFAL students and staff in Extension Projects, in a conception of integral human professional and technological education, which promotes inclusion, the development of students' creativity and autonomy and also the use of other training spaces and integrated practices, from the perspective of Extension as a training dimension. The methodology used was qualitative, collaborative action research, according to Ivana Maria Lopes de Melo Ibiapina (2008) and Laurence Bardin (2011). Semi-structured interviews were carried out with 35 people in the context of different territories covered by IFAL, based on the assumptions of critical historical theory, according to Odilon Roble (2012) and Paul Thompson (1998). In addition, a survey was carried out of data related to Extension from 2019 to 2025 at IFAL and a documentary analysis of the PDI, PPPI and some institutional regulations. This research resulted in an Educational Product (EP). The EP is an Extension Worker's Diary based on the speeches of the participants, students and extension workers, with the aim of sensitizing IFAL students to the importance of participating in Extension Projects for their education. Furthermore, this EP will be able to subsidize managers, extension coordinators in the teaching units, extension project supervisors and teachers in Integrated High School Technical courses in relation to extension activities, and be applied in other educational institutions.Item Solicitude: um podcast sobre a fase preparatória dos pregões eletrônicos nos processos do Ifal – Campus Coruripe(2023) Silva, Enoch Freitas da; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Cunha Júnior, Arnaldo Tenório da; Pacheco, Auxiliadora Baraldi; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de AlmeidaThis dissertation investigated the performance of the servants who work in the preparatory phase of electronic trading processes at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL - Coruripe Campus. The current standardization and the transition to the new Bidding and Contracts Law - NLLC (Law 14.133/2021) were decisive in this study. It was intended to understand how the cited servants proceed in the initial stages of the bidding processes, to know their difficulties and suggestions, referring to current procedures. There was also an interaction between intermediate and final activities on campus. How they think and do education within their area of expertise. The text was introduced with the researcher's training course in the ProfEPT professional master's degree and contextualization of the theme. The second chapter brought a brief history of education in EPT, dealt with work as an educational principle and democratic management in EPT. The next chapter deals with the infrastructure of the EPT, the evolution of tenders in Brazil and the planning of public contracts. In the methodology chapter, the types of research were explained: in terms of approach, nature, procedures. Finally, the methodological path of the research was demonstrated and, finally, the proposal, construction and application of the educational product - PE were detailed. In chapter 5, field research data were presented with tables and graphs, and subsequent analysis and discussion. Also in this chapter, the results of the application of the EP and respective analysis were addressed. In the last chapter, on the results of the research, a little more about the experience of this researcher in the training course of the master's degree at ProfEPT. The publication of an article and the submission of another, as a consequence of the set apprehended in the curricular components and in the course of the final work, reflect the learning acquired. It concludes with the perception that the research objectives were achieved and it is suggested the adapted application of the product in other places and also for other situations.Item Trabalho, ciência, tecnologia e sociedade: reflexões no contexto do ensino médio integrado ao técnico na formação em eletrotécnica do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-03-04) Santos, Jonathas Costa Vieira dos; Sobral Junior, Geraldo Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Barbosa, José Isnaldo de Lima; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2266-4364; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3111088449226485; Lopes Neta, Natércia de Andrade; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5532-9300; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4880247640523667This study critically discusses the scientific practice linked to its social impacts and work relations in the context of Vocational and Technological Education, in addition to presenting the development of an Educational Product, in video format, built for students of the third grade of integrated high school to the technician in Electrotechnics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas - Campus Maceió. The Educational Product reflects the history of the English scientist Michael Faraday (1791-1867), responsible for discovering the principle of transformers and electric motors, fundamental machines for Electrotechnics and significant for the students' training universe. The material was applied under the curricular component Electrical Machines, followed by a discussion mediated by the research team and a collaborating teacher. Its objective is to contribute to integral human formation by promoting a reflection around science and technology as human productions with social implications that permeate the world of work. The study is of a qualitative character and uses the action research method. The theoretical basis of the research includes authors such as Ciavatta, Ramos, Moura and Saviani, among others, all affiliated to the progressive political-philosophical current. Data collected through semi-structured questionnaires were interpreted using the Content Analysis technique and organized in thematic tables containing representations of science and technology, associated with their impacts on the world of work, such as expressed by students. The results demonstrate in the subjects the capacity for conceptual articulation between the central themes of the research, but the absence of critical positions regarding the questionable neutrality of science and technology in society, or of conflicts of interest that could interfere in the conception of these elements. They also point to the potential of the Educational Product as a meaningful learning material in the context of Vocational and Technological Education.Item Tripalium: noções de Direito do Trabalho para a Educação Profissional e Tecnológica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2020-08-30) Silva, Carlos Farias da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida
