Acessibilidade linguística e digital para estudantes surdos/as : ambientação de ferramentas tecnológicas do Google sala de aula com o uso da cartilha para surdos

Upon the suspension of the in-person time schedule, which occurred due to the health crisis brought about by the new coronavirus pandemic, it was necessary to think, in a short period of time, of working methods to continue the classes online. As of this need, we identified that deaf students at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL faced difficulties regarding the usability of the G Suite for Education environment, thus reflecting on their learning. Started the first debates on the feasibility of making a booklet that visually demonstrated a step-by-step that would help these students learn the needs that the G Suite for Education environment required, so that they could attend classes and carry out activities that the professors will spend during the period of health crisis brought about by the new coronavirus pandemic. The preparation of the booklet allows deaf students at IFAL to have access to material that will help them in the conduct and usability of the virtual environment that was adopted in the pandemic period, so that this has positive effects on learning and, above all, on accessibility for the access and use of technological tools today, a fact accentuated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Technologies have been incorporated into face-to-face and distance education with the aim of enriching the teaching-learning process. Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) can be defined as a digital educational software intended to support educational activities. The idea is that these environments create new learning possibilities for the student in view of technological changes that have been taking place in society. The research’s general objective is to provide a virtual environment with references to support learning for in electrical engineering students, with the creation of the Virtual Environment for Technological Learning, AVATEC. The performance of the environment was evaluated, as well as the relevance of its use as an ally to professional and technological education.

This study aims to understand the contribution of Exact Sciences disciplines in the training process of technical courses in Administração in a private institution of professional and technological education, in 2023. In this sense, it defends the meaningful learning in Moreira (2016) valuing the interaction between prior knowledge and new knowledge, and Ausubel (2003) who values knowledge constructed from known situations, that is, the students' experiences. These teaching-learning processes must be understood as driving forces of personal and professional lives, eclipsing, like Mathematics Education, supporting adequate management of personal and professional finances using qualitative-quantitative research to understand the consequences of teaching- learning in their technical training in Administração, based on the precepts of Chiavenato (2006).

Pedagogical practices combined with experiences over the years are of paramount importance for learning. Thus, the general objective sought to analyze how the teachers of vocational and technological training at the IFAL Satuba campus, of the subsequent course in Agriculture, seek to promote pedagogical practices regarding the humanization of their students regarding the development of society in a sustainable way. And the specific objectives, to identify how teachers assimilate information from students about the world and sustainability; to know if there is an interest of the students in participating in projects that aim at the valorization, preservation and/or ecological recovery; to point out how these pedagogical practices are implemented and if there is a growing number of EE projects in the Vocational Technical Course and to provide a booklet and lesson plan based on the importance of EE to students of vocational technical education. The methodology applied to the research was the qualitative approach through action research, applying a questionnaire to five professors. The results obtained showed: 20% of teachers have been working for 10 years, 40% for 25 years, 20% for 30 years and 20% for 8 and a half years; aged between 36 and 61 years, being 20% women and 80% men, totaling 60% masters and 40% doctors. Finally, the professors seek to promote pedagogical practices regarding the humanization of their students regarding the development of society in a sustainable way, it is mentioned here, the recognition of the need to be inserted in the curriculum a discipline of environmental management and sustainability.

The present work aims to study and analyze the practical experience and living within the context of the Technical Administration Course, with a focus on vocational education. This research is characterized as an analysis of the problem situation, a bibliographic study, and a proposal for educational intervention through the guidance of measures to level students and reduce school dropout. The results reveal the importance of integrating theory and practice for the development of professional competencies, as well as the positive impact of practical experience on students' formation. The research also highlights the challenges faced by students and instructors in the process of practical learning and provides suggestions to enhance this dimension of the Technical Administration course. Theoretical and methodological support was provided by scholars such as Mattos and Lemos (2022), Chiavatta (2012), Maldaner (2017), and Rose (2006). This study contributes to a deeper understanding of vocational education, technical training, and the challenges faced by instructors in their classrooms, offering valuable insights for educators, educational managers, and students. As results, curriculum improvement, student monitoring, and the continuous adaptation of technical education programs stand out, preparing students for a dynamic and challenging job market.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought the need for social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus on a global scale. In Brazil, restrictive measures were taken in several areas, with education being the focus of this study. Emergency remote teaching emerged as an alternative for the continuity of on-site education, aiming to reduce the recurrent losses of in-person stoppages. With the need for equipment and internet access for remote teaching, the country's inequality of access became evident. This research aims to analyze the impact of emergency remote teaching in the Covid-19 pandemic, for students and teachers, and the aspects that guide this occurrence, mainly in technological difficulties. For this, the state of the art on the subject was raised to support discussions and applied questionnaires, without collecting personal data, for students and teachers in order to transform the results into percentage graphs.

The aim of this research was to verify whether there is an association between the use of smartphones and the quality of the sleep pattern of university professors. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with a quantitative approach, conducted with 79 professors from a public university in Alagoas. Data collection was performed through a form containing (1) Sociodemographic data; (2) Smartphone Dependency Test; (3) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Questionnaire. The analysis was made through BioEstat. Most of the interviewees were female (75.9%) and were ≥50 years old (35.4%). There was an association between sleep pattern and dependence on cell phone use. The factors associated with sleep quality and smartphone dependence deserve attention, considering that they are directly or indirectly related to health problems.

The purpose of this article is to contribute to the dissemination of Law 11.645/2008 at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL, through the work of NEABI - Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies. To this end, a pedagogical intervention proposal was created to disseminate the actions of NEABI, for Teaching, Research and Extension, with an emphasis on integrated high school, in this sense it is questioned how to deconstruct a historical process, which persists from the colonial period until today, how to combat anti-racist, prejudiced and discriminatory practices for an egalitarian society. For reflection, research on the subject, seminars and discussions will be proposed. From a methodological point of view, it involves bibliographical research, in articles, books and others. It is hoped that the proposal will make a significant contribution to the real purpose of Law 11.645/2008.

The present work aims at the proportions of indicators evaluated for Emergency Remote Teaching in the Integrated Teaching of Youth and Adult Education in the Accommodation course on the Marechal Deodoro campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), a modality implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As mandatory, Ifal's institutional rules on the ERE with a focus on the Integrated Course on Youth and Adult Education. In addition, it was a matter of providing subsidies for thinking about new indicators for evaluating the ERE. The work methodology is qualitative. Bibliographic research and studies were carried out on the experiences lived during this pandemic period on the Campus of Marechal Deodoro. However, this work does not illustrate the use of research with the educational community, as the result is drawn from experience-based experience. The result of the study has assorted dimensions and indicators with a degree of favoring education actors in the decisions to be addressed in the process of improving the ERE and the quality of teaching-learning

This study aims to explore the challenges and benefits of using the generative AI ChatGPT by instructors of courses at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), which includes the 4.0 Spaces, COLAB and IFMakers. To achieve this goal, a quantitative and qualitative research was conducted using a questionnaire on Google Forms that was applied to instructors at IFAL's innovative spaces. The questionnaire covers the participants characteristics, use, opinions, and perceptions of the AI tool in education. The results were presented in a graphical format and revealed insights into teachers' perceptions of OPEN AI's generative AI, its potential use in the classroom, and ethical and learning concerns. Additionally, the study demonstrated how to identify the use of AI to build a text by citing some existing examples and others that can be implemented.

The present work deals with inclusive pedagogical practices implemented in Sociology classes in the 2nd years of the Integrated High School Courses on Housing and Agroecology at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Maragogi. The intervention was carried out between May and June 2023 and its objective involved the application of pedagogical strategies that met the needs of students supported by the Nucleus for Assistance to People with Specific Needs (NAPNE). The adaptations and strategies used were small, supported by the elaboration and choice of pedagogical materials and the possibility for students to choose the options for delivering the activities. I conclude that the teaching strategies applied in the intervention were inclusive, but without being discriminatory and that inclusion begins when the teacher plans the lessons and the evaluation is end of the process.

It is known that education and health are indispensable fields for the existence of human beings, in addition to being correlated, since education supports a healthy life. The objective of this work was to report the construction of pedagogical resources for oral health education with a group of students from the technical course in oral health, as well as clarify the importance of using recreational resources during health education activities. The pedagogical intervention was the method used in the construction of this work, therefore, a bibliographical research was carried out with the guiding question: What evidence is available on the use of pedagogical resources in oral health education activities? In addition, for the development of the theoretical framework, the following databases were used: PUBMED, LILACS, and SCIELO, with standardized descriptors: Health Education; Collective Health; Pedagogical Games; Pedagogical Intervention and its correspondents in English. In all combinations, the Boolean And operator was used. It was observed that it is essential that health education actions are conducted through playful means that broaden thoughts, behaviors and bring listeners closer to the guidelines that will be discussed. Thus, the importance of technical professionals in oral health is evident in strengthening the complementarity and continuity of collective actions, reinforcing the commitment to the population's health, the bond with the community and participation in intersectoral actions.

This study aims to highlight students' points of view in relation to the challenges during the period of implementation of remote teaching. To this end, a questionnaire was applied on Google Form with students from two private colleges (A and B, being A in Arapiraca and B in Maceió in the state of Alagoas) in 2021, who were, or are still following emergency remote classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The students surveyed are from the Nutrition courses at Faculty A and Medicine at Faculty B whose processes of professionalization of teachers are not, a priori, substantiated by a socio-educational interface focused on the exercise of teaching, which demonstrates the need to reflect and suggest actions education to the technical training of professionals in the context of remote education. As a conclusion, a pamphlet was prepared and distributed in the field together with the participating students to guide institutions, teachers and students to walk together, towards improving the use of remote classes, with the objective of collaborative and meaningful learning.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by a mutation of the SARS-CoV virus, in mid-December 2019, the Chinese government announced the rapid proliferation and its high killing capacity. This process forced a reshaping of the pattern of personal and educational relationships around the world. As a way to minimize the proliferation of this virus, which is related to severe respiratory syndromes, it was necessary to close educational environments, requiring an emergency change in teaching patterns, making adjustments in the methodologies and pedagogical practices characteristic of face-to-face teaching, making use of the mass use of technologies for communication that has increased within social patterns. Therefore, this study aims to understand the dynamics experienced by teachers, working in the state of Alagoas in 2020, in terms of training, difficulties and future visions for the reality experienced within new educational models.

Environmental issues have never been on the agenda as much as they are today. We are feeling the increase in environmental problems in our daily lives. Environmental education therefore plays its part in tackling the environmental crisis, and is committed to changing values, behaviors, feelings and attitudes towards environmental problems. With this in mind, this work is based on the idea of raising awareness among Ecology students in the 2nd year of the Technical Course in the Environment at Ifal/Campus Marechal Deodoro about the problems arising from the improper disposal of solid waste in the coastal environment and encouraging them to come up with solutions to the problem of environmental pollution, with the aim of filling any gaps in their learning. To this end, we opted for a participatory approach using active learning methodology mediated by works as the didactic strategy to be applied in the intervention. The result is expected to be significant changes in solid waste disposal habits in the coastal region as a result of the students acting as multiplier agents among their families and communities, contributing to the sustainability of this vital ecosystem.

Inclusive education is a relevant and challenging topic in contemporary educational discussions. This study deals with a proposal for a pedagogical intervention that aims at the importance of inclusion. The paper also highlights that promoting inclusion can lead to a more fair, tolerant and egalitarian society. The overall goal of this paper was to develop a pedagogical intervention proposal to work on inclusive education and school with students of technical education in administration. It's concluded that the inclusive school is an important path to providing education quality for adults and young people; allowing that all individuals have equal opportunities to access knowledge and personal development. In that respect, the proposed pedagogical intervention highlights the importance of public policies that support and strengthen inclusive education, as well as the main role of students and educators in making welcoming and inclusive educational environments.

Financial Education is not just about distributing information, but about developing skills and competencies to deal with finances. Provides better financial decisions, resulting in well-being and quality of life. It can be promoted in school and out-of-school environments, through lectures, courses and extension programs. It has become a central theme in several countries, contributing to public policies and programs for the dissemination of financial culture. Lack of financial knowledge has led to problems such as unplanned loans, uncontrolled use of credit cards and lack of financial control. Financial control plays a fundamental role in people's lives, allowing adequate management of personal and professional finances. In this sense, this qualitative and quantitative study carried out in 2023 contributes and highlights the facilitation and optimization of this process, through the use of Microsoft Excel, offering numerous advantages, allowing efficient and accurate management of personal and professional finances. Therefore, the main benefits of Excel for financial control are problematized, emphasizing its versatility and advanced features.

This study aimed to identify the causes of school dropout in a class of a technical vocational course after the implementation of the distance learning modality. The research carried out was of an applied nature, with a qualitative, descriptive approach and using the technical procedure of action research. The practical and collaborative action-research model was used in a sample of 20 students from a class of the Occupational Safety II subject of the technical course on Occupational Safety. As a technical procedure for data collection, a multiple-choice and open-ended questionnaire was used, answered anonymously by the interviewees. The results show that school dropout in the population investigated is multifactorial in nature, with a predominance of causes of socio-economic, technological and organizational origin. As a strategy for solving the problem condition, a plan with mitigation and correction actions was proposed, with the objective of understanding and preventing the causes that promote school dropout.
