Methodologically, this study is qualitative in nature, of the action research type, based on Oliveira (2016), Minayo (2009) and Thiollent (2011), whose methodological instruments include the application of questionnaires to teachers and students of this modality, with a view to producing and applying didactic sequences produced with a focus on the use of audiovisual materials; culminating in the production of an e-book, which is configured as a pedagogical instrument aimed at approaching TCT in Youth and Adult Education with a view to the citizenship training of students served in this modality. As a theoretical reference, we used the contributions of authors such as: Arroyo (2008), Azevedo and Tavares (2015), Carvalho et al (2020), De Lira (2018), Freire (2002), Gadotti (2009), Ramos (2008), Santos, (2014), Silva (2021), Thiollent (2011). To analyze the data obtained in the research, Content Analysis was used, according to Bardin (2016). The research was applied to the Cooking course – PROEJA at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Marechal Deodoro, with a sample of 9 teachers and 50 students distributed across different modules of the course. As a conclusion of the research, we highlight that the teaching offered in Youth and Adult Education needs meaning in view of its purpose, where different views and new teaching methods can promote student protagonism. In addition to this development, there has been an increase in school dropout rates. This research generally intends to investigate the variables that can be used in the modeling of predictive analysis of school dropout in Integrated High School (Agricultural Course) of IFAL - Campus Satuba. The problem question that is intended to be answered is: what variable trends can be used in a predictive analysis model, according to the dropout student profile that can measure the probability of school dropout risk in the scope of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) at the average level offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) - Campus Satuba? For this, a study was carried out in the technical course integrated to the high school in agriculture at IFAL - Campus Satuba. The methodology of this investigation was of the action-research type, since its methodological procedures are strongly linked to an interventionist action. The present research, regarding the approach and its nature, is of the mixed type, qualitative and quantitative. The data collection instruments were: official data from the academic system of the Academic Registration Coordination of the Campus, modalities applied to incoming students and interviews with the servants who attended directly in the course. The technique for analyzing the data used is predictive analysis, machine learning algorithms, binary logistic regression and statistical-mathematical model. Each developing its contents independently and exclusively, implying traditional educational practices, with pedagogical purposes, almost always, decontextualized. Within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), it is believed to be no different. That being said, it is necessary that possible themes and contents be addressed in a way that considers interdisciplinarity, with an emphasis on the specific aspects of each area of knowledge, seeking integration and dialogue between them. Nature Adventure Activities can be configured as new themes and teaching-learning strategies with norms, values and attitudes that go beyond competitive practices and the contents of physical education classes. Being capable of an interdisciplinary approach with other areas of knowledge. Thus, this investigation aimed to verify the possibility of interdisciplinary pedagogical intervention, thematizing some adventure practices in integrated high school, through collaborative action research, which developed in a cyclical, dynamic and spiral manner. The target audience for the research were teachers and students of the Integrated Technical Course for Secondary Education in Agriculture, on one of the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas/IFAL. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicate that teachers considered Adventure Activities in Nature a theme that could be discussed within their respective areas of knowledge, and were able to understand interdisciplinarity and its importance in student learning. However, they highlight several challenges for carrying out interdisciplinary work. The investigation indicates the need for a proposed pedagogical intervention with an interdisciplinary bias. To collaborate in this sense, a teaching action was organized with interdisciplinary support through the theme: Adventure Activities in Nature. The action was consolidated into an ecological trail in the region, with students and teachers from two of the curricular components of the course under study. As a result, the collaborative educational product emerged, in the format of an e-book, interactive and interdisciplinary. The PE demonstrates a perspective of dialogue between the different areas of knowledge, distributed in the training centers (basic, integrative and professional), of the unified curricular matrix for the integrated technical course in agriculture at IFAL, as well as for the other courses at the institution in focus. and anyone else who may be interested in the topic.Item Campi Centenário do IFAL como lugares de memória e de identidade: documentário como instrumento de preservação Institucional(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-07-28) Santos, Gerônimo Vicente dos; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de AlmeidaThe research had as object of study the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) of Maceió and Satuba, both with more than 100 years of existence. This secular period gave rise to the practice of forgetting a past built and intertwined by different generations of civil servants, students and members of the external community. The general objective of the research was to produce, as educational material, a documentary about the centenary campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas as places of memory and identity. Among the specific objectives were focused, the intention to awaken in public servants, students and in other publics of interests, memories and institutional belonging feeling and to propose suggestions of services of stimulus to the memory and the institutional preservation that can be added to Ifal's documentary and material safeguard structure. The work presents, as an educational product, a 35-minute documentary, whose content focuses on the history of professional and technological education that is part of the federal public network in Alagoas, with testimonials from social actors involved in the reminiscences of the Ifal teaching units in Maceio and Satuba. With the research, results were sought about the preservation and rescue of elements that configure the institutional memory of the pioneering campuses of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in the State. The investigative study, of the collaborative action research type, presented a qualitative approach, whose methodological instruments included in the data collection, observation, theoretical references, oral interview, application of questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and conversation circles, activities that were applied together to the academic community, graduates and former public servants. The diagnostic research had the participation of 63 interviewees, 43 of whom answered through digital questionnaires and 20 through oral interviews.As a result, there was a lack of definition about the storage of institutional memory on the Maceió and Satuba campuses. The absence of institutional preservation was verified as strategic objectives of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of Ifal and there was relaxation in terms of organization and control of safeguarding institutional memory in both administrations of the researched teaching units.Item A contribuição da educação física na formação integral dos estudantes do ensino médio integrado do IFAL que buscam ascensão social e profissional através do futebol(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-30) Duarte, Arlene Leão de Lima; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; : http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Leão, Iberê Caldas de SouzaThis research, developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/IFAL), aimed to identify the contribution of Physical Education in the comprehensive education of IFAL Integrated High School students, who seek social and professional ascension through the practice of football, bringing the importance of Professional and Technological Education beyond job preparation, highlighting it as a transformative agent for human beings. The investigative study was qualitative and employed collaborative action research methods, whose methodological tools included semi-structured interviews where the results indicated the elaboration of an Educational Product in the form of a documentary video, with a central theme on the the pursuit of social and professional advancement through football practice, as well as the trajectories of family members of professional athletes and teachers of the Physical Education Curricular component, which bring the contribution of this component to the integral training of these athletes. The diagnosis was carried out through the application of twenty-eight questionnaires with teachers of the Physical Education curricular component at IFAL and thirty-two students from the 11th grade of the Electrotechnics program in Integrated High School, where the intentionality of the students, when they choose Football as a sport to be practiced during their training process within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, as well as the importance of systematizing the material in documentary video for use by Physical Education professionals in their instructional endeavors. The documentary video was evaluated by students, teachers and other interviewees who were part of its construction. The evaluation intervention took place in Physical Education classes, in a 11th grade class of the Computer Science Course, and a 11th grade class of the Agroindustry Course in Integrated High School, as the theme is parof the syllabus of the curricular component that deals with of issues related to sport. In this context, the mass dissemination of fake news has deepened, along with post-truth, according to which the subjectivism of individuals overrides the objective analysis of facts. Without digital literacy, individuals become vulnerable to digital bubbles, manipulated by algorithms developed by global oligopolies, which strengthen the spread of false information and ultra-conservative discourses on the internet. Media Education is provided for in the 2018 BNCC, although it has been criticized for diverging from the historical conceptions of EPT in Brazil. This research aims to identify the impacts of digital disinformation among students of the integrated technical courses at IFAL - Campus Marechal Deodoro and the possibilities of Media Education in the context of EPT. The theoretical and analytical framework is guided by historical-dialectical materialism. The research has a qualitative-quantitative approach, an applied nature and an exploratory objective, carried out using the action research method, with a proposal for intervention in the group being researched. Data was collected using semi-structured questionnaires. The target audience was students on the integrated technical courses in Tourism Guide and Environment at IFAL - Campus Marechal Deodoro. The techniques used to analyze the data were basic statistics for quantitative data and categorical content analysis for qualitative data. The results analyzed in the exploratory phase indicate that the circulation of fake news has an impact on various areas of the IFAL - Marechal Deodoro Campus school community and that most students have difficulty discerning false from true information, especially when it is associated with traditional press outlets or produced through deepfakes. As an intervention proposal, with the collaboration of teachers, an educational product (EP) was developed in the format of an Interdisciplinary Pedagogical Workshop on Media Education, applied to a class of the integrated technical course in Tourism Guide. The evaluation of the EP, carried out by participating students and teachers, demonstrates the positive effects of using TDICs in the classroom and of the educommunicative perspective at school, as well as highlighting difficulties for interdisciplinary practices on campus. In this sense, this study had as main objective to analyze the knowledge about TDIC of the students of PROEJA of the Technical Course in Crafts at IFAL- Campus Maceió. The purpose was to identify how the technologies fit into practices for the dissemination of the handcrafted products that they produce. The guiding question of the research proposed to think about how the students of the Technical Course in Crafts at IFAL, Campus Maceió spread information about the craft work they perform. As for the type of research, it is classified as descriptive, being of a qualitative nature of the action research type. The methodological instruments chosen were semi-structured questionnaires and field notes. Data were used and triangulated in a complementary way for the educational product in the blog format. The definition of this online channel resulted from the possibility of updating pages and posts on other social networks, without risk of exclusion, which preserves the record. The initial proposal of the intervention would be during the VI Module of the Craftsmanship Technical Course, in the Marketing and Logistics curricular component classes, as it has content on the subject, however, due to the intervening variable of Covid-19, the 12 students ( os) had no virtual class in the data collection stage, which required compliance with the protocol, validated by the Research Center in Psychology of Mathematics Education (NUPPEM) and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory (LNeC) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and with approval by the Research Ethics Committee of the Health Sciences Center of HEMOPE (Protocol No. 1.578.277). The construction of critical knowledge about the area and the responsibilities of their positions, as well as reflections and changes in individual behavior and the teams they are part of, enables the omnilateral training of these employees. The investigative study is of a qualitative nature, of the action research type, whose methodological instruments for data collection included the application of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with 13 (thirteen) TAEs, interviews with 5 (five) managers of the same Institute, a workshop with 07 (seven) TAEs, and bibliographic research. The result of the research revealed a lack of mastery of administrative law on the part of the participating civil servants and the existence of an understanding of separation between means and core activities, and not activities that complement each other and have interdependence. The research also made it possible to identify the existence of departmentalization of the institution, with the division of work between sectors and the consequent isolation of employees in their activities, in addition to the low knowledge by TAEs about the formal responsibilities of the positions they occupy, of the sectors where they are located and the formal structure of the educational institution itself. Based on the results found, an educational product was developed, applied and validated - an e-book - with the aim of constituting a guidance instrument for administrative activities in a critical and assertive manner, addressing the main rules that link to public administration, in particular, the activities of TAEs with federal institutes. In this context, Professional and Technological Education contributes to the integral formation of the subject when it assumes work as an educational principle and develops research as a pedagogical principle. The present investigation started from the question: Can teacher training for the use of the WebQuest tool collaborate with the development of research as a pedagogical principle in the context of Professional and Technological Education? The developed studies aim to collaborate in the deepening of teachers’ knowledge about the epistemological, didactic and operational principles of the WebQuest tool, in order to favor the orientation of school researches in virtual sources, during classroom teaching or Remote Teaching. The epistemological and analytical basis that guided this research was historical-dialectical materialism. The research is qualitative in nature, serving exploratory and descriptive purposes. The action research method was adopted because it considers its adequacy to solve problems that are of interest to the researcher and research participants. The development of action research involved four phases: diagnosis; construction of the Educational Product (PE); application of the Educational Product; Description, analysis of data and results. The collection instruments used were semi-structured questionnaires, conversation circles and documents. The Educational Product developed was a didactic sequence. The dialectical-historical materialism enabled the perception and critical analysis of the reality experienced during the diagnostic phase (2019) and the period of application of the Educational Product (2021), marked by a pandemic. This analysis required the NP to be adapted, so that its application took place through the Virtual Workshop. Six professors and 19 students from the Middle Level Integrated Technical Courses in Environment and Tourism Guide, IFAL, Campus Marechal Deodoro,participated in the research. The results of this investigation were analyzed following the path of hermeneutic-dialectical thinking and demonstrate that the WebQuest tool favors the inseparability of teaching and research; and within the context of Remote Learning, it is an effective tool in the process of guiding asynchronous activities. The biggest challenge identified for using the WebQuest is the methodological construction of a proposal in which students and educators act as producers of knowledge, not just as subjects who follow scripts or indicate sources of information for research. Overcoming this challenge requires investment in teacher training, as well as guaranteeing time for teachers to act as researchers and producers of teaching tools.Item Letramento literário no Ensino Médio Integrado:o portfolio de círculos de leitura na biblioteca escolar(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-03-22) Ferraz, Edileuza Lima; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Santos, Lúcia de FátimaThis dissertation, developed within the scope of ProfEPT, in the Educational Practices Research Line in EPT, describes the result of research carried out at the Maceió Campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), specifically at the Benevides Monte Library, with female students, from third grade of Integrated High School (EMI), whose general objective is to promote actions to encourage literary reading, through reading circles and to gather the impressions of these moments in the elaboration of the Portfolio Educational Product, taking into account reading and analysis from the work “The Hour of the Star”, by Clarice Lispector. We draw on the contributions of Cândido (2011), Cavalcanti et al. (2020), Colomer (2003), Cosson (2006, 2014, 2020), Cruz (2021), Freire (1989, 2014), Lajolo; Zilberman (2019), Moreira (2006, 2019), Oliveira (2022), Soares (2009), Tonet (2020) and Zilberman (2015), among others. The methodology was qualitative action research, based on Barbier (2002), Gibbs (2009) and Thiollent (1986). The following procedures were adopted: i) reading diagnosis of the participating students through profile questionnaires; circle evaluation questionnaire; and iii) carrying out reading circles, in which aspects of the work were discussed and we collected information to answer our research question and develop our Educational Product, entitled: Portfolio of reading circles in the library. The research that has as research subjects the teaching staff and administrative technicians of the Campus and the students of the third period of the Subsequent Technical courses, is characterized as a qualitative study of the Action Research type with a collaborative nature. In the first stage, data collection was carried out through the application of a semi-structured questionnaire applied to the teaching staff and administrative technicians of the Campus in order to identify the perception of these subjects about the concept of gender, the existence of situations related to the theme and whether or not to teach content related to gender issues in subsequent technical courses in which they work. The second stage of the study, which started to involve the students by holding dialogic meetings with the researcher (conversation circles) to discuss the theme, was accompanied by the development of an educational product that aims to promote spaces for dialogue and debate on gender and work issues within the Campus, given that the theme is not part of the contents provided for in the curricular components of the Subsequent Technicians Courses. By inserting the debate and the study on the reproduction of gender issues in the daily life of the Campus, an Exhibition Guide was structured that puts on screen the gender problems experienced by students, at school and in the world of work, which sensitizes the local community, create healthier environments for coexistence and teaching-learning and serve as a model of educational activity that can be carried out by administrative technicians or teachers, through isolated initiatives or teaching projects, in different units of the Federal Network of Vocational and Technological Education. The Educational Product (PE) Guide for Access to the Mini-course “Inclusion, Deaf Culture and Notions of Libras in Ifal” includes the teaching of terms that aim to introduce the studies of Libras, theoretical and legal knowledge about identity, culture and educational specificities of the deaf, as well as concepts of inclusion at Ifal and in Professional and Technological Education (EPT, in Brazil). The purpose of the EP is to favor interactional practices, as well as to reduce communicational and stigmatizing barriers through an inclusive, transformative and libertarian pedagogy. Furthermore, the study proposes to indicate strategies to overcome limitations regarding the inclusion of deaf people in the Ifal school environment. The main objective of the research is to problematize the accessibility of the deaf student with a view to inclusion, using a proposal for teaching Libras and cultural, linguistic, legalit and educational aspects of deaf communities to students from Campus Maceió do Ifal. The investigation has a qualitative approach, using the action research method, with the insertion of the researcher in the remote space of the classroom, with the collaboration of hearing and deaf students, Libras teachers, Libras translators and interpreters and Portuguese Language (TILSP), in addition to the multidisciplinary team of NAPNE. The research instruments include the application of semi-structured questionnaires and classroom observation, whose results are used in two moments. Firstly, in the conception of the Mini-Course and, later, for the elaboration of the Guide for Access to the Mini-Course. The research results indicate the need to propose teaching strategies for learning Libras in an integral way in a critical-emancipatory perspective. For this, the use of the theoretical and methodological apparatus of educational robotics and the Arduino platform was deemed necessary. This work used the methodology of participant-action research and the active methodologies of Inverted Classroom (SAI) and Project Based Learning (ABP). Given the difficulties and lack of motivation of students in the programming logic component, a methodology was developed that aims to mitigate the dichotomy between theory and practice, allowing a glimpse to contribute to the formation of critical thinking and technical knowledge of the student, which are important factors for human and professional development in the 21st century. The data survey relied on the application of semi-structured questionnaires. Finally, content analysis revealed the positive experience of using robotics as a technological motivator in the school environment, as well as the development of broad concepts about robotics, computer programming, and Arduino.
