Item 3D School: Desenvolvendo estratégias Maker para estudantes do ensino técnico integrado do curso eletrotécnica Campus Pesqueira – IFPE(2025-04-09) Alcantara, Eurlles Canuto de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9782-8458; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Moraes Junior, Edison Camilo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8234380347792761; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This dissertation investigates the introduction of Maker Culture in the context of integrated technical education in electrotechnics, aiming to transdisciplinarily integrate curricular content and explore the potential of emerging technologies such as 3D printing. The research stems from the observed need to connect the theoretical knowledge studied by students with practical and contemporary applications as a way to increase engagement and promote more meaningful learning. The study is justified by the researcher’s experience at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), Pesqueira campus, where a possible gap was identified in students’ direct contact with emerging technologies like 3D printing, despite the relevance of these tools to the field of electrotechnics. Additionally, the research addresses the issue of knowledge fragmentation, exploring the concepts of multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and primarily transdisciplinarity, advocating the latter as an approach capable of integrating different fields of knowledge in the learning process. The central problem of this dissertation lies in how to incorporate Maker Culture transdisciplinarily into the integrated technical electrotechnics course at IFPE, Pesqueira campus. The general objective is to identify ways to implement Maker Culture from this perspective, using emerging technologies. The specific objectives include allowing students to explore creativity and develop soft skills through teamwork, creating 3D-printed objects to assemble a scaled-down micro wind turbine, and finally, developing a didactic sequence that systematizes the process. It is believed that the Maker Culture approach, by stimulating experimentation and the practical application of knowledge, can promote meaningful learning, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, and preparing students for the technological challenges of the 21st century. The dissertation also highlights the importance of meaningful learning, based on Ausubel’s theory, as a key element in transforming the educational process. In summary, this research seeks to contribute to the modernization of technical education by proposing an innovative pedagogical approach that values creativity, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge through the integration of Maker Culture and transdisciplinarity into the electrotechnics course at IFPE Pesqueira. The development of the didactic sequence aims to materialize this proposal, serving as a resource for future implementations and studies in the field.Item A atuação da Biblioteca Nacional no contexto da censura às obras literárias eróticas: abordagens do período da Ditadura Militar(2023-10-23) França, Franciane Monick Gomes de; Frota, Maria Guiomar da Cunha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5412492257148196; Greenhalgh, Raphael Diego; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4363292671692262; Silva, Carlos Henrique Juvêncio da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1646741868261976; Hoffman, Felipe Eleutério; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3939955973103347; Silveira, Fabrício José Nascimento da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8840124188505402This research is a case study that aims to investigate and report how the censorship of literary books with erotic/sexual content occurred during the period of the Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), in the Brazilian National Library, as well as the role of Librarians in the face of censorship acts. From the theoretical reference and from a historical perspective, it had been mainly dealt with the following themes: censorship in the dictatorial period and its controlling instituitions, the bibliographic heritage as part of the country's collective memory and legal materials in the library area that had guided the professional ethics that had been performanced by the Librarians at the time. At the methodological level, documentary researches had been used, it had been taken place at the National files, to understand the survey of the censors and its preparation for carrying out the function, through the opinions of its Previous Censorship Series and administrative documents from the General Administration Section, both of them had been part of the Fund for Public Entertainment Censorship Division, the instituition responsible for centralizing censorship in the Military Dictatorship. The documentary research also includes administrative files from the National Library in regards to the dictatorial period, through the National Library Collection, under the custody of the Manuscripts Section, which contains administrative reports, statistic datas, correspondences, letters, and the Annual Management files wich are part of the General Archive and the Management Reports that appear in the Annals of the National Library. The documentary research aims to identify the presence of works examined by the censors, especially those one wich that had been prohibited. As the results, 78 books titles that corresponded to erotic, pornographic, obscene or about sexual education, in portuguese, were identified in the online catalog, from the total list of 673 in the Prior Censorship Series. It had been checked the existence of its files in the dictionary catalogue, used at the time to identify the works that made up the collection. It had been also included in the methodology some interviews and e-mail correspondences with employees of the National Library, resulting in 1 testimony and 3 reports of episodes about government and librarian activities. By analyzing the data collected, it had been found from the 78 books included in the collection that 52 were prohibited, 20 were released and 6 were absent, which 75 of them were acquired by legal deposit. The actions that had been taken by Librarians to protect prohibited publications included hiding them in safes and cabinets, removing identification cards, changing shelves and sections. In terms of government practices, it had been noticed the presence of agents of the dictatorship to supervise these works in an official and camouflaged way. It had been concluded that there was a governmental censorship supervisory action, without legal determination embargoing the acquisition of publications, but seeking to subsequently remove certain articles from the collection, and that on the part of some employees, including Librarians, there were strategies of resistance to censorship and safeguarding of works restrained. Events such as the Stockholm Conference (1972) and COP 27 (2022) highlight advances in sustainable development. In Brazil, the National Environmental Education Policy (PNEA) faces difficulties, such as the lack of teacher training and the prioritization of other school content. Although EE plays a central role in integrating society and nature, its application in schools is often punctual and limited, facing obstacles such as the use of traditional methods and the absence of integrated projects. The aim of this end-of-course work was to carry out a situational diagnosis of environmental education in the Integrated Technical Courses at the Instituto Federal de Alagoas (Ifal) and to encourage its implementation at the institution. The research was exploratory, classified as bibliographical and documentary, and applied to the 15 Ifal campuses that offer Integrated Technical Courses. Data collection included analysis of official documents, recent bibliography and the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (SIGAA) to identify projects related to EE. In education, an analysis of the Pedagogical Course Projects (PCP) was carried out, which made it possible to identify that the environmental theme is approached unevenly when comparing intercourses and intra-courses on different campuses. The analysis of the PCP indicates that environmental education is present, but needs more consistency and depth. Terms such as “Environmental Education” and “Sustainability” are more common in agricultural and environmental courses, while technological areas show little integration. A questionnaire was validated using the Delphi Technique and then applied to teachers. The validation process resulted in a questionnaire used to assess the effective implementation of EE at Ifal and the position of teachers in relation to the sustainability practices adopted in their daily lives. The application of the Delphi method improved the questionnaire, especially in terms of the relevance and clarity of the questions. The main adjustments to the questionnaire focused on replacing terms, making the analysis tool more objective. The Delphi method made it possible to produce a research tool capable of identifying the reality of environmental education practice at Ifal and to draw up a profile of the teaching staff in relation to the implementation of educational activities aimed at environmental education. As for extension, the results show that Ifal promotes environmental education through actions concentrated on a few campuses and specific categories. However, there has been a drop in these actions over the last three years, possibly due to the pandemic. In addition, a training course in environmental education was designed for Ifal teachers, with the aim of improving their approach to environmental issues. In this sense, it is crucial to disseminate information and promote responsible attitudes that help develop students as conscious citizens. Therefore, learning tools should provide greater freedom and autonomy, allowing students to develop skills and understand the reality in which they are inserted. Technical reports with the conclusions of the research were produced and made available to the institution, with the aim of collaborating with future EE initiatives in teaching, research and extension.Item A educação escolar e a formação de dirigentes: espaços de formação política das lideranças estudantis do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-01) Oliveira, Hellen Carolyne Barbosa de; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Hollerbach, Dra. Joana D’Arc Germano; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5888935341011338The process of political education in the school context is hampered by ideological disputes and conflicting conceptions. Based on the understanding that the ethical-political dimension is an inseparable part of an emancipatory human education, which guarantees students their insertion in social life through full access to cultural assets produced throughout the history of humanity, this research addresses the formation of student leaders and the organization of spaces for political education in Professional and Technological Education, taking as a focus the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Its objective is to analyze the process of organizing a pedagogical space in Integrated High School aimed at political education through the organization of student events. The methodological premise of the research is the qualitative-quantitative approach, of the participatory, exploratory and applied research type developed in four stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic review was carried out on themes that permeated the construction of the research, such as political education in the school space and the development of student leaders. The second stage consisted of conducting a diagnosis, which occurred through active observation of the campus under study and the application of a questionnaire to the research participants, students who participate in student representation spaces. In the third stage, a prototype of the educational product was developed, which consists of an instructional guide for students on organizing events. The last stage corresponded to the application and evaluation of the developed educational product. To analyze the data obtained from the application and evaluation of the educational product, content analysis and descriptive statistics were used. The result was the design of a didactic/instructional guide on organizing events for students, as a proposal for structuring a formal space in Integrated High School that contributes to the work of political formation and development of student leadership. The research evidenced the lack of material on organizing events adapted for students, despite it being a recurring activity in the times and school spaces of Professional and Technological Education, which relies on the active participation and direction of student leaders. It was observed that the lack of systematized knowledger students about the event activity limited the experimentation of these spaces through intuitive learning or from previous experiences with other organizers. Ingeneral, based on the participants' evaluation of the material created, there was a prevalence of high acceptance in relation to its contribution to the proposed purpose.Item A formação de professores para a educação inclusiva no ensino técnico: legislação e diretrizes(2022) Souza, Jairo José de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Santos; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Santos, Adriana Cavalcanti dos; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares deThe issue of people with disabilities is a prominent debate in society, despite there are affirmative public policies, such as quotas for PCDs in the selection of vacancies in public schools and even in vacancies for private companies. The educational issue on the inclusion of this audience still involves improvisation, either institutional or personal, of each educator. While it is still a challenge to include students in professional education following legal regulations, this project aims to investigate, analyze and discuss the issue of inclusion of students with specific needs, in addition to diagnosing compliance with legislation, guidelines and policies for inclusive education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL, and investigate the meaning that inclusive education gains in the practice of educators in the classroom; getting to know, through the speeches of the interviewed educators, as an experience of living with students with specific needs in the classroom; investigate how this inclusion process can generate new didactic-pedagogical practices for these educators; and propose an educational product in the form of a booklet that guides managers and teachers on good practices regarding the inclusion of students with specific needs and after the collection of data that were used and triangulated and that served in a complementary way to create a second product educational in application format, where the booklet is displayed online and accessible to everyone. This topic has been widely debated by scholars of education, psychology and psych pedagogy, since the inclusion of students with disabilities, whether physical, mental, auditory, visual, or others, has been an increasingly constant reality in teaching classrooms. basic and superior. The research is methodologically based on the qualitative method and as a data collection instrument the semi-structured interview, carried out with eleven IFAL teachers who have students with specific needs in their classrooms. The theoretical framework adopted here is that of Socio-Historical Psychology, which sees subjects as active, social and historical. The results indicated that educational products allowed greater exhibition of the theme about inclusive education in technical education and compliance with legislation, policy guidelines and proposals at IFAL, in addition to providing an interest of teachers in joining the use of educational products in classes with to students with specific educational needs, as the interaction with the application can be a potential tool for dealing with problems related to accessibility in the teaching of students with specific educational needs.Item A história do curso técnico de eletrônica: promovendo a valorização e sensibilização da comunidade discente no combate à evasão na educação profissional(2022) Fidelis, Mariluze da Silva Vieira; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Castilho, Fábio Fancisco de Almeida; Souza, Maria de Fátima Matos deThe present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, The present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, at Campus Maceió, in order to alleviate the problem in the context of the course, building proposals that help the student's permanence in the integration of studies. The investigation focuses on the complexity of the subject, which involves personal, family, institutional and political factors. The study methodology has a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data were collected in 2020 and 2021, through the application of online questionnaires, made possible by Google Forms. Subsequently, in order to continue the systematization of the Educational Product (EP), we carried out another data collection, using the technique of the conversation circle through the virtual rooms of Google Meet. We also sent another questionnaire through Google Forms to 344 students of the electronics course. As an educational product, we systematized a photographic exhibition to give visibility and value to student identities and their knowledge produced within the scope of the Integrated Technical Electronics Course, this proposal is classified in the extension activity typology, according to a document from the Capes teaching area for masters professionals. It is understood that this problem is associated with the diversity of professionals and students that make up the Federal Institutes, as verified in other realities, by scholars on the subject. Finally, this problem becomes characteristic of the dynamism of inclusion. According to a survey of the evaluation of the Educational Product, carried out during the period of the photographic exhibition, the IFAL community, especially the students, expressed significant approval, especially regarding the information on the history of the Institute. Another important data, which reflects the acceptance of the exhibition, refers to the number of visitors, which was visited by 156 people.Item A interdisciplinaridade e a gamificação: as tecnologias digitais no ensino da língua espanhola no contexto da EPT(2023) Coimbra, Renata Portela das Chagas; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Francisco, Deise JulianaOver the years, Spanish language (SL) teaching has had different goals and purposes, and has been performed using different approaches and methodologies. Currently, in the context of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Ifal), there is a focus on public policies oriented towards widely expanding language teaching for students and employees. There is special motivation for the proposal of meaningful Spanish teaching for students of the Integrated Middle Level Technical Course in Agroecology. The language is offered in the final year of the course curriculum. The issue driving this research arises from the challenge of performing a pedagogical practice that offers an opportunity for dialogue between the two areas of the course: the specific training area of the course curriculum (Professional Curriculum), and the Basic Curriculum, in which SL is inserted. This investigation sought to propose subsidies based on interdisciplinary pedagogical practice through the use of gamification as a teaching methodology. The epistemological and analytical basis that guided this research was historicaldialectical materialism. This research is of a qualitative nature and fulfills exploratory and descriptive purposes. The collaborative action-research method was adopted, which was developed in four phases: diagnostic research and data analysis; elaboration of the educational product (EP); application of the EP and results; adjustments and evaluation of the EP. The target audience of the research were teachers in the Basic Curriculum (propaedeutics, a curricular component of the Spanish Language) and from the Professional Curriculum (teachers in the technical area) of the course. Thematic analysis was the technique used for organizing and discussing data in the qualitative research. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicated that professors are adept at the use of digital technologies and active methodologies, and that there is a lack of actions that enable dialogic praxis and the development of interdisciplinary work. The investigation demonstrated the need for continuing training to improve the use of digital technologies and gamification. To fill this gap, Spanish language teachers were proposed to create a collaborative educational product in the form of an interactive and interdisciplinary e-book. The teaching material was elaborated in a collaborative and participatory way with the SL teachers in the research location. The EP results showed that the material had a positive effect due to its organization, content and structure. Its interdisciplinary approach will enable dialogue between the different areas of the course, and it will recommended to professors of other curricular components in the Basic Curriculum.Item A participação de pais ou responsáveis nos processos de gestão da educação profissional e tecnológica do Ifal(2023) Alencar, Rendrikson Gonçalves; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Gomes, Maria das Graças Correia; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de OliveiraThe theme of this study is the participation of parents or guardians in management processes at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is an applied research project that aims to systematize educational practices for management work within the scope of Ifal. Located in the Teaching Area and developed in the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the research line Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in EPT, it takes a methodological perspective with a qualitative approach. The universe of analysis is made up of the parents or guardians of students and the staff of the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams of two Ifal campuses located in the Sertão Alagoano Mesoregion. The methodological procedure used was documentary and bibliographic research and the application of structured questionnaires in three stages: I) Diagnostic research into the spaces for participation by parents or guardians in management and the management practices carried out at Ifal; II) Definition and development of the educational prototype/product; III) Application, testing and evaluation of the Prototype. When evaluating the product, the participants considered the quality of the material, its suitability for the profile of the target audience and the relevance of the content presented. The results of the discussion led to the creation of an Educational Product for evaluation by staff from the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams, with the aim of using it as a training tool for parents or guardians. The results of the study indicate that it is still necessary to develop information and training channels that promote the participation of parents or guardians in the management of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), so that the spaces guaranteed in institutional regulations strengthen democratic and participatory management.Item A pesca de arrasto de camarões no Povoado Pontal do Peba, Piaçabuçu, Alagoas - Brasil: aspectos socioeconômicos e ambientais.(2023-07-25) Calazans, Elíne Monteiro; Tamano, Luana Tieko Omena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4206868438935017; Araujo, Daniel de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5837261784524743; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5204293561529304; Romero, Renato de Mei; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9857771457585862Shrimp play an extremely important role as fishery resources in the communities where they are present. In the Northeast region of Brazil, shrimp fishing is predominantly carried out by artisanal fishermen at different scales, and has a significant relevance in social, economic and cultural aspects. In the state of Alagoas, the artisanal capture of shrimp is predominantly carried out by means of motorized vessels that use the double trawling technique. The municipality of Piaçabuçu is currently the main center of fishing production in the state. The activity of motorized artisanal fishing directed to marine shrimp has been taking place in Pontal do Peba, Piaçabuçu, Alagoas, since 1960. This activity plays an important role in the community, providing livelihoods and income for local artisanal fishers. However, the lack of attention on the part of the social and political segments responsible for planning the region in relation to this sector of the regional economy is remarkable. The objective of this study was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the socioeconomic and environmental aspects related to shrimp trawling in Pontal do Peba, Piaçabuçu, Alagoas, Brazil. For this, qualitative and quantitative methods were used, such as interviews with the use of a semi-structured questionnaire, direct observations, photographic records and a field diary. The sampling technique adopted was Snowball Sampling, known as "snowball". Between June 2022 and January 2023, interviews were conducted with 43 fishermen. The fishing activity is artisanal in nature and is characterized by the involvement of the family. There was an exclusivity of men involved in the fishing activity itself, with the presence of women recorded only in the post-fishing stages. The general profile of the fishermen revealed a low level of education, a strong connection with the local fishing culture and a high dependence on fishing resources. Most respondents rely solely on fishing as a source of livelihood. Fisheries are carried out both during the day and at night and each trawl has an average duration of three hours. Fishermen work 8 to 12 hours a day, with an average of 10.6 hours (±1.4 hours). The majority of the interviewees (83.7%) stated that they do not own the vessels they use. The main form of conservation used during thefishery was ice. The results showed a high dependence of fishermen on middlemen. Among the environmental problems in the community, the fishermen cited: garbage disposal, lack of basic sanitation and turtle mortality. It was found that fishermen have varied environmental perceptions, while only (30.2%) recognize fishing as capable of causing impacts to the environment, most (69.8%) affirm that the activity is not capable of causing damage to the environment. Most fishermen (58.1%) reported noticing a significant decrease in the amount of shrimp caught in recent years. A significant group of interviewees (28.5%), despite understandingthe relevanceof the closure, believe that the established period is incorrect. Two main forms of processing have been identified for the shrimp caught: filleting and smoking. On the other hand, for the portion of fish of the accompanying fauna that is used, two techniques were mentioned: evisceration and salting-drying. The waste resulting from the processing of shrimp andfishis disposedof directly into the sea. In general, the need to include fishermen as active participants in decisions related to public policies aimed at the fishing sector, fisheries management and environmental conservation is highlighted.Item A utilização de softwares, sites e suportes de aprendizagem matemático: desbravando os segredos da matemática(2024-07-15) Silva, Josivaldo da; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Barbosa, Isnaldo Isaac; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8346517003296057; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345The investigation of students' difficulties in mathematics in everyday school life and in learning processes, through social contexts that constitute the school, the community and society. From there, it proposes the construction of an Educational Product entitled: Mathematical Learning Support Program: A didactic approach in Integrated High School, with the intention of supporting the treatment of the issue within the scope of Teaching in the Integrated Technical Computer Course. The research was developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal). The present study is justified by bringing a theme that can contribute to the learning of Integrated High School students, the development and knowledge of digital platforms, involving websites and software in learning from this perspective. Its objective is to resolve existing difficulties faced by students. To do this, we analyzed how issues related to the subject of mathematics appear in the teaching-learning process and in everyday school life from the perspective of Karl Marx's historical materialism (1993). The present research is of the action research type, with a collaborative bias and of a qualitative-quantitative nature based on the principles of participatory research (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011). The locus of the research was the Rio Largo Campus, and the research participants were 3 groups of volunteers (students): (1) students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the Integrated Technical IT Course at the Rio Largo Campus, in this case we had the class A, B and C with A: 35 participants, class B: with 30 participants and C with 26 participants, the three groups of students totaled 91 participants; (2) the teachers who teach mathematics in this Integrated Technical Course in IT totaled 3 teachers. The aim is, with the results of the research, to contribute to an omnilateral training (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2012; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) which, considering the social contexts of origin of the students, and the role of mathematics, in the process of learning, which integrates the dimensions of work, science and culture, managing to reach as many people as possible and thus contributing to this updated training in professional and technological education.Item Abordagem dos temas contemporâneos transversais no Proeja com foco na macroárea temática cidadania e civismo(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-02-01) Valido, Janeíne de Oliveira; Lima, Antonio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Rita de Cássia Souto Maior Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1312070903160476; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3382-3786; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569This This research aims to reflect on the importance of Transversal Contemporary Themes (TCTs), part of the Citizenship and Civics macro-area, for the comprehensive training of students in the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education Modality (PROJECT). To analyze the data obtained in the research, Content Analysis was used, according to Bardin (2016). The research was applied to the Cooking course – PROEJA at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Marechal Deodoro, with a sample of 9 teachers and 50 students distributed across different modules of the course. As a conclusion of the research, we highlight that the teaching offered in Youth and Adult Education needs meaning in view of its purpose, where different views and new teaching methods can promote student protagonism. The approach of TCTs in the classroom enables the formation of a subject who is knowledgeable about their rights and duties, since they dialogue with the reality of different social groups, especially with regard to those in the macro-area of Citizenship and Civics.Item Acoustoelastic response in rebars of reinforced concrete structures(2025) Vasconcelos, Thiago Delfino Lima; Haach, Vladimir Guilherme; Haach, Vladimir Guilherme; Carrazedo, Ricardo; Santos Júnior, Auteliano Antunes dos; Ferreira, Gisleiva Cristina dos Santos; Pinto, Roberto Caldas de AndradeItem Alimentação escolar e sustentabilidade: compostagem como método de (re)aproveitamento dos resíduos orgânicos produzidos no refeitório do Ifal - Campus Batalha(2021) Mélo, Thaisa Martins Porto de Souza; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Oliveira, Maria Alice Araújo; Pereira, Álvaro Itaúna Schalcher; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da SilvaThis investigation is linked to the research line Educational Practices in EPT and the macroproject Methodological proposals and didactic resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT aims to develop sustainable practices in order to sensitize students and other segments of the school community to issues related to environmental, economical and social sustainability. The main objective is to promote the practice of composting as a method of (re)using organic waste produced in the IFAL cafeteria - Campus Batalha, using it as a didactic-pedagogical element in the articulation between theory and practice with an end to meaningful learning. Composting is considered one of the most effective technologies in the management of organic waste and should allow the integration between different curricular components, such as, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Waste Management. In this sense, an educational product (EP) will be prepared in the form of an e-book that systematizes the workshops with the following themes: Brazilian National School Food Program (PNAE) and sustainability, problematization about the culture of waste and the hegemonic productive system and composting as a practice of (re)use of organic waste. The EP must be developed from pedagogical practices with a dialogical and problematizing perspective, in order to contribute to an integrated training in the context of Professional and Technological Education (PTE). The research is characterized by a qualitative approach of action-research type and the methodological instruments applied for the diagnosis of this research were the semi-structured questionnaires, carried out with the students of the 3rd grade of the Integrated High School to the Agribusiness Technician and collaborating professors. The results obtained point to the importance of PNAE in guaranteeing the human right to adequate food, which, associated with the practice of composting, presents itself as an important step towards sustainable development. Added to this, composting was identified as an instrument of articulation between theory and practice with a focus on interdisciplinarity.Item Alocação adequada do quadro geral de baixa tensão através da busca pelo caminho mais curto(2018) Abreu, Jacksiel José de; Cavalcante, Carlos Arthur Mattos Teixeira; Cavalcante, Carlos Arthur Mattos Teixeira; Sant’Anna, Ângelo Márcio Oliveira; Claudino, Elder de SouzaThe allocation of the low voltage electrical power general distribution board at buildings is determined by technical, normative and economical parameters. A properly allocation of the low voltage main board reduces the wiring lengths of the feeders and distribution circuits designed for the installations, and, consequently, reduces the deployment costs as well the operative costs (power consumption) related to power dissipation (Joule heating). This work aims to develop and apply an optimization model for the optimal location determination of the low voltage main board at houses, flats, commercial buildings and small industries. To solve this problem, it has been adopted a network optimization model to determine the shortest route to pass the conductors, in which results in costs reduction. For validation of the proposed solution, it was performed a case study, where, taking real parameters, the definition of an optimization technique executed in Excel Solver, has indicated a point considered as the optimal location of the low voltage main board. Then, the obtained results were compared to location returned by load center, method traditionally used. From this comparison, it was verified the efficiency of the suggested method assuring a reliable and economical decision making.Item Análise ambiental do lixão desativado no município de Palmeira dos Índios - Alagoas(2023-12-18) Silva, Elice Lira; Marques, Sheyla Karolina Justino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3917387578549073; Souza, Ronny Francisco Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7651317326903869; Rapôso, Áurea Luiza Quixabeira Rosa e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7600867517446003; Carvalho, Taíse Monique de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3638807736725706It is understood that solid waste management is considered a global issue, as without adequate management, it becomes a threat to public health and the environment. Population growth associated with consumerism increases the production of solid waste, which is sometimes led to irregular disposal. The National Solid Waste Policy, through law 12,305/2010, established the closure of landfills in Brazilian municipalities, with deactivation associated with compliance with control and monitoring of the degraded area. From this perspective, the work in question aimed to carry out an environmental analysis of the area occupied by the old landfill in the municipality of Palmeira dos Índios – Alagoas. To this end, visits were made to the old landfill, historical data survey of the area, analysis of the current scenario, identification of measures adopted for control and monitoring, characterization of the physical environment using the checklist method and analysis of physical-chemical parameters of the soil and surface waters. The analysis of the area showed that nonconformities are still found, presenting environmental degradation and, consequently, risks to public health, with the presence of superficially exposed waste, erosion on the slope with outcrops of waste, in addition to contamination by surface runoff. In the results of the physical-chemical analysis of the soil, the heavy metals cadmium, copper, lead, zinc, manganese and iron were detected, in addition to checking the slightly basic pH and organic matter. In line with CONAMA resolution no. 420/2009, the metals cadmium, copper, lead and zinc are below the values guided by national legislation. The iron concentrations found are indicative of mature MSW. The high pH values are consistent with areas that had greater contact with the percolate. The analysis of aromatic hydrocarbons in the soil revealed concentrations below what is recommended by legislation. In the investigation of surface water, higher concentrations of nitrate, electrical conductivity, total phosphorus, thermotolerant coliforms and total dissolved solids were identified, which denotes negative impacts on the area. In this location, there is a great possibility of leachate infiltration, which poses risks to the community, due to exposure to the open air, which leads to contamination of water in local sources. The process of environmental recovery of the former illegally disposed area is currently stagnant, not showing any active improvements.Item Análise da comunicação no setor operacional usando equações estruturais: uma ferramenta de apoio ao gerenciamento da informação(UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DA BAHIA - UFBA, 2021-06-15) Drigo, Edmara dos Santos; Rodríguez, Jorge Laureano Moya; http://orcid.org/0000-0003-0541-0191; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5576711447768585; Ávila Filho, Salvador; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5006-1501; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8080668192694401; Souza, Marcelo Embiruçu de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8281601894113525; Rodríguez; Rodriguez, Carlos Manuel Taboada; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2328-378X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5905893327298080; Leite, Jandecy Cabral; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1337-3549; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7279183940171317; Lima, Orlem Pinheiro de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1007-0734; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8148029403735260; Fontes, Cristiano Hora de Oliveira; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8020-6815; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8533422209857268The absence of actions to manage information in the operational sphere (on the shop floor) affects the communication quality in this sector. Communication problems, in turn, can negatively impact operational security and organizational culture. Thus, this study proposed a model to analyze communication in the operational sector using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. A mathematical model was presented, consisting of 1 exogenous latent variable, knowledge management, and 4 endogenous variables: (i) oral communication; (ii) written communication; (iii) Man interaction with information and communication technologies (ICTs); and (iv) the operational communication. The case study was carried out in a land-based oil production region in the Northeast of Brazil where data were collected through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale response. After analysis using the SEM, and using the same database, a supplementary study was carried out based on the development of a neuro- fuzzy model to assess information management in the operational sector. The SEM confirmed 6 of the 9 hypotheses proposed in the theoretical model. The results obtained showed that operational communication is directly influenced by knowledge management and by man interaction with ICTs. Written communication and oral communication had a direct influence on man interaction with ICTs and had an indirect influence on operational communication, thus, communication on the shop floor occurs predominantly through technologies. Knowledge management had a direct influence on the 4 endogenous variables, with strong explanatory and predictive relevance effects. The result of the neuro-fuzzy model showed that information management on the shop floor improves as actions are taken to acquire, store and distribute information about the operational routine. The model presented relevant contributions to the refinement of theory and practical contributions to support information management on the shop floor.Item Análise da inserção das plantas alimentícias não convencionais (PANC) na merenda escolar do município de Marechal Deodoro, Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-01-28) Amorim, Paloma Sena; Melo, Ingrid Sofia Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4727408608738222; Calheiros, Altanys Silva; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5985-6602; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9353777923030637; Melo, Joabe Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5180399418500159; Silva, Jose Pedro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1491552623899332Non-Conventional Edible Plants (PANC) are edible plants that are not commonly part of the daily diet for most of the population but have high nutritional potential and are integral to the cultural traditions of various communities. This study analyzed the feasibility of incorporating PANC into the school meals of Marechal Deodoro (AL) and developed educational materials to disseminate the findings. The research adopted a descriptive approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods, including bibliographic research, field research, and case studies. Data were analyzed using electronic spreadsheets and action research, allowing for the integration of analysis and practical application. The results showed that 65% of participants were unfamiliar with the term "PANC," yet 54% already consumed parts of these plants, demonstrating practical knowledge despite lacking familiarity with the terminology. All participants expressed interest in cultivating PANC, and 100% were willing to expand their production. Additionally, 83% reported learning about PANC through popular wisdom, highlighting the importance of traditional knowledge. Based on these findings, an educational material featuring recipes was developed to encourage the introduction of PANC into school meals, promoting nutritional awareness and strengthening local food practices.Item Análise da percepção da qualidade dos serviços educacionais em uma instituição de ensino pública federal: um modelo para avaliação institucional na educação profissional técnica de nível médio(2024) Ribeiro, Ricardo Luís Alves de Oliveira; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de Almeida; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Moura, Elton Oliveira deThis dissertation analyzes the perception of the quality of educational services in a federal public educational institution, proposing a model for institutional evaluation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The work was developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Vocational and Technological Education (ProfEPT) at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Benedito Bentes Campus. The research adopted a quantitative approach, using questionnaires based on the HEDPERF and SINAES models to collect data from students of technical courses. The model was tested and applied at IFAL - Satuba Campus in the medium-level integrated technical courses in Agroindustry and Agriculture. The results indicate that the quality dimensions most valued by students are Reputation, Access, Academic Aspects, and Academic and Professional Training. Statistical analysis confirmed the adequacy and validity of the proposed model, which can be used as an educational product for the continuous improvement of services offered by Federal Institutes. As a second educational product, a guide for using the model was developed. The originality of the work lies in the adaptation of quality evaluation models to the specific context of vocational and technological education, providing a robust tool for educational management.Item Análise da percepção de mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade em relação ao consumo ecossustentável de produtos de higiene menstrual(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-01-30) Silva, Mércia Dark Bastos da; Cunha, Mônica Ximenes Carneiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1775024859845111; Marques, Sheyla Karolina Justino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3917387578549073; Gaia, Rossana Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693This study focused on assessing the perception of women in situations of social vulnerability in relation to the eco-sustainable consumption of menstrual hygiene items, with special attention to the environmental impacts associated with the improper disposal of these products, as well as their composition and production process. The methodological path comprised four stages: (1) Systematic Literature Review; (2) Case study, incorporating interviews and focus group; (3) Content Analysis; and (4) Production of Technical and Technological Products, including Manuals for the use and production of reusable fabric pads, Didactic Manual of guidelines for a more sustainable and healthy menstrual cycle, Didactic Material of guidelines for a more sustainable and healthy menstrual cycle, and Social Technology – Reusable Fabric Pads. The results show that, for women in vulnerable situations, environmental perception is not one of the main factors influencing the adoption of reusable items. The lack of information, together with the limited availability of these products and economic conditions, emerged as determinants in this transition process. Thus, the need to democratize information is highlighted, promoting the autonomy of menstruating people and facilitating more accurate and ecologically conscious choices. The creation of educational materials, such as manuals and teaching resources, represents a practical contribution to empowering women, enabling informed and conscious choices regarding menstrual hygiene. These resources seek to disseminate information about the benefits of reusable products, encouraging more sustainable and healthy practices.
