Item 3D School: Desenvolvendo estratégias Maker para estudantes do ensino técnico integrado do curso eletrotécnica Campus Pesqueira – IFPE(2025-04-09) Alcantara, Eurlles Canuto de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9782-8458; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Moraes Junior, Edison Camilo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8234380347792761; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This dissertation investigates the introduction of Maker Culture in the context of integrated technical education in electrotechnics, aiming to transdisciplinarily integrate curricular content and explore the potential of emerging technologies such as 3D printing. The research stems from the observed need to connect the theoretical knowledge studied by students with practical and contemporary applications as a way to increase engagement and promote more meaningful learning. The study is justified by the researcher’s experience at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), Pesqueira campus, where a possible gap was identified in students’ direct contact with emerging technologies like 3D printing, despite the relevance of these tools to the field of electrotechnics. Additionally, the research addresses the issue of knowledge fragmentation, exploring the concepts of multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and primarily transdisciplinarity, advocating the latter as an approach capable of integrating different fields of knowledge in the learning process. The central problem of this dissertation lies in how to incorporate Maker Culture transdisciplinarily into the integrated technical electrotechnics course at IFPE, Pesqueira campus. The general objective is to identify ways to implement Maker Culture from this perspective, using emerging technologies. The specific objectives include allowing students to explore creativity and develop soft skills through teamwork, creating 3D-printed objects to assemble a scaled-down micro wind turbine, and finally, developing a didactic sequence that systematizes the process. It is believed that the Maker Culture approach, by stimulating experimentation and the practical application of knowledge, can promote meaningful learning, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, and preparing students for the technological challenges of the 21st century. The dissertation also highlights the importance of meaningful learning, based on Ausubel’s theory, as a key element in transforming the educational process. In summary, this research seeks to contribute to the modernization of technical education by proposing an innovative pedagogical approach that values creativity, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge through the integration of Maker Culture and transdisciplinarity into the electrotechnics course at IFPE Pesqueira. The development of the didactic sequence aims to materialize this proposal, serving as a resource for future implementations and studies in the field.Item A educação escolar e a formação de dirigentes: espaços de formação política das lideranças estudantis do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-01) Oliveira, Hellen Carolyne Barbosa de; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Hollerbach, Dra. Joana D’Arc Germano; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5888935341011338The process of political education in the school context is hampered by ideological disputes and conflicting conceptions. Based on the understanding that the ethical-political dimension is an inseparable part of an emancipatory human education, which guarantees students their insertion in social life through full access to cultural assets produced throughout the history of humanity, this research addresses the formation of student leaders and the organization of spaces for political education in Professional and Technological Education, taking as a focus the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Its objective is to analyze the process of organizing a pedagogical space in Integrated High School aimed at political education through the organization of student events. The methodological premise of the research is the qualitative-quantitative approach, of the participatory, exploratory and applied research type developed in four stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic review was carried out on themes that permeated the construction of the research, such as political education in the school space and the development of student leaders. The second stage consisted of conducting a diagnosis, which occurred through active observation of the campus under study and the application of a questionnaire to the research participants, students who participate in student representation spaces. In the third stage, a prototype of the educational product was developed, which consists of an instructional guide for students on organizing events. The last stage corresponded to the application and evaluation of the developed educational product. To analyze the data obtained from the application and evaluation of the educational product, content analysis and descriptive statistics were used. The result was the design of a didactic/instructional guide on organizing events for students, as a proposal for structuring a formal space in Integrated High School that contributes to the work of political formation and development of student leadership. The research evidenced the lack of material on organizing events adapted for students, despite it being a recurring activity in the times and school spaces of Professional and Technological Education, which relies on the active participation and direction of student leaders. It was observed that the lack of systematized knowledger students about the event activity limited the experimentation of these spaces through intuitive learning or from previous experiences with other organizers. Ingeneral, based on the participants' evaluation of the material created, there was a prevalence of high acceptance in relation to its contribution to the proposed purpose.Item A formação de professores para a educação inclusiva no ensino técnico: legislação e diretrizes(2022) Souza, Jairo José de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Santos; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; Santos, Adriana Cavalcanti dos; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares deThe issue of people with disabilities is a prominent debate in society, despite there are affirmative public policies, such as quotas for PCDs in the selection of vacancies in public schools and even in vacancies for private companies. The educational issue on the inclusion of this audience still involves improvisation, either institutional or personal, of each educator. While it is still a challenge to include students in professional education following legal regulations, this project aims to investigate, analyze and discuss the issue of inclusion of students with specific needs, in addition to diagnosing compliance with legislation, guidelines and policies for inclusive education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL, and investigate the meaning that inclusive education gains in the practice of educators in the classroom; getting to know, through the speeches of the interviewed educators, as an experience of living with students with specific needs in the classroom; investigate how this inclusion process can generate new didactic-pedagogical practices for these educators; and propose an educational product in the form of a booklet that guides managers and teachers on good practices regarding the inclusion of students with specific needs and after the collection of data that were used and triangulated and that served in a complementary way to create a second product educational in application format, where the booklet is displayed online and accessible to everyone. This topic has been widely debated by scholars of education, psychology and psych pedagogy, since the inclusion of students with disabilities, whether physical, mental, auditory, visual, or others, has been an increasingly constant reality in teaching classrooms. basic and superior. The research is methodologically based on the qualitative method and as a data collection instrument the semi-structured interview, carried out with eleven IFAL teachers who have students with specific needs in their classrooms. The theoretical framework adopted here is that of Socio-Historical Psychology, which sees subjects as active, social and historical. The results indicated that educational products allowed greater exhibition of the theme about inclusive education in technical education and compliance with legislation, policy guidelines and proposals at IFAL, in addition to providing an interest of teachers in joining the use of educational products in classes with to students with specific educational needs, as the interaction with the application can be a potential tool for dealing with problems related to accessibility in the teaching of students with specific educational needs.Item A história do curso técnico de eletrônica: promovendo a valorização e sensibilização da comunidade discente no combate à evasão na educação profissional(2022) Fidelis, Mariluze da Silva Vieira; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Castilho, Fábio Fancisco de Almeida; Souza, Maria de Fátima Matos deThe present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, The present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, at Campus Maceió, in order to alleviate the problem in the context of the course, building proposals that help the student's permanence in the integration of studies. The investigation focuses on the complexity of the subject, which involves personal, family, institutional and political factors. The study methodology has a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data were collected in 2020 and 2021, through the application of online questionnaires, made possible by Google Forms. Subsequently, in order to continue the systematization of the Educational Product (EP), we carried out another data collection, using the technique of the conversation circle through the virtual rooms of Google Meet. We also sent another questionnaire through Google Forms to 344 students of the electronics course. As an educational product, we systematized a photographic exhibition to give visibility and value to student identities and their knowledge produced within the scope of the Integrated Technical Electronics Course, this proposal is classified in the extension activity typology, according to a document from the Capes teaching area for masters professionals. It is understood that this problem is associated with the diversity of professionals and students that make up the Federal Institutes, as verified in other realities, by scholars on the subject. Finally, this problem becomes characteristic of the dynamism of inclusion. According to a survey of the evaluation of the Educational Product, carried out during the period of the photographic exhibition, the IFAL community, especially the students, expressed significant approval, especially regarding the information on the history of the Institute. Another important data, which reflects the acceptance of the exhibition, refers to the number of visitors, which was visited by 156 people.Item A interdisciplinaridade e a gamificação: as tecnologias digitais no ensino da língua espanhola no contexto da EPT(2023) Coimbra, Renata Portela das Chagas; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Francisco, Deise JulianaOver the years, Spanish language (SL) teaching has had different goals and purposes, and has been performed using different approaches and methodologies. Currently, in the context of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Ifal), there is a focus on public policies oriented towards widely expanding language teaching for students and employees. There is special motivation for the proposal of meaningful Spanish teaching for students of the Integrated Middle Level Technical Course in Agroecology. The language is offered in the final year of the course curriculum. The issue driving this research arises from the challenge of performing a pedagogical practice that offers an opportunity for dialogue between the two areas of the course: the specific training area of the course curriculum (Professional Curriculum), and the Basic Curriculum, in which SL is inserted. This investigation sought to propose subsidies based on interdisciplinary pedagogical practice through the use of gamification as a teaching methodology. The epistemological and analytical basis that guided this research was historicaldialectical materialism. This research is of a qualitative nature and fulfills exploratory and descriptive purposes. The collaborative action-research method was adopted, which was developed in four phases: diagnostic research and data analysis; elaboration of the educational product (EP); application of the EP and results; adjustments and evaluation of the EP. The target audience of the research were teachers in the Basic Curriculum (propaedeutics, a curricular component of the Spanish Language) and from the Professional Curriculum (teachers in the technical area) of the course. Thematic analysis was the technique used for organizing and discussing data in the qualitative research. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicated that professors are adept at the use of digital technologies and active methodologies, and that there is a lack of actions that enable dialogic praxis and the development of interdisciplinary work. The investigation demonstrated the need for continuing training to improve the use of digital technologies and gamification. To fill this gap, Spanish language teachers were proposed to create a collaborative educational product in the form of an interactive and interdisciplinary e-book. The teaching material was elaborated in a collaborative and participatory way with the SL teachers in the research location. The EP results showed that the material had a positive effect due to its organization, content and structure. Its interdisciplinary approach will enable dialogue between the different areas of the course, and it will recommended to professors of other curricular components in the Basic Curriculum.Item A participação de pais ou responsáveis nos processos de gestão da educação profissional e tecnológica do Ifal(2023) Alencar, Rendrikson Gonçalves; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Gomes, Maria das Graças Correia; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de OliveiraThe theme of this study is the participation of parents or guardians in management processes at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is an applied research project that aims to systematize educational practices for management work within the scope of Ifal. Located in the Teaching Area and developed in the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the research line Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in EPT, it takes a methodological perspective with a qualitative approach. The universe of analysis is made up of the parents or guardians of students and the staff of the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams of two Ifal campuses located in the Sertão Alagoano Mesoregion. The methodological procedure used was documentary and bibliographic research and the application of structured questionnaires in three stages: I) Diagnostic research into the spaces for participation by parents or guardians in management and the management practices carried out at Ifal; II) Definition and development of the educational prototype/product; III) Application, testing and evaluation of the Prototype. When evaluating the product, the participants considered the quality of the material, its suitability for the profile of the target audience and the relevance of the content presented. The results of the discussion led to the creation of an Educational Product for evaluation by staff from the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams, with the aim of using it as a training tool for parents or guardians. The results of the study indicate that it is still necessary to develop information and training channels that promote the participation of parents or guardians in the management of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), so that the spaces guaranteed in institutional regulations strengthen democratic and participatory management.Item A utilização de softwares, sites e suportes de aprendizagem matemático: desbravando os segredos da matemática(2024-07-15) Silva, Josivaldo da; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Barbosa, Isnaldo Isaac; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8346517003296057; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345The investigation of students' difficulties in mathematics in everyday school life and in learning processes, through social contexts that constitute the school, the community and society. From there, it proposes the construction of an Educational Product entitled: Mathematical Learning Support Program: A didactic approach in Integrated High School, with the intention of supporting the treatment of the issue within the scope of Teaching in the Integrated Technical Computer Course. The research was developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal). The present study is justified by bringing a theme that can contribute to the learning of Integrated High School students, the development and knowledge of digital platforms, involving websites and software in learning from this perspective. Its objective is to resolve existing difficulties faced by students. To do this, we analyzed how issues related to the subject of mathematics appear in the teaching-learning process and in everyday school life from the perspective of Karl Marx's historical materialism (1993). The present research is of the action research type, with a collaborative bias and of a qualitative-quantitative nature based on the principles of participatory research (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011). The locus of the research was the Rio Largo Campus, and the research participants were 3 groups of volunteers (students): (1) students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the Integrated Technical IT Course at the Rio Largo Campus, in this case we had the class A, B and C with A: 35 participants, class B: with 30 participants and C with 26 participants, the three groups of students totaled 91 participants; (2) the teachers who teach mathematics in this Integrated Technical Course in IT totaled 3 teachers. The aim is, with the results of the research, to contribute to an omnilateral training (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2012; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) which, considering the social contexts of origin of the students, and the role of mathematics, in the process of learning, which integrates the dimensions of work, science and culture, managing to reach as many people as possible and thus contributing to this updated training in professional and technological education.Item Abordagem dos temas contemporâneos transversais no Proeja com foco na macroárea temática cidadania e civismo(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-02-01) Valido, Janeíne de Oliveira; Lima, Antonio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Rita de Cássia Souto Maior Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1312070903160476; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3382-3786; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569This This research aims to reflect on the importance of Transversal Contemporary Themes (TCTs), part of the Citizenship and Civics macro-area, for the comprehensive training of students in the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education Modality (PROJECT). Methodologically, this study is qualitative in nature, of the action research type, based on Oliveira (2016), Minayo (2009) and Thiollent (2011), whose methodological instruments include the application of questionnaires to teachers and students of this modality, with a view to producing and applying didactic sequences produced with a focus on the use of audiovisual materials; culminating in the production of an e-book, which is configured as a pedagogical instrument aimed at approaching TCT in Youth and Adult Education with a view to the citizenship training of students served in this modality. As a theoretical reference, we used the contributions of authors such as: Arroyo (2008), Azevedo and Tavares (2015), Carvalho et al (2020), De Lira (2018), Freire (2002), Gadotti (2009), Ramos (2008), Santos, (2014), Silva (2021), Thiollent (2011). To analyze the data obtained in the research, Content Analysis was used, according to Bardin (2016). The research was applied to the Cooking course – PROEJA at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Marechal Deodoro, with a sample of 9 teachers and 50 students distributed across different modules of the course. As a conclusion of the research, we highlight that the teaching offered in Youth and Adult Education needs meaning in view of its purpose, where different views and new teaching methods can promote student protagonism. The approach of TCTs in the classroom enables the formation of a subject who is knowledgeable about their rights and duties, since they dialogue with the reality of different social groups, especially with regard to those in the macro-area of Citizenship and Civics.Item Alimentação escolar e sustentabilidade: compostagem como método de (re)aproveitamento dos resíduos orgânicos produzidos no refeitório do Ifal - Campus Batalha(2021) Mélo, Thaisa Martins Porto de Souza; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Oliveira, Maria Alice Araújo; Pereira, Álvaro Itaúna Schalcher; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da SilvaThis investigation is linked to the research line Educational Practices in EPT and the macroproject Methodological proposals and didactic resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT aims to develop sustainable practices in order to sensitize students and other segments of the school community to issues related to environmental, economical and social sustainability. The main objective is to promote the practice of composting as a method of (re)using organic waste produced in the IFAL cafeteria - Campus Batalha, using it as a didactic-pedagogical element in the articulation between theory and practice with an end to meaningful learning. Composting is considered one of the most effective technologies in the management of organic waste and should allow the integration between different curricular components, such as, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Waste Management. In this sense, an educational product (EP) will be prepared in the form of an e-book that systematizes the workshops with the following themes: Brazilian National School Food Program (PNAE) and sustainability, problematization about the culture of waste and the hegemonic productive system and composting as a practice of (re)use of organic waste. The EP must be developed from pedagogical practices with a dialogical and problematizing perspective, in order to contribute to an integrated training in the context of Professional and Technological Education (PTE). The research is characterized by a qualitative approach of action-research type and the methodological instruments applied for the diagnosis of this research were the semi-structured questionnaires, carried out with the students of the 3rd grade of the Integrated High School to the Agribusiness Technician and collaborating professors. The results obtained point to the importance of PNAE in guaranteeing the human right to adequate food, which, associated with the practice of composting, presents itself as an important step towards sustainable development. Added to this, composting was identified as an instrument of articulation between theory and practice with a focus on interdisciplinarity.Item Análise da percepção da qualidade dos serviços educacionais em uma instituição de ensino pública federal: um modelo para avaliação institucional na educação profissional técnica de nível médio(2024) Ribeiro, Ricardo Luís Alves de Oliveira; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de Almeida; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Moura, Elton Oliveira deThis dissertation analyzes the perception of the quality of educational services in a federal public educational institution, proposing a model for institutional evaluation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training. The work was developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Vocational and Technological Education (ProfEPT) at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Benedito Bentes Campus. The research adopted a quantitative approach, using questionnaires based on the HEDPERF and SINAES models to collect data from students of technical courses. The model was tested and applied at IFAL - Satuba Campus in the medium-level integrated technical courses in Agroindustry and Agriculture. The results indicate that the quality dimensions most valued by students are Reputation, Access, Academic Aspects, and Academic and Professional Training. Statistical analysis confirmed the adequacy and validity of the proposed model, which can be used as an educational product for the continuous improvement of services offered by Federal Institutes. As a second educational product, a guide for using the model was developed. The originality of the work lies in the adaptation of quality evaluation models to the specific context of vocational and technological education, providing a robust tool for educational management.Item Análise preditiva da evasão escolar no ensino médio integrado do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-04-26) Cunha, Fabrício Willian da; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5204293561529304; Lima, Cosmo Rufino de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9005310724269606; Pontes , Edel Alexandre da SilvaProfessional and Technological Education in Brazil has developed in terms of the number of students enrolled. In addition to this development, there has been an increase in school dropout rates. This research generally intends to investigate the variables that can be used in the modeling of predictive analysis of school dropout in Integrated High School (Agricultural Course) of IFAL - Campus Satuba. The problem question that is intended to be answered is: what variable trends can be used in a predictive analysis model, according to the dropout student profile that can measure the probability of school dropout risk in the scope of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) at the average level offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) - Campus Satuba? For this, a study was carried out in the technical course integrated to the high school in agriculture at IFAL - Campus Satuba. The methodology of this investigation was of the action-research type, since its methodological procedures are strongly linked to an interventionist action. The present research, regarding the approach and its nature, is of the mixed type, qualitative and quantitative. The data collection instruments were: official data from the academic system of the Academic Registration Coordination of the Campus, modalities applied to incoming students and interviews with the servants who attended directly in the course. The technique for analyzing the data used is predictive analysis, machine learning algorithms, binary logistic regression and statistical-mathematical model. The database was formed by the profile of students who dropped out from 2014 to 2019; A comparison was made with the profiles of students with active enrollment in the 2nd and 3rd years of the 2022 school year and also compared with the profile of students entering for the 2023 school year.Item As contribuições de um produto educacional para inclusão do suporte básico de vida na organização curricular da educação profissional e tecnológica(2022) Andrade, Andreza Gomes de; Filho, Adalberon Moreira de Lima; Filho, Adalberon Moreira de Lima; Lima, André Suêldo de; Nascimento, Carlos Queiroz doBasic Life Support is theoretical and practical training aimed at identifying signs of cardiorespiratory arrest, considering that this is the most serious cardiac emergency. Thus, it is important to provide, in the school environment, opportunities aimed at reflections on how to act in emergencies, where it is necessary to apply first aid techniques, training students and preparing future workers to face these situations. The objective was to propose the elaboration of a didactic resource that uses cordel literature to teach Basic Life Support for students at High School Integrated to Professional Education in cordel. The research methodology in this study was of the action-research type and developed in four phases, namely: 1st) diagnostic phase; 2nd) phase of elaboration of the educational product through the development of workshops on Basic Life Support. And finally, the 4th) evaluation phase of the educational product. Questionnaires were used as instruments for data collection. The participants of this research were students enrolled in High School integrated to professional courses. The results indicate, through the diagnostic phase, that among the 150 participating students, 54% have someone in the family with heart problems, but only 2% knew how to identify a cardiorespiratory arrest. After the diagnostic phase, an Educational Product was prepared using string literature on Basic Life Support. The workshop was divided into a) declamation of the string, b) realistic simulation, c) simulation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, c) simulation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, d) discussion on the theme, clarification of doubts, e) application of an evaluative questionnaire for the workshops and educational product, f) research of satisfaction. The evaluative questionnaire consisted of 13 questions, 2 of which were open-ended and the others multiple-choice about the expected actions in the face of a cardiorespiratory arrest. The classes were divided according to the workload of 1 hour and 2 hours, but there was no variation in relation to the absorption of the contents taught. Although it would be expected to obtain greater performance in classes with a workload of 2 hours. When applying the satisfaction survey, 100% of the students stated that the workshop contributed to their professional life, approving the educational product, and stating that they would recommend the workshop. The research enabled improvement in learning and Basic Life Support skills for high school students integrated into professional education, the use of string was approved as an innovative teaching strategy. The research made it possible to perceive the need to address issues related to first aid, for the student’s academic and professional development, for the world of work. Regarding the contributions of the insertion of Basic Life Support in integrated secondary education, it was possible to observe a significant gain in learning for students, who, when meeting the cordel and the theme presented, aroused their interest in helping to save lives. In this way, complex contents in the health area were taught in a light and attractive way in Integrated High School, through education that opens doors, to transform society.Item Book Trailer: uma ferramenta de aprendizagem significativa para desenvolver a competência leitora por meio da multimodalidade e da tradução intersemiótica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-04-25) Santos, Verônica Ribeiro dos; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This study aimed to investigate the pedagogical potential of the book trailer—a short video inspired by the logic of movie trailers—as a didactic tool for developing reading competence in the context of professional and technological education. The research was conducted with students from a technical course integrated into high school at the Federal Institute of Bahia, through the application of a didactic sequence composed of six workshops. Grounded in theories of multimodal reading, multiliteracies, intersemiotic translation, intermediality, active methodologies, and meaningful learning, the study analysed how literary mediation through digital information and communication technologies can promote more meaningful, critical, and contextualized reading practices. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed using coding and thematic analysis, from which three main themes emerged: (1) understanding multimodal language and intersemiotic translation; (2) the use of digital technologies in literature teaching; and (3) experience with active methodologies and meaningful learning. The results indicated that the book trailer appears to foster student engagement, increase interest in literary reading, and enable meaning-making through the articulation of linguistic, aesthetic, and technological resources. The research also highlights the challenges of implementing such practices in public education contexts, including material and time constraints, but suggests feasible paths for their replication and expansion. It is concluded that the book trailer, as a practice of reading and intersemiotic translation, can contribute to reading skills in technological education, aligning with the contemporary demands of critical and multimodal education.Item Campi Centenário do IFAL como lugares de memória e de identidade: documentário como instrumento de preservação Institucional(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-07-28) Santos, Gerônimo Vicente dos; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de AlmeidaThe research had as object of study the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) of Maceió and Satuba, both with more than 100 years of existence. This secular period gave rise to the practice of forgetting a past built and intertwined by different generations of civil servants, students and members of the external community. The general objective of the research was to produce, as educational material, a documentary about the centenary campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas as places of memory and identity. Among the specific objectives were focused, the intention to awaken in public servants, students and in other publics of interests, memories and institutional belonging feeling and to propose suggestions of services of stimulus to the memory and the institutional preservation that can be added to Ifal's documentary and material safeguard structure. The work presents, as an educational product, a 35-minute documentary, whose content focuses on the history of professional and technological education that is part of the federal public network in Alagoas, with testimonials from social actors involved in the reminiscences of the Ifal teaching units in Maceio and Satuba. With the research, results were sought about the preservation and rescue of elements that configure the institutional memory of the pioneering campuses of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in the State. The investigative study, of the collaborative action research type, presented a qualitative approach, whose methodological instruments included in the data collection, observation, theoretical references, oral interview, application of questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and conversation circles, activities that were applied together to the academic community, graduates and former public servants. The diagnostic research had the participation of 63 interviewees, 43 of whom answered through digital questionnaires and 20 through oral interviews. As a result, there was a lack of definition about the storage of institutional memory on the Maceió and Satuba campuses. The absence of institutional preservation was verified as strategic objectives of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of Ifal and there was relaxation in terms of organization and control of safeguarding institutional memory in both administrations of the researched teaching units.Item Competência em Informação na educação profissional e tecnológica: uma abordagem no curso técnico de nível médio integrado em química(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 0015-08-25) Oliveira, Maria Luzia Alexandre de; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Carneiro, Tereza Kelly Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3305071338937583; Santos, Maria do Socorro Ferreira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1039898435623128This research aims to problematize and analyze issues related to Information Literacy in the context of Vocational and Technological Education, with participants consisting of third-year students of the Integrated Technical Course in Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - Penedo Campus. The methodology is qualitative action research, developed in four stages: (1) Diagnostic research and data analysis; (2) Development of the Educational Product (EP); (3) Implementation of the EP and results obtained; (4) Adjustments and evaluation of the EP. The data analysis technique used was thematic content analysis for qualitative data and basic statistics for quantitative data. The research highlighted the need to work with Integrated High School students on concepts related to Information Literacy, considering their preference for accessing online information sources. Therefore, an Educational Product (EP) in course format was developed to promote and improve these students' information literacy skills, as well as to develop greater critical thinking and reflection regarding the process of searching, retrieving, and using information on the internet. The results of the Educational Product evaluation were positive, considering that the content related to Information Literacy contributed to the students' development. We concluded that Information Literacy is an important aspect to work with Integrated High School students, as it enables lifelong learning. We hope that other educators (librarians and teachers) will also work on this topic in other Professional and Technological Education (EPT) settings.Item Conselho escolar na rede de educação profissional e tecnológica: orientação à participação engajada no conselho de campus(2021) Araújo , Rosiene Silva de; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Meirelles , Nelson Vieira da Silva; Ferreira, Ruth Vasconcelos Lopes; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de AlmeidaThe perspective of an integral education, defended by the Brazilian Constitution of 1988, fits together with constitutional determination for the implantation of democratic management as educational principle. Also called participative management, this kind of management consists of development of everyone engaged direct or indirectly in educational process, aiming the establishment of goals, problems solutions, decision makings and proposition of action plans (LÜCK, 2011). The Law of Guidelines and Basis of Education of 1996, presents three topics in defense of this management model: a) the school Council or parents and professors‟ associations, b) the curriculum pedagogic project and c) the election of school director (NÓBREGA et al., 2011). In the present work, we have focused at scholar Council, a collegiate body representative of entire community. The research goal was inquiring how the students glimpse the way by how de institution is managed, as well as, understand how was the participation of those students at the process of implementation of Campus Council at the analyzed school and if there was their intention at participate of decision-making process. Therefore, the researchers applied questionnaires and interviews with students, representants of the union movement and the student union who acts at the institution and consulted documents about the subject. Concomitantly, a booklet was elaborated, in scoping to counsel the community, mainly the students, about the school Council importance, aiming to stimulate an engaged participation at the Council. As a result, it could be verified a low students‟ knowledge about the Council and the need of their approximation to the school management, once the responders recognize themselves as excluded from de decision-making process. In relation to the booklet, is expected that it could be a tool for the students‟ engaged participation at the Campus Council and be able to understand the need to exercise their citizenship in an active way, by acting and inspecting the offered service by the school institution which they are part of, and therefore, of the others public services they are also users.Item A contribuição da educação física na formação integral dos estudantes do ensino médio integrado do IFAL que buscam ascensão social e profissional através do futebol(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-30) Duarte, Arlene Leão de Lima; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; : http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Leão, Iberê Caldas de SouzaThis research, developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/IFAL), aimed to identify the contribution of Physical Education in the comprehensive education of IFAL Integrated High School students, who seek social and professional ascension through the practice of football, bringing the importance of Professional and Technological Education beyond job preparation, highlighting it as a transformative agent for human beings. This research generated scientific insights that enhance students' personal development, as well as making a great contribution to teachers who are responsible for conducting the training process.Item Contribuições da contação de histórias para a formação integral: caminhos criativos e humanizados em aulas de língua portuguesa(2022) Oliveira, Gicele Rose dos Santos; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Nascimento, Maria Edna Porongaba doIn the school context, story-telling can provide both students and teachers with the possibility of appropriating, disseminating and producing their cultures, promoting different ways of reading the world, oneself and the most immediate environment that surround him. From this perspective, the present research aims to reflect on the place of this practice, story-telling, in the process of integral formation in Portuguese language classes. Since it is research situated in an educational context, whose commitment is also related to social transformation, this study is anchored in the perspective of Content Analysis (CA) and is characterized as qualitative in nature, of the action research type. From experiences with students of a Technical Course Integrated to High School in Agroindustry of Instituto Federal de Alagoas, which constituted themselves as research subjects, participating in workshops and answering questionnaires, it was concluded that storytelling, by allowing to these students to experience experiences that contemplate different aspects of the human dimension, it contributes to the construction of knowledge, in a process of significant learning that culminates in the integral human formation. This is due to the humanizing, dynamic and creative character of this practice in the teaching and learning process. As a research action, an Educational Product (EP) is presented, a "Workshop Notebook", whose objective is to contribute to this practice, as a complementary resource in Portuguese, to be incorporated into the curriculum of Technical Education Integrated to High School with a view to comprehensive training.Item Contribuições dos técnicos administrativos em educação nos processos de inclusão na educação profissional e tecnológica(2021) Alves, Hérlei Mariano Martins; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Hummel, Eromi Izabel; Silva, Géssika Cecília Carvalho da; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de AlmeidaThis research, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT / Ifal), is based on the theme of school inclusion, in an educational perspective that aims to overcome the inequalities and exclusion marks that have historically characterized Brazilian education. In this sense, the main part of this investigation is analyzed as contributions of administrative technicians in education in the processes of inclusion in Professional and Technological Education, offering, as an Educational Product, a course on school inclusion for administrative technicians in education at Ifal / Santana do Ipanema campus. From a methodological point of view, the investigation is affiliated with a qualitative approach, anchored in the methodology of action research. In the diagnostic stage, through a semi-structured questionnaire, the mapping of the investigated context involved the participation of 24 administrative technicians in education, located on the Ifal campus in Santana do Ipanema, and 11 administrative technicians in education, located in another five Ifal campuses. Then, the Educational Product was elaborated, materialized in a course on school inclusion, which was applied to 20 administrative technicians in education from Ifal, 14 from the Santana do Ipanema campus and 06 with representation from five other Ifal fields. After application, the Educational Product was submitted to the evaluation of the research participants, taking into account the methodological assumptions of action research, with its collaborative character. The data in the literature survey revealed that studies on inclusion, for the most part, look at the teacher-student relationship and disregard the educational work carried out in school spaces other than the classroom. However, as reflections raised during this investigation demonstrate that there are, within the scope of Ifal, privileged institutional spaces in the promotion and promotion of inclusive policies. These spaces allow administrative technicians in education to act in the inclusion processes. In this sense, the results indicate the importance of considering a pedagogical dimension in the performance of the administrative technician in education, ensuring, in turn, training in the perspective of school inclusion.Item Decolonialidades e ensino de espanhol: uma pesquisa-ação colaborativa na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica(2023) Santos, Gustavo Correia dos ; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Meniconi, Flávia Colen; Lima, Jeylla Salomé Barbosa dos SantosThis research, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal), has as its main objective to identify how the practices of Spanish language teachers at Ifal take place - whether they are guided by a colonial perspective, by a decolonial or even a mixed perspective – in addition to understanding the fundamentals of this process. In order to do so, we analyzed how issues related to Latin American languages, cultures and identities are presented in a natural and real context: the classroom (MATOS, 2018, 2019, 2020). The investigative study is qualitative and its theoretical framework is anchored in studies concerning collaborative action research (PIMENTA, 2007; IBIAPINA, 2008) and the different action research modalities (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011), whose methodological instruments are: i) application of questionnaires, ii) conducting interviews, iii) production of autobiographical narratives. The research results aim to contribute to an omnilateral (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2009; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) and decolonial (FREIRE, 1987; CANDAU, 2016; MIGNOLO, 2008; QUIJANO, 2000) training ; CASTRO-GÓMEZ and GROSFOGUEL, 2007; MALDONADO-TORRES, 2007; WALSH, 2009) of Spanish Language teachers based on the association between the dimensions of work, science and culture in the training process from the Educational Product (PE) that had as objective the offer of a Colloquium, in which the participation of Spanish Language teachers at Ifal took place on a voluntary basis. The Event subsidized the production of a Portfolio, containing all the steps taken for its elaboration, which is part of the NP elaboration process. As a result, we found that the teaching practice of the Spanish Language curricular component occurs in a mixed way, that is, sometimes colonially and sometimes decolonially. This is due, in large part, to the initial training of the teachers involved in this investigative process. In addition, with regard to the concepts of language, culture and Latin American identities, there is a consensus among teachers in stating that language and culture are inseparable, so that it is not possible to teach a language without passing through the culture of the people who speaks that language, since both, according to the teachers, are the mark of a people. In short, despite this teaching practice, at times, being colonial, which justifies the educational product of this dissertation, it should be noted that the investigated public recognizes that from a decolonial education it is possible to transform the pattern of power relations, knowing and being.
