Item Abordagem dos temas contemporâneos transversais no Proeja com foco na macroárea temática cidadania e civismo(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-02-01) Valido, Janeíne de Oliveira; Lima, Antonio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Lima, Rita de Cássia Souto Maior Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1312070903160476; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3382-3786; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569This This research aims to reflect on the importance of Transversal Contemporary Themes (TCTs), part of the Citizenship and Civics macro-area, for the comprehensive training of students in the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education Modality (PROJECT). Methodologically, this study is qualitative in nature, of the action research type, based on Oliveira (2016), Minayo (2009) and Thiollent (2011), whose methodological instruments include the application of questionnaires to teachers and students of this modality, with a view to producing and applying didactic sequences produced with a focus on the use of audiovisual materials; culminating in the production of an e-book, which is configured as a pedagogical instrument aimed at approaching TCT in Youth and Adult Education with a view to the citizenship training of students served in this modality. As a theoretical reference, we used the contributions of authors such as: Arroyo (2008), Azevedo and Tavares (2015), Carvalho et al (2020), De Lira (2018), Freire (2002), Gadotti (2009), Ramos (2008), Santos, (2014), Silva (2021), Thiollent (2011). To analyze the data obtained in the research, Content Analysis was used, according to Bardin (2016). The research was applied to the Cooking course – PROEJA at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Marechal Deodoro, with a sample of 9 teachers and 50 students distributed across different modules of the course. As a conclusion of the research, we highlight that the teaching offered in Youth and Adult Education needs meaning in view of its purpose, where different views and new teaching methods can promote student protagonism. The approach of TCTs in the classroom enables the formation of a subject who is knowledgeable about their rights and duties, since they dialogue with the reality of different social groups, especially with regard to those in the macro-area of Citizenship and Civics.Item Análise da percepção de mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade em relação ao consumo ecossustentável de produtos de higiene menstrual(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-01-30) Silva, Mércia Dark Bastos da; Cunha, Mônica Ximenes Carneiro da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1775024859845111; Marques, Sheyla Karolina Justino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3917387578549073; Gaia, Rossana Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693This study focused on assessing the perception of women in situations of social vulnerability in relation to the eco-sustainable consumption of menstrual hygiene items, with special attention to the environmental impacts associated with the improper disposal of these products, as well as their composition and production process. The methodological path comprised four stages: (1) Systematic Literature Review; (2) Case study, incorporating interviews and focus group; (3) Content Analysis; and (4) Production of Technical and Technological Products, including Manuals for the use and production of reusable fabric pads, Didactic Manual of guidelines for a more sustainable and healthy menstrual cycle, Didactic Material of guidelines for a more sustainable and healthy menstrual cycle, and Social Technology – Reusable Fabric Pads. The results show that, for women in vulnerable situations, environmental perception is not one of the main factors influencing the adoption of reusable items. The lack of information, together with the limited availability of these products and economic conditions, emerged as determinants in this transition process. Thus, the need to democratize information is highlighted, promoting the autonomy of menstruating people and facilitating more accurate and ecologically conscious choices. The creation of educational materials, such as manuals and teaching resources, represents a practical contribution to empowering women, enabling informed and conscious choices regarding menstrual hygiene. These resources seek to disseminate information about the benefits of reusable products, encouraging more sustainable and healthy practices.Item Análise do desempenho de argamassa de assentamento com substituição parcial do agregado miúdo por embalagens cartonadas trituradas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-10-20) Carvalho, Juliana Lira Brito de; Marques, Sheyla Karolina Justino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3917387578549073; Souza, Ronny Francisco Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7651317326903869; Rapôso, Áurea Luiza Quixabeira Rosa e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7600867517446003; Gondim, Priscylla Cinthya Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7727315802596668Due to its composition, post-consumer carton packs have great potential to be used as an input in the manufacture of new products. In this context, this research aimed to analyze the performance of partial replacement of fine aggregate by triturated carton packages in the development of a masonry mortar. The methodology was divided into the following steps: elaboration of a systematic literature review; collection, preparation and comminution of carton packages; characterization of raw materials; definition of the reference and experimental compositions; performance of technological tests; and analysis of results. In the fine aggregate, granulometric analysis was performed. The by-product, Triturated Cartons Packages (ECT), was characterized by Chemical Analysis by X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The proportion of 1:6 of volume of cement and fine aggregate was adopted as reference and experimental compositions were determined with substitutions of 5%, 10% and 15% of volume of aggregate by ECT, being molded and tested 5 specimens for each composition. The tests of Consistency Index, Compressive Strength, Water Absorption by Immersion and SEM of Fracture Surface were performed. It was carried out the correlation analysis between the average values of the properties and the percentage of ECT replacement. As for the results of the Consistency Index test, the mortars with ECT replacement showed a small reduction, but they remained in the range presented in the literature. Regarding Compressive Strength, the mortars with replacement of 5%, 10% and 15% showed average values of 7.57 MPa, 6.52 MPa and 6.07 MPa, respectively. Mortars with ECT showed a low rate of Water Absorption by Immersion, when compared to literature data. The statistical analysis revealed that all properties studied have strong correlation with the percentage of ECT replacement. The SEM of the Fractured Surface found the highest number of voids and the presence of microcracks in the samples with the highest percentages of ECT. Finally, the accomplishment of this study proved to be relevant in the context of the development of new technical materials, presenting to the market the mortar with triturated post-consumer carton packages.Item Análise preditiva da evasão escolar no ensino médio integrado do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-04-26) Cunha, Fabrício Willian da; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5204293561529304; Lima, Cosmo Rufino de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9005310724269606; Pontes , Edel Alexandre da SilvaProfessional and Technological Education in Brazil has developed in terms of the number of students enrolled. In addition to this development, there has been an increase in school dropout rates. This research generally intends to investigate the variables that can be used in the modeling of predictive analysis of school dropout in Integrated High School (Agricultural Course) of IFAL - Campus Satuba. The problem question that is intended to be answered is: what variable trends can be used in a predictive analysis model, according to the dropout student profile that can measure the probability of school dropout risk in the scope of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) at the average level offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) - Campus Satuba? For this, a study was carried out in the technical course integrated to the high school in agriculture at IFAL - Campus Satuba. The methodology of this investigation was of the action-research type, since its methodological procedures are strongly linked to an interventionist action. The present research, regarding the approach and its nature, is of the mixed type, qualitative and quantitative. The data collection instruments were: official data from the academic system of the Academic Registration Coordination of the Campus, modalities applied to incoming students and interviews with the servants who attended directly in the course. The technique for analyzing the data used is predictive analysis, machine learning algorithms, binary logistic regression and statistical-mathematical model. The database was formed by the profile of students who dropped out from 2014 to 2019; A comparison was made with the profiles of students with active enrollment in the 2nd and 3rd years of the 2022 school year and also compared with the profile of students entering for the 2023 school year.Item Atividade inseticida e repelência de óleos essenciais de eucalyptus sobre Zabrotes Subfasciatus (BOHEMAN, 1833) E Sitophilus zeamais (MOTSCHULSKY, 1855)(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-07-21) Alves, Agripino Emanuel Oliveira; Cunha, Ana Catarina Monteiro Carvalho Mori da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6533002613885833; Valente, Ellen Carine Neves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5519733594584141; Martins, Ricardo Brainer; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9236216672510518; Dantas, José OliveiraStoring food is a practice observed since the beginnings of production and agricultural exploitation, it is a fundamental strategy to ensure society's food for a certain period. Currently in agriculture, whether corporate or family, storage is used to ensure the quality of the product and trade. However, these stored and stored foods are targets of pests and insects that compromise production. Thus, measures to control and eliminate these pests are necessary, through various methods, whether with chemical or biological control. Therefore, this work aimed to analyze the bioinsecticide potential of essential oils extracted from Eucalyptus genotypes for the control of storage pests in the production of beans (Zabrotes Subfasciatus) and corn (Sitophilus zeamais), under laboratory conditions, using essential oils from 4 Eucalyptus genotypes (1249, 1250, 1277 and 0292). The oils were tested for repelling action and lethal concentrations for pest control. In the studies of mortality by contact of pest insects, 4 Eucalyptus genotypes were analyzed, with 3 different concentrations being for Z. subfasciatus (1%, 2%, 2.5%), and for Sitophilus zeamais (5%, 10%, 20%), plus one positive and one negative control, with 10 replicates in randomized blocks. For the free-choice repellent action studies on the pest insects Z. subfasciatus and S. zeamais, essential oils from 4 Eucalyptus genotypes were tested with 5 replications for each treatment, in a completely randomized block design. All tested oils showed repellent action on insects and were efficient in the mortality of insect pests Z. subfasciatus and S. zeamais.Item Atividades de aventura na natureza : possibilidades pedagógicas interdisciplinares no ensino médio integrado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-08-25) Monteiro, Vanessa Cavalcante Tavares; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Pereira, Dimitri Wuo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8929474503522796It becomes a challenge to break the separation of sciences into increasingly isolated disciplines, which do not dialogue with each other. Each developing its contents independently and exclusively, implying traditional educational practices, with pedagogical purposes, almost always, decontextualized. Within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), it is believed to be no different. That being said, it is necessary that possible themes and contents be addressed in a way that considers interdisciplinarity, with an emphasis on the specific aspects of each area of knowledge, seeking integration and dialogue between them. Nature Adventure Activities can be configured as new themes and teaching-learning strategies with norms, values and attitudes that go beyond competitive practices and the contents of physical education classes. Being capable of an interdisciplinary approach with other areas of knowledge. Thus, this investigation aimed to verify the possibility of interdisciplinary pedagogical intervention, thematizing some adventure practices in integrated high school, through collaborative action research, which developed in a cyclical, dynamic and spiral manner. The target audience for the research were teachers and students of the Integrated Technical Course for Secondary Education in Agriculture, on one of the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas/IFAL. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicate that teachers considered Adventure Activities in Nature a theme that could be discussed within their respective areas of knowledge, and were able to understand interdisciplinarity and its importance in student learning. However, they highlight several challenges for carrying out interdisciplinary work. The investigation indicates the need for a proposed pedagogical intervention with an interdisciplinary bias. To collaborate in this sense, a teaching action was organized with interdisciplinary support through the theme: Adventure Activities in Nature. The action was consolidated into an ecological trail in the region, with students and teachers from two of the curricular components of the course under study. As a result, the collaborative educational product emerged, in the format of an e-book, interactive and interdisciplinary. The PE demonstrates a perspective of dialogue between the different areas of knowledge, distributed in the training centers (basic, integrative and professional), of the unified curricular matrix for the integrated technical course in agriculture at IFAL, as well as for the other courses at the institution in focus. and anyone else who may be interested in the topic.Item Avaliação da qualidade ambiental do complexo estuarino lagunar mundaú-manguaba – CELMM, Alagoas: uma abordagem biológica e da paisagem(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-07-24) Silva, Robert Germano Alves da; Mayorga, María Angélica Pérez; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3725581918287088; Romero, Renato de Mei; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9857771457585862; Teresa, Fabricio Barreto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706179711969560; Sampaio, Cláudio Luis Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2526336992077506; Araujo, Daniel de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5837261784524743This dissertation presents two chapters that include environmental assessment methods applied in the hydrographic basins of the Mundaú-Manguaba Estuarine-Lagoon Complex – MMELC. Degradation in CELMM has considerable environmental and socioeconomic impacts on riverside communities. We discuss how environmental, physical and spatial changes are related to chemical descriptors and the ecological response of the ichthyofauna of streams inserted in the system, aiming to test environmental diagnostic instruments for monitoring and managing impacts on rivers and coastal streams. Chapter I presents the application of the Habitat Integrity Index, a local physical assessment (80 m) already consolidated, and two proposals, one for adapting an index for landscape (1.6 km) and another for an index integrated to the two scales to equalize possible distortions. To understand the biological responses to the index values, two ecological estimators were evaluated species richness and percentage of Poecilia reticulata, in the fish community. The results are discussed in order to evaluate the ability to describe the indexes and estimators for local physical, spatial and biological characteristics. In Chapter II, the physical and chemical descriptors of the stream and ecotone were integrated with ecological descriptors. We tested the application of the Abundance and Biomass Curves (ABC) and the W statistic in the biological evaluation to detect environmental disturbance in the streams. The indicator species analysis (IndVal) was used to describe the species that characterize each land use and occupation group, and the Redundancy Analysis (RDA) was performed to identify the chemical and physical descriptors that structure the fish communities for each land use and occupation. In general, the evaluation methodologies used were able to describe the differences in the environments for each land use and occupation and relate the physical and chemical structuring of the streams to the fish community.Item Avaliação da viabilidade técnica, econômica e ambiental da produção de piso intertravado com agregado da concha de sururu(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-30) Tenório, Arthur Amaral Batista; Marques, Sheyla Karolina Justino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3917387578549073; Rapôso, Áurea Luiza Quixabeira Rosa e Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7600867517446003; Peres, Ana Paula da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9975840346577976In this study, the sustainable reuse of Sururu shells (Mytella falcata) in civil construction was explored, highlighting not only the approach to environmental problems resulting from inadequate disposal, but also the promotion of local partnerships that generate jobs and boost the regional economy. The present invention consisted of analyzing the interlocking floor with partial replacement of the fine aggregate (natural medium sand) with grains of Sururu shells. A sustainable approach was sought, analyzing technical, economic and environmental feasibility. Detailed physicochemical analyzes were carried out, including Granulometry, X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (ATG), to characterize the properties of the shells. When defining the concrete mix, a volume ratio of 1:2.33:0.37:2.00:0.43 (cement: sand: crushed stone powder: crushed stone 0: water) was established. Various sand replacement formulations were also examined, varying between 2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5% and 10.0%. During laboratory tests, the results met technical specifications favorably. The C-5% composition presented a compressive strength of 37.87 MPa, meeting the technical requirements established by the standard for concrete pieces intended for paving, which requires resistance equal to or greater than 35 MPa. Water absorption tests demonstrated effectiveness in promoting adequate drainage, with water absorption variations within the acceptable range, remaining below 0.77%. These results highlighted the potential of Sururu shells as a source of technical, economic and environmental interest in the manufacture of interlocking pavements. This study not only contributed to the development of innovative technical materials in the interlocking flooring market, but also emphasized the importance of sustainable practices in construction and reinforces the Circular Economy.Item Avaliação de resíduo sólido como mulching alternativo e de agrofilmes na produção de alface na região semiárida de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-12-30) Barros, José Anderson Soares; Cavalcante, Marcelo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0221717690546039; Costa, Joao Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2787724876009177; Santos, Márcio Aurélio Lins dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0192590447392368The Soiltain DW® geosynthetic blanket is used in water treatment plants, in water filtration, has a shelf life of three months, in which it is then disposed of in sanitary landfills. Due to its characteristics, it consists of a solid residue with potential for agricultural use, as ground cover. This practice, known as mulching, common in plasticulture in temperate regions, reduces water losses, the incidence of weeds and labor. However, it can promote soil microclimate, especially in tropical and semi-arid regions, causing stress to plants. Therefore, the objective of this research was to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of the Soiltain DW® geosynthetic blanket as an alternative mulching and the use of synthetic agrofilms in the production of lettuce cv. ‘Veneranda’ in Arapiraca, semi-arid region of Alagoas, Brazil. Four experiments were carried out between June/2020 and March/2021, in a completely randomized design, with four treatments (geosynthetic blanket, white and black polyethylene mulching, and bare soil) and five replications. The technical viability of the coverings was determined from the evaluation, at the end of each experiment, of the soil temperature, stand and morphoagronomic variables. Univariate and multivariate analyzes and Pearson’s correlations were applied. In the analysis of economic viability, indicators were used, from the cash flows between income and expenses, gross income, net income, profitability index and internal rate of return. There was a significant effect (P<0.05) for the interaction Soil cover x Planting times for all variables, except for root mass, indicating that these factors, together, promote changes in the behavior of lettuce cv. ‘Veneranda’. Univariate and multivariate analyzes showed the influence of mulching on lettuce in the four experiments, indicating that white mulching promoted favorable conditions for the evaluated morphoagronomic variables, promoting the highest yields in all cycles (average 19.9 Mg ha-1 ). Temperature is the response variable that exerted the most negative influence, mainly on stand, in which geosynthetic blanket and black mulching showed similarity, due to greater absorption of solar radiation and stand reduction. There is economic attractiveness for all the coverages studied, as there is a result that provides an economic return on the capital invested from the 2nd cropping cycle, when there is economic coverage of the initial investment value and coverage of the minimum attractiveness rate. The economic analysis showed that the geosynthetic blanket promoted the lowest effective operating costs, intermediate net income and lower profitability only than white mulching in the sum of the four experiments. Therefore, the four treatments evaluated are economically viable, especially white mulching. The Soiltain DW® geosynthetic blanket, solid waste, as it is free and reusable, can be used as an alternative mulching on lettuce cv. ‘Veneranda’, in the edaphoclimatic conditions of Arapiraca/AL.Item Boas práticas de manipulação, condições higiênico-sanitárias e composição mineral de sururu (Mytella falcata) comercializado em feiras livres de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-29) Lucena, Vívian da Silva Santos; Araujo, Daniel de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5837261784524743; Freitas, Johnnatan Duarte de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4999402869058858; Lopez, Ana Maria Queijeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4034568781881997; Tamano, Luana Tieko Omena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4206868438935017Sururu (Mytella falcata) is the main fishing resource of the Mundaú-Manguaba Estuarine- Lagoon Complex (MMELC), being a fundamental product for generating income for tens of thousands of families that live in the surroundings of the lagoons. In addition to its natural propensity to accumulate contaminants present in the aquatic environment, such as toxic metals, the handling of sururu is inadequate, from the subsequent stages of its collection to its disposal in the commercialization places. The present study aimed to carry out a diagnosis of good handling practices, hygienic-sanitary conditions and mineral composition of sururu in street markets in the municipalities bathed by the lagoons that make up the MMELC. For that, a checklist was prepared and applied to guide the observation of the hygienic conditions of the facilities, equipment and utensils used, handling and way of exposing the product, clothing and use of personal protective equipment, and waste disposal, among others, at the fairs in Maceió (Tabuleiro), Marechal Deodoro, Pilar, Satuba and Rio Largo. For the investigation of minerals, samples were acquired from all points of sale found in the fairs of the aforementioned municipalities. After procedures to obtain the extracts by acid digestion, the concentrations of iron (Fe), copper (Cu), manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn) were analyzed, using the atomic absorption spectrophotometry technique, and lead (Pb), following the corresponding protocol of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater (SMEWW). With the application of the checklist, it was possible to classify the hygienic-sanitary conditions in all the fairs visited as unsatisfactory. Despite this, it is worth noting that the highest percentages of adjustments were observed at the Rio Largo fair, where the assignment of space for commercialization was conditioned to participation in a training course in good food handling practices, offered by the municipality. The research also involved the application of a questionnaire for the socioeconomic characterization of the vendors. It could be noticed the predominance of female vendors, with low schooling, the sale of sururu and/or other fish as the only source of income, reaching a value close to the minimum wage. As for the micromineral composition, iron showed the highest concentrations in all samples, surpassing by more than fifteen times the values detected for copper, manganese and zinc. Regarding the toxic metal lead, the samples were within the limit allowed in bivalve molluscs. The results obtained with this work confirm the importance of sururu for countless families who sell it in open markets to earn a living and reinforce the need for a joint effort, by the market vendors and those responsible for managing these spaces, to provide the population of these locations with an environment conducive to commercialization of food. In addition, it is necessary for the competent authorities to continuously investigate the levels of highly toxic trace elements in the MMELC, so that the benefits of the consumption of sururu by the population are not counterbalanced by the risk of contamination.Item Campi Centenário do IFAL como lugares de memória e de identidade: documentário como instrumento de preservação Institucional(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-07-28) Santos, Gerônimo Vicente dos; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de AlmeidaThe research had as object of study the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) of Maceió and Satuba, both with more than 100 years of existence. This secular period gave rise to the practice of forgetting a past built and intertwined by different generations of civil servants, students and members of the external community. The general objective of the research was to produce, as educational material, a documentary about the centenary campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas as places of memory and identity. Among the specific objectives were focused, the intention to awaken in public servants, students and in other publics of interests, memories and institutional belonging feeling and to propose suggestions of services of stimulus to the memory and the institutional preservation that can be added to Ifal's documentary and material safeguard structure. The work presents, as an educational product, a 35-minute documentary, whose content focuses on the history of professional and technological education that is part of the federal public network in Alagoas, with testimonials from social actors involved in the reminiscences of the Ifal teaching units in Maceio and Satuba. With the research, results were sought about the preservation and rescue of elements that configure the institutional memory of the pioneering campuses of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in the State. The investigative study, of the collaborative action research type, presented a qualitative approach, whose methodological instruments included in the data collection, observation, theoretical references, oral interview, application of questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and conversation circles, activities that were applied together to the academic community, graduates and former public servants. The diagnostic research had the participation of 63 interviewees, 43 of whom answered through digital questionnaires and 20 through oral interviews. As a result, there was a lack of definition about the storage of institutional memory on the Maceió and Satuba campuses. The absence of institutional preservation was verified as strategic objectives of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of Ifal and there was relaxation in terms of organization and control of safeguarding institutional memory in both administrations of the researched teaching units.Item Ciência e tecnologia no Instituto Federal de Alagoas: proposta de e-book para disseminação de conhecimentos sobre inovação e propriedade intelectual(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-12-16) Moraes, Andressa Rodrigues Sabino Ricardo; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Nascimento, Ticiano Gomes do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6296388037177344; Azevêdo, Luciana Cavalcanti de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1897636028453143; Silva, Eunice Palmeira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4679066494213977Innovation occurs when knowledge is transformed into a product, a new or significan tly improved process and used by society. In this sense, the scientific technological knowledge provided by the Federal Institute of Alagoas ( IFAL ) is essential for the cultural, technological and socioeconomic development of the state. This dissertation s ought to investigate the understanding of the participants of the Institutional Program for I NIT iation Scholarships in Technological Development and Innovation ( PIBITI ) about innovation and intellectual property at IFAL , being the advisors and scholardship holders/ volunteers with projects approved in the 2018 2019 and 2019 2020 notices of the program . The objective of this work was to disseminate basic knowledge about innovation and protection of intellectual properties to PIBITI participants, contributing to the effectiveness of the research applied within the IFAL . This work brings reflections on the relationship between the path of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) and the Brazilian capitalist mode of production, with an emphasis on the poss ibility of overcoming Brazil's subservience in the context of the world economy, through scientific technological development, associated to the integral formation of subjects in the conception of education of the Federal Institutes of Professional Educati on. The research has a qualitative approach, being used more specifically the action research method, with the use of methodological instruments: interview, semi structured questionnaire, field notes and virtual interaction. The i nit ial diagnosis showed th at the sector responsible for stimulating technological innovation research and the protection of inventions, the IFAL Center for Technological Innovation ( NIT ), lacks the structure to develop its legal attributions, mainly in the dissemination of the cult ure of innovation in the Institute , since the number of servers in the sector is small and the activities are diverse. The tabulation of the results of the questionnaires revealed that PIBITI participants have incipient knowledge regarding innovation and i ntellectual property and, to contribute to the expansion of this knowledge, a textual material was constructed in the format of an e book as an educat ional product of this research , aimed at PIBITI participants, and can be made available to other intereste d parties. The material had a positive evaluation by the target audience of the research, and can be used by IFAL todisseminate basic knowledge about innovation and intellectual property.Item Construção de um serious game para abordagem de noções de direito do trabalho no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-05-20) Silva, Carlos Farias da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317This research emerged from the need to offer notions of Brazilian Labour Law in integrated Professional and Technological Education at the intermediate level of the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Although the Federal Institute of Alagoas offers professional education as one of its purposes, it does not include in the curriculum of integrated technical courses at the secondary level the approach of essential concepts of Brazilian Labour rights, such as the basic functioning of a contract, forms of access to Labour Justice and knowledge of institutions responsible for protecting workers, for example. In view of this fact, as well as the opportunity to strengthen the professional and citizen education of students, this research proposed to make said content available through a game, Tripalium, which is a serious game, whose purpose is to promote the learning of contents, by working on the motivation and interest of students in the topic. The research question that leads the study was the following: would a serious game be an appropriate instrument to address notions of Brazilian Labor Law at the Federal Institute of Alagoas? The hypothesis raised was that, yes, because games, in theory, are able to motivate students and, for that, they produce direct reflexes in the attention and interest of learners in the content discussed. Therefore, the research had as a general objective the construction of the referred game, which was accomplished through the realization of four specific objectives: 1) to build a previous organizer, a potentially significant introductory material, based on the principles of Theory of Meaningful Learning, to address the central themes of the notions of Brazilian Labor Law and, thus, to place students / players in the theme; 2) build a prototype for the game; 3) carry out tests on the prototype, with the participation of student volunteers, to identify errors and possible improvements; 4) implement changes based on the suggestions and reviews from student volunteers. This paper is about action research, with a political-social perspective and qualitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire, field diary and focus group, and had the primary function of subsidizing the construction and improvement of Tripalium, the educational product resulting from this research. The general objective of the study was to develop a Didactic Sequence (DS) to approach the themes HIV and AIDS in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the educational practice aimed at professional qualification and preparation for the exercise of citizenship. The research has a qualitative approach and the study method is that of collaborative action research. The research instruments used were subject questionnaires, satisfaction questionnaires and reflective diaries. The developed DS was assessed using descriptive aspectos by teachers of a subsequent technical course of secondary level in Work Safety. The investigative question that guides the work is "how do teachers of a subsequent high school technical course in Work Safety evaluate a proposal for approaching the issues of HIV and AIDS aimed at the production of didactic and pedagogical materials by the technicians in training?". The results are the positive judgment of the DS by the collaborator-evaluators, and there were also points evaluated in a neutral way by one of the evaluators, among the twenty items / aspects of the material, and no item / aspect was negatively evaluated. The participation of teachers in the appreciation and evaluation process of DS was shown as a contribution to the professional development of teachers. As a conclusion, it is understood that the developed SD is configured as a tool to address the themes HIV and AIDS, in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the development of professional skills and the construction of knowledge necessary to citizenship exercise. Other conclusions from the research are: i) teaching in Vocational and Technological Education is conditioned by political issues and different theoretical perspectives; ii) the Federal Institutes propose to train the subjects in full, motivating the performance of teachers and their pedagogical practices in line with the principles of omnilaterality; iii) the development of a EP, within the scope of teacher training, must be provided to meet the specificities of VTE in the Federal Education Network by teachers of the EBTT career.Item Desenvolvimento de um potenciostato portátil de baixo custo e seu uso em análises ambientais(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-09-18) Lucena, Charles Bronson Bezerra de; Lima, Phabyanno Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9334426018309756; Lopes, Cleylton Bezerra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4000861323429729; Silva, Francisco de Assis dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8842303844359230The planet's population has been growing consistently over the decades. The most recent pro- jections indicate that in the next ten years we will have an increase of 80 million people and that this number will only increase in the following decades. This fact will bring a series of challenges and among them we can mention the need to produce food for this large number of people without compromising the environment even further. Each year, the agricultural harvest in Brazil has been breaking records, in the same way that the use of agricultural pesticides is increasing in the same direction. If these substances are not used appropriately, they will quickly harm the environment and monitoring becomes increasingly necessary. This monitoring is car- ried out through chemical analysis. Raising awareness among new generations about problems related to environmental degradation is important and this can be done in chemistry classes. As is well known, carrying out practices in the laboratory makes learning easier and more effective. In this sense, carrying out practical classes requires essential equipment: a potentiostat. This equipment is expensive and its use is mostly restricted to research laboratories. This research sought to develop a potentiostat capable of carrying out electrochemical analyzes with the main characteristics being its low cost, ease of manufacture and portability where its focus is not on carrying out analyzes with great precision to be used in classes for the quantification of internal contaminants. -environmental stress. We searched the literature for projects that included some of these characteristics to promote adaptations and improvements with the aim of minimizing costs. The equipment developed was subjected to calibration using the electrical resistance method to verify its compliance with Ohm's law. It presented a difference of +/- 0.14% in rela- tion to a fictitious resistance compared to a difference of +/- 0.1% presented by a commercial potentiostat. Improvements in the future such as improving the software with the insertion of new electrochemical techniques, modifying the microcontroller (Arduino pro mini, or similar and developing another communication cable.Item Do xamanismo ancestral ao contemporâneo: o debate sobre as religiosidades/espiritualidades xamanismo indígenas no ensino médio integrado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-11) Cavalcanti, Rêmia Vasconcellos; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3128-3093; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3128-3093; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3281-612X; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Martins, Sílvia Aguiar Carneiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3656772019325644; Silva, Amaro Hélio Leite da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0318967074428573This research has intentend to investigate the treatment over the debate regarding the indigenous religiosities (shamanism) in the field of public high school, aiming to create an educational product that contributes to the improvement of that treatment, thus strenghning an intercultural and integral pedagoical perspective. The interest in this theme comes from the experience of the researcher in the extension project "The Sacred Nature of Medicinal Plants: promotion of health and cultural tradition of indigenous communities of Alagoas, through the Center of Indigenous and afro-brazilian studies (NEBI/IFAL - Campus Maceió). The project has justified itself as Culture is a mandatory curricular component of the subject Sociology and of the fact that history and indigenous culture are mandatory themes at all levels of education, as determined by the Act nº 11.645/2008. The relevance of this study has been revealed through the analysis of the historical violence perpetrated against indigenous people and their culture. This violence is due to colonialism and coloniality, which have direct and indirect implications on teaching materials and pedagocical perspectives. This work has been conducted from the hermeneutic-dialectic theoretical-ethodological perspectives and the theoretical perspective of intercultural and integral education. In addition, bibliographical references from the fields of Social Sciences were used, which provided important reflections on the topic. The investigation uses methodological strategies of bibliographic and qualitative research, guided by the methods of action-research and oral memory. To this end, data collection techniques were used through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews and Bardin's content analysis technique. The locus of the research was the Maceió Campus, where the educational product was applied and validated as a possibility of teaching resource for inclusive practices in the Sociology curricular component in the Integrated High School. The main results achieved in the diagnostic phase were the constatation of the lack of knowledge, by the majority of students, about the culture, especially in indigenous religiosities; the lack of debate regarding the topic; the lack of teaching materials that deal with the topic; and the lack of educational training of the teachers, in a integral and intercultural perspective. In relation to the evaluation phase of the Educational Product, it was observed that the content of the teaching material improved the knowledge about indigenous culture and religiosity, contributed to the inclusion and expansion of the study on the topic and contributed to the construction of teaching material to be used in the context of Integrated High School.Item Educação integrada e a questão indígena: uma proposta de intervenção nos cursos de ensino técnico integrado ao médio do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-07-17) Freire, Adriana Cirqueira; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1917141765879918; Amorim, Siloé Soares deIn order to contribute to the expansion of knowledge about the history and culture of the indigenous peoples of the state of Alagoas in the classrooms of the technical courses integrated to the high school of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), during this work an educational product was done in a participatory manner, with the contribution of the teaching staff and the pedagogy team. This initiative also contributes to a more effective implementation of the legislation that instituted the mandatory inclusion of the theme "Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous History and Culture" in the official curriculum for public and private schools: Federal Law No. 11,645 of March 10th, 2008. Using action research as a method, this work sought to expand knowledge about the history and social processes that affect the indigenous populations of Alagoas in order to include it in the discussion of integrated education. The locus of the research was the Ifal Satuba Campus and the two pedagogues from the campus and 10 (ten) professors at the disciplines Arts, History, Portuguese Language and Sociology participated. The diagnosis was applied through questionnaires and semi-directed interviews with the professionals of the campus and, to complement the information, a questionnaire was also applied to some students of the high school’s last grade. After that step, the content of the educational product was built on a bibliographic and documentary research basis, evaluated by the same diagnosis professors, by the Neabi's advisor and by expert researchers from outside the campus. After the inclusion of the evaluation contributions, the educational product “Etnias Indígenas Alagoanas”, was finalized. We understand that the product contributes for the improvement of the educational practice, that it responds to a legal requirement and that it expands the conditions of recognition of the local context by the school community, contributing to a true integral education.
