Item A contribuição dos jogos para o ensino da matemática: uma análise bibliográfica a respeito do desenvolvimento social e da matemática recreativa(2025-06-30) Souza Júnior, Josenildo dos Santos; Silva, Vanessa Lúcia da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4017185539776065; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837This study aims to investigate how the use of games can contribute to the teaching and learning of mathematics, with an emphasis on their functions in the social development of students and their application in recreational mathematics. The research was conducted through a Systematic Literature Review, using the following descriptors combined by the Boolean operator AND: “mathematical games”, “online games”, “development”, “probability” and “teaching mathematics”. The search was carried out in the following databases: Journals of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Repositories of the Federal Universities of Alagoas (UFAL), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), in addition to the Ludus Association. Only complete, free articles, in Portuguese, published between 1990 and 2025 were considered. Thirteen articles were selected, with 2008 presenting the largest number of contributions. Google Scholar stood out as the source with the largest number of relevant articles. All selected works presented methodology based on field studies. The detailed analysis of the content allowed the identification of two main thematic axes: (1) analysis of games and their relationship with social development and (2) recreational mathematics and education. This study highlights the use of games as effective pedagogical resources in teaching mathematics, promoting not only the understanding of content, but also the social, psychological and cognitive development of students. Based on Vygotsky's theory and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), the work shows how playfulness favors collaborative learning, autonomy and critical thinking. By making the process less anxious and more motivating, games transform mathematics into a concrete, enjoyable and meaningful experience.Item A Simetria como Recurso de Comunicação Matemática na Educação Básica: Contexto Histórico, abordagens teóricas e práticas pedagógicas(2025-07-10) Brandão, Raquel Vieira; Henriques, Lucas De Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259This paper addresses symmetry as a relevant pedagogical resource in the teaching of mathematics, especially in Basic Education. Symmetry is presented not only as a geometric concept but also as a didactic tool that promotes understanding of spatial relationships, proportions, and transformations in the Cartesian plane. The study covers the main types of symmetry — axial, rotational, translational, and origin symmetry — and illustrates each with graphical representations, geometric figures, and real-world contexts, such as art, nature, and architectural patterns. It also discusses practical classroom activities involving dance, body movement, and group dialogue as strategies to explore symmetry in an interactive and meaningful way. Additionally, the paper analyzes ENEM exam questions that address symmetry, emphasizing its relevance in visual literacy and problem solving. Ultimately, the work highlights symmetry as a bridge between mathematics, art, and cultural expression, fostering integrated and contextualized learning.Item Análise de uma proposta didática para o ensino da tabuada para os alunos do 6º ano do ensino fundamental: bingo da tabuada(2025-07-07) Renovato, Julio Cesar Dias; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/8130778140721340; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/9395417554768580; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; HTTP://LATTES.CNPQ.BR/2740547167333947Teaching multiplication tables in sixth grade faces challenges due to traditional memorization methods, which generate disinterest and learning difficulties. This study proposes "Multiplication Table Bingo" as a playful strategy to make the process more dynamic and meaningful. The research is justified by the need to renew pedagogical practices, reduce math anxiety, and promote student engagement in fundamental math learning. This paper aims to present an innovative teaching method for teaching multiplication tables in the 6th grade of elementary school. This monograph consists of qualitative bibliographic research, structured as a literature review. In addition to the review, this study analyzes the results obtained through a teaching intervention based on the game Multiplication Table Bingo, adapted for teaching mathematical operations to 6th-grade public school students. The application of Multiplication Table Bingo with 6th-grade students demonstrated positive results, promoting greater engagement, participation, and reducing math anxiety. The use of active methodologies proved effective in overcoming the limitations of traditional teaching and making the learning process more meaningful. It was found that differentiated strategies favor the inclusion of different learning styles and reduce math anxiety. Thus, the importance of innovative pedagogical proposals for making teaching more effective and meaningful is reinforced.Item Construção do latus rectum utilizando o geogebra(2025-07-08) Lima, Rose Aline Bezerra; Nunes, Me Hugo Santos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Henriques, Lucas de Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988This study aims to investigate the latus rectum of conic sections, ellipse, parabola, and hyperbola, by addressing its definition, properties, and geometric constructions. Although it is a significant element for understanding conic curves, the latus rectum is rarely discussed in conventional textbooks, both at the high school and undergraduate levels. To address this gap, a qualitative and exploratory research was conducted, based on historical and bibliographic sources, with emphasis on the work of Apollonius of Perga and modern analytical geometry manuals. In addition to the theoretical foundation, this study proposes the graphical construction of the latus rectum using the GeoGebra software, aiming to enhance visualization and facilitate the teaching and learning process. The use of this technological tool seeks to make mathematical concepts more accessible, dynamic, and interactive, thus bridging theory and educational practice.Item Explorando alguns tópicos da teoria dos números: uma abordagem olímpica nos anos finais do ensino médio(2025-06-13) Santos, Rodrigo Medeiros dos; Farias, José Cicero Gomes; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5470804227037647; Mendonça, Fernando Antonio Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8147664686175269; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700; Silva, Rosivaldo Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8652133702306422This paper discusses the application of Number Theory topics in the Final Years of Elementary Education, focusing on their use in mathematical competitions such as the Brazilian Mathematics Olympiad for Public Schools (OBMEP). Concepts such divisibility, prime numbers, and congruences are explored, highlighting their role in developing student’s logical and creative reasoning. The research combines a literature review and quantitative analysis to demonstrate the relevance of these topics in solving olympiad problems and their pedagogical impact. Furthermore, the study emphasizes how OBMEP and others Mathmatic’s Olympiads contributes to the popularization of mathematics and the identification of talents in public schools.
