This article analyzes how literary texts aimed at young audiences stimulate cognitive skills such as language, imagination, and critical thinking, while also fostering, when mediated, children's emotional and social development. Through engaging narratives, children's and young adult literature helps build empathy, recognize ethical values, and understand the complexities of human relationships. Furthermore, it proves to be a pedagogical tool, capable of engaging with the experiences and challenges inherent in childhood and adolescence, fostering reflection on identity and cultural issues. Based on theorists such as Cosson (2012) and Orlandi (2005), as well as the National Common Curricular Base (2018), the study emphasizes the importance of educational policies and pedagogical practices that value this literary genre as a central element in the development of critical readers and conscientious citizens.Item A contribuição das histórias em quadrinhos na formação de leitores(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-12-17) Silva, Ana Paula da; Silva, Ana Quitéria Menezes de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6438536384857226; Santos, Vanusia Amorim Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0841641614487512; Santos, Sandra Sebastiana dosThis work intends to discuss the importance and contribution of the Comic book’s genre in the instruction of readers and in encouraging the practice of reading in Portuguese language classes, in the final grades of elementary school. The research was realized in a municipal public school, located in the Rocha Cavalcante district, União dos Palmares-AL, in which results were collected through questionnaires and observation in the classrooms of the 6th grade “B”, 7th grade “A", 8th grade "A" and 9th grade "A". After all the information collected, there was analysis and discussion of the results,it was possible to see that the comic book really is in a great tool that can qualitatively contribute to the teaching and learning process and to the development of reading practice, through the fact of being a very rich textual genre, involving text and image, capable of awakening in the subject the pleasure of the act of reading, making the student a competent reader. Therefore, for there to be motivation in classes and participation of students, it is necessary that teachers involve activities in their methodologies that lead them to relate the class to their reality, because when working with elements that are part of their daily lives, learning becomes meaningful. Thus, it is possible to affirm that the comic books must be present in the educational environment, contributing to the formation of readers.Item Diretor pedagógico e a atividade compromissora no ambiente escolar(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-11-25) Silva, Alexandra Alves da; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Araújo, Antônio Cícero de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4716895949004675; Soeira, Elaine dos Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2699971179132910The role of the pedagogical director in Brazil was linked to different historical and educational political moments, going through many obstacles until achieving his true role in education. Today he is at the head of the school's work, observing the difficulties, reflecting on them and devising strategies to sanction the problems. The main objective of this work is to understand the commitment of the pedagogical director as a function in the school environment, therefore, a state public school system in the city of São José da Laje - AL was analyzed. The methodology used for the research was: bibliographic and field, for bibliographical research information was sought in books and articles referring to the authors' theory: Alarcão (2001), Freire (1998), Libaneo (2001) and Medel (2008), Pimenta (2004), Saviani (2002), among others. The field work was based on the application of questionnaires, one for the pedagogical director and another for the teachers. The data collected showed that although the director has shown performance in the pedagogical process, there is still a lot to be done, there needs to be more commitment in monitoring teaching and learning and in the democratization of the PPP (pedagogical political project). Therefore, the pedagogical director must know their true role, and constantly monitor, evaluate, think and rethink, giving new meaning to their performance in teaching practice and in the students' learning.Item Ensino e gramática: os dialetos nordestinos nas aulas de língua portuguesa(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-08-11) Silva, Ana Patrícia Moura de Andrade; Fatima, Wellton da Silva de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6380496064230296; Santos, Odair Jose Silva dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0102447684156796; Antonio, Leonardo Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0312858372080043This work consists of the analysis of Portuguese Language Teaching in Elementary School II when it is proposed to insert the Northeastern dialect in the classroom. Our objective is to verify, through observations, how teacher and student behave in the face of linguistic variation presented through the most varied textual genres, as well as to understand how normative grammar and linguistic variation are reconciled in the school context, standing out as a variant the dialect of the Northeast region, which is the target of much prejudice and considered wrong by speakers from other regions of Brazil, taking into account the continental dimension of the country. The justification of the research is the importance of understanding that the language can vary without being characterized as an error, but varies according to the place, with the social class, among other aspects presented throughout the work, aspects guided by the Variationist Sociolinguistics. , which has its precursor Labov. The theoretical and methodological apparatus adopted will be Freitag and Lima (2010), Bagno (2008) and Faraco (2007), who through Sociolinguistics emphasize the importance of understanding the diversity of the language and its characteristics, as well as inserting such diversity in the school curriculum. In the results, it is possible to perceive the difficulties in the teaching-learning process, for the teacher who needs to reconcile normative grammar with the linguistic variation found in the mother tongue, and for the student, in understanding that the cultured language is necessary, but the use of dialects, accents and slang is not incorrect.Item Planejamento pedagógico na educação de jovens e adultos: reflexões a partir da revisão de literatura(2025-06-07) Silva, Laudineide Conceição; Silva, Manoel Santos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4935593146997631; Lima; Silva, Manoel Santos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4935593146997631; Lima , Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Silva, Cléia de Oliveira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8898398584881409This Final Course Project aims to analyze pedagogical planning in youth and adult education (EJA), based on a literature review that explores the main theories and educational practices focused on this mode of teaching. The research highlights the importance of planning that considers the specificities and diversities of students, promoting meaningful and contextualized learning. The literature review reveals that EJA faces unique challenges, such as the heterogeneity of the audience, the prior experiences of learners, and their social and economic conditions. Thus, pedagogical planning must be flexible and adapted to the needs of students, integrating methodologies that encourage active participation and student empowerment. Furthermore, the work emphasizes the need for continuous training for educators working in EJA, enabling them to develop skills to create inclusive and effective learning environments. The reflections presented in this study aim to contribute to a more conscious pedagogical practice committed to social transformation. Finally, the TCC proposes guidelines for developing a pedagogical planning that values students' trajectories in EJA, promoting their autonomy and empowerment.Item A relação dos educadores dos anos iniciais com a tecnologia educacional(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-06-11) Maraba, Maria Cícera dos Santos; Silva, Ana Quitéria Menezes de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6438536384857226; Santos, Vanusia Amorim Pereira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0841641614487512; Araújo Neto, Zoroastro Pereira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6333230791654121This work aims to presente the constant transformations that our society goes though; much of then due to Technologies. This objective arose when noticing that the discipline of Portuguese Language has been worked with a very strong focus on its traditionalist bias, a factor that centralizes normative grammar, treating it as if it were the only correct form, thus ignoring other linguistic varieties, which will lead to prejudice in relation to other varieties, which are considered and classified as wrong before the standard norm. The methodological procedures developed in Portuguese language classes are considered a negative point, which can and should probably generate disinterest in learning what the mentioned discipline offers. From these facts, some problems that need to be solved in teaching were found, and with that comes the question: what are the challenges faced by teachers with non-standard language teaching in elementary schools, in the final grades? To arrive at a possible answer, bibliographic research was used as a method, which is qualitative in nature, being carried out through exclusively theoretical procedures. The research result was promising, as it brought positive and enlightening contributions in relation to the general objective of the work, proving that there is in fact an interference of linguistic prejudice in the development of teaching and student learning and that such interference has hindered the subject's interest apprentice.
