Item A atuação docente sob a perspectiva discente: análise das tendências pedagógicas nos cursos de licenciatura do Ifal - Campus Maceió(2024-12-11) Paz, Andreson Silva da; Ferreira, Danielle da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7027017204663432; Alves, Karina Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2899542504433422This study investigates students' perceptions of teaching performance and the predominant pedagogical trends in undergraduate teaching programs (in-person) at IFAL Campus Maceió. The objective is to identify whether, according to the students' perspective in these programs, the teachers at this campus align with progressive or liberal pedagogical approaches. The research employed a mixed-methods methodology, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Questionnaires were administered to students enrolled in undergraduate programs in Biological Sciences, Physics, Portuguese Language and Literature, Mathematics, and Chemistry at IFAL, specifically targeting those in their third semester or later, selected for their experience with the General Didactics component. The theoretical framework encompasses Liberal Pedagogy and progressive approaches, drawing on contributions from authors such as Libâneo (1986), Saviani (2005), Mizukami (1986), and Aranha (2006). The literature review outlines the characteristics of traditional and renewed approaches, emphasizing the role of schools, methodologies, and the teacher-student relationship. The results indicate the presence of two pedagogical fields, liberal and progressive, among the teachers. They also highlight a predominance of progressive approaches in aspects related to content and teacher-student interaction. However, liberal practices are notably evident in evaluation and teaching methodologies.Item A caneta que balança o berço: o entrecho e a construção de mães na formação docente(2024-08-09) Carvalho, Cleonice Maria Ferreira de; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Araujo, Claudionor Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6155010171957004; Silva, Willian Cassiano da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1949383398907647This research is about my experience as a woman, mother and student in teacher training. The objective is to analyze how mothers' experiences and identities are developed and understood in the academic context. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: to present the evolution of the mother's role in society over time; investigate how the social construction of gender influences social perceptions and expectations regarding the roles of men and women in society and understand how mothers' reality and identity are formed and shaped during the training process. The theoretical basis of this research is based on authors such as Freire (1997), who addresses the view of the teacher as an aunt; Bourdieu (2012), which deals with domination; Prado and Soligo (2005) and Passeggi (2008), which discuss formative memories; and Badinter (1985), which explores the myth of maternal love, as well as other authors who contribute significantly to the discussion. The study consists of descriptive research, with results treated in a qualitative manner, based on the collection of information from secondary sources, including a bibliographic review. As research sources, in order to collect the theoretical framework, books, articles and websites related to the topic were used. By collecting information throughout the research and analyzing this information, it was possible to conclude that, although student mothers demonstrate great resilience and determination, the lack of adequate institutional support significantly hinders their academic journey. The research highlights the importance of more inclusive policies and specific support for these women, in order to promote greater equity in the educational environment.Item A cinematografia e a gamificação como ferramentas inovadoras no ensino de ciências e biologia: desafios no processo de aprendizagem(2025-04-28) Lins, Rebeca Graças; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Brasileiro , Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Varela , Simone; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8249879413860593The present work aims to investigate the use of cinematography and gamification as innovative tools to enhance the teaching of Science and Biology, contributing to the motivation and engagement of students in the learning process. The methodology adopted consists of an exploratory bibliographic review, based on authors such as Freire (1996), Moran (1995; 2000; 2006), Añez (2017), Pereira e Silva (2014), Lourenço et al (2015), Almeida (2019), Seymour Papert (1993), Salen (2008), Huizinga (2004); Prensky (2011) and others cited throughout the text, seeking to understand how these approaches can be applied in a practical and efficient way. The theoretical foundation emphasizes the importance of active methodologies, the integration of technological resources and the Freirean vision of a dialogical and liberating education, which promotes the active participation of students in the process of knowledge construction. As a result of the study, a proposal for a didactic sequence will be developed that integrates elements of cinematography and gamification, with the aim of making learning more dynamic, accessible and meaningful, stimulating interaction between students and scientific concepts. It is concluded that such strategies can enrich pedagogical practices and contribute to the formation of more critical, engaged and reflective students, aligned with the principles of transformative educationItem A compreensão dos estudantes da área da saúde sobre biossegurança: uma análise crítica(2025-06-06) Oliveira, Maria Ilma Ferreira de; Souza, Cesário da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8397674250085897; Coelho, Sheyla Ferreira Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9377424161004165; Santos, Marta Maria Silva Cavalcante dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4740990322148834The understanding of biosafety among health science students was critically analyzed in this study, conducted at the Centro Universitário de Maceió (UNIMA/Afya), with the objective of evaluating the theoretical and practical knowledge of undergraduates and identifying gaps in their academic training. This research was characterized as descriptive and exploratory, with a quantitative approach, involving 242 participants from the Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition programs. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered via Google Forms, addressing topics such as regulatory standards (NR-6, NR-9, NR-32), the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), and procedures in risk situations. The results showed that 98.8% of students had previous contact with laboratory environments and demonstrated satisfactory knowledge of NR-32 and the role of PPE, with 97.5% and 100% correct responses, respectively. However, lower mastery was observed regarding NR-9, which addresses environmental risks, indicating the need for greater emphasis on this content within academic curricula. Participants’ perception of the importance of biosafety was high, particularly in relation to personal and collective safety. It was concluded that, although students possess a solid theoretical foundation in biosafety, there are specific gaps that require improvement, especially regarding the critical application of regulations and the integration between theory and practice. The adoption of active methodologies, such as simulations and case studies, along with continuous training, is recommended to strengthen a culture of biosafety in academic education.Item A experiência do estágio supervisionado no ensino de biologia e seus desafios para o campo da docência: o lugar do saber(2025-04-28) Lima, Sara Cristine da Silva; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Brasileiro , Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Varela, Simone; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8249879413860593This work aims to reflect on the internship experience within academic training, with an emphasis on the contributions and challenges encountered during professional development in Biology teaching. The methodology adopted is qualitative, descriptive, and narrative, based on the experience of a student from the Undergraduate Degree Program in Biological Sciences during the period of supervised internship. The reflection on the teaching-learning process is built from the observation of the pedagogical practices adopted by the intern throughout the internship in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) context, relating these practices to the challenges faced and the lessons learned along the way. In this context, the research question guiding the study is: How does the supervised internship experience contribute to the process of professional development in Biology teaching? The work engages with authors who discuss the importance of the internship as a formative experience, including Pimenta (2014), Souza (2007), Tardif (2014), and Paulo Freire (1998), who understand the internship as a research field and an organic space between theory and practice in teaching. They emphasize its role in building teaching identity and promoting critical reflection on pedagogical practices, grounded in the principles of continuous training and professional development. Based on the analysis of the experience, it was possible to observe the development of a more critical teaching posture, increasingly aware of the specificities of Science education within the EJA context. The need to adapt pedagogical practices to the characteristics and demands of the class was highlighted, which allowed the intern to develop a deeper understanding of the realities and challenges of education in this setting. Thus, the internship ceases to be a mere application of theories learned during the course and becomes a space for investigation, learning, and transformation — both for students and for the future teacher. It is therefore emphasized that reflection on pedagogical practice is an essential tool for improving teaching performance, acknowledging the contributions and challenges encountered in the professional training and development process of the Biology teacher.Item A importância da leitura infantojuvenil para a formação do leitor crítico(2024-07-19) Barbosa, Arthur William Cavalcante; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Santos , Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Cavalcanti , Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955This study delved into investigating the importance of children's and young adult literature in shaping critical readers. Furthermore, it helped in the internal and external analysis of the Department, allowing to highlight the deficiencies, qualities and opportunities. The relevance of this study is based on the systematization of concepts about strategic planning, which aim to subsidize and guide decision-making within the scope of public management, especially improving organizational efficiency.Item A influência da família no processo de aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita(2022-12-09) Silva, Herbeth Douglas Gomes; Campelo, Siquele Roseane de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1730383946648149; Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Varela, Simone; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/82498794138660593This Undergraduate Thesis (UT) has as its main object the influence of the family in the reading and writing learning process of students in the final years of Elementary School. Faced with this problem, we outline the following question: What is the importance of the family's influence on the children's reading and writing learning process in the school environment? Based on this research problem, we outlined the general objective of analyzing the family-school-student interaction in the teaching-learning process of reading and writing in the ninth year of Elementary School. As a result of this objective, we developed the following specific objectives: Identify whether families develop strategies to follow the routine of studies related to learning to read and write; and to analyze whether the school develops mechanisms to favor the family's involvement in the teaching and learning of reading and writing comprehension. Therefore, methodologically, qualitative research procedures were adopted based on a case study. As data collection instruments, semi-structured interviews were carried out with a family member and a Portuguese language teacher in the ninth year of elementary school at a public school in Alagoas. Among the main results, it was found that the concern for students to leave the ninth with a good knowledge in the axes of reading and writing exists on both sides. Thus, family and school have developed strategies that, although incipient, can be the starting point for expanding social reading and writing practices from a literacy perspective.Item A intrusa: a mulher na sociedade do século XIX(2024-12-19) Silva, Crislaine Vitória da; Santos, Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Silva , Cleide Calheiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7445136004807968; Maia , Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119The purpose of this final paper is to analyze the work A intrusa, written by Julia Lopes de Almeida in 1908 - a Brazilian writer, chronicler, playwright, abolitionist and one of the first members of the group of writers who planned the creation of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL). The analysis of the book A Intrusa aims to identify the relationship between the work and the representation of women in 19th century literature, and its historical-literary importance for female protagonism. To this end, some of the steps taken in the analysis were the use of bibliographical research through studies to understand the historical context in which women of the 19th century were inserted, permeating matrimonial, professional and educational aspects. It is worth remembering the women writers, who in this historical period had limited access to the act of reading and writing, and who in turn were silenced by the literary canon. At the same time, a brief biography of Julia Lopes de Almeida is presented, which highlights aspects of her professional, cultural and personal life, focusing on her importance for female protagonist in literature. Finally, in The Intruder we will highlight the analysis of the female characters, identifying the characteristics present that signal how women were seen in 19th century society.Item A magia das cores na experimentação: utilizando indicador natural para ensinar conceitos de química.(2025-02-11) Santos, Leôncio Silva; Ferreira, Danielle da Silva; Silva, Merylane Porto da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4940334471477236; Nascimento, Flávia Braga do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585720352113766The objective of this final project is to study the application of a practical experiment that uses red cabbage as a natural pH indicator in chemistry. The term pH is essential in chemistry and is necessary to understand the acidity and alkalinity of solutions. However, students often have difficulty understanding these abstract concepts. This is why education should be more dynamic and interactive. Red cabbage was chosen for this study because it has the ability to change color at different pH levels, making it an easy-to-use and accessible visual resource. The experiment consists of making cabbage extracts and using them to test the pH of various solutions allows students to observe the color changes that reflect changes in pH. The results of the questionnaires and observations administered to the students show that the practical activity arouses curiosity and theoretical understanding of pH. Students reported that they retained more information and were able to apply the ideas to everyday situations. This dissertation emphasizes the importance of incorporating hands-on experiences into chemistry teaching and shows how the use of natural indicators such as red cabbage can improve learning, democratize access to educational resources, and encourage students to experiment. The research findings indicate that this method can be a valuable pedagogical tool that helps create more meaningful and engaging learning.Item A prática dos multiletramentos em minicontos multimodais: uma experiência no estágio supervisionado em educação de jovens e adultos(2023-12-20) Silva, Davi Nascimento Gomes; Agra, Christiane Batinga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0715128190591513; Barbosa, Flávia Karolina Lima Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3662242058929178; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569The advancement of digital technologies around the world is undeniable, which are widely adopted by people in their daily activities, whether in the workplace, at home or even in the school context. Within this perspective, this study proposes the use of the textual genre with digital technologies as a multiliteracy practice. The theoretical basis is based on contributions from research on the multimodal short story in a class of the 4th phase of Education for Young People, Adults and Elderly, at Escola Municipal Tradutor João Sampaio, in collaboration with the Portuguese language teacher. The methodological procedures for collecting and producing data were of a qualitative nature, carried out through an action-research approach, in which students developed multimodal productions using the VideoShow application, exploring themes with social relevance. The results show that the students reflected on local social issues through the creation of multimodal short stories. In addition, regarding the application of the activity with the help of the VideoShow technological tool, the students positively evaluated the use of their mobile devices in the classroom to improve the learning of the Portuguese language. In conclusion, we highlight the need for teachers to rethink the teaching of the Portuguese language, considering digital technologies, as we observe how effective the use of the multimodal mini-short story can be in helping EJAI students to awaken interest and pleasure in reading and stimulus to textual production.Item Uma abordagem da Cicloide: "a Helena da geometria"(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-01-25) Silva, Jefferson Marinho da; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Oliveira, Elinelson Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4985621981248771; Silva, Tiago Marinho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3964717265579881This work presents a brief historical research on the cycloid, in addition to an intuitive construction on the curve, working on the definition and parameterization. This research discusses pedagogical practices that link the contents to the playful context of presenting the cycloid and not just algebraic as in calculation books. Taking into account the context of Mathematics, this proposal presents as a problem the lack of interest in the study of the curve, considering that its use was left aside by mathematicians. In the context of these problems, the proposal intends to awaken the relevance of the cycloid, answering the following questions: how to motivate the understanding of the cycloid? How to show practicality through your application? The main objective of the proposal is to present in a more practical way the understanding of the cycloid. This work is based on studies by Boyer (2012), Bustillo and Sassine (2011) and Stewart (2013). With the results, it was possible to observe that although we have other ways to calculate the cycloid, the best way would be with the parametric equations, as they bring us a simpler way of calculating the curve. The results also point to the practicality of building in Geogebra.Item A acessibilidade nos livros didáticos: o ensino de ligações químicas para surdos(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-12-20) Santos, Alan Douglas da Silva; Pinto, Charridy Max Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4139562888411167; Vitorino, Anderson Francisco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0431749235312279; Silva, Leonardo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3401495568705461The present work presents the results of an inspection that aims to identify whether the textbooks approved by the National Book and Didactic Material Program for the year 2021 (PLND), and which are used in regular high schools, are successful in addressing the subject of links chemistry, and if they have in their structure pedagogical proposals and visual didactic resources that enable effective and meaningful learning for deaf students who use the book in the classroom. We sought to identify whether the conceptual development of the theme, the presentation, and the graphic proposal of the textbook contribute to making the book more accessible to the deaf community. Based on the results obtained, possible alternatives were speculated with the potential to make the approach to the subject of chemical bonds in textbooks more adapted to the teaching and learning needs of deaf students who are included in regular schools.Item A alquimia poética Lenineana: traços de uma poesia devoradora(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-03-14) Silva, Erick Robert Ferreira da; Santos, Fábio José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7569516305566259; Malta, Carla Carolina da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7728611783048332; Silva, Eronilma Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1899340692310050The literary studies that analyze pieces from a cultural point of view have been frequent in contemporary times, which has contributed to thinking about the scope of literary art inserting it in its context of production, considering it in its relation with the exteriority and fostering discussions surrounding relevant topics to think the contemporaneity. This essay is inserted in the scope of the Literature Theory (literature and culture) and focuses on the poetic text of Lenine's song. Based on the reading/listening of twelve songs from his work (which compose the research Corpus Carminum), issues such as the encounter with the aesthetic object are discussed; swallowing and anthropo/autophagy in Lenine's songbook; and how these notions are articulated from a poetic alchemy of the composer. The reading/listening to Lenine's song, object of this research, revealed a lyrical universe that emerges from his poetic text and that is forged from the anthropo and autophagy movements, as a synthesis of creative operations from which results a modern, brazilian, local and global poetry, with multiple, mixed, mestizo colorations. The discussion points towards a poetry of devouring, in which elements of autophagy and anthropophagy, as categories of production and creation, focus directly on Lenine's songbook inside the corpus that has been analyzed. As for the theoretical foundation, I resorted to the contributions of authors such as Andrade, Bosi, Paz, Pinheiro, Figueiredo and Mello. Thus, from the analysis of the songs, I hope to contribute to the expansion of the poet's critical fortune.Item Análise crítica do Projeto Ambiental do Renasce Salgadinho como solução para falta de esgotamento sanitário na Bacia do Riacho do Reginaldo(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-31) Melo, Aléxia Silveira de; Rodrigues, Tainara Ramos da Rocha Lins de Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9605497566454699; Silva, Ana Karoline de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0056329913564232; Vianna Junior, Walter Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5054607247101741This work presents a general overview of the beginning of the urbanization process in Brazil, as well as the growth of urban space in Maceió. From this, the consequences of this urban expansion and the problem that the uncontrolled growth and lack of public policy brought to the less disadvantaged areas in the Reginaldo Basin are analyzed, mainly due to the lack of access to basic sanitation. Thus, an analysis and evaluation of the alternative chosen by the Renasce Salgadinho Project of the implementation of a filter garden as a solution to the situation of the Reginaldo/Salgadinho Creek in the treatment of its polluted waters is made, which, due to the absence of the sanitary sewage system, causes the irregular discharge of domestic sewage into the water body. The use of the filter garden adopted by the Renasce Salgadinho project was based on the model observed in the cities of Niterói-RJ and Sobral-CE and is being implemented in two regions of the Reginaldo Valley, one as a filtering pond at the meeting of the waters of the Pau D'Arco Creek with the Reginaldo Creek and three filter gardens in the direction to the Salgadinho Creek. In this aspect, after estimating the amount of effluent generated by the population residing in part of the region, it was observed that the treatment capacity of the filter gardens foreseen in the project will not be sufficient to treat all the sewage discharged into the stream, so that the environmental problem, even if on a smaller scale, will continue to be a reality for the local population and new techniques of disposal and treatment of effluents need to be associated with the use of filter gardens.Item Análise da experimentação química nos livros didáticos do Ensino Médio : adequação segundo os critérios do PNLD e a realidade das Escolas Públicas Estaduais de Maceió(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-02-21) Souza, Davdson Luiz de; Ferreira Junior, Jésu Costa; Ferreira, Joacy Vicente; Azevedo, Edmar Marinho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2213926589443334ABSTRACT The present research aims to analyze how the editions of the book "Ser Protagonista - Química" referring to the years 2015 and 2018 of the PNLD, distributed to the High School in public schools, are proposing the experimental activities. For the analysis of the experiments the qualitative research was used in the guides of the textbook of 2015 and 2018 and in the literature. With that, the adequacy and inadequacies of the experiments found in the books were judged and judged as to whether they were mechanical, investigative, their level of dangerousness and materials necessary for the application of the practice. Through the analysis of the results it was verified that some experimental activities present in textbooks do not meet the guidelines of official documents for education. In addition, it was noticed that some experimental activities were not related to the studied content. Not being considered satisfactory in what concerns the promotion of learning in the works analyzed. Thus, we sought to correct the inadequacies through substitutions of reagents and in more unsuitable cases the substitution of the experiment as a whole.Item Análise da qualidade da água do poço que abastece o residencial casa forte no bairro do Antares em Maceió-Al(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-01) Pereira, Debora Quezia Melquíades; Rodrigues, Tainara Ramos da Rocha Lins de Brito; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9605497566454699; Costa, Esdras Jonathan Honorato; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6045970740812728; Tenório, Májores de Omena; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4851705197260193It is known that surface waters available for human consumption are increasingly polluted, making groundwater important sources for water supply in cities. Therefore, evaluating the potability of water from boreholes is of paramount importance to ensure the safety of its consumers, as this process includes the analysis of physical-chemical and microbiological parameters to identify harmful substances and pathogenic microorganisms. Thus, the main objective of this study was to conduct a research on the water quality supplying a residential area located in the municipality of Maceió, Alagoas. Samples were collected and subjected to laboratory analysis during the months of August and September 2023, individually evaluating the parameters that make up the Water Quality Index (WQI), and subsequently comparing the results with the limits set by CONAMA Resolution No 357/2005. Throughout the study, it was observed that the WQI not only serves as an effective tool for communication with society, providing information about the quality conditions of water bodies, but is also the main qualitative indicator used in Brazil for water quality assessment. This systematic approach allows not only a comprehensive evaluation but also facilitates public understanding of the overall water quality conditions in the region. Thus, the importance of water quality analysis for human consumption is emphasized, highlighting its relevance in ensuring public health.Item Análise das demonstrações contábeis: balanços patrimoniais do Instituto Federal de Alagoas IFAL no período de 2017 - 2022(2024-10-09) Lima Sobrinho, Marcial de Araújo; Macêdo, Dartagnan Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2025788330054193; Santos, Diego da Guia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2442362471764000; Macêdo; Ribeiro, Ricardo Luís Alves de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280322604196844; Calheiros, Elder Soares da SilvaThe study analyzed the financial statements of the balance sheet of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IF-AL), a secondary and higher education institution located in the state of Alagoas, during the period from 2017 to 2022. In the midst of this period, the world faced the Covid-19 pandemic, which made these accounting analyses even more relevant. The study, of a quantitative nature, employed the statistical method of horizontal accounting analysis using publicly available accounting data from the institute. This allowed for the assessment and quantification of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on assets and liabilities, considering the situations before, during, and after the event. The study utilized the horizontal analysis method, which compares financial data across different periods to identify changes and trends, thereby revealing growth or decline in assets and liabilities. Among the study's objectives was a specific focus on accounting evolution, considering the challenges posed by the pandemic and previous revenue constraints. Notably, there was an abrupt decrease of -7.90% in current assets during the pandemic period from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, non-current assets showed gradual growth, ranging from 1.41% (2017-2018) to 74.14% (2021-2022). Regarding the evolution of liability accounting, current liabilities exhibited a significant variation—from 610.73% (2017-2018) to 14.56% (2021-2022). Non-current liabilities, although showing no variation between 2017 and 2018 (0.00%), experienced a considerable decrease of -92.19% from 2021 to 2022. The data analysis confirmed that the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IF-AL), despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, achieved satisfactory results in its assets and liabilities during different study periods.Item Análise de irregularidades em obras de construção civil com base na legislação urbanística da cidade de Maceió(2024-12-23) Santos, Lucas Emanoel Paulino da Silva; Costa, Esdras Jonathan Honorato; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6045970740812728; Santos Filho , Manoel Martins dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8060697649276101; Cavalcanti, Humberto Jorge Braga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3186056276253916Construction projects in the city should involve a technical team, adherence to bureaucratic procedures, and proper documentation in order to ensure that said projects comply with current legislation and technical standards. However, both unlawful construction projects without a permit and completed and occupied buildings without a certificate of occupancy are not uncommon. In Maceió, legislation such as the Master Plan and the Urbanism and Building Code guides urban development and provides the foundation for municipal inspections to check whether buildings comply with the established regulations. This research analyzes the work carried out by the city’s building inspection team regarding the issuance of notices of violation and of infraction for various types of non-compliance, including but not limited to any activity which requires a permit, such as construction, renovation, expansion, repairs, and demolitions; completed and occupied buildings without a certificate of occupancy; issues related to accessibility; and abandoned properties. The data was divided into different categories to facilitate quantitative analysis, with categories being year, neighborhoods, administrative regions, the type and stage of construction, and types of properties. A simplified guide was also developed for those seeking to correct code violations in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Maceió’s city government. The data analysis covers the period from 2020 to 2024, providing an overview of the work conducted by Maceió’s building inspection team, the regions and neighborhoods most targeted by inspections, and the most common types of properties to be non-compliant. Such studies are crucial for demonstrating the importance of public safety, of adherence to legislation, and of public confidence that the institutions in place are able to maintain order and ensure building safetyItem Análise do bloco principal do Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Campus Maceió nos parâmetros das legislações de combate a incêndio e emergência vigentes no estado de Alagoas(2025-07-02) Nunes, Fábio Crystian Peixoto; Machado, Alexandre Cunha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2428024851515021; Dória; Dória, Marden Vergetti Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5333357944285315; Almeida, Thamyrys Morgana Pontes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8249520310546287In each Brazilian state, there is a set of regulations that establish the minimum requirements to ensure that a building remains safe for both its structure and its occupants. In a fire and panic fighting project, there are active and passive safety measures. Among the passive measures is the study of emergency exits, ensuring that their types meet the minimum standards established by current regulations so they are not underdesigned, which would put users at risk. Additionally, at the state level, the Fire Department provides Technical Instructions (ITs), which are legal documents that outline the requirements to be met during the design and construction phases of a building in order to comply with legal fire safety obligations. These are verified through inspections carried out prior to the completion and delivery of the building, aiming at the issuance of the Fire Department Inspection Certificate (AVCB). This certificate is legally required for the operation of any type of enterprise, such as commercial buildings, condominiums, industries, among others. Therefore, this study aims to analyze whether the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Maceió Campus complies with the fire and panic safety requirements enforced by the Maceió Fire Department, in accordance with the relevant Technical Instructions of the state. Since these responsibilities fall under state jurisdiction, each unit may have specific or exclusive demands and requirements. The certification process is carried out through inspection, and if all conditions are met, the corresponding legal authorization document is issued by the supervising authority. Accordingly, the guidelines of each relevant Technical Instruction (TI) mandatory for IFAL Maceió Campus will be analyzed item by item, verifying their presence and determining whether they are compliant, non-compliant, or not applicable. Ultimately, this document is intended to serve as a repository for the institution and as a reference for the development of its remaining fire safety projects.
