In this context, mathematical language is used to transpose ideas and theories to paper and its use is indispensable in Physics classes. Thus, the present work investigated the use of the mathematical language through a form (made for the students) directed to the knowledge of wave, besides analyzing the students' perception. The application of the form was carried out at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas - IFAL, located in the countryside of the state of Alagoas - AL, in four classes of the 2nd year of High school/Technical Education, totaling 91 (ninety one) participants. The research used a qualitative approach for the analysis, aiming to establish relationships between the answers and the comments made by the study subjects. At the end of the work, it was possible to notice some difficulties of the students in using the mathematical language in basic situations, such as quantizing characteristics of a transverse wave, doing graphic analysis, in which one can notice embarrassments in obtaining information present in the graphs, among others. Therefore, one should think about teaching strategies that can mitigate problems with mathematical equations and their respective concepts, in order to favor that “liquid” learning can reach new “airs”, making the physical-mathematical assimilation and development more crystalline for students, who will be able to use the knowledge obtained to raise new scientific horizons.Item Uma abordagem da Cicloide: "a Helena da geometria"(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-01-25) Silva, Jefferson Marinho da; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Oliveira, Elinelson Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4985621981248771; Silva, Tiago Marinho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3964717265579881This work presents a brief historical research on the cycloid, in addition to an intuitive construction on the curve, working on the definition and parameterization. This research discusses pedagogical practices that link the contents to the playful context of presenting the cycloid and not just algebraic as in calculation books. Taking into account the context of Mathematics, this proposal presents as a problem the lack of interest in the study of the curve, considering that its use was left aside by mathematicians. In the context of these problems, the proposal intends to awaken the relevance of the cycloid, answering the following questions: how to motivate the understanding of the cycloid? How to show practicality through your application? The main objective of the proposal is to present in a more practical way the understanding of the cycloid. This work is based on studies by Boyer (2012), Bustillo and Sassine (2011) and Stewart (2013). With the results, it was possible to observe that although we have other ways to calculate the cycloid, the best way would be with the parametric equations, as they bring us a simpler way of calculating the curve. We sought to identify whether the conceptual development of the theme, the presentation, and the graphic proposal of the textbook contribute to making the book more accessible to the deaf community. In that regard, there are city council portals that provide information on acting councilors, news about the councils, in addition to containing the transparency portal, which has information on government actions, budgetary and financial execution (revenues and expenses), among others. Just like any system that is connected to the Internet, such portals may have security vulnerabilities that put the services offered by them at risk, as well as the data of the users who use them. The present work has the general objective of verifying any existing security vulnerabilities in portals of the municipal councils of the state of Alagoas so that it is possible to analyze the vulnerabilities according to the OWASP Top 10 classification of 2021, as well as to evaluate vulnerabilities found according to the Interlegis model and according to the GDP of the cities. To collect vulnerabilities, the Wapiti scanner was used. The results obtained showed that the total number of vulnerabilities found was 667. Furthermore, 10% of portals had critical vulnerabilities. As examples of the types of vulnerabilities found: Injection - which allows malicious queries to databases and Incorrect Security Configuration - which can lead to theft of user sessions.Item Análise do monitoramento dos sinais motores da doença de Parkinson: uma revisão sistemática(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-05-31) Lima, Mayara Rysia de Assis; Medeiros, Leonardo Melo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1080593968001453; Costa, Breno Jacinto Duarte da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7418697922506495; Passos, Frederico Salgueiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6590059682506348Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is a chronic degenerative disease that causes a motor disorder affecting the individual’s routine tasks and destabilizing their quality of life. The most notable motor signs make up a tetrad: rigidity, bradykinesia, postural and gait changes, and resting tremor. Thus, the medical examination requires an assessment of motor movements, emphasizing the speed, amplitude and rhythm of each movement, in order to monitor the symptoms and improve the clinical diagnosis. In order to distinguish improvements or evolutions of PD, motor assessment methods become increasingly indispensable, and in the literature, systems or mechanisms for quantifying these symptoms are found, the most recurrent being for the signs of bradykinesia, aided by the most well-known skill test, the Finger-Tapping Test (FTT). However, none of them is yet able to prove a definitive diagnosis, therefore relying on the interpretation of a neurologist. This research presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with academic artifacts produced, which demonstrate relevant data on motor movements and their quantification, using mostly the MDS UPDRS part III scale as a guide, in order to extract a set of requirements to be developed in a system for monitoring the progress of Parkinson’s motor signs, using the finger tapping test (FTT) as a technique. The unwillingness of some teachers to talk about real number theory and history leads the student to believe that they exist by chance, wlich leads students to accept ready-made formulas. In some cases the teacher itself omits this topic, without attaching much importance to learning, and many students finish high school without knowing why real(ou irrational?) numbers exist and go unnoticed as to how the set of real numbers can be described. The main aim of this work is a critical study of real numbers, from the point of view of a mathematics teacher, this ondergraduate student herself, based on experiences lived in the school career, which can be seen that many undergraduates in mathematics also face a lot of difficulty in trying to understand a subject that seems simple at first, but there are several divergences, as a result, we will analyze the ideal procedures that suit our reality in mathematics teaching, as well as propose to future teachers ways of passing the content to students in a didactic and comprehensive approach, offering students a deeper view of the subject, so they may enjoy the proposed content. While ICTs have brought benefits, such as flexibility in learning and access to educational resources, it has also exposed significant challenges, such as lack of access to technology and quality connectivity. This paper presents a risk-oriented analysis of the performance of information and communication technologies in the context of remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is a qualitative research of exploratory nature, where information was collected from a literature search and the application of the risk management methodology. The general objective of this research is to analyze how the gamification applied to the digital game that addresses concepts of Astronomy, can contribute to the teaching and learning of students of the 6th year of EF (elementary School). As specific objectives we have the development of a game built on the Scratch platform to address basic concepts of Astronomy in a playful and interactive way, the proposal of a gamified lesson plan on basic concepts of Astronomy for students of the 6th year of Elementary School using the educational product elaborated as the main didactic resource, and finally, to analyze the adequacy of the game, observing its possibilities for the understanding of contents: the observation of the sky, instruments and astronomical models. The game has a course of houses with different levels and different themes, such as the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, the planets of the solar system, the stars and the galaxies. Each house has questions and challenges related to the theme, which must be solved by the player in order to move on to the next house. Its study base is four monographs from higher education institutions in the Brazilian northeast region. Firstly, there is a brief explanation of the main methodologies used in the education of the deaf student, later it is explained about the role of professionals involved in the teaching-learning process of deaf students, in addition to their competences both in the linguistic field and in the context of teaching physical. The present research uses as a methodological basis the systematic review of a qualitative nature, which is based on a literary search and then a synthesis of the points to be analyzed in order to answer a problem (What are the main difficulties in the teaching-learning process in for students with hearing impairment?). With this methodology we can verify that the teaching of physics is taking place in a disjointed way with the needs of the students, especially with the hearing impaired students. It is also noted that the supports provided by educational institutions, such as the interpreter and textbooks, are not enough to promote the academic advancement of deaf students. In this way, our general objective was to reflect on the teaching-learning process during the pandemic period in IFAL's degree courses. As specific objectives, we seek to know the institutional regulations that guided teaching and learning practices in emergency remote teaching at IFAL, as well as analyzing the differences between remote teaching and face-to-face teaching from the perspective of students. As a methodological proposal, semi- structured interviews were carried out with 04 undergraduate students from the Maceió - AL campus. Based on the analyzed data, aspects such as the construction of digital skills and abilities, the flexibility of times and spaces for learning and the multiplicity of communication tools between teacher trainers and students in the Degrees were identified as positive aspects of the period. The present study aimed to evaluate the degree of usability of the (PEC) of the e-Sus AB information system, based on Nielsen's heuristics by two specialists and with the System Usability Scale (SUS), from the perspective of professionals from family health teams. For that, it was necessary to analyze the usability of the (PEC), of the e-Sus AB information system, as well as to evaluate the degree of user satisfaction in the use of the (PEC), as well as to identify the main difficulties presented by the users when using the (PEC), in order to contribute to a better understanding of the usability assessment processes of health information systems, and finally, to propose a prototype of screens with improvements of the PEC system. This is a research of a basic nature, with a quantitative and qualitative approach and a cross sectional survey, using two objectives: Exploratory and Descriptive. The research had a universe of 12 (twelve) Family Health Units (USF), belonging to the municipality of São Luís do Quitunde, in the interior of the State of Alagoas. As a data collection instrument, the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire and Nielsen's heuristics were used, used for the heuristic evaluation. As well as the proposal of a prototype of screens containing improvements. It was found that the (SUS) presented itself as a simple and efficient instrument for usability assessment. The evaluation through the SUS, found a good evaluation of the users of the system, with a score of 70%, classifying the system as good. In the heuristic evaluation, the violation of two heuristics was identified, among them the heuristic, control and user freedom and the heuristic help and documentation. The temporary contracts are one of the key points for the maintenance of this goal and thus their management is essential for internal control in order to deal with audits from inspection agencies. The objective of this work is to computerize the management process of temporary contracts, in order to improve the execution of administrative services, which are interpreted as a concentration point of several deadlocks, susceptible to improvement and corrections through the use of business process modeling and that through the use of an information system it is possible to automate the process from the analysis of the current model (AS-IS) and the implementation of a proposed model (TO-BE). A systematic literature review was developed about the management of temporary contracts based on the use of business process modeling (BPM), focused on people management in order to identify needs and difficulties that prevent the satisfactory implementation of BPM in the public sector. Finally, a partnership was established with a city hall for the application of this work, which made possible the successful implementation of BPM and the validation of the developed system, called ConSys, whose results confirmed the benefits of its use, especially allied to information systems, with the purpose of contributing to public administration.Item Dando sentido a equações do segundo grau a partir do uso do material dourado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-29) Almeida, Igor Carlos Alvim de; Siqueira, Anderson Rangel Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8130778140721340; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Santos, Givaldo Oliveira dosIn this present work, applied at Theonilo Gama State School, located in the Jacintinho neighborhood in Maceió-AL, where I participated in the Pedagogical Residency program by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maceió campus. In classes “A” and “D” of the 3rd grade of high school, we are going to demystify the difficulty that some students had when faced with the subject of high school equations, in which the covid-19 pandemic classes at school were very affected and these students had great difficulty in solving both first and second degree equations. In order to resolve the doubts on the subject, we used the golden material to apply and solve the quadratic equations, in which another possibility of finding the roots of polynomials was demonstrated, associating the algebraic part with the geometric part, through the manipulation of this object. Through the use of this instrument, it was possible to develop the skills and abilities necessary to understand the relationships discussed in the classroom and to find roots of a quadratic equation, as well as the sides of a rectangle formed by the pieces of golden material. The proposed IoT system allows the customer to monitor the availability of parking spaces in a parking lot, bringing convenience when searching for them, promoting security for the user, as he can see whether the vehicle is still parked or not, and credibility for the application contractor, for offering all these services. Using knowledge in programming language to develop the system and the Application Programming Interface (API), the embedded system communicates with a database, translating them so that the main objective of the system is achieved, thus, each piece of information passed through these technologies must be treated with care, as it is the system's responsibility to pass on accurate information to the user. This work aims to assist in the analysis and treatment of data by proposing a solution for the analysis and visualization of compulsory notifications of domestic violence. The goal is to provide decision-making support to authorities in addressing such incidents. The main objective is to conduct a data analysis and develop a data visualization solution to aid the Municipal Health Department of Arapiraca and the Strategic Information Center for Health Surveillance (CIEVS) in decision-making and the creation of action plans and public policies to combat this incidence. After data processing and requirements gathering, an application based on storytelling concepts was developed. Thus, based on the research carried out, it was found that there is a certain lack of interest on the part of students regarding the subject of Physics in public schools, which is pointed out by several authors. Some of them state that the factors contributing to this deficiency range from teacher training to students' difficulties in understanding the subject, to the need for public educational policies that promote better working conditions for teachers. Therefore, a direct consequence of the problems raised is an evident prejudice in the teaching-learning process of Physics since many students show a lack of affinity and motivation towards this subject. In this perspective, the conceptual framework of Ausubel's significant learning is highlighted, taking into consideration the importance of organizing the time of the classes with space for the students to show the knowledge already acquired about the contents discussed in the classroom. It is understood that the importance of participation and interaction of students is part of a learning with quality because it stimulates discoveries and creativity. National indicators point to gaps in the training of Brazilian citizens regarding their financial literacy, whilst international bodies point out that the economic health of a country is associated with the level of financial education of its population. However, the presence of this topic in the National Common Curricular Base as a suggested content is slim. The present work seeks to link contents already covered in the Mathematics curriculum of the final years of elementary school to themes of financial education. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out on financial education and the production of educational products. In the history of the education of the deaf, numerous reports show the obstacles faced by them over several years to gain access to education, where teaching methods aimed at them were created by listeners who do not speak the same language as the deaf subject, which influenced in current teaching methods. That said, during the monitoring experience, it was possible to observe and experience what the reality of inclusive education is like and in this journey, several causes were witnessed that lead to the learning difficulties of this deaf student in their learning of chemical science through the methodologies applied by the teachers.This theme proved to be of great relevance because it takes into account a reflection on the quality of the current chemistry teaching offered to deaf students and with it we intend to disturb the chemistry professors about elaborating inclusive practices that allow the involvement of these subjects in their classes, thus establishing a good inclusion, favoring them to have a quality education that leads them to the construction of scientific knowledge.Item Equações diferenciais ordinárias de segunda ordem: uma abordagem analítica e com o software GeoGebra(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-30) Lima, Jonathan Willams Lins de Ataide; Lima, Leon Cavalcante; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7616688310117461; Nascimento, Arlyson Alves do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9395417554768580; Silva Júnior, Rinaldo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9156830519836354; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700Models involving Ordinary Second Order Differential Equations are present in several problems in various areas of Exact and Earth Sciences, through applications in fluid mechanics, heat conduction, electrical circuits and electromagnetic phenomena. In this sense, the present work presents a study on these equations, covering the fundamental concepts of first-order to second-order equations. Throughout the development of the work, with the exception of the analysis via GeoGebra, the independent variable was time, so that we could also cover Physics students, considering that in general all physical models are based on this parameter. For the application, we brought two problems involving mathematical modeling, the first being a model for detecting diabetes and the other involving a series circuit RLC. Initially, we carried out an analytical analysis of the two problems, detailing how all the calculations were made, and the other was carried out using a applet created in software GeoGebra during a technological initiation project developed at Instituto Federal de Alagoas - Campus Maceió, with the aim of students being able to combine the theoretical part with the practical part. Understanding the solution methods is an important step during the process of teaching and learning differential equations, considering that it was only possible to develop this interactive window by understanding how these methods work. Sunscreens are substances capable of absorbing, reflecting or refracting UV and thus protecting the skin. The effectiveness of these products is measured through the sun protection factor (SPF), which indicates how much the photoprotective formulation is capable of protecting an individual from this radiation. Currently, the search and use of plant bioactives to protect the skin from the adverse effects of solar radiation has increased significantly, due to the diversity of organic compounds produced by plants, which have the capacity to stabilize free radicals, especially phenolic compounds, which have chromophores in its structure, which promote the absorption of radiation at wavelengths compatible with UV rays, proving suitable for the composition of solar filters, enhancing skin protection. Physalis angulata L. (camapu) belongs to the Solanaceae family and occurs mainly in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil, where it is used in folk medicine as an anti-inflammatory and in the treatment of skin problems. The present work aimed to verify the photoprotective potential of extracts from parts of the camapu plant, and to analyze the FPS behavior of a commercial sunscreen solution “FPS 30” when incorporated with these active ingredients, through in vitro analysis, of the spectrophotometric method. The results obtained demonstrated photoprotective activity of camapu flower and leaf extracts, obtaining FPS values equal to 21.38 and 7.15, respectively, at a concentration of 300 ppm, and allowed us to visualize the effectiveness of the leaf extract as a chemical sunscreen. when it comes to a photoprotective formulation. Therefore, it was concluded that the Physalis Angulata L. leaf extract associated with the photoprotective formulation enhanced the activity of the formulation, increasing its FPS by up to 40.97%, which suggests its indication for use in sunscreens, in addition to reduce production costs, knowing that natural raw materials tend to be cheaper.
