In addition to this development, there has been an increase in school dropout rates. This research generally intends to investigate the variables that can be used in the modeling of predictive analysis of school dropout in Integrated High School (Agricultural Course) of IFAL - Campus Satuba. The problem question that is intended to be answered is: what variable trends can be used in a predictive analysis model, according to the dropout student profile that can measure the probability of school dropout risk in the scope of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) at the average level offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) - Campus Satuba? For this, a study was carried out in the technical course integrated to the high school in agriculture at IFAL - Campus Satuba. The methodology of this investigation was of the action-research type, since its methodological procedures are strongly linked to an interventionist action. The present research, regarding the approach and its nature, is of the mixed type, qualitative and quantitative. The data collection instruments were: official data from the academic system of the Academic Registration Coordination of the Campus, modalities applied to incoming students and interviews with the servants who attended directly in the course. The technique for analyzing the data used is predictive analysis, machine learning algorithms, binary logistic regression and statistical-mathematical model. This study explores the benefits of this sustainable technique, highlighting an enriching experience aimed at cultivating environmental awareness in 7th- grade students at a public school in the Luziápolis District, Campo Alegre, Alagoas. The objective of this work is to promote artisinal composting as a pedagogical tool and evaluate, through a gamified activity, the understanding of concepts related to environmental education. The research included lectures on solid waste, composting, and sustainability, the assembly and monitoring of handmade composters, followed by a discussion circle to present results and a Kahoot quiz with five questions on the topics covered during the project. After implementing the pedagogical practices, it was found that 75% of the students correctly conceptualized the composting process, 70% understood the meaning of solid waste, 86% correctly defined recycling, 37% understood the concept of reuse, and 75% recognized the principle of sustainability. This experience highlights the importance of such activities in understanding knowledge and developing skills that prepare students to act consciously, critically, and participatively in promoting sustainability and building a more just and balanced world.Item Curadoria de conteúdo para área da Agroecologia(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-06-20) Rocha, Renata Maria Wanderley da; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira deItem Educação em saúde no Instituto Federal de Alagoas: um estudo sobre a organização de espaços pedagógicos e ações educativas em um campus do agreste alagoano(2024) Cavalcante, Silvana Medeiros Costa; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; Silva, Jaqueline Maria daThe dissertation's theme is Health Education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas: a study on the organization of pedagogical spaces and educational actions on a campus in rural Alagoas and is the result of applied research that aimed to develop didactic/instructional material on the processes of organization of educational spaces and health education actions carried out by professionals from the Student Assistance Team. Located in the area of teaching, the research assumed a methodological perspective guided by action research with a qualitative approach, having as its universe of analysis the spaces of activity of Ifal Student Assistance. The research was developed in three stages: I) diagnostic stage of the Student Assistance Team profile, where information was collected about the health education spaces and practices on the Campus, through a structured questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with these professionals and consulted Institutional documents such as the Student Assistance Policy, among others; II) stage of proposing and developing instructional teaching material, aimed at systematizing health education spaces and practices, involving professionals from the Student Assistance Team; III) stage was application with testing and evaluation of the educational product by the aforementioned Ifal Team. The results of the application were systematized based on three categories of analysis, which evaluated the aesthetics and organization, writing and criticality of the Educational Product, obtaining positive results from more than 80% of participants. With the proliferation of the coronavirus (Covid-19), isolation was an exceptional measure to reduce the number of infected. With isolation, people resorted to the virtual dimension to continue with their daily activities. As for teaching, it moved from physical classrooms to the virtual environment. The justification for this work was due to the fact that in this process many difficulties arise in handling the different teaching platforms and, in this context, the search for student engagement and interaction. So, the main objective was to identify the strategies used by the professors of a Professional School of Nursing, from the accomplishment of a bibliographic survey. This study intends to answer what are the didactic strategies that the professors of the professionalizing nursing course are using in the period of remote teaching. In addition to the bibliographic study on remote teaching, a questionnaire was applied to teachers of the nursing course who work in professional education using remote teaching during the pandemic in the new coronavirus, the results showed dissatisfaction with student performance, lack of feedback and inaccessibility technology by many, making teaching and learning difficult. The aim was identifying the online strategies used by teachers in remote teaching in the pandemic period. A qualitative approach through a quiz about remote teaching and the use of online strategies for students was answered by 10 teachers and 21 students. The highlighted result was the use of online strategies by 60% of professors and 95,2% of students took them. Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) have changed relationships between people, the internet has expanded access to the universe of knowledge and schools cannot ignore this new reality. Faced with these new requirements, Vocational and Technological Education (EPT) needs to seek ways of acting that privilege student training for the exercise of citizenship and their insertion in the job market, which imposes new skills and competences. During the isolation imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, educational institutions were forced to seek alternatives to remote teaching, thus using the available digital means. As a result, teachers in a short space of time had to change their way of working, leaving the physical classroom for the virtual space, which means a great challenge. Recent studies show the importance of using digital tools in education both in face-to-face and remote teaching. Despite this, many educators still face difficulties in the application of these resources in pedagogical work. In addition to specifically reflecting on the diagnosis of the need for continuing education of professionals (or not) who work in the management of Professional and Technological Education at Ifal – Campus Maceió, identify the advantages and disadvantages of applying a course on electronic bidding in Professional and Technological Education and evaluate the possibility of applying the course in the format of an extension course. The theoretical basis presented a brief history of the initial milestones and some references regarding Professional and Technological Education and made considerations about management in Professional and Technological Education, emphasizing both the importance of training people and the theories of Andragogy in the context of the adult teaching and learning process, in addition to the recognition of Administrative Technicians in Education, having as a basis for the formatting of the Educational Product the Theory of Significant Learning by David Paul Ausubel, concomitantly with the three thematic axes of Gabriel Kaplún and the content typologies presented by Antoni Zabala. To achieve the objectives, a qualitative research methodology was adopted, of the action research type, organized in the following stages: (1) exploratory; (2) diagnostic; (3) elaboration of the Educational Product online continuing education course on electronic bidding; (4) application of the Educational Product; (5) evaluation and validation of the Educational Product. The data collection instruments were document analysis and online questionnaires for diagnosis and evaluation of the Educational Product. The data were analyzed using Laurence Bardin's content analysis technique in three fundamental phases: pre-analysis; exploration of the material and treatment of the results. The results achieved with this research were the construction of an Educational Product of the online continuing education course type that contributed to the training of professionals in the sphere of electronic bidding. Although it emerged with the aim of preventing accidents and occupational diseases, Labor Gymnastics has been widely used as a promoter of physical and mental health and used in different contexts. In the educational context, it is still very restricted to academic research, lacking more effective actions, given its benefits to the physical and psychological health of the student. This research discusses the elaboration of an Educational Product and was guided by the problem-question: how to elaborate an Educational Product in the form of an educational video on Labor Gymnastics, which can be used by any student enrolled in technical courses integrated into high school as a strategy of stress prevention and control? In this way, the objective was to analyze the possibilities of inclusion of Labor Gymnastics in Technical Courses Integrated to High School. The research methodology is qualitative action-research type. The subjects of the research were the students of the Integrated High School of IFAL, Campus Satuba. The data collection instruments were: a diagnostic questionnaire and an Educational Product (EP) evaluation questionnaire. To analyze the data we use the technique of Content Analysis. The analyzes were organized by categories, as follows: diagnostic questionnaire - 1) student profile; 2) student occupation activities; 3) Relationship between health and school activities; 4) Student leisure activities; Educational Product assessment questionnaire – 1) self-perception; 2) content relevance; 3) clarity in approach and content; 4) dynamics. The results of the diagnostic questionnaire showed positive results in relation to the guiding question of the research, insofar as they served to guide the construction of the NP. The results obtained through the Educational Product evaluation questionnaire showed that physical activity is among the activities most often cited by students in stress control, so we believe that Labor Gymnastics can present itself as an effective strategy to beexplored in the context school as a management in the control of student stress. We also highlight that video is a didactic resource that has elements (language, duration, clarity, dynamics, content approach, sound, image) that, when well explored, can transmit information effectively. This research is of a qualitative nature of the collaborative action research type of approach, the instruments collected from data were interviews and questionnaires. It was developed in three stages: 1) The diagnosis was carried out through the application of twenty-four questionnaires with the teachers of the Physical Education curricular component of IFAL, 2) elaboration and application of the educational product and 3) Evaluation and Validation of the educational product. The place where the research was carried out was Ifal, and the application of the educational product was the Ifal Campus Murici. At the time of application, 30 students enrolled in the 2nd year of the Technical Course in Agroindustry participated. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results obtained indicated the intentionality of the students regarding the application of the content of fighting in school physical education classes, to be practiced during their training process at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL). In addition, the importance of a didactic sequence of the content of fighting so that physical education professionals can apply it in their classes was highlighted. It was observed that 66.7% of the teachers interviewed work with the content of fighting in their classes, 20.8% work occasionally, and 12.5% do not include fighting in their annual planning. These data show that a significant portion of the teachers already address the content of fighting, which reinforces the information of Moura et al., (2017), who highlight that the topic has been the subject of recent investigations. As a result, some mistaken perceptions, such as the idea that fighting generates violence or fights, are being replaced by the many benefits that this content can bring to students. We also found that there is a high interest among students in the subject of fighting, which is valued by most students. The intention is, therefore, to effectively include fighting in school physical education classes, correlating the physical education curricular matrices in IFAL (PGD) with the didactic sequence created as an Educational Product (PE) and considering the social characteristics of students, in order to promote their integral development. This research opens possibilities for future studies that add and deepen the understanding of the content of fighting in the Physical Education (PE) curricular component in the context of professional and technological education. When they enter Professional and Technological Education, young people are led to understand their education in an integral way, within an approach that prepares them not only for the job market, but above all to act actively in society. The research addresses the development of an Educational Product and was guided by the following problem question: Will the creation of a Teaching Manual on the organization of information at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas (IFAL) - Maceió Campus, help students enrolled in secondary technical education integrated with basic education to understand the educational and organizational processes? The aim was to investigate the contributions of a teaching manual on IFAL's institutional and academic information. The research methodology is qualitative, of the action-research type, developed according to the following itinerary: 1st) diagnosis; 2nd) development of data collection instruments and strategies; 3rd) registration of the Research Project on the Brazil Platform and with the Research Ethics Committee; 4th) strategic communication with the management and sectors involved in the research at the IFAL Maceió Campus; 5th) data collection; 6th) analysis and processing of the data collected; 7th) preparation of the educational product; and finally, the last, 8th) evaluation and validation of the didactic manual. The participants in this research are made up of two distinct groups. The first group is made up of students who are duly enrolled in high school technical education, integrated with basic education at IFAL - Campus Maceió, and the second group is made up of managers who work in the pedagogy, psychology, student assistance and support center for people with specific needs. The data collection instruments were a diagnostic questionnaire and an Educational Product (EP) evaluation form for the students, as well as a semi-structured interview for the managers. To analyze the data, we used the Content Analysis technique. The analyses were organized by dimensions of analysis as follows: semi-structured interview - 1) Functioning of the sectors; 2) Services offered; 3) Contributions; 4) Operationalization; 5) Dissemination. Diagnostic questionnaire: 1) Student profile; 2) Perception of the organization of academic sectors; 3) Understanding of services; 4) Access to information. The diagnostic questionnaire and semi-structured interview showed positive results in relation to the research's guiding question, in that they served to guide the construction of the Educational Product. The results from the evaluation form filled in by the students and the feedback received from the psychology sector manager regarding the Educational Product revealed that the manual provides a comprehensive overview of the procedures, clarifying doubts and providing relevant guidelines to guide students on their journey at IFAL. Therefore, studies and actions are needed that can contribute to the preservation and conservation of this ichthyofauna. Considering that teaching practice needs to be increasingly driven to the diversity of approaches and expansion of methodological strategies. In this context, we sought to integrate the different knowledge about fish, basin and ichthyofauna, from a didactic sequence that brought together different strategies as alternatives for the effective practice and promotion of scientific knowledge and help the teacher to develop diversified activities in the course of their practice. The didactic sequence was applied in a 1st year class of the Technical Course in Integrated Agriculture to High School of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas (IFAL), targeting 20 students. The research has a qualitative focus, with the methodological contribution of action research and we adopted the use of a questionnaire as a data collection instrument, structured to contemplate information in three major approaches: I. Profile of the interviewee; II. Knowledge about the river; III. Knowledge about fish; IV. Knowledge on environmental problems. Some steps were adopted, which formed a sequence that included four established phases: diagnosis, planning, intervention and verification of learning. The sequence included: (1) Exhibition and dialogued classes, (2) Didactic game and (3) Textual production. During the initial activities, great ignorance about fish, ichthyofauna and the São Francisco River (its economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects) was identified. The objective of this study was to map the published works (dissertations and theses) between 2012- 2022 on Biology teaching topics related to Scientific Literacy. A mapping was carried out by studies (dissertations and theses) that used scientific literacy in the teaching of biology published between 2012-2022. For this, the BDTD database was used. After applying the previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria, 68 research studies (dissertations and theses) were confirmed, with 25% published in 2020. Regarding the “research focus”, genetics (13%) and ecology (13%) were indicated. 13%) were the most strategic subjects in the studies. One tool that may collaborate in this action is WebQuest, characterized by a guided research in which the Internet is used to build knowledge. Therefore, the current proposal seeks to expose a reflection about the experience report of the elaboration and application of a WebQuest tool (WQ), where it was worked on a content of the science curricular component in the 7th grade classrooms of middle school in the final years of a school in the municipality of Boca da Mata - Alagoas, held in the practice period of regency of the third supervised internship, during remote teaching. In this regard, it is used a descriptive methodological approach, thus presenting a challenging and interactive proposal, the research was divided into three stages: the WebQuest creation process about vertebrate animals, followed by the application to students and finally, an implementation of analyses and reflections on the methodology. In order to identify the main skills of the students from the proposed task, that way the students were assessed through assessment by rubric. The result contributes to the importance of the tool and the increasing of information, providing opportunities for the knowledge and school learning of the students. Therefore, as a matter of urgency, remote classes began in most educational institutes. As a consequence of the great change of environments, teachers and students felt a lot of difficulty in learning, since until then they had not had this ability before. Taking into account such difficulties to teach an online room, the need for new methodologies was evident. Educational institutions use various tools that help both in the development of classes and in the methods of evaluative activities and, therefore, the present experience report carried out with some scholarship holders and a supervisory teacher of PIBID-IFAL, seeks to emphasize the use of the Kahoot platform. As a result of the activity carried out, the platform was very useful for the students, as it brings with it a diversity of activities that attract the student's interest.
