This is an experience report, with a data collection carried out through observation. It was found that knowledge about medicinal plants was inherited in the family context; that those surveyed expressed knowledge of a good diversity of therapeutic species and; that few knew the public policies in question. It is understood that the research was relevant, both to bring popular and scientific knowledge closer together, and to highlight the importance of working on these policies in Nursing Course classesItem Ensino e aprendizagem através de Makerspaces: uma revisão sistemática da literatura(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-06) Albuquerque, Cassiano Henrique de; Cavalcante, Patrícia SmithThis article reports the results of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on teaching and learning processes in makerspaces. Seventy-two articles were analyzed in the databases Science Direct, IEEE Explore, SCIELO-Brasil, Periódico CAPES, BDTD, and Google Scholar, following the Kitchenham protocol and the PRISMA methodology. The results highlight common elements in makerspaces in general, but also emphasize a research gap in technical and vocational education in particular. The identified deficiencies include limited infrastructure, lack of teacher training, inadequate curriculum integration, and challenges in assessing and recognizing the knowledge acquired in makerspaces.Item Escrita técnica colaborativa: teoria, prática e interdisciplinaridade na formação profissional em eletroeletrônica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-11-23) Pereira, Renata Imaculada Soares; Cavalcante, Sandra Araújo Lima; Oliveira, Ernany Santos de; Mendes, Beatriz Corrêa de Araújo; Caetano, Anne karolyne; Jucá, Sandro César SilveiraItem Espaços 4.0 e a educação maker: mapeamento do perfil do docente para atuar em cursos de qualificação tecnológica(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10) Ferreira, Líllian Franciele Silva; Albuquerque, Cassiano Henrique de; Pereira, Renata Imaculada Soares; Cavalcante, Patrícia SmithThe present paper aims to analyze the teacher profile of the instructors who participated in a Maker Education training offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), and worked between the months of May and June 2022, in practical, technological and innovative short courses within the scope of the Espaço 4.0 project. The Espaço 4.0 project consists of six maker environments built in a custom container, equi- pped with 3D printers, computers, drones (quadcopters), Educational Robotics and Internet of Things kits, tools and instruments; with a focus on training young people aged between 15 and 29 in Industry 4.0 enabling technologies. The maker training carried out by the instructors consisted of addressing content related to active methodologies, maker culture, digital resources, design thinking and prototyping. The instructors who participated in the training effectively started activities related to the courses from May 2022. Methodologically, this research is exploratory and qualitative in nature, focusing on the analysis of the initial questionnaire applied to the teachers who participated in the maker training for the courses that took place simultaneously in Espaços 4.0 distributed in six Ifal campuses. The initial results presen- ted show that most instructors have a degree of specialization and do not have experience in teaching, with pedagogical practice in Espaços 4.0 being the first teacher contact with students, in a formal education experience. Finally, limitations related to the Hard Skills of the instructors, the potential for internalizing the pillars of the maker culture (creativity, collaboration, sustainability and scalability) and digital skills with handling the innovative technologies available in Spaces 4.0 were identified, which enhances the importance to promote continuing education, based on maker aspects, to help professional performance in these innovative spaces.Item Formação Pedagógica em Educação e Mediação Tecnológica: um relato de experiência(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022) Albuquerque, Cassiano Henrique de; Sousa, José Mateus Queiroz; Soares, Artemísia dos Santos; Cavalcante, Patrícia SmithNenhumItem Inclusão tecnológica de estudantes com necessidades específicas: um relato de experiência em Espaços Maker do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023) Albuquerque, Cassiano Henrique de; Cavalcante, Patrícia Smith; Ferreira, Líllian Franciele Silva; Pereira, Renata Imaculada Soares; Almeida, Flávia Bartira Pedro da SilvaThis article aims to present the experience report on the planning and implementation of two courses (3D Modeling and Printing and Internet of Things) carried out through an inclusive maker project at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), to accommodate students with specific needs. The courses were held at Ifal campuses in the cities of Arapiraca and São Miguel dos Campos in Alagoas, in January and March 2023, with a duration of 20 hours each. The initial results highlight the importance of adapting offerings for this audience, as well as the positive impact of these initiatives on the lives of visually and hearing impaired students.Item Influence of Polycarboxylic Ether Superplasticizer (PCE) on the Absorption Capacity of Sulfate- and Potassium-Based Superabsorbent Polymers (SAPs) for Use in Cement-Based Materials(2025-05-20) Maciel, Priscila de Souza; Silva, Maria Luiza Malta da Rocha; Bezerra, Augusto Cesar da Silva; Tenório Filho, José Roberto; Gomes, Paulo César CorreiaSuperabsorbent polymers (SAPs) have a highly hydrophilic network, absorbing and retaining large amounts of water or aqueous solutions, making them useful for internal curing in cement-based materials. Absorption is influenced by the SAPs characteristics, the medium, and the testing method. In many studies reporting on the use of SAPs in cementitious materials, their absorption capacity is usually tested via demineralized water or artificial cement filtrate solution (which does not always include the presence of superplasticizers). PCE-based superplasticizers are among the most used chemical admixtures for concrete, especially when fluid/self-compacting mixtures are produced, and their chemical composition can strongly influence the absorption capacity of different types of SAPs (due to the presence of polymer chains with sulfonic groups (-SO3H)). This study focused on determining the absorption capacity of three commercial SAPs for use as internal curing agents. The absorption capacity was investigated via the tea-bag method, filtration test, and slump-flow test with cement pastes. The chemical composition significantly influenced absorption: SAP A (with higher K2O content) presented lower absorption with the superplasticizer, whereas SAPs B and C (higher SO3) were less impacted because the high polarity favored absorption. The results indicate that the addition of superplasticizers can negatively affect the performance of SAPs in specific applications in civil construction. This impact highlights the need for further investigations into the absorption and desorption mechanisms of SAPs in the presence of these additives, with the aim of optimizing dosing strategies and improving field application methodologies.Item O uso das tecnologias digitais no ensino de língua portuguesa no contexto pandêmico e pós-pandêmico(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-08-29) Oliveira, Regiane Costa de Oliveira; Reis, Divanir Maria de Lima; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0989-9641; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9955165966530603; Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7428490483642315; Reis, Divanir Maria de Lima; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0989-9641; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9955165966530603; Santos, Erinaldo da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7428490483642315; Cavalcante, Sandra Araújo Lima; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5438-3591; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1201376467996441This study seeks to analyze the transformations resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic in relation to the use of Digital Information Technologies as a methodological teaching tool. The objective of this study was to investigate how these technologies were used during the pandemic and how this use has been implemented or not in educational institutions at the present time. The theoretical basis used in this research is anchored in studies that demonstrate how digital information technologies are necessary for education, with authors such as Kenski (2012) and Moran, Masetto e Behrens (2013), who helped in the conceptual construction of how educational institutions should enter the technological world, considering the need to bring contextualization with life outside the “school walls” into the classroom, in addition to studies focused on the teaching of Portuguese during the pandemic period, such as Schmidt (2022); Da Silva, et al (2022). The methodological approach is based on authors such as Gil (2017), Tozzoni - Reis (2009) and (Freitas; Prodanov, 2013), in addition to Bardin (1977) and Franco (2005) with Content Analysis (CA), a technique used for data analysis and treatment. Methodologically, the work consists of a qualitative field research, for the analysis of the data we have the inductive method, through which we analyze the speeches of basic education teachers, both Elementary and High School, from some municipalities in Alagoas. The data were obtained using structured interviews and questionnaires as collection instruments. The results of the analysis of these data suggest that, although there is a greater adoption of technological tools in the classroom after the pandemic, this use is still extremely limited by the objective conditions of educational institutions.Item Plataforma didática para ensino à distância de microcontroladores e internet das coisas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023) Pereira, Renata Imaculada Soares; Jucá, Sandro César Silveira; Silva, Jonathan Felipe daNenhumItem Resolução de Questões de Química da Olimpíada Nacional de Ciências (ONC) 2018-2022(2025-03-18) Tavares, Maria Célia; Lyra, Ana Carolina Fradique de; Silva, Abraão Arthur Nascimento; Santos, Shayanny JanuárioNenhumItem Valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais sobre plantas medicinais no curso técnico em enfermagem(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-06-28) Santos, Pablo Rodrigo Moura; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8734-4727; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Santos, Jakeline Maria dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3544536932727932The present work aimed to discuss the use of a medicinal plant bed as a teaching space and as a teaching resource for Technical Nursing Courses. Addressing the importance of the topic from a perspective encouraged by the national legislation itself and also by the use of these plants in a popular context, we sought to combine science with culture, categories that are inseparable from human training in Professional and Technological Education. Through the structuring of a teaching site, it was also intended to reflect on notable and important values for our days, such as: sustainability, biodiversity, social inclusion, health care and appreciation of popular knowledge in the academic world. To this end, the study was assumed to be an action research and, through a quantitative-qualitative approach with a collaborative bias, the perception of teachers and students of the Subsequent Technical Course in Nursing at IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes on the importance of medicinal plants was investigated, as well as holding workshops for the construction of a teaching site, so that all efforts conspired to further promote reflection on the subject. The data obtained was processed and subjected to content analysis and, in the end, it was compiled and an electronic booklet was developed, as an educational product, for use in the maintenance of the new educational space, as well as for those who wish to build educational plant beds. medicinal. It was found that the research results achieved their proposed objectives, contributing to the provision of a new formal education space for the Campus, enabling the combination of cultural values with the scientific application of medicinal plants.
