Item A atuação docente sob a perspectiva discente: análise das tendências pedagógicas nos cursos de licenciatura do Ifal - Campus Maceió(2024-12-11) Paz, Andreson Silva da; Ferreira, Danielle da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7027017204663432; Alves, Karina Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2899542504433422This study investigates students' perceptions of teaching performance and the predominant pedagogical trends in undergraduate teaching programs (in-person) at IFAL Campus Maceió. The objective is to identify whether, according to the students' perspective in these programs, the teachers at this campus align with progressive or liberal pedagogical approaches. The research employed a mixed-methods methodology, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Questionnaires were administered to students enrolled in undergraduate programs in Biological Sciences, Physics, Portuguese Language and Literature, Mathematics, and Chemistry at IFAL, specifically targeting those in their third semester or later, selected for their experience with the General Didactics component. The theoretical framework encompasses Liberal Pedagogy and progressive approaches, drawing on contributions from authors such as Libâneo (1986), Saviani (2005), Mizukami (1986), and Aranha (2006). The literature review outlines the characteristics of traditional and renewed approaches, emphasizing the role of schools, methodologies, and the teacher-student relationship. The results indicate the presence of two pedagogical fields, liberal and progressive, among the teachers. They also highlight a predominance of progressive approaches in aspects related to content and teacher-student interaction. However, liberal practices are notably evident in evaluation and teaching methodologies.Item A caneta que balança o berço: o entrecho e a construção de mães na formação docente(2024-08-09) Carvalho, Cleonice Maria Ferreira de; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Araujo, Claudionor Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6155010171957004; Silva, Willian Cassiano da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1949383398907647This research is about my experience as a woman, mother and student in teacher training. The objective is to analyze how mothers' experiences and identities are developed and understood in the academic context. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: to present the evolution of the mother's role in society over time; investigate how the social construction of gender influences social perceptions and expectations regarding the roles of men and women in society and understand how mothers' reality and identity are formed and shaped during the training process. The theoretical basis of this research is based on authors such as Freire (1997), who addresses the view of the teacher as an aunt; Bourdieu (2012), which deals with domination; Prado and Soligo (2005) and Passeggi (2008), which discuss formative memories; and Badinter (1985), which explores the myth of maternal love, as well as other authors who contribute significantly to the discussion. The study consists of descriptive research, with results treated in a qualitative manner, based on the collection of information from secondary sources, including a bibliographic review. As research sources, in order to collect the theoretical framework, books, articles and websites related to the topic were used. By collecting information throughout the research and analyzing this information, it was possible to conclude that, although student mothers demonstrate great resilience and determination, the lack of adequate institutional support significantly hinders their academic journey. The research highlights the importance of more inclusive policies and specific support for these women, in order to promote greater equity in the educational environment.Item A cinematografia e a gamificação como ferramentas inovadoras no ensino de ciências e biologia: desafios no processo de aprendizagem(2025-04-28) Lins, Rebeca Graças; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Brasileiro , Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Varela , Simone; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8249879413860593The present work aims to investigate the use of cinematography and gamification as innovative tools to enhance the teaching of Science and Biology, contributing to the motivation and engagement of students in the learning process. The methodology adopted consists of an exploratory bibliographic review, based on authors such as Freire (1996), Moran (1995; 2000; 2006), Añez (2017), Pereira e Silva (2014), Lourenço et al (2015), Almeida (2019), Seymour Papert (1993), Salen (2008), Huizinga (2004); Prensky (2011) and others cited throughout the text, seeking to understand how these approaches can be applied in a practical and efficient way. The theoretical foundation emphasizes the importance of active methodologies, the integration of technological resources and the Freirean vision of a dialogical and liberating education, which promotes the active participation of students in the process of knowledge construction. As a result of the study, a proposal for a didactic sequence will be developed that integrates elements of cinematography and gamification, with the aim of making learning more dynamic, accessible and meaningful, stimulating interaction between students and scientific concepts. It is concluded that such strategies can enrich pedagogical practices and contribute to the formation of more critical, engaged and reflective students, aligned with the principles of transformative educationItem A compreensão dos estudantes da área da saúde sobre biossegurança: uma análise crítica(2025-06-06) Oliveira, Maria Ilma Ferreira de; Souza, Cesário da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8397674250085897; Coelho, Sheyla Ferreira Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9377424161004165; Santos, Marta Maria Silva Cavalcante dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4740990322148834The understanding of biosafety among health science students was critically analyzed in this study, conducted at the Centro Universitário de Maceió (UNIMA/Afya), with the objective of evaluating the theoretical and practical knowledge of undergraduates and identifying gaps in their academic training. This research was characterized as descriptive and exploratory, with a quantitative approach, involving 242 participants from the Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition programs. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered via Google Forms, addressing topics such as regulatory standards (NR-6, NR-9, NR-32), the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), and procedures in risk situations. The results showed that 98.8% of students had previous contact with laboratory environments and demonstrated satisfactory knowledge of NR-32 and the role of PPE, with 97.5% and 100% correct responses, respectively. However, lower mastery was observed regarding NR-9, which addresses environmental risks, indicating the need for greater emphasis on this content within academic curricula. Participants’ perception of the importance of biosafety was high, particularly in relation to personal and collective safety. It was concluded that, although students possess a solid theoretical foundation in biosafety, there are specific gaps that require improvement, especially regarding the critical application of regulations and the integration between theory and practice. The adoption of active methodologies, such as simulations and case studies, along with continuous training, is recommended to strengthen a culture of biosafety in academic education.Item A contribuição dos jogos para o ensino da matemática: uma análise bibliográfica a respeito do desenvolvimento social e da matemática recreativa(2025-06-30) Souza Júnior, Josenildo dos Santos; Silva, Vanessa Lúcia da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4017185539776065; Santos, Vívia Dayana Gomes dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2740547167333947; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837This study aims to investigate how the use of games can contribute to the teaching and learning of mathematics, with an emphasis on their functions in the social development of students and their application in recreational mathematics. The research was conducted through a Systematic Literature Review, using the following descriptors combined by the Boolean operator AND: “mathematical games”, “online games”, “development”, “probability” and “teaching mathematics”. The search was carried out in the following databases: Journals of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Repositories of the Federal Universities of Alagoas (UFAL), Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), in addition to the Ludus Association. Only complete, free articles, in Portuguese, published between 1990 and 2025 were considered. Thirteen articles were selected, with 2008 presenting the largest number of contributions. Google Scholar stood out as the source with the largest number of relevant articles. All selected works presented methodology based on field studies. The detailed analysis of the content allowed the identification of two main thematic axes: (1) analysis of games and their relationship with social development and (2) recreational mathematics and education. This study highlights the use of games as effective pedagogical resources in teaching mathematics, promoting not only the understanding of content, but also the social, psychological and cognitive development of students. Based on Vygotsky's theory and the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), the work shows how playfulness favors collaborative learning, autonomy and critical thinking. By making the process less anxious and more motivating, games transform mathematics into a concrete, enjoyable and meaningful experience.Item A contribuição dos povos bantos para a formação do português brasileiro(2025-10-06) Silva , Katarina Kleciane da; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Araújo, Claudionor Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6155010171957004; Ávila, Fábio Geraldo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5555689965117482The choice of Portuguese as the official language in Brazil functioned as a colonial strategy of domination, silencing or marginalizing indigenous and African languages. However, the contact among different peoples shaped Brazilian Portuguese as a distinct variety from European Portuguese. This study aims to reflect on the influences of Bantu languages in the formation of Brazilian Portuguese, analyzing vocabulary and expressions incorporated into everyday use and discussing the historical invisibility of these contributions. The research adopts a bibliographic methodology, drawing on authors such as Assis (2001), Mendonça (2012), Bagno (1999), and Bakhtin (2006), as well as glossaries that record Bantu-derived terms. The results indicate that words such as dengo, quitanda, caçula, and gingar reveal the central role of African languages in shaping Brazilian Portuguese. It is concluded that the undervaluation of these influences stems from a historical process of colonization and linguistic prejudice, reinforcing the need for a decolonial approach in mother tongue teaching and in the appreciation of national linguistic identity.Item A dramatização como indutora da construção de habilidades e competências necessárias ao profissional da hotelaria(2019-04-30) Silva, Gertrudes Magna Sales da; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira Brasileiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Limeira , Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646; Oliveira , Elisabete Duarte de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7781886522973384This article was motivated by a carried out research based on the use of dramatization as a methodological strategy in the teaching-learning process on Hotel Technology Superior Course of the Federal Institute of Alagoas – Campus Maceió, from exercises where students are stimulated to experience and improvise situations involving direct hotel customer service. It presents results that were obtained based on students’ perceptions and the observations made during such dramatizations, wich generated the research, whose objective was to understand how classroom dramatization can stimulate the development of skills and competences necessary for the IFAL's Hotel Technology Superior Course students to perform their professional activity. The action research methodology was applied, using reports of students who participated in the dramatic exercises and the observation in the classroom as data collection method. The students surveyed reported that through dramatization they were able to “experience experiences in advance”, “improve learning and fix contents”, “facilitate the relationship between students and between students and teachers”, “overcome shyness”, “stimulate creativity and improvisation”, “contribute to the performance and insertion of students who are in the professional market”, among other benefits. Therefore, based on the students' perceptions and based on the theoretical studies, it can be concluded that classroom dramatization works as an inducer for the construction of skills required by the hotel professional, and it should be done more frequently and in a more systematized way.Item A experiência do estágio supervisionado no ensino de biologia e seus desafios para o campo da docência: o lugar do saber(2025-04-28) Lima, Sara Cristine da Silva; Santos, Reinaldo Batista dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8664524414563817; Brasileiro , Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Varela, Simone; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8249879413860593This work aims to reflect on the internship experience within academic training, with an emphasis on the contributions and challenges encountered during professional development in Biology teaching. The methodology adopted is qualitative, descriptive, and narrative, based on the experience of a student from the Undergraduate Degree Program in Biological Sciences during the period of supervised internship. The reflection on the teaching-learning process is built from the observation of the pedagogical practices adopted by the intern throughout the internship in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) context, relating these practices to the challenges faced and the lessons learned along the way. In this context, the research question guiding the study is: How does the supervised internship experience contribute to the process of professional development in Biology teaching? The work engages with authors who discuss the importance of the internship as a formative experience, including Pimenta (2014), Souza (2007), Tardif (2014), and Paulo Freire (1998), who understand the internship as a research field and an organic space between theory and practice in teaching. They emphasize its role in building teaching identity and promoting critical reflection on pedagogical practices, grounded in the principles of continuous training and professional development. Based on the analysis of the experience, it was possible to observe the development of a more critical teaching posture, increasingly aware of the specificities of Science education within the EJA context. The need to adapt pedagogical practices to the characteristics and demands of the class was highlighted, which allowed the intern to develop a deeper understanding of the realities and challenges of education in this setting. Thus, the internship ceases to be a mere application of theories learned during the course and becomes a space for investigation, learning, and transformation — both for students and for the future teacher. It is therefore emphasized that reflection on pedagogical practice is an essential tool for improving teaching performance, acknowledging the contributions and challenges encountered in the professional training and development process of the Biology teacher.Item A importância da leitura infantojuvenil para a formação do leitor crítico(2024-07-19) Barbosa, Arthur William Cavalcante; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Santos , Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Cavalcanti , Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955This study delved into investigating the importance of children's and young adult literature in shaping critical readers. Furthermore, it helped in the internal and external analysis of the Department, allowing to highlight the deficiencies, qualities and opportunities. The relevance of this study is based on the systematization of concepts about strategic planning, which aim to subsidize and guide decision-making within the scope of public management, especially improving organizational efficiency.Item A influência da família no processo de aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita(2022-12-09) Silva, Herbeth Douglas Gomes; Campelo, Siquele Roseane de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1730383946648149; Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Varela, Simone; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/82498794138660593This Undergraduate Thesis (UT) has as its main object the influence of the family in the reading and writing learning process of students in the final years of Elementary School. Faced with this problem, we outline the following question: What is the importance of the family's influence on the children's reading and writing learning process in the school environment? Based on this research problem, we outlined the general objective of analyzing the family-school-student interaction in the teaching-learning process of reading and writing in the ninth year of Elementary School. As a result of this objective, we developed the following specific objectives: Identify whether families develop strategies to follow the routine of studies related to learning to read and write; and to analyze whether the school develops mechanisms to favor the family's involvement in the teaching and learning of reading and writing comprehension. Therefore, methodologically, qualitative research procedures were adopted based on a case study. As data collection instruments, semi-structured interviews were carried out with a family member and a Portuguese language teacher in the ninth year of elementary school at a public school in Alagoas. Among the main results, it was found that the concern for students to leave the ninth with a good knowledge in the axes of reading and writing exists on both sides. Thus, family and school have developed strategies that, although incipient, can be the starting point for expanding social reading and writing practices from a literacy perspective.Item A intrusa: a mulher na sociedade do século XIX(2024-12-19) Silva, Crislaine Vitória da; Santos, Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Silva , Cleide Calheiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7445136004807968; Maia , Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119The purpose of this final paper is to analyze the work A intrusa, written by Julia Lopes de Almeida in 1908 - a Brazilian writer, chronicler, playwright, abolitionist and one of the first members of the group of writers who planned the creation of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL). The analysis of the book A Intrusa aims to identify the relationship between the work and the representation of women in 19th century literature, and its historical-literary importance for female protagonism. To this end, some of the steps taken in the analysis were the use of bibliographical research through studies to understand the historical context in which women of the 19th century were inserted, permeating matrimonial, professional and educational aspects. It is worth remembering the women writers, who in this historical period had limited access to the act of reading and writing, and who in turn were silenced by the literary canon. At the same time, a brief biography of Julia Lopes de Almeida is presented, which highlights aspects of her professional, cultural and personal life, focusing on her importance for female protagonist in literature. Finally, in The Intruder we will highlight the analysis of the female characters, identifying the characteristics present that signal how women were seen in 19th century society.Item A magia das cores na experimentação: utilizando indicador natural para ensinar conceitos de química.(2025-02-11) Santos, Leôncio Silva; Ferreira, Danielle da Silva; Silva, Merylane Porto da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4940334471477236; Nascimento, Flávia Braga do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585720352113766The objective of this final project is to study the application of a practical experiment that uses red cabbage as a natural pH indicator in chemistry. The term pH is essential in chemistry and is necessary to understand the acidity and alkalinity of solutions. However, students often have difficulty understanding these abstract concepts. This is why education should be more dynamic and interactive. Red cabbage was chosen for this study because it has the ability to change color at different pH levels, making it an easy-to-use and accessible visual resource. The experiment consists of making cabbage extracts and using them to test the pH of various solutions allows students to observe the color changes that reflect changes in pH. The results of the questionnaires and observations administered to the students show that the practical activity arouses curiosity and theoretical understanding of pH. Students reported that they retained more information and were able to apply the ideas to everyday situations. This dissertation emphasizes the importance of incorporating hands-on experiences into chemistry teaching and shows how the use of natural indicators such as red cabbage can improve learning, democratize access to educational resources, and encourage students to experiment. The research findings indicate that this method can be a valuable pedagogical tool that helps create more meaningful and engaging learning.Item A prática dos multiletramentos em minicontos multimodais: uma experiência no estágio supervisionado em educação de jovens e adultos(2023-12-20) Silva, Davi Nascimento Gomes; Agra, Christiane Batinga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0715128190591513; Barbosa, Flávia Karolina Lima Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3662242058929178; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569The advancement of digital technologies around the world is undeniable, which are widely adopted by people in their daily activities, whether in the workplace, at home or even in the school context. Within this perspective, this study proposes the use of the textual genre with digital technologies as a multiliteracy practice. The theoretical basis is based on contributions from research on the multimodal short story in a class of the 4th phase of Education for Young People, Adults and Elderly, at Escola Municipal Tradutor João Sampaio, in collaboration with the Portuguese language teacher. The methodological procedures for collecting and producing data were of a qualitative nature, carried out through an action-research approach, in which students developed multimodal productions using the VideoShow application, exploring themes with social relevance. The results show that the students reflected on local social issues through the creation of multimodal short stories. In addition, regarding the application of the activity with the help of the VideoShow technological tool, the students positively evaluated the use of their mobile devices in the classroom to improve the learning of the Portuguese language. In conclusion, we highlight the need for teachers to rethink the teaching of the Portuguese language, considering digital technologies, as we observe how effective the use of the multimodal mini-short story can be in helping EJAI students to awaken interest and pleasure in reading and stimulus to textual production.Item A Simetria como Recurso de Comunicação Matemática na Educação Básica: Contexto Histórico, abordagens teóricas e práticas pedagógicas(2025-07-10) Brandão, Raquel Vieira; Henriques, Lucas De Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Nunes, Hugo Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259This paper addresses symmetry as a relevant pedagogical resource in the teaching of mathematics, especially in Basic Education. Symmetry is presented not only as a geometric concept but also as a didactic tool that promotes understanding of spatial relationships, proportions, and transformations in the Cartesian plane. The study covers the main types of symmetry — axial, rotational, translational, and origin symmetry — and illustrates each with graphical representations, geometric figures, and real-world contexts, such as art, nature, and architectural patterns. It also discusses practical classroom activities involving dance, body movement, and group dialogue as strategies to explore symmetry in an interactive and meaningful way. Additionally, the paper analyzes ENEM exam questions that address symmetry, emphasizing its relevance in visual literacy and problem solving. Ultimately, the work highlights symmetry as a bridge between mathematics, art, and cultural expression, fostering integrated and contextualized learning.Item Uma abordagem da Cicloide: "a Helena da geometria"(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-01-25) Silva, Jefferson Marinho da; Vasconcelos, Cleverton da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8600809859832837; Oliveira, Elinelson Gomes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4985621981248771; Silva, Tiago Marinho da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3964717265579881This work presents a brief historical research on the cycloid, in addition to an intuitive construction on the curve, working on the definition and parameterization. This research discusses pedagogical practices that link the contents to the playful context of presenting the cycloid and not just algebraic as in calculation books. Taking into account the context of Mathematics, this proposal presents as a problem the lack of interest in the study of the curve, considering that its use was left aside by mathematicians. In the context of these problems, the proposal intends to awaken the relevance of the cycloid, answering the following questions: how to motivate the understanding of the cycloid? How to show practicality through your application? The main objective of the proposal is to present in a more practical way the understanding of the cycloid. This work is based on studies by Boyer (2012), Bustillo and Sassine (2011) and Stewart (2013). With the results, it was possible to observe that although we have other ways to calculate the cycloid, the best way would be with the parametric equations, as they bring us a simpler way of calculating the curve. The results also point to the practicality of building in Geogebra.Item A acessibilidade nos livros didáticos: o ensino de ligações químicas para surdos(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-12-20) Santos, Alan Douglas da Silva; Pinto, Charridy Max Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4139562888411167; Vitorino, Anderson Francisco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0431749235312279; Silva, Leonardo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3401495568705461The present work presents the results of an inspection that aims to identify whether the textbooks approved by the National Book and Didactic Material Program for the year 2021 (PLND), and which are used in regular high schools, are successful in addressing the subject of links chemistry, and if they have in their structure pedagogical proposals and visual didactic resources that enable effective and meaningful learning for deaf students who use the book in the classroom. We sought to identify whether the conceptual development of the theme, the presentation, and the graphic proposal of the textbook contribute to making the book more accessible to the deaf community. Based on the results obtained, possible alternatives were speculated with the potential to make the approach to the subject of chemical bonds in textbooks more adapted to the teaching and learning needs of deaf students who are included in regular schools.Item A alquimia poética Lenineana: traços de uma poesia devoradora(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-03-14) Silva, Erick Robert Ferreira da; Santos, Fábio José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7569516305566259; Malta, Carla Carolina da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7728611783048332; Silva, Eronilma Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1899340692310050The literary studies that analyze pieces from a cultural point of view have been frequent in contemporary times, which has contributed to thinking about the scope of literary art inserting it in its context of production, considering it in its relation with the exteriority and fostering discussions surrounding relevant topics to think the contemporaneity. This essay is inserted in the scope of the Literature Theory (literature and culture) and focuses on the poetic text of Lenine's song. Based on the reading/listening of twelve songs from his work (which compose the research Corpus Carminum), issues such as the encounter with the aesthetic object are discussed; swallowing and anthropo/autophagy in Lenine's songbook; and how these notions are articulated from a poetic alchemy of the composer. The reading/listening to Lenine's song, object of this research, revealed a lyrical universe that emerges from his poetic text and that is forged from the anthropo and autophagy movements, as a synthesis of creative operations from which results a modern, brazilian, local and global poetry, with multiple, mixed, mestizo colorations. The discussion points towards a poetry of devouring, in which elements of autophagy and anthropophagy, as categories of production and creation, focus directly on Lenine's songbook inside the corpus that has been analyzed. As for the theoretical foundation, I resorted to the contributions of authors such as Andrade, Bosi, Paz, Pinheiro, Figueiredo and Mello. Thus, from the analysis of the songs, I hope to contribute to the expansion of the poet's critical fortune.Item Análise comparativa da viabilidade econômica entre a construção de uma piscina enterrada em concreto armado e alvenaria estrutural: estudo de caso no bairro do Ouro Preto, Maceió - AL(2025-11-07) Machado, Elio Cardozo; Queiros, Luciano Oliveira Alves de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7124874114657560; Costa, Esdras Jonathan Honorato; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6045970740812728; Santos Filho, Manoel Martons dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8060697649276101Swimming pools are widely desired construction elements, whether for leisure, health, or real estate appreciation. However, choosing the most suitable construction system requires a thorough analysis of the available options, considering both structural and economic aspects. The study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of constructing buried swimming pools, comparing the construction methods of reinforced concrete and structural masonry, with the purpose of providing information to assist in the decision-making process regarding the construction model to be adopted. Secondary objectives address essential aspects of the study, such as the effects of actions acting on the structure, the applied loads, as well as the geotechnical characteristics of the soil. The study was developed through the creation of an architectural and structural project based on a case study, using CypeCAD software for structural modeling and dimensioning. The calculations followed the current technical standards presented in the bibliographic references, and the direct costs of the construction systems were analyzed through spreadsheets with unit price compositions, considering materials, labor, and equipment. The results indicate that the swimming pool in structural masonry presented a lower final cost compared to the reinforced concrete system, proving to be a more economically viable solution. This finding reinforces the importance of careful selection of the construction method, combining structural safety and economic efficiency. Future perspectives include the consideration of indirect costs and maintenance throughout the structure’s lifespan. The social relevance of the study lies in its contribution to the economic accessibility of swimming pool construction, allowing more people and businesses to opt for financially viable solutions without compromising the structural safety of buildings.Item Análise comparativa entre métodos de contenção da erosão costeira adotados nas praias de Pajuçara, Ponta Verde e Jatiúca(2025-11-27) Cavalcanti , Andréa Apolinário Mendes; Interaminense, Juliana Rangel de Aguiar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3869787182468885; Calazans, Fábio Maurício do Bomfim; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3529013346870900; Matias, Dyogo Wlisses Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2661675221726320The Brazilian coastal zone is a transitional ecosystem of great socio-environmental importance, being considered by no. 5.300/04 Decree and 255 Article of the Federal Constitution (CF/88) as a national heritage. This region is home for 24.06% of the Brazilian population living in coastal municipalities, with several attractions promoting tourism and housing activities. However, its disorderly occupation has caused environmental degradation, leading to the native vegetation removal, such as restinga vegetation, and the construction advance. The degradation consequences contributes directly to the coastal erosion phenomenon, characterized by the continuous sediments loss and the coastline retreat. To contain these processes, restraint methods are continuously adopted, but they are built without adequate prior study and monitoring proposals. Given the above, this Final Course Project (FCP) was based on a comparative analysis of the coastal erosion containment methods adopted in Pajuçara, Ponta Verde and Jatiúca urban beaches of Maceió, to verify their effectiveness and propose improvements. The methodology involved a literature systematic review and field surveys on beaches, with direct structures observation and coastline morphological assessment. As a result, it was realized that there is a need to implement coastal restraint methods that not only protect urban infrastructure, but also take into account the natural dynamics of beaches and their ecosystems.
