Item 3D School: Desenvolvendo estratégias Maker para estudantes do ensino técnico integrado do curso eletrotécnica Campus Pesqueira – IFPE(INSTITUTO FEDRAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-04-09) Alcantara, Eurlles Canuto de; Moraes, Eduardo Cardoso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3464358663007696; Pontes, Edel Alexandre Silva; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9782-8458; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3143006785845985; Moraes Junior, Edison Camilo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8234380347792761; Santos, Nádson Araújo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6038242905803170This dissertation investigates the introduction of Maker Culture in the context of integrated technical education in electrotechnics, aiming to transdisciplinarily integrate curricular content and explore the potential of emerging technologies such as 3D printing. The research stems from the observed need to connect the theoretical knowledge studied by students with practical and contemporary applications as a way to increase engagement and promote more meaningful learning. The study is justified by the researcher’s experience at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), Pesqueira campus, where a possible gap was identified in students’ direct contact with emerging technologies like 3D printing, despite the relevance of these tools to the field of electrotechnics. Additionally, the research addresses the issue of knowledge fragmentation, exploring the concepts of multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and primarily transdisciplinarity, advocating the latter as an approach capable of integrating different fields of knowledge in the learning process. The central problem of this dissertation lies in how to incorporate Maker Culture transdisciplinarily into the integrated technical electrotechnics course at IFPE, Pesqueira campus. The general objective is to identify ways to implement Maker Culture from this perspective, using emerging technologies. The specific objectives include allowing students to explore creativity and develop soft skills through teamwork, creating 3D-printed objects to assemble a scaled-down micro wind turbine, and finally, developing a didactic sequence that systematizes the process. It is believed that the Maker Culture approach, by stimulating experimentation and the practical application of knowledge, can promote meaningful learning, bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications, and preparing students for the technological challenges of the 21st century. The dissertation also highlights the importance of meaningful learning, based on Ausubel’s theory, as a key element in transforming the educational process. In summary, this research seeks to contribute to the modernization of technical education by proposing an innovative pedagogical approach that values creativity, collaboration, and the practical application of knowledge through the integration of Maker Culture and transdisciplinarity into the electrotechnics course at IFPE Pesqueira. The development of the didactic sequence aims to materialize this proposal, serving as a resource for future implementations and studies in the field. Item As ferramentas virtuais não exclusivas à aprendizagem e suas implicações nos saberes e na inter-relação professor-aluno : uma investigação a partir da ótica docente no IFAL Campus Maragogi(UNIVERSIDADE ESTÁCIO DE SÁ - RIO DE JANEIRO , 2026-02-27) Ferreira, Jairo Santos; Saldanha, Luís Cláudio Dallier; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3822-1477; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6177663314282321; Pedrosa, Stella Maria Peixoto de Azevedo; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8844-2043; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6986927279922334; Gomes, Nataniel dos Santos; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3911-1552; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6180920530799182This qualitative research, conducted as a case study, sought to investigate the use of Virtual Tools Not Exclusive to Learning (VTNExL) as a didactic-pedagogical strategy by professors at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), Maragogi campus, from the perspective of the educators themselves. To this end, a survey was conducted on the use of VTNExL for didactic mediation through the implementation of teaching and research activities/projects aimed at the development and learning of various subjects offered at IFAL Campus Maragogi. The study identified the professors' degree of familiarity with VTNExL, the knowledge acquired and shared through its use, and the influence of these tools on the teacher-student relationship, in order to detect which VTNExL are most frequently used and to understand their scope and effectiveness for the intended purposes. This research project is justified by its academic contribution regarding the development of the didactic-pedagogical application of different technological resources for teaching and learning, and as an influential means of connection between teachers and students. The research involved the application of semi-structured questionnaires, provided via Google Forms and composed of both closed and open-ended questions, to collect information from the participating subjects (professors from the Maragogi campus). Additionally, non-directive interviews were conducted to gather more elucidative information from their free discourse while minimizing risks of embarrassment or discomfort to the research subjects. Through this research, a consolidation of the use of platforms such as YouTube, WhatsApp, and Artificial Intelligence was identified, which have been re-signified by professors as teaching tools. The study concludes that the teacher is the essential "agent" in the transformation of an ItemNet into a VTNExL, acting as a critical mediator who balances generational proximity with the ethical and pedagogical boundaries of technology. It was also found that while VTNExLs enhance student autonomy and engagement, their implementation requires vigilance against the limiting structures of digital tools and algorithms.Item Competência em Informação na educação profissional e tecnológica: uma abordagem no Curso Técnico de nível médio integrado em Química(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 0015-08-25) Oliveira, Maria Luzia Alexandre de; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Carneiro, Tereza Kelly Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3305071338937583; Santos, Maria do Socorro Ferreira dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1039898435623128This research aims to problematize and analyze issues related to Information Literacy in the context of Vocational and Technological Education, with participants consisting of third-year students of the Integrated Technical Course in Chemistry at the Federal Institute of Alagoas - Penedo Campus. The methodology is qualitative action research, developed in four stages: (1) Diagnostic research and data analysis; (2) Development of the Educational Product (EP); (3) Implementation of the EP and results obtained; (4) Adjustments and evaluation of the EP. The data analysis technique used was thematic content analysis for qualitative data and basic statistics for quantitative data. The research highlighted the need to work with Integrated High School students on concepts related to Information Literacy, considering their preference for accessing online information sources. Therefore, an Educational Product (EP) in course format was developed to promote and improve these students' information literacy skills, as well as to develop greater critical thinking and reflection regarding the process of searching, retrieving, and using information on the internet. The results of the Educational Product evaluation were positive, considering that the content related to Information Literacy contributed to the students' development. We concluded that Information Literacy is an important aspect to work with Integrated High School students, as it enables lifelong learning. We hope that other educators (librarians and teachers) will also work on this topic in other Professional and Technological Education (EPT) settings.Item Decolonialidades e ensino de espanhol: uma pesquisa-ação colaborativa na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2023) Santos, Gustavo Correia dos ; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Meniconi, Flávia Colen; Lima, Jeylla Salomé Barbosa dos SantosThis research, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal), has as its main objective to identify how the practices of Spanish language teachers at Ifal take place - whether they are guided by a colonial perspective, by a decolonial or even a mixed perspective – in addition to understanding the fundamentals of this process. In order to do so, we analyzed how issues related to Latin American languages, cultures and identities are presented in a natural and real context: the classroom (MATOS, 2018, 2019, 2020). The investigative study is qualitative and its theoretical framework is anchored in studies concerning collaborative action research (PIMENTA, 2007; IBIAPINA, 2008) and the different action research modalities (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011), whose methodological instruments are: i) application of questionnaires, ii) conducting interviews, iii) production of autobiographical narratives. The research results aim to contribute to an omnilateral (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2009; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) and decolonial (FREIRE, 1987; CANDAU, 2016; MIGNOLO, 2008; QUIJANO, 2000) training ; CASTRO-GÓMEZ and GROSFOGUEL, 2007; MALDONADO-TORRES, 2007; WALSH, 2009) of Spanish Language teachers based on the association between the dimensions of work, science and culture in the training process from the Educational Product (PE) that had as objective the offer of a Colloquium, in which the participation of Spanish Language teachers at Ifal took place on a voluntary basis. The Event subsidized the production of a Portfolio, containing all the steps taken for its elaboration, which is part of the NP elaboration process. As a result, we found that the teaching practice of the Spanish Language curricular component occurs in a mixed way, that is, sometimes colonially and sometimes decolonially. This is due, in large part, to the initial training of the teachers involved in this investigative process. In addition, with regard to the concepts of language, culture and Latin American identities, there is a consensus among teachers in stating that language and culture are inseparable, so that it is not possible to teach a language without passing through the culture of the people who speaks that language, since both, according to the teachers, are the mark of a people. In short, despite this teaching practice, at times, being colonial, which justifies the educational product of this dissertation, it should be noted that the investigated public recognizes that from a decolonial education it is possible to transform the pattern of power relations, knowing and being.Item Educação alimentar e nutricional no contexto da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT)(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-07-30) Maciel Filho, Valdenor Carvalho; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares de; Meirelles , Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Lima, André Sueldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Montaldo, Yamina Coentro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6806232828008687This dissertation aims to investigate the potential of Food and Nutrition Education (FNE) within the scope of Professional and Technological Education (PTE), through the development and implementation of a playful Educational Product (EP). The proposal arises from the need to promote innovative pedagogical practices that integrate curricular content with relevant themes for the holistic development of students. The research, which follows a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory nature, utilized the action research method and was conducted with first- year students of the Integrated High School at IFAL – Satuba Campus. As an educational intervention, the card game "Nu-tri-oh – The Healthy Eating Game" was developed, aiming to foster youth protagonism, critical reflection, and autonomy in food choices. The results showed that the game significantly contributed to the learning of content related to healthy eating, expanding students' knowledge about food groups, nutrients, and the impacts of eating habits on health. There was also a high level of engagement among the participants, as well as a willingness to change eating behavior. It is concluded that the use of playful resources in the school context can be an effective strategy to enhance Health Education (EAN) and strengthen the connection between theory and practice, promoting the formation of conscious, critical, and socially committed individuals regarding their health and well-being.Item Educação ambiental no contexto profissional e tecnológico: uma proposta de plano de gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos para o IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2020-05-22) Santos, José Emiliano; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Santos, Lesso Benedito dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9848661202276911; Rodrigues, Adriana de Carvalho Figueiredo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3960211837700849This research intended to investigate the logistics of solid waste at IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes – seeking to verify how the process of generation, collection, packaging, transport and the final destination of such waste occurs in accordance with current legislation. The objective was to investigate the legislation on solid waste management in the context of Professional and Technological Education for the proposal of a Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus and elaboration of an environmental booklet. The study was characterized in a qualitative and quantitative approach - focusing on the interpretation, meaning and sense of environmental education - analyzing the current situation of the residues generated on the Campus - through their gravimetric composition; as well, it investigated the perception of teachers, administrative technicians, students and outsourced workers in relation to the problem of solid waste, more specifically, as action research - in which the subject-researcher participates directly in the reflections around work. The results showed that the vast majority of students and contractors consider society as the main responsible for the conservation of the environment and, for the most part, feel responsible for the correct disposal of waste. However, only a small minority will segregate organic and inorganic waste before disposal and most do not know how long the waste takes will decompose in the environment. However, the concern of students, contractors, teachers and administrative technicians about the environmental problems arising solid waste is clear. The hypotheses raised in the study after being confronted, in an interpretive way, with the knowledge produced, were confirmed. Finally, the Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus was proposed, with indicators for evaluation and monitoring, and mains legislations referring to solid waste; as well as an Educational Product, in the form of a booklet, dealing with issues related to solid waste - as support material, for the development of environmental education actions on Campus. The Educational Product developed in the research was applied to students and proved to be relevant for the development of environmental actions. It was also positively evaluated by teachers and students of the Logistics Course as a complementary tool in the teaching- learning process.Item Estratégias de aprendizagem no ensino remoto emergencial do Instituto Federal de Alagoas(CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO DE MACEIÓ – UNIMA | Afya, 2025-09-23) Melo, Helisabety Barros Mendes de; Mendonça, Adriana de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0381713043828464; Mendes Junior, Walcler de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6938727316741941; Pereira, Jesana Batista; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2329848572181989; Junkes, Janaína Accordi; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7777461824456062; Santos, Pedro Henrique Simonard; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0615985683640773Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) during the COVID-19 pandemic posed significant challenges for education. Students, for instance, had to adapt to the sudden transition to an online environment, and many struggled to maintain focus and manage their studies independently, making it necessary to adopt Learning Strategies. In this context, this research investigates the extent to which students enrolled in technical programs at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) - Maceió Campus - made use of any type of Learning Strategy during ERT, aiming to understand how they coped with the demands of this new teaching format. With a qualitative-quantitative approach, a case study methodology was adopted, articulating two main procedures: Content Analysis of the students’ reports submitted as part of formative assessments during ERT, based on Bardin (2016), and the application of the Learning Strategies Assessment Scale for Vocational Education Students (EAVAP-EP) developed by Pereira; Santos; Ferraz (2020). The qualitative analysis of the students' narratives highlighted issues related to infrastructure and technology, teaching methodology, learning difficulties, and mental health—factors that compromised the appropriate use of these strategies. Students’ perceptions also revealed weaknesses in the institutional planning of ERT and gaps in the provision of technological, pedagogical, and psychological support. The EAVAP-EP, a validated instrument composed of 33 items distributed across three dimensions (Cognitive Strategies, Metacognitive Strategies, and Absence of Dysfunctional Metacognitive Strategies), was completed by 189 students. Statistical analysis was performed using R software (version 4.3.3), employing descriptive techniques. Quantitative data revealed satisfactory use of Metacognitive Strategies and, to a lesser extent, Cognitive Strategies. However, some students exhibited behaviors detrimental to learning (Absence of Dysfunctional Metacognitive Strategies). The results reinforce the urgent need, in light of the challenges faced, to implement pedagogical policies that systematically develop Learning Strategies, promote student autonomy, and foster better conditions for coping with adverse educational contexts.Item Fala, Ifal! “a sua webradio em educação profissional”(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALGOAS -ifal, 2020-07-22) Silva, Gabriela Luzia Rodrigues; Gaia, Rossana Viana; orcid logo https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7592-1881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693; Gaia , Rossana Viana; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7592-1881; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4018992389689693; Santos, Magnólia Rejane Andrade dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3403467342603520; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317Educommunication is a complex field of studies in the interface of multidisciplinary areas that is intended to promote planning and implementation of communication processes in the school environment with further democratization and smaller hierarchy. The present study sought to examine the production of the professional masters degrees of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, PROFEPT, Professional Masters in Professional and Technological Education and PPGTEC, Masters in Environmental Technologies. It was observed that these postgraduate programs have in common the challenge of developing products that culminate in objective responses to the problems posed in the themes of education and the environment, respectively. The theoretical interlocutions were carried out based on authors who deal with professional and technological education, such as (Barbier, 2007), (Bomfim, 2018), (Ciavatta, 2014), (Frigotto, Ciavatta, Ramos, 2012), (Freire, 1999), (Ibiapina, 2008), (Pimenta, 2007), (Pio, 2012), (Quevedo, 2018), (Tardif, 2019), whose methodology is based on studies by (Martins, 2004), (Backes, 2011), (Silva, 2013). In methodological terms, the study was investigative, qualitative, of the action research type, whose methodological instruments for data collection included the application of a questionnaire and bibliographic research. The qualitative method used consisted of research, reading of the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education, analysis of the standards, plans, regulations, annex of the regulation, institutional development plan, rules, resolutions of the aforementioned postgraduate programs; assessment of the training of the teaching staff and the production of professional master's degrees; investigation of the official website and repository of dissertations and products developed. The result of the research demonstrated the relevance of educational products for education and the importance of technical-technological products for science. Based on the results, an educational product was prepared in the format of a Catalog of Educational and Technological Products of the Professional Master's Degrees of IFAL, a proposal that observed the productions of the two stricto sensu postgraduate programs of IFAL - PROFEPT and PPGTEC. The (PE) prepared may contribute to the recognition of IFAL as a research institution with the consequent positive impact. Still in relation to the results of this investigation, it is possible to historicize the trajectory of IFAL's stricto sensu postgraduate programs since their implementation and systematize the products available in their repositories in order to measure the importance of these programs to promote the development and transfer of technologies at the state level. From the collection and interpretation, it was possible to establish some considerations about the professional master's degrees, as well as the educational and technological products. The number of educational products (58) between (2020-2023) of PROFEPT. The number of products (86) between (2019-2023) of PPGTEC. Therefore, it is possible to envision the possibility of this work and the (PE) Catalog of Educational and Technological Products of IFAL's Professional Master's Degrees contributing to the promotion of science, technology, culture and work in the Federal Education Network, as well as to society.
