Item A acessibilidade nos livros didáticos: o ensino de ligações químicas para surdos(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-12-20) Santos, Alan Douglas da Silva; Pinto, Charridy Max Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4139562888411167; Vitorino, Anderson Francisco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0431749235312279; Silva, Leonardo Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3401495568705461The present work presents the results of an inspection that aims to identify whether the textbooks approved by the National Book and Didactic Material Program for the year 2021 (PLND), and which are used in regular high schools, are successful in addressing the subject of links chemistry, and if they have in their structure pedagogical proposals and visual didactic resources that enable effective and meaningful learning for deaf students who use the book in the classroom. We sought to identify whether the conceptual development of the theme, the presentation, and the graphic proposal of the textbook contribute to making the book more accessible to the deaf community. Based on the results obtained, possible alternatives were speculated with the potential to make the approach to the subject of chemical bonds in textbooks more adapted to the teaching and learning needs of deaf students who are included in regular schools.Item Aprendizagem no ensino remoto a partir do olhar de discentes em cursos de licenciaturas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-08-09) Silva, Ingrid Cordeiro da; Campêlo, Siquele Roseane de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1730383946648149; Alves, Karina Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2899542504433422; Ferreira, Danielle da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7027017204663432In our work, we will reflect on how emergency remote teaching has contributed to the training of undergraduate students at the Maceió - IFAL campus. In this way, our general objective was to reflect on the teaching-learning process during the pandemic period in IFAL's degree courses. As specific objectives, we seek to know the institutional regulations that guided teaching and learning practices in emergency remote teaching at IFAL, as well as analyzing the differences between remote teaching and face-to-face teaching from the perspective of students. As a methodological proposal, semi- structured interviews were carried out with 04 undergraduate students from the Maceió - AL campus. Based on the analyzed data, aspects such as the construction of digital skills and abilities, the flexibility of times and spaces for learning and the multiplicity of communication tools between teacher trainers and students in the Degrees were identified as positive aspects of the period. On the other hand, difficulties regarding the interaction between professors and graduates were indicated as challenging aspects in remote teaching.Item O ensino-aprendizagem de química por um aluno surdo sob a ótica de uma monitora de química(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-07-29) Freire, Pollyanne Christine Rodrigues; Pinto, Charridy Max Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4139562888411167; Nascimento, Flavia Braga do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585720352113766; Oliveira, Danielly Caldas de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6901069998449330The present study is a case report with the objective of analyzing the possible causes and difficulties inherent in the teaching-learning process of chemistry for deaf students, based on the experience lived as a volunteer chemistry monitor for high school students at the Center for Assistance to People with Specific Educational Needs - NAPNE of the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL, Maceió campus, between 2019 and 2022. In the history of the education of the deaf, numerous reports show the obstacles faced by them over several years to gain access to education, where teaching methods aimed at them were created by listeners who do not speak the same language as the deaf subject, which influenced in current teaching methods. That said, during the monitoring experience, it was possible to observe and experience what the reality of inclusive education is like and in this journey, several causes were witnessed that lead to the learning difficulties of this deaf student in their learning of chemical science through the methodologies applied by the teachers. This theme proved to be of great relevance because it takes into account a reflection on the quality of the current chemistry teaching offered to deaf students and with it we intend to disturb the chemistry professors about elaborating inclusive practices that allow the involvement of these subjects in their classes, thus establishing a good inclusion, favoring them to have a quality education that leads them to the construction of scientific knowledge.Item Estudo in vitro da atividade e eficácia fotoprotetora de extratos de camapu (Physalis angulata L.)(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-01) Nascimento, Keliane Francielle dos Santos; Ferreira Júnior, Jésu Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5859354241648167; Queiroz, Stella Freitas de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5763307109586754; Souza, Davdson Luiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3552801632432486Photoprotection aims to reduce skin exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun, helping to combat sunburn, premature aging, and even skin cancer. Sunscreens are substances capable of absorbing, reflecting or refracting UV and thus protecting the skin. The effectiveness of these products is measured through the sun protection factor (SPF), which indicates how much the photoprotective formulation is capable of protecting an individual from this radiation. Currently, the search and use of plant bioactives to protect the skin from the adverse effects of solar radiation has increased significantly, due to the diversity of organic compounds produced by plants, which have the capacity to stabilize free radicals, especially phenolic compounds, which have chromophores in its structure, which promote the absorption of radiation at wavelengths compatible with UV rays, proving suitable for the composition of solar filters, enhancing skin protection. Physalis angulata L. (camapu) belongs to the Solanaceae family and occurs mainly in the North and Northeast regions of Brazil, where it is used in folk medicine as an anti-inflammatory and in the treatment of skin problems. The present work aimed to verify the photoprotective potential of extracts from parts of the camapu plant, and to analyze the FPS behavior of a commercial sunscreen solution “FPS 30” when incorporated with these active ingredients, through in vitro analysis, of the spectrophotometric method. The results obtained demonstrated photoprotective activity of camapu flower and leaf extracts, obtaining FPS values equal to 21.38 and 7.15, respectively, at a concentration of 300 ppm, and allowed us to visualize the effectiveness of the leaf extract as a chemical sunscreen. when it comes to a photoprotective formulation. Therefore, it was concluded that the Physalis Angulata L. leaf extract associated with the photoprotective formulation enhanced the activity of the formulation, increasing its FPS by up to 40.97%, which suggests its indication for use in sunscreens, in addition to reduce production costs, knowing that natural raw materials tend to be cheaper.Item Evasão no Curso de Licenciatura em Química no Ifal - Campus Maceió: análise de dados dos alunos evadidos de 2010 a 2022(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-08) Silva, Raquel Venâncio da; Ferreira Júnior, Jésu Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5859354241648167; Limeira, Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646; Matos, Karine Garcia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1758509725841433This work proposes to carry out an analysis of dropout data in the Chemistry Degree course at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL), from 2010 to 2022. The approach adopted is exploratory, descriptive and quantitative, based on research conducted to investigate the causes and consequences of dropout among students of this course. The data used for this analysis will be collected from the Nilo Peçanha platform and documents provided by the Academic Records Coordination (CRA), extracted from the Integrated Academic Activity Management System (SIGAA). The research is based on understanding why the number of graduates is lower than that of entrants and identifying factors that contributed to this dropout. Furthermore, it aims at a systematic review of literature related to dropout in higher education and undergraduate education. And by combining the results of this review with specific data from IFAL, we seek to carry out a comprehensive diagnosis of the factors that influence dropout rates in the Chemistry Degree course. The joint analysis of the causes and consequences of evasion will provide a basis for developing improvement strategies.Item Gamificação e storytelling no ensino de físico-química: o enigma do paciente Oliver(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-06-14) Silva, Mirely Vitória Farias da; Nascimento, Flavia Braga do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585720352113766; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Nogueira, Fred Augusto Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9784216306395155The present study is the result of an investigation into the use of the gamification and storytelling methodological approach in the teaching of pH, chemical solutions and acids and bases carried out with 14 students of the second year of integrated high school and technical course in chemistry at the Federal Institute from Alagoas in the city of Maceió. Recognizing that this proposed methodological intervention could contribute to the process of teaching and learning chemistry, our objective: was to analyze the result of using the game linked to the storytelling of patient Oliver's riddle based on gamification and storytelling methodologies in the teaching of physical-chemical education. To conduct the investigation, a mixed approach was adopted, defining the research design as sequential, the most appropriate type of research for our intervention. Data was collected through a test, followed by observation of students interacting with the educational game and the application of a questionnaire. It is argued that adherence to the gamification and storytelling methodological proposal contributed to reinforce the learning concepts related to pH, chemical solutions, acids and bases in a more active way and allowed experiencing other approaches to these contents in addition traditional practices.Item Ser professor temporário no Estado de Alagoas: tendências à flexibilização e precarização do trabalho docente(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-03-14) Silva, Jonathan Augusto da; Soeira, Elaine dos Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2699971179132910; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Limeira, Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646The present study consists of documental research that turns to the analysis of data from the School Census regarding the distribution of teachers — organized by type of contract — in the Alagoas state education system and the analysis of the public notices of simplified selection processes (PSS) carried out to hire temporary teachers in the period between 2011 and 2020. The problem that arises is to understand what is the predominant type of employment contract signed with the Alagoas state public administration, seeking to reveal the trends in the hiring models of the aforementioned system and how these trends are articulated to the general tendency of the capitalist accumulation process under the aegis of productive restructuring, which in the public service presents itself as the face of the paradigm of the “New Public Management”. From the path taken, five PSS notices were found, which were submitted to a process of analysis and categorization. Statistical data from the School Census were systematized and analyzed. With this, it was observed that there is a tendency in the Alagoas state education system to hire teachers predominantly through temporary contracts. It was even noted that since 2015, the Alagoas state system has been working with more than half of its faculty on a temporary employment relationship basis. This practice constitutes a deviation from the Federal Constitution, it contradicts the National Education Plan and state legislation, but this is not what will be focused on. Here, we sought to locate this practice in the context of the general trend of flexibilization and precariousness of labor relations in the public sector. With this, it was noticed that the public administration of Alagoas does not escape the flexibilization tendency of work imposed by the new stage of the capitalist accumulation process: flexible accumulation.Item O Youtube e o ensino de Química: uma análise dos canais educativos como ferramenta de apoio ao docente(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-11-07) Oliveira, Julliany Correia de; Nascimento, Flavia Braga do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3585720352113766; Limeira, Ana Cristina Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8492241199102646; Ferreira Júnior, Jésu Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5859354241648167This study was motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic scenario, which boosted the search for effective educational alternatives. Given this context, we wondered whether YouTube channels could be used as a support tool for teachers in chemistry teaching, complementing face-to-face teaching and enabling the review and deepening of content, given that this platform is easy to access and widely used. by the current generation. Our general objective was to analyze whether video lessons from YouTube chemistry channels are relevant for teaching and whether these channels can be used by teachers as an aid in classes. Furthermore, our specific objectives were: to identify the main channels, evaluate the quality of the content and identify the limitations of this resource. This is a quantitative bibliographic research, in which the methodology adopted consists of five distinct stages. First, the number of channels was defined, followed by the collection of data considered permanent and data that is constantly updated on the platform. Finally, we describe the results and analyze the data obtained during the research. It was found that in fact, YouTube can be a valuable tool to support teachers in teaching chemistry. This platform represents an effective bridge between the educator and the student, presenting itself as an enriching resource, capable of complementing traditional content and stimulating students' interest in the subject. In this way, this research can also serve as inspiration for future projects, and to improve the use of this tool to support chemistry teaching, which is rich in possibilities and very promising for contemporary education.
