Item Campi Centenário do IFAL como lugares de memória e de identidade: documentário como instrumento de preservação Institucional(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-07-28) Santos, Gerônimo Vicente dos; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de AlmeidaThe research had as object of study the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) of Maceió and Satuba, both with more than 100 years of existence. This secular period gave rise to the practice of forgetting a past built and intertwined by different generations of civil servants, students and members of the external community. The general objective of the research was to produce, as educational material, a documentary about the centenary campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas as places of memory and identity. Among the specific objectives were focused, the intention to awaken in public servants, students and in other publics of interests, memories and institutional belonging feeling and to propose suggestions of services of stimulus to the memory and the institutional preservation that can be added to Ifal's documentary and material safeguard structure. The work presents, as an educational product, a 35-minute documentary, whose content focuses on the history of professional and technological education that is part of the federal public network in Alagoas, with testimonials from social actors involved in the reminiscences of the Ifal teaching units in Maceio and Satuba. With the research, results were sought about the preservation and rescue of elements that configure the institutional memory of the pioneering campuses of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) in the State. The investigative study, of the collaborative action research type, presented a qualitative approach, whose methodological instruments included in the data collection, observation, theoretical references, oral interview, application of questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and conversation circles, activities that were applied together to the academic community, graduates and former public servants. The diagnostic research had the participation of 63 interviewees, 43 of whom answered through digital questionnaires and 20 through oral interviews. As a result, there was a lack of definition about the storage of institutional memory on the Maceió and Satuba campuses. The absence of institutional preservation was verified as strategic objectives of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of Ifal and there was relaxation in terms of organization and control of safeguarding institutional memory in both administrations of the researched teaching units.Item Conselho escolar na rede de educação profissional e tecnológica: orientação à participação engajada no conselho de campus(2021) Araújo , Rosiene Silva de; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Meirelles , Nelson Vieira da Silva; Ferreira, Ruth Vasconcelos Lopes; Castilho, Fabio Francisco de AlmeidaThe perspective of an integral education, defended by the Brazilian Constitution of 1988, fits together with constitutional determination for the implantation of democratic management as educational principle. Also called participative management, this kind of management consists of development of everyone engaged direct or indirectly in educational process, aiming the establishment of goals, problems solutions, decision makings and proposition of action plans (LÜCK, 2011). The Law of Guidelines and Basis of Education of 1996, presents three topics in defense of this management model: a) the school Council or parents and professors‟ associations, b) the curriculum pedagogic project and c) the election of school director (NÓBREGA et al., 2011). In the present work, we have focused at scholar Council, a collegiate body representative of entire community. The research goal was inquiring how the students glimpse the way by how de institution is managed, as well as, understand how was the participation of those students at the process of implementation of Campus Council at the analyzed school and if there was their intention at participate of decision-making process. Therefore, the researchers applied questionnaires and interviews with students, representants of the union movement and the student union who acts at the institution and consulted documents about the subject. Concomitantly, a booklet was elaborated, in scoping to counsel the community, mainly the students, about the school Council importance, aiming to stimulate an engaged participation at the Council. As a result, it could be verified a low students‟ knowledge about the Council and the need of their approximation to the school management, once the responders recognize themselves as excluded from de decision-making process. In relation to the booklet, is expected that it could be a tool for the students‟ engaged participation at the Campus Council and be able to understand the need to exercise their citizenship in an active way, by acting and inspecting the offered service by the school institution which they are part of, and therefore, of the others public services they are also users.Item Direito do trabalho e previdenciário na educação profissional e tecnológica em uma perspectiva contra-hegemôminica(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-07-15) Lima Filho, Noé Higino de; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3106780553307514Acquiring knowledge related to Labor and Social Security Law is fundamentally important for strengthening professional relationships, as these legal fields protect citizens and ensure safeguards against potential abuses in labor relations. This study aimed to analyze whether pre- graduating students from Federal Institutes have access to knowledge of Labor and Social Security Law before entering the job market, as well as to verify whether there are mechanisms in place to protect them from possible exploitation within the capitalist system. In this context, the research investigates how the Integrated High School (Ensino Médio Integrado – EMI) curriculum addresses basic labor rights, such as the FGTS (Severance Indemnity Fund), paid vacation, 13th salary, sick leave, maternity leave, among other rights. The study falls within the research line "Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in Professional and Technological Education (EPT)" and is aligned with the macroproject "Organization of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT." The investigation is developed under a critical lens of the labor market and its insatiable demand for the training and qualification of those who intend to enter it. This work analyzes the legal knowledge provided within EMI and whether it effectively prepares students to engage in the workforce beyond the interests of capital. As a methodological approach, the research adopts a quanti-qualitative perspective, using action research and semi-structured questionnaires applied to final-year students of the Agricultural Technical Course at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – IFAL – Satuba Campus. The research involved documentary and bibliographic analysis and was conducted in five stages: (I) Diagnostic research with students in the classroom; (II) Analysis of diagnostic data; (III) Definition and development of the educational product; (IV) Presentation of the product and application of an evaluation questionnaire; (V) Analysis of the evaluation data collected. The study confirmed the lack of practical legal education in Labor and Social Security Law for pre-graduating students at IFAL. In response, an educational booklet was developed, grounded in Paulo Freire’s pedagogical concepts and aiming to implement David Ausubel’s theory of meaningful learning. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the educational product in contributing to the formation of critically aware students, from high school through professional life, aligned with EMI’s proposal of omnilateral education in a counter-hegemonic perspective — not only preparing students to enter the job market, but also to defend themselves within it, equipped with the knowledge of what awaits them after graduation.Item Etnozootecnia como proposta de valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais em EPT(2021-08-27) Silva, Washington Luis Santos da; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Silva, Ana Paula Gomes da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3016801941244964This work is an ethno-technical study that was developed in the city of Palmeira dos Índios and region with the objective of collecting knowledge about the traditional use in the breeding of domestic animals. 100 semi-structured interviews were conducted. Data were collected for characterization of the participating subject as well as regional methods and customs for animal husbandry (cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, teals, rabbits, horses, dogs and cats). Participating subjects had an average age of 40-50 years and a balanced number of men and women, most of them illiterate or with low education with current or past activity related to agriculture or animal husbandry. Knowledge is fundamentally of traditional origin and is still frequently applied today, but if not registered there is a risk that knowledge will be lost in the face of scientific tests. The most common knowledge was the use of medicines of plant origin and the use of prayers and prayers (still persisting superstitions in supernatural beings such as the redneck and the like). In animals, treatment occurs in skin wounds and worms. The application of this knowledge can contribute to the appreciation of empirical knowledge still in use in these rural communities and pass on mainly to students of technical courses in the field of Agrarian Sciences.Item Práticas lúdicas para estudantes com deficiência na educação profissional e tecnológica(2024-12-10) Lira, Marco Aurélio Andrade; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4261509600402728; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Carmo, Bruno Cleiton Macedo do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1324613444134954The research paper “Playful Practices for Students with Disabilities in Vocational and Technological Education (EPT)” presents a study that aims to assist, through a didactic material in the form of a guide (educational product), the members of NAPNE (Center for Assistance to People with Specific Needs) in their interdisciplinary work with Students with Disabilities (EcD’s) of the Instituto Federal de Alagoas (IFAL) Campus Satuba. Its guidelines are focused respectively on research line 2 “Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in EPT” and macroproject 6 “Organization of Pedagogical Spaces of EPT”. It is based on the observational research method of a qualitative nature, starting with a study subsidized by a literature review. The research sample consisted of 10 people. Data processing was done through content analysis. Primary data were collected using online forms, as well as in situ through interviews. The study was created as a way to assist the multidisciplinary team that makes up the NAPNE at the IFAL Satuba campus, collaborating with the development of work in the teaching and learning of EcD's (Students with Disabilities) at EPT, through the dissertation and educational product produced. The main result achieved was the production of the teaching resource (educational product), entitled “Didactic Guide of Playful Activities for Students with Disabilities at EPT”. In addition to a bibliographic survey, the text contains writings based on reports from EcD's at IFAL Campus Satuba, a fact that contributed to a better foundation of the dissertation on the reality of the needs of PcD's within a context of inclusion. Given the importance of knowing the specific characteristics of each student with disabilities within the scope of EPT, the theoretical framework addressed aspects based on some authors, such as: Antônio Gramsci, Maria Ciavatta and Mario Manacorda, who refer to the formation in various dimensions of the human being through Omnilateral Education. Books such as “Coletivo de autores” and theorists such as Morchida Kishimoto, among others, also support this work, highlighting their pedagogical intervention combined with playfulness. Authors who deal with special and inclusive education in the context of professional and technological education are present as a theoretical reference basis for this study, with emphasis on: Antônio Flávio Moreira, Marta Kohl de Oliveira and Romeu Kazumi Sassaki. These authors provide an important reference when it comes to public policies and pedagogical practices related to education as a whole.Item Saberes e vivências das mulheres camponesas de União dos Palmares no ensino de agroecologia do Ifal(2021) Figueiredo, Eduardo Lourenço; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da Silva; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de AlmeidaFormal educational institutions should be understood as places of realization and recognition of collective struggles of an emancipatory character, as well as the construction of an omnilateral education that, in addition to a technicist attitude towards knowledge, enables students to think about issues of social relevance. In this sense, we understand that the school’s dialogue with social movements can be very useful in constituting this type of training. Taking this information into account, this research aims to contribute to the promotion of omnilateral training for students in the second year of secondary education integrated to the technician of the agroecology course at IFAL – Campus Murici through the insertion of knowledge and experiences of women peasant women in the formal theaching environment. Therefore, it is intended to give visibility tho the knowledge and narratives of a group of rural women, from União dos Palmares – AL, in order to contribute to the development of the integral formation of the subjects. The study is qualitative, actionresearch type and the intervention will take place from the production, presentation and delivery of an ebook that presents the knowledge and experiences of Peasant Women from União dos Palmares – AL and which will serve as a didactic resource for classes in several disciplines from the Agroecology course at IFAL, Campus Murici.
