The work aims to analyze the image of homosexual subject in the Brazilian gay press, from the newspaper Lampião da Esquina, which circulated from 1978 to 1981. The study, affiliated with French Discourse Analysis, adopts the thinking of authors like Pêcheux (2008, 2014, 2015), Orlandi (2012), Trevisan (2004), among others. We seek to understand the roles imposed on homosexuals by the society, marked by heteronormativity, repression and authoritarian discourses. Lampião acted as a “counterdiscourse”, using elements that denounced the conditions of period. Thus, it sought to remove gays from marginalized spaces, giving new meaning to discourses and proposing new meanings.

The naturalist al-Jahiz (776-868) was one of the most important Arab writers of his time, possibly having formulated one of the bases of the Theory of Evolution. His book Kitab al- Hayawan (The Book of Animals) could have been one of Charles Darwin's foundations for developing the idea of Natural Selection of Species. The research sought to verify the problems involved in the knowledge about the history of biology, specifically in the construction of the Theory of Evolution. Seeking to put the researcher in contact with as many sources as available on the chosen topic, all data were collected and interpreted, organized and divided for the construction of the research. The official national documents when referring to the work with the Theory of Evolution of the species only the name of Darwin and Lamarck and their ideas are requested or mentioned. There are still difficulties in researching oriental scholars, but it is necessary to highlight the importance of al-Jahiz as a researcher for the history of Islamic science and for the history of world science, with an emphasis on the areas in which he worked, such as biology and evolutionary ideas.

Given the difficulties encountered in including Astronomy teaching in basic education, especially in high school, whether due to lack of time due to the key content requested in Enem and entrance exams, as well as the lack of contact and experience of teachers with astronomy subjects. It is necessary to bring discussions of the content that Astronomy addresses due to its interdisciplinary nature and potential to engage contextualized Science teaching in the classroom. However, given the specific competence 2 of Natural Science and its Technologies present in the BNCC, this article aims to propose a didactic sequence regarding the understanding of the Conceptions of the Universe throughout history. Thus, the respective didactic sequence integrates History and Philosophy of Science (HFC) and the Nature of Science (NdC) with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology for Physics classes. The proposal seeks to promote meaningful learning, allowing students to understand the evolution of cosmological models and the construction of scientific knowledge. The teaching sequence is structured in stages that encourage investigation, debate and critical reflection, articulating Astronomy content with epistemological and historical aspects of science. The expected results include the development of critical thinking, the understanding of science as a dynamic and human process carried out by several individuals according to the social context and time in which it is inserted, without the presence of anachronism. The objective of this study was to evaluate the potential of the knowledge and extracurricular component of the Z-29 colony of the village of São Pedro, Jaramataia-AL, place in the land and water dialectic, avoiding waste and making income possible, contributing to the socioeconomic articulation of the fishing territory. It is part of a larger program, extension project, titled "Launching the tarrafa and fishing dreams" with data obtained from the project "Full utilization of food in the town of São Pedro located in the municipality of Jaramataia-AL" inserted in this program with relevance in the field of food and waste management. From the questionnaire applied, it was possible to identify some characteristics of the women of the community as vulnerability and lack of access to knowledge. The participants interviewed are in the age group of 16 to 51 years old, where 44.0% are from the community and 56.0% chose to establish residence due to the opportunity of work offered by the fishery. Based on the data collected, it can be observed that, in the sense of the age group and the regular time in which they engage in fishing activities, women do indeed have some characters in their profiles that are certainly linked to the issues of time and space. The workshops and lectures given on the integral use of foods were of great value for the fishermen to change the eating habits of their families, besides avoiding the waste and guaranteeing the food security in their homes.

Education has had to face decisions about how to continue teaching and learning while keeping its faculty, staff and students safe from an emergency public health issue that has developed rapidly due to Covid-19. In this way, Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) was the temporary and strategic solution that allowed, in the context of the Covid-19 Pandemic, to provide the academic community with the possibility of maintaining, within the possible circumstances, the teaching activities and difficulties of this modality. of teaching began to emerge. Thus, the objective of this work was to diagnose the difficulties of remote teaching encountered by the professors of the Instituto Federal de Alagoas-IFAL and seek possible solutions to minimize these difficulties. The action-research had a qualitative approach and the target audience were the teachers of IFAL - Campus Murici/Alagoas, of the technical courses of Agroindustry and Agroecology, through questionnaires with objective and subjective questions, related to remote teaching, which addressed the problems related to the synchronous and asynchronous classes and the strategies that could be used to minimize the difficulties encountered in the practice of this teaching that help in the transmission of teaching and learning knowledge. With the application of the questionnaires, the results showed that 95.7% of the professors have a stricto sensu postgraduate degree, with 41.7% having a master's degree and 54.2% a doctorate, and that 66.7% of the professors had difficulties in asynchronous classes and 33 .3% in synchronous and asynchronous classes, 50% of teachers suggested training on teaching platforms as a way to minimize the difficulties that were encountered in the ERE.

This article aims to present a concise analysis of the political and electoral dynamics from the colonial, imperial, and First Republic periods, examining how these developments converged in the Vargas Era, with a specific focus on the municipality of União dos Palmares. The study investigates whether the absence of elections during this period contributed to the dissolution of local oligarchic structures.

The present work presents a research with a qualitative approach, in the case study modality, the problem solving strategies of the students of the 6th year of elementary school were investigated, based on a questionnaire and observations of the activity developed by the students. The main objective of this work is to analyze the problem solving strategies of students in the 6th year of elementary school involving the multiplicative principle. Based on research by Smole and Diniz (2001), Dante (1991), Pozo (1998) among others. Eighteen students from a private school in the city of Cajueiro-AL participated in the research. Problem solving is an effective method to develop reasoning and to motivate students to study Mathematics. However, what you still see in the classroom are teachers insisting on staying in the so-called “comfort zone”, where the class is prepared using rules, formulas and huge lists of exercises.

The present work sought to investigate the problem solving strategies involving addition and subtraction of integers of students in the sixth year of elementary school, from a private school in the municipality of Cajueiro in the state of Alagoas. The work presents a qualitative approach, in the case study modality.The analyzes were based on research by Smole and Diniz (2001), Dante (1991), Pozo (1998), BNCC, among others. The results indicated that working with problem solving helps students to develop their strategies, seeking their own paths, exploring the Mathematics language and the teacher will be the stimulator, mediator, so that students generate their knowledge and productive ideas.

Over the use of electricity has become increasingly common in different societies, even becoming an item of the first necessity. given its importance for different areas of humanity. This article configures a pedagogical intervention held at the Federal Institute of Alagoas – IFAL – Arapiraca campus. The objetive was to discuss the importance and need to prepare students for technical courses in electronics to know how toperform an electrical installation safely. The intervention took place in a subsequent class of ectroelectronics course ,in the year 2023 in the subject of electrical and building installations, in which, , based on a plan previously prepared in line with the work developed by the regent professor, a practical class was held which took place in the laboratory, having as its central theme: “The importance of carrying out an electrical installation safely” and it developed in two distinct moments: the theoretical part, presenting on slides the components of an electrical installation, and the practical part, when the students were able to carry out an electrical installation. Assisting with the theoretical framework, materials from SENAI were used, in addition to renowned authors in the electrical field, which enabled a broader view of the importance of training new professionals capable of carrying out electrical installations safely and performing the function efficiently. At the end of the practice, it was possible to see how much the work carried out in pairs resulted the learning of the class, favoring the exchange of experiences between students and promoting collaborative and meaningful learning.

The transition of tourism from marginal economic activity to structural economic activity raises the need to leave amateurism and invest in professional qualification in all aspects of the activity, from planning to operationalization. In this sense, and in view of the current tourist dynamics in the municipality of Pilar, in Alagoas, the following question was asked: the continued training of professionals from the Municipal Department of Tourism and Events of Pilar, Alagoas, presents itself as a strategy to promote tourist development? Faced with this research problem, the objective of this work is to offer and analyze the effects of professional tourism qualification on the team of professionals from the Municipal Department of Tourism and Events of Pilar with regard to interpersonal relationships and service to the public and during the process of elaboration of the Plan of Tourism Development. The methodological path of this research was Action Research. For Nunes and Infante (1996), Action Research can be understood as a consulting methodology because it articulates formal and informal knowledge in the solution of organizational problems. The application of the action research started in July 2021 and in December 2021, when it was completed, there was a noticeable change in the behavior of the servers, in the survey of offers of services and equipment related to tourism and in the narrowing of ties with recognized institutions in the promotion of tourism.

Throughout history, through socioeconomic disputes of domination, the English language became a prominent language worldwide to the point of being made official in Brazil as a curricular component. Later, under such to analyze the presience of this language in more depth to understand its role in our society and the ideologies and linguistic policies behind pedagogical projects. Thus, this article intends to analyze the linguistic ideologies present in the official documents that govern the teaching of English and how these ideologies still reinforce colonial socioeconomic ideals that flow into teaching. To this end, scholars such as Veiga (2007), Oliveira (1999), Leffa (1999) and Celce- Murcia (2001) will be called upon to discuss the historical construction of English as a discipline in Brazil, its methods and linguistic conceptions. Also based on Volóshinov (2012), Bakhtin (1983), Bagno (2011), Pinto (2019), Walsh (2013), Pennycook (2007), Teles (2022 and Nascimento (2018) to discuss the concepts and linguistic ideologies present in contemporary neoliberal times and how such aspects influence educational practices. The study is inserted in the field of Critical Applied Linguistics (Pennycook, 2006) and indisciplinary (Moita Lopes, 2006). based on the commercial aspects of the language as a currency of exchange and a symbolic asset, in addition to verifying that official documents carry neoliberal ideologies that adopt languages from a technical perspective and that delay education, in addition to the presence of colonial ideals that maintain homogenizing political projects and cultural and linguistic norms guided by power relations.

This research aims to explore and analyze advertisements on internet channels, in addition to social networks, which use ideological and imagery aspects of speeches through the figure of great football players, in order to associate their images (players recognized for their trajectory and fame in the sporting world) with brands from large sports multinationals. The aim is to observe the image of great idols such as Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, their relationship of “trust” in the imagination of the potential consumer public, and the relationship that the advertisement provokes in the desire to consume sports products, as well as the false sensation that every boy can reach the successful status of the “stars” of advertising, in the study analyzed, the great football players, within this system as unequal as capitalism. In this article, it is necessary to reflect on discursive theory, relating concepts and characteristics relevant to the selected advertisements; observe how advertisements and the idea of the image concept are constructed before the public through the actors (players) and the discursive implications that the advertisement provokes; Associate the theories of communication, advertising and discourse analysis, and try to understand the relationship of these theories in the symbolic field.

This article discusses the humanization of childbirth and the importance of nursing professionals' knowledge on this topic, emphasizing teaching strategies that articulate theory and practice for better teaching-learning. Thus, the present study aims to use the workshops as a pedagogical activity with the central theme of humanized birth and non-pharmacological methods of pain relief during labor. The methodology used was an experience report of a pedagogical intervention carried out in a class that was studying the subject of Women's, Children's and Adolescent's Health of a Technical Nursing Course, through Pedagogical Workshops. It was possible to observe enriching learning for the training of students through practical learning, gaining knowledge about non-pharmacological methods for pain relief and humanized birth, as well as the importance of active participation during this period.

This work will show a little of the history of geometry, showing that this science was built from its usefulness, since its origin was due to the day-to-day applications of the people of the time. It will also deal with some of the trajectory and contributions of the mathematician Cláudio Ptolemy, in which he names the theorem that will be referred to, which in turn is little known, but of great importance in the mathematical field, where from it we can obtain several results, including in trigonometric applications which will be demonstrated. And in this way demonstrate the importance of the teacher involving the history of mathematics in his teaching methodology, making students more involved in the teaching-learning process.

This study investigates how Interreligious Education can act as an effective tool in confronting religious intolerance and promoting social peace in Brazilian schools. The research is justified by the growing cultural and religious diversity in the country, which poses significant challenges to pedagogical practice, requiring approaches that transcend confessional teaching. Based on a bibliographic methodology, the work analyzes the religious phenomenon as an object of scientific study, proposing a pedagogical triad composed of methodological atheism and agnosticism, empathy, and restorative justice. This triad seeks to guide teaching practices that are secular, critical, inclusive, and committed to human rights and religious plurality, in accordance with constitutional and legal guarantees such as the BNCC, the LDB, and Law 10.639/2003. The results indicate that Interreligious Education based on these principles promotes a more respectful, democratic, and welcoming school environment, preventing conflicts and discriminatory practices, especially against religions of African origin. It is concluded that Religious Education, when guided by a transdisciplinary, critical and dialogical perspective, contributes decisively to the construction of a more just, plural and peaceful society, by recognizing and valuing religion as a cultural expression, identity and fundamental right.

In March 2020, a Covid-19 pandemic was decreed with the imposition of social isolation and impediment to carrying out activities with agglomeration of people. These restrictive measures aimed to reduce the contagion of the virus. This work aims to identify the advantages and challenges faced by students of the Subsequent Technical Course in Occupational Safety at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) Campus São Miguel dos Campos, during the ERE. To this end, a questionnaire was developed applied to students who were formally enrolled in this course and developing their studies during the social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. It was possible to verify that most students consider face-to-face teaching to be more advantageous in relation to remote teaching, they had some difficulty adapting to remote teaching and that they consider remote teaching practiced insufficient to meet their learning needs. The advantages pointed out in this work lead to the understanding that some tools could be kept during face-to-face teaching, such as the possibility of accessing recorded classes at more convenient times for the students, in addition to the possibility of registering participation in the discipline to be accounted for with the delivery of activities within the deadline stipulated by each teacher.
