Item A história do curso técnico de eletrônica: promovendo a valorização e sensibilização da comunidade discente no combate à evasão na educação profissional(2022) Fidelis, Mariluze da Silva Vieira; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Castilho, Fábio Fancisco de Almeida; Souza, Maria de Fátima Matos deThe present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, The present work aimed to understand school dropout in the scope of the Integrated Technical Course of Electronics of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, at Campus Maceió, in order to alleviate the problem in the context of the course, building proposals that help the student's permanence in the integration of studies. The investigation focuses on the complexity of the subject, which involves personal, family, institutional and political factors. The study methodology has a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data were collected in 2020 and 2021, through the application of online questionnaires, made possible by Google Forms. Subsequently, in order to continue the systematization of the Educational Product (EP), we carried out another data collection, using the technique of the conversation circle through the virtual rooms of Google Meet. We also sent another questionnaire through Google Forms to 344 students of the electronics course. As an educational product, we systematized a photographic exhibition to give visibility and value to student identities and their knowledge produced within the scope of the Integrated Technical Electronics Course, this proposal is classified in the extension activity typology, according to a document from the Capes teaching area for masters professionals. It is understood that this problem is associated with the diversity of professionals and students that make up the Federal Institutes, as verified in other realities, by scholars on the subject. Finally, this problem becomes characteristic of the dynamism of inclusion. According to a survey of the evaluation of the Educational Product, carried out during the period of the photographic exhibition, the IFAL community, especially the students, expressed significant approval, especially regarding the information on the history of the Institute. Another important data, which reflects the acceptance of the exhibition, refers to the number of visitors, which was visited by 156 people.Item Alimentação escolar e sustentabilidade: compostagem como método de (re)aproveitamento dos resíduos orgânicos produzidos no refeitório do Ifal - Campus Batalha(2021) Mélo, Thaisa Martins Porto de Souza; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Oliveira, Maria Alice Araújo; Pereira, Álvaro Itaúna Schalcher; Meirelles, Nelson Vieira da SilvaThis investigation is linked to the research line Educational Practices in EPT and the macroproject Methodological proposals and didactic resources in formal and non-formal teaching spaces in EPT aims to develop sustainable practices in order to sensitize students and other segments of the school community to issues related to environmental, economical and social sustainability. The main objective is to promote the practice of composting as a method of (re)using organic waste produced in the IFAL cafeteria - Campus Batalha, using it as a didactic-pedagogical element in the articulation between theory and practice with an end to meaningful learning. Composting is considered one of the most effective technologies in the management of organic waste and should allow the integration between different curricular components, such as, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Waste Management. In this sense, an educational product (EP) will be prepared in the form of an e-book that systematizes the workshops with the following themes: Brazilian National School Food Program (PNAE) and sustainability, problematization about the culture of waste and the hegemonic productive system and composting as a practice of (re)use of organic waste. The EP must be developed from pedagogical practices with a dialogical and problematizing perspective, in order to contribute to an integrated training in the context of Professional and Technological Education (PTE). The research is characterized by a qualitative approach of action-research type and the methodological instruments applied for the diagnosis of this research were the semi-structured questionnaires, carried out with the students of the 3rd grade of the Integrated High School to the Agribusiness Technician and collaborating professors. The results obtained point to the importance of PNAE in guaranteeing the human right to adequate food, which, associated with the practice of composting, presents itself as an important step towards sustainable development. Each developing its contents independently and exclusively, implying traditional educational practices, with pedagogical purposes, almost always, decontextualized. Within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), it is believed to be no different. That being said, it is necessary that possible themes and contents be addressed in a way that considers interdisciplinarity, with an emphasis on the specific aspects of each area of knowledge, seeking integration and dialogue between them. Nature Adventure Activities can be configured as new themes and teaching-learning strategies with norms, values and attitudes that go beyond competitive practices and the contents of physical education classes. Being capable of an interdisciplinary approach with other areas of knowledge. Thus, this investigation aimed to verify the possibility of interdisciplinary pedagogical intervention, thematizing some adventure practices in integrated high school, through collaborative action research, which developed in a cyclical, dynamic and spiral manner. The target audience for the research were teachers and students of the Integrated Technical Course for Secondary Education in Agriculture, on one of the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas/IFAL. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicate that teachers considered Adventure Activities in Nature a theme that could be discussed within their respective areas of knowledge, and were able to understand interdisciplinarity and its importance in student learning. However, they highlight several challenges for carrying out interdisciplinary work. The investigation indicates the need for a proposed pedagogical intervention with an interdisciplinary bias. To collaborate in this sense, a teaching action was organized with interdisciplinary support through the theme: Adventure Activities in Nature. The action was consolidated into an ecological trail in the region, with students and teachers from two of the curricular components of the course under study. As a result, the collaborative educational product emerged, in the format of an e-book, interactive and interdisciplinary. In this sense, the scientific technological knowledge provided by the Federal Institute of Alagoas ( IFAL ) is essential for the cultural, technological and socioeconomic development of the state. This dissertation s ought to investigate the understanding of the participants of the Institutional Program for I NIT iation Scholarships in Technological Development and Innovation ( PIBITI ) about innovation and intellectual property at IFAL , being the advisors and scholardship holders/ volunteers with projects approved in the 2018 2019 and 2019 2020 notices of the program . The objective of this work was to disseminate basic knowledge about innovation and protection of intellectual properties to PIBITI participants, contributing to the effectiveness of the research applied within the IFAL . This work brings reflections on the relationship between the path of Professional and Technological Education (EPT) and the Brazilian capitalist mode of production, with an emphasis on the poss ibility of overcoming Brazil's subservience in the context of the world economy, through scientific technological development, associated to the integral formation of subjects in the conception of education of the Federal Institutes of Professional Educati on. The research has a qualitative approach, being used more specifically the action research method, with the use of methodological instruments: interview, semi structured questionnaire, field notes and virtual interaction. The i nit ial diagnosis showed th at the sector responsible for stimulating technological innovation research and the protection of inventions, the IFAL Center for Technological Innovation ( NIT ), lacks the structure to develop its legal attributions, mainly in the dissemination of the cult ure of innovation in the Institute , since the number of servers in the sector is small and the activities are diverse. The tabulation of the results of the questionnaires revealed that PIBITI participants have incipient knowledge regarding innovation and i ntellectual property and, to contribute to the expansion of this knowledge, a textual material was constructed in the format of an e book as an educat ional product of this research , aimed at PIBITI participants, and can be made available to other intereste d parties. The material had a positive evaluation by the target audience of the research, and can be used by IFAL todisseminate basic knowledge about innovation and intellectual property.Item Compostagem de resíduos de polpas de frutas : compostagem, uso na produção de mudas e disseminação de conhecimentos(2022) Soares, Alessandra Cristina de Lima; Vasconcelos, Erika Socorro Alves Graciano de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Vasconcelos, Erika Socorro Alves Graciano de; Gomes, Tâmara Cláudia de Araújo; Barbosa, Tiago Jorge de AraujoThe fruit pulp manufacturing process is a generator of organic waste, containing peels, seeds and bagasse. At the Cooperative of Small Organized Farmers (COOPEAGRO), located in the Municipality of Maragogi-AL, the pulp manufacturing process produces about 25 tons of this waste per month, which can be used to produce organic compounds. In this way, the objective of this work is to develop organic compounds from residues of fruit pulp agroindustry and evaluate them as substrate for the production of lettuce seedlings. The chemical characterization of the residues generated by the agroindustry was carried out for the purpose of sizing possible compost piles, such as the proportion of different residues to be mixed. The residues tested were pineapple, soursop, passion fruit, guava and acerola. To obtain the compounds, a hexagonal compost was used. After 120 days, the results showed that the monitored parameters followed what is indicated in the literature. The compounds were tested for the production of lettuce seedlings, evaluating seedling height, number of leaves, root length and dry mass of root area and root ball stability. The experimental design used was completely randomized, with 4 treatments (T1 = commercial compost; T2 = passion fruit and acerola; T3 = passion fruit and guava; T4 = passion fruit and soursop) and 5 replications. To represent the 16 experimental units, 8 trays of 128 cells were used, divided in half. The treatment of compost with residues of passion fruit and acerola, stood out from the others, presenting a higher average of the aerial part and root system. Chromatography of the passion fruit and acerola compound showed the best results. The technological products generated will be a patent of the organic compounds obtained, an article submitted to the Brazilian Journal of Agroecology and training at different levels.Item A contribuição da educação física na formação integral dos estudantes do ensino médio integrado do IFAL que buscam ascensão social e profissional através do futebol(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-10-30) Duarte, Arlene Leão de Lima; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; : http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Leão, Iberê Caldas de SouzaThis research, developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/IFAL), aimed to identify the contribution of Physical Education in the comprehensive education of IFAL Integrated High School students, who seek social and professional ascension through the practice of football, bringing the importance of Professional and Technological Education beyond job preparation, highlighting it as a transformative agent for human beings. The investigative study was qualitative and employed collaborative action research methods, whose methodological tools included semi-structured interviews where the results indicated the elaboration of an Educational Product in the form of a documentary video, with a central theme on the the pursuit of social and professional advancement through football practice, as well as the trajectories of family members of professional athletes and teachers of the Physical Education Curricular component, which bring the contribution of this component to the integral training of these athletes. The diagnosis was carried out through the application of twenty-eight questionnaires with teachers of the Physical Education curricular component at IFAL and thirty-two students from the 11th grade of the Electrotechnics program in Integrated High School, where the intentionality of the students, when they choose Football as a sport to be practiced during their training process within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, as well as the importance of systematizing the material in documentary video for use by Physical Education professionals in their instructional endeavors. The documentary video was evaluated by students, teachers and other interviewees who were part of its construction. The evaluation intervention took place in Physical Education classes, in a 11th grade class of the Computer Science Course, and a 11th grade class of the Agroindustry Course in Integrated High School, as the theme is parof the syllabus of the curricular component that deals with of issues related to sport. The objective was to investigate the legislation on solid waste management in the context of Professional and Technological Education for the proposal of a Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus and elaboration of an environmental booklet. The study was characterized in a qualitative and quantitative approach - focusing on the interpretation, meaning and sense of environmental education - analyzing the current situation of the residues generated on the Campus - through their gravimetric composition; as well, it investigated the perception of teachers, administrative technicians, students and outsourced workers in relation to the problem of solid waste, more specifically, as action research - in which the subject-researcher participates directly in the reflections around work. The results showed that the vast majority of students and contractors consider society as the main responsible for the conservation of the environment and, for the most part, feel responsible for the correct disposal of waste. However, only a small minority will segregate organic and inorganic waste before disposal and most do not know how long the waste takes will decompose in the environment. However, the concern of students, contractors, teachers and administrative technicians about the environmental problems arising solid waste is clear. The hypotheses raised in the study after being confronted, in an interpretive way, with the knowledge produced, were confirmed. Finally, the Solid Waste Management Plan for the Campus was proposed, with indicators for evaluation and monitoring, and mains legislations referring to solid waste; as well as an Educational Product, in the form of a booklet, dealing with issues related to solid waste - as support material, for the development of environmental education actions on Campus. The Educational Product developed in the research was applied to students and proved to be relevant for the development of environmental actions. Considering the nutrient richness of the sludge, and its agricultural recycling as a technical, economic and environmentally safe alternative, the present work developed a technique for agricultural recycling of sewage sludge generated by the sewage treatment plant in the municipality of Igaci, chosen for having its sewage treatment plant built recently (August/2018). The methodological procedures were divided into two stages, where the first is carried out through the Geographic Information System (GIS), in which maps were built showing the areas of the municipality where sewage sludge can be applied for agricultural purposes. Finally, the present work sought to calculate the necessary sludge dosage in agricultural areas, for the main crops used in the municipality. With this, it is intended to carry out the recycling of sewage sludge in the municipality of Igaci, analyzing the places where they must be inserted, and the necessary dosage of biosolids for each type of crop that can be used in agricultural areas. This study enables a good management of the sludge from the sewage treatment plant in the municipality of Igaci, favoring soil recovery and the optimization of agriculture.Item Museu virtual: um espaço de memória e educação para o Ifal Campus Satuba(2024) Santos, Everaldo Soares dos; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares; Oliveira, Ana Paula Lelis Rodrigues de ; Silva, Ivanderson Pereira daThe research dealt with the memories of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas (Ifal), Satuba Campus, and the creation of the educational product (PE) entitled “Virtual Museum of the Satuba Campus” which is hosted on a Website. Contributing through its collection to the integral education of the institution's students and preservation of their memories. To this end, the objective was to investigate how a Virtual Museum of the Satuba Campus can contribute to the recognition of its memories by students, in order to enable access to its historical collection virtually, assisting in an integral education. The research has a qualitative approach, it began with bibliographic research focused on the use of school memories as a tool for valuing history, as for the methodological procedures, Action Research was used, carried out at the Satuba Campus, with third-year students of the Technical Course Integrated with High School in Agriculture. The study was conducted in two stages. The first stage was divided into three meetings: the first was the delivery of the invitation and completion of the preliminary questionnaire. The second stage was the presentation of the virtual museum to the research participants and the completion of the questionnaire to present the virtual museum. The third meeting was the discussion circle. At the end of the first stage, after processing the results of the discussions, the objective was to create the Educational Product, which is now available on the Satuba Campus website. The second stage presented the educational product called “Satuba Campus Virtual Museum” in the institution’s auditorium, which was evaluated by the research participants using the evaluation questionnaire. The collection instruments were used to process and analyze the data. The research concluded that the virtual museum serves as an instrument for preserving and disseminating the individual and collective memories of the institution’s members, contributing to the comprehensive human development of the Satuba Campus students. Difficulties were identified, given the institution’s immense collection, for the process of cataloging events and pedagogical practices by dates in photographs. The research opened up horizons for new academic studies on the history and centuries-old memories of the Satuba Campus for institutional strengthening.Item Organização curricular para inclusão do conteúdo de lutas no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica(2024) Oliveira, Jackson Israel Lima de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Lima Filho, Adalberon Moreira de; Silva, João Paulo Lopes daThis research, developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/IFAL), proposed to analyze the contributions to create a sequence for technical courses in high school on the content of fighting. This research is of a qualitative nature of the collaborative action research type of approach, the instruments collected from data were interviews and questionnaires. It was developed in three stages: 1) The diagnosis was carried out through the application of twenty-four questionnaires with the teachers of the Physical Education curricular component of IFAL, 2) elaboration and application of the educational product and 3) Evaluation and Validation of the educational product. The place where the research was carried out was Ifal, and the application of the educational product was the Ifal Campus Murici. At the time of application, 30 students enrolled in the 2nd year of the Technical Course in Agroindustry participated. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results obtained indicated the intentionality of the students regarding the application of the content of fighting in school physical education classes, to be practiced during their training process at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL). In addition, the importance of a didactic sequence of the content of fighting so that physical education professionals can apply it in their classes was highlighted. It was observed that 66.7% of the teachers interviewed work with the content of fighting in their classes, 20.8% work occasionally, and 12.5% do not include fighting in their annual planning. These data show that a significant portion of the teachers already address the content of fighting, which reinforces the information of Moura et al., (2017), who highlight that the topic has been the subject of recent investigations. As a result, some mistaken perceptions, such as the idea that fighting generates violence or fights, are being replaced by the many benefits that this content can bring to students. We also found that there is a high interest among students in the subject of fighting, which is valued by most students. The intention is, therefore, to effectively include fighting in school physical education classes, correlating the physical education curricular matrices in IFAL (PGD) with the didactic sequence created as an Educational Product (PE) and considering the social characteristics of students, in order to promote their integral development. This research opens possibilities for future studies that add and deepen the understanding of the content of fighting in the Physical Education (PE) curricular component in the context of professional and technological education. In addition, the applied didactic sequence can be adapted to other contexts and courses. from the survey of students' conceptions about the practice of this modality and from the observation of the performance of activities in practical and theoretical PE classes.
