Item Análise do plano de gestão de resíduos de serviços saúde de estabelecimentos do Estado de Alagoas(2025) Silva, Ivonaldo Gomes da ; Santos Filho, Moézio de Vasconcellos Costa; Sant’Anna, Selenobaldo Alexinaldo Cabral de; Santos, Aldenir Feitosa dos; Miranda, Paulo Rogério Barbosa de; Ribeiro, Cássia Roberta PontesWaste is the material that remains or that is undesirably generated in an activity. Healthcare Waste (HW) is that produced by any agent of prevention, maintenance or recovery of human or animal health or aesthetics. The increase in the population and the growth in demand for health and beauty procedures drive the generation of HW, causing health risks to those who come into contact with it. In Brazil, health, environmental, labor or metrology surveillance institutions issue standards, such as RDC nº 222/2018 from Anvisa and ABNT NBR 12808:2020, which aim to regulate activities so that harm to humans and the environment is avoided or, at least, minimized. One of the regulatory requirements is that each generator prepares and executes a Health Service Waste Management Plan (HWMP), making it available to anyone who wishes to consult it. This is an essential document for the provider to obtain the environmental operating license. Thus, the main objective of this study is to analyze the compliance of the HWMP with the current related standards. To this end, a theoretical framework for analysis (TFA) was developed, with each item based on the rigor of the available standards and literature, to serve as a parameter. In order to compare them among themselves, as well as not to expose the institution, each establishment was identified by the acronym HWG (healthcare waste generator) followed by the number corresponding to the position of the decreasing number of pages of its HWMP. A methodology was used that assigns scores of 5 (five), 3 (three) or 0 (zero), depending on whether the item of the Plan is fully, partially or not answered, respectively. Of the approximately 130 establishments consulted, only 13 made their HWMP available, and of these, the majority through the Access to Information Law. The TFA was structured with 70 questions grouped into six items. On this scale, each HWG could obtain up to 350 points. However, the scores ranged from only 137 (HWG13) to 243 (HWG5), that is, they are between 39% and 69% of an ideal standard, with five of them below 50% compliance with health and environmental standards. Given the limited availability of PGRSSs and the poor adherence to the standards of those that were analyzed, it is concluded that this document is absent in many establishments in the State of Alagoas and, in those that do exist, improvements are needed.Item Paradoxo do cuidado: segregação e controle institucional de pessoas usuárias de álcool e outras drogas na região metropolitana de Maceió(2022) Silva, Laura Fernandes da; Santos, Hugo Leonardo Rodrigues; Lima, Alberto Jorge Correia de Barros; Costa, Elaine Cristina Pimentel; Rodrigues, Fernando de JesusThe provision of social and health assistance to drug users is the subject of several lawsuits. Despite this, there are few studies in the legal-criminological field on the subject. As an effort to reduce this gap, in this master's thesis I analyze the performance of public and private institutions for the treatment and reception of that public in the metropolitan region of Maceió. Guided by the concept of transcarceration, I sought to understand whether the practices carried out in the studied contexts contribute to the expansion of the prison logic, which involves punitive and institutionalizing experiences and usually affects people whose subjectivities were shaped in criminal subjection processes. For this, I carried out ethnographic interviews in three involuntary and compulsory hospitalization clinics, five therapeutic communities, a CAPS AD and in a team from the Street Clinic (Consultório na Rua). I also interviewed people under custody in four prisons in Maceió who had already been treated for drug use. These paths allowed accessing the affective and professional trajectories of the participants, which permeate the entire text. In addition, administrative reports, normative instruments and judicial decisions served as a source of documentary research, which allowed us to understand the normative guidelines and other important aspects of the services, such as their financing. The study showed that private entities play a leading role to the detriment of public mental health network in the region, which is usually justified by their shortcomings. On the other hand, it has been shown that private institutions, mostly maintained by the repass of public resources, are also unable to contemplate the plurality of users and act without sufficient state control of their practices, which expands the space for arbitrariness.Item Pensamento crítico, autonomia intelectual e formação humana: facetas filosófico-pedagógicas no Instituto Federal de Alagoas (IFAL)(2022) Nogueira, Crislaine Almeida Oliveira; Gamboa, Silvio Ancisar Sanchez; Gamboa, Silvio Ancisar Sanchez; Menezes, Anderson de Alencar; Silva, Marcelo DonizeteThis research aims to understand how the students’ critical thinking training has been provided by the institutional proposal and by the teachers of basic education at the integrated technical secondary level of a public school of the Federal Network in the State of Alagoas of a public school of the Federal Network of the State of Alagoas. This study tries to answer the synthesis question, which refers to the research problem: What and how are the institutional proposals, strategies and pedagogical practices of teachers of Basic Education at the Integrated Technical Secondary level of a public school of the Federal Network in the State of Alagoas built, regarding the construction of students' critical thinking? The discomfort that happened during a professional experience in the pedagogical orientation role at the Federal Institute of Alagoas, aroused the interest in carrying out this research, due to the perception of several levels of demotivation among students concerning their training and future perspectives, both from a professional and social point of view, and their interest about the learning processes offered by the institution. This is a case study whose target audience were two philosophy teachers who teach at the researched campus. Data analysis, used in a qualitative perspective, requested documental gathering techniques, such as analysis of the Institutional Pedagogical Political Project and teaching plans, as well as interviews with the philosophy teachers. The theoretical contribution was built through the Critical Theory (with the Frankfurtians Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer), the critical-dialectical and emancipatory pedagogy (with Dermeval Saviani and Paulo Freire). From the subjects' speeches and data analysis, it was possible to find results that raised the diagnosis on the students' human development and on intellectual autonomy and critical thinking, starting from the teacher's point of view.
