Item A caneta que balança o berço: o entrecho e a construção de mães na formação docente(2024-08-09) Carvalho, Cleonice Maria Ferreira de; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Araujo, Claudionor Ferreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6155010171957004; Silva, Willian Cassiano da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1949383398907647This research is about my experience as a woman, mother and student in teacher training. The objective is to analyze how mothers' experiences and identities are developed and understood in the academic context. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: to present the evolution of the mother's role in society over time; investigate how the social construction of gender influences social perceptions and expectations regarding the roles of men and women in society and understand how mothers' reality and identity are formed and shaped during the training process. The theoretical basis of this research is based on authors such as Freire (1997), who addresses the view of the teacher as an aunt; Bourdieu (2012), which deals with domination; Prado and Soligo (2005) and Passeggi (2008), which discuss formative memories; and Badinter (1985), which explores the myth of maternal love, as well as other authors who contribute significantly to the discussion. The study consists of descriptive research, with results treated in a qualitative manner, based on the collection of information from secondary sources, including a bibliographic review. As research sources, in order to collect the theoretical framework, books, articles and websites related to the topic were used. By collecting information throughout the research and analyzing this information, it was possible to conclude that, although student mothers demonstrate great resilience and determination, the lack of adequate institutional support significantly hinders their academic journey. The research highlights the importance of more inclusive policies and specific support for these women, in order to promote greater equity in the educational environment.Item A emancipação feminina sob a perspectiva da personagem Ruth, no romance A falência(2022-08-10) Bernardes, Geraldine de Menezes Ribeiro; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Malta, Carla Carolina da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7728611783048332; Santos , Fábio José dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7569516305566259Júlia Lopes de Almeida was a 19th century Brazilian writer who produced novels, short stories, chronicles and plays, but she is still not mentioned in the history of Brazilian literature, like some of her contemporaries. This study aims to analyze, from the feminist critique, the character Ruth, daughter of the protagonist couple in the novel A falência, the main work of the carioca writer which was first published in 1901. In the first chapter, I address aspects of the lives of women writers of the twentieth century, in particular, Júlia Lopes de Almeida, the oblivion and rescue of the author’s life and work. In the second chapter, I propose a study of the work from the questions of memory and the analysis of the character Ruth from the perspective of feminist criticism. As a result, it can be observed that the character underwent a considerable transformation after her father’s death, ceasing to be a fanciful and an absent-minded girl to become one of the providers of the new family structure. It is also through the character Ruth that Julia Lopes de Almeida voices her ideas on the relevance of formal education for the women of her time. As a theoretical contribution, I used the studies of Muzart (2014), Duarte (2019), Faedrich (2018), Moises (2012), Candido (2013), Zilberman (2020), Le Goff (2019), among others.Item A importância da leitura infantojuvenil para a formação do leitor crítico(2024-07-19) Barbosa, Arthur William Cavalcante; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Santos , Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Cavalcanti , Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955This study delved into investigating the importance of children's and young adult literature in shaping critical readers. By addressing the need to understand how literature aimed at young audiences contributes to cognitive and emotional development, this research situates itself within the educational context, aiming to explore how children's and young adult literature can effectively promote critical reading among youth. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was adopted. The findings underscored the crucial role of children's and young adult literature as a mediator in identity construction and in fostering critical reflection among young readers. The study emphasizes the urgent need for more effective integration of literary works into educational environments, recognizing their transformative potential in contemporary society. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of fostering critical reading from childhood, acknowledging literature as an essential ally in shaping reflective and conscientious individuals. ––With theoretical contributions from Rildo Cosson, Bernard Charlot, Lígia Cademartori, Regina Zilberman, and Marisa Lajolo, this understanding reinforces the significance of valuing and integrating children and young adult’s literature into pedagogical practices, thereby contributing to the holistic development of emerging readers.Item A importância da leitura na infância para a formação do leitor(2024-08-03) Cardoso, Vanessa Sampaio; Silva, Manoel Santos da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4935593146997631; Lima, Antônio Carlos Santos de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8646424835026554; Silva, Ana Quitéria Menezes de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6438536384857226This study highlights the importance of reading from early childhood. It explores the fascination of reading and the need to incorporate it as a daily activity, allowing students to discover a new universe, full of information, wisdom and new opportunities. This strategy empowers students to chart their own path with autonomy and confidence, supported by solid training that prepares them for a lifetime. In this context, the role of the educator in the literacy process and the importance of the habit of reading are central themes discussed in this work. The main objective is to highlight the magic and importance of reading in childhood and the discoveries it provides, also aiming to form critical and reflective students, the discussion about awakening interest in reading and the importance of the teacher and the family in this context. The work addresses the difficulties encountered in the process, especially during the pandemic period, highlighting that it is essential that students acquire the habit of reading from an early age, which opens doors to this world of knowledge and opportunities, allowing them to develop the skills needed to chart your own path and be the author of your own destiny. The methodological path occurred through qualitative research, using bibliography TRENTINI, M.; PAIM L. (1999) MARTINS, G. (2001), MARCONI, M.; LAKATOS, E. (2007), DEMO, P. (2000) that recognize the importance of theoretical references already published as a guide for other studies. To support this study, we resorted to theorists Solé (1998), who outlines different strategies for reading in the classroom, Simões (2022) shows us how the reading process occurred in the middle ages, Nunes et. al., (2012), Roque and Canedo (2021) who emphasize the importance of encouraging reading, Lajolo (1996 and 2004) who deals with training the reader to read the world, Coelho (2015) and Cassiano (2009) also contribute with the discussion of this study. The study demonstrated that the ability to think independently and innovatively is essential for the formation of citizens capable of questioning the world around them, through reading. Furthermore, the search for books and the pleasure found in reading are, perhaps, the most rewarding results of this research. Finally, the positive results observed from the beginning to the end of the research reinforce the need for programs that promote reading among all ages, especially from early childhood.Item A influência da família no processo de aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita(2022-12-09) Silva, Herbeth Douglas Gomes; Campelo, Siquele Roseane de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1730383946648149; Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Varela, Simone; ttp://lattes.cnpq.br/82498794138660593This Undergraduate Thesis (UT) has as its main object the influence of the family in the reading and writing learning process of students in the final years of Elementary School. Faced with this problem, we outline the following question: What is the importance of the family's influence on the children's reading and writing learning process in the school environment? Based on this research problem, we outlined the general objective of analyzing the family-school-student interaction in the teaching-learning process of reading and writing in the ninth year of Elementary School. As a result of this objective, we developed the following specific objectives: Identify whether families develop strategies to follow the routine of studies related to learning to read and write; and to analyze whether the school develops mechanisms to favor the family's involvement in the teaching and learning of reading and writing comprehension. Therefore, methodologically, qualitative research procedures were adopted based on a case study. As data collection instruments, semi-structured interviews were carried out with a family member and a Portuguese language teacher in the ninth year of elementary school at a public school in Alagoas. Among the main results, it was found that the concern for students to leave the ninth with a good knowledge in the axes of reading and writing exists on both sides. Thus, family and school have developed strategies that, although incipient, can be the starting point for expanding social reading and writing practices from a literacy perspective.Item A intrusa: a mulher na sociedade do século XIX(2024-12-19) Silva, Crislaine Vitória da; Santos, Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Silva , Cleide Calheiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7445136004807968; Maia , Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119The purpose of this final paper is to analyze the work A intrusa, written by Julia Lopes de Almeida in 1908 - a Brazilian writer, chronicler, playwright, abolitionist and one of the first members of the group of writers who planned the creation of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL). The analysis of the book A Intrusa aims to identify the relationship between the work and the representation of women in 19th century literature, and its historical-literary importance for female protagonism. To this end, some of the steps taken in the analysis were the use of bibliographical research through studies to understand the historical context in which women of the 19th century were inserted, permeating matrimonial, professional and educational aspects. It is worth remembering the women writers, who in this historical period had limited access to the act of reading and writing, and who in turn were silenced by the literary canon. At the same time, a brief biography of Julia Lopes de Almeida is presented, which highlights aspects of her professional, cultural and personal life, focusing on her importance for female protagonist in literature. Finally, in The Intruder we will highlight the analysis of the female characters, identifying the characteristics present that signal how women were seen in 19th century society.Item As (re) significações do cotidiano discente no contexto da trama teatral(2024-03-21) Cruz, Ronaldo Antonio Torres; Silva , Ari Denisson da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0863504643409677; Maia , Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Araújo, Caio Ricardo da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2081974069870104This paper consists of an experience report about the application of literary literacy and critical literacy through theatrical practice, promoted by Reading Incentive Club and the Mandacaru Theater. The work is applied within IFAL facilities, and during the pandemic, workshops and rehearsals were online. As a reading club - poetic soirees and trips to the Deodoro Theater; as theater - dozens of theatrical pieces designed to provide activity participants with a plural and complete experience, with the aim of developing communication and body expression skills, allowing them to learn about different aspects of “theatrical activity”. As a methodology, the construction of diverse and transgressive forms of action in the undisciplinary process constituted by the predominant social being in the community chronicles is used. The conceptual models that guide this work are those of Koch, Rildo Cosson, Geraldi (as a reading club), and Delors et al, the exercises and theatrical games of Viola Spolin, the aesthetics of the Theater of the Oppressed, by Augusto Boal, and the Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner, (as a theater group). The results indicate that theater, being a transversal art that transgresses stereotypes, is a powerful instrument for transforming the individual into an epistemic subject.Item Desafios e aprendizados: uma jornada na residência pedagógica(2024-11-21) Maciel Júnior, Cláudio Pereira; Canuto, Húdson Kléber Palmeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4371625213976633; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Silva, Cleide Calheiros da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7445136004807968This paper presents an analysis of the experience of participants in a study on teacher training in the Undergraduate Program in Portuguese Language and Literature at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), who took part in a CAPES Pedagogical Residency Program over eighteen months. The objective was to provide an immersion in the school environment, specifically in 8th and 9th-grade classes at Escola Estadual Fernandes Lima, where the residents faced challenges related to teaching. The methodology included supervised activities, organization of seminars, and participation in student councils, promoting the integration between theory and practice. The results highlight the challenges encountered, the individual growth of the residents, and the importance of knowledge exchange with peers and supervising teachers, which enhanced their teaching skills and interaction with students. The discussion points to the positive impact that the residents had on the students' education, encouraging them to seek a solid knowledge base. In conclusion, the experience in the pedagogical residency program enriched the academic training of the participants and allowed significant contributions to the students' education, emphasizing the importance of a strong foundation for future teachers. Item Diversidade linguística e regionalismo na educação básica: um estudo dos livros didáticos PHASES no Colégio Saint Germain(2025-04-03) Cardoso, Ana Carolina Albuquerque; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Santos, Elaine Cristine Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Silva, Poliana Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0148660696988076The Portuguese language, due to its broad dissemination and cultural diversity, presents regional variations that reflect identities and social dynamics. In this context, this study analyzes how linguistic diversity and regionalism are addressed in the PHASES textbook collection, used in Elementary School I at Colégio Saint Germain during the 2023 academic year. The research focuses on the 2nd and 5th grade volumes of the Portuguese language subject, adopting a methodological approach that emphasizes didactic progression and in-depth analysis across different stages of schooling. Based on Bakhtin's concept of dialogism, the study investigates how regionalism and linguistic diversity are represented in these materials and the potential impact of this approach on the development of critical readers. The selection of volumes aims to identify patterns in how linguistic plurality is addressed, providing a comprehensive understanding of the collection’s pedagogical proposal. The methodology includes a literature review of technical and scientific studies, seeking to systematize knowledge and reflect on the implications of this theme in Portuguese language teaching. The results highlight the importance of didactic materials that recognize and integrate linguistic diversity, promoting more inclusive education aligned with students’ sociocultural realities.Item Dos muros à sala de aula: o gênero grafite como práticas dee letramentos de reexistênca no contexto da EPT(2021-03-08) Albuquerque, Fabiana da Silva; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Barbosa, Cleusa Salvina Ramos Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7243836316721979; Barbosa, Flávia Karolina Lima Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3662242058929178We conceive, according to Souza (2011), Grafite as a linguistic-textual-discursiveartifact, that is, “a multisemiotic text”, which is part of the cultural, social realities, possibly based on the dialogue that can be established with students' knowledge about gender. There fore, in the present qualitative research, we adopted the graphite genre as an object of investigation, considering that the gender in question and the literacies that compose it are not valued in many educational institutions, as many social and aesthetic prejudices still persist for part of society today. The main objective of this work is to promote discussions and to highlight the genre Grafite asan instrument of literacies of re-resistence in the EPT school scenario through a Didactic sequence (SD) used in Portuguese language classes. The methodological basis is an action research, based on the research perspective of Applied Linguistics(LA). We adopted two questionnaires as instruments of data collection: a profile, applied at the beginning of the research and another reflective evaluation used at the end of the investigative process. In addition, during the application of the SD,reading and production activities were carried out on the graffiti image text, and a conversation / interview with a producer of this art. According to the results presentedin this research, it was found that the approach of this genre helped to demystify prejudiced views that surround Graphite by the subjects collaborating with the research. In addition, this work enabled students involved in the investigative process to have a more intimate and enlightening about this genre.Item Escrevivência de mulheres negras na literatura brasileira: reistência e protagonismo feminino(2024-11-30) Barros, Layane dos Santos; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Silva, Poliana Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0148660696988076; Santos , Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125Afro-Brazilian female literature has consolidated itself as a space of resistance for black women in Brazilian society. The present study analyzes literature written by black Brazilian women in order to understand how black female writing has consolidated itself as a means of resistance, struggle and voice for a people, a nation. For the purposes of the study, a qualitative approach was used, discursively analyzing the narratives printed in the literature of Conceição Evaristo, Carolina Maria de Jesus and Bianca Santana, in addition to other bibliographic references written by black women. From the readings and analyses, we understand that the writing of black women in Brazilian literature has been consolidated as a way of resignifying, resisting and denouncing the violence suffered and erasing the history and culture of a nation.Item Homoerotismo em banheiros masculinos: uma análise linguístico enunciativa queer/cu ir de grafitos em contexto escolar(2025-05-19) Farias, Caio Vinicius Calheiros; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Santos, Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Patriota, Elizabete Bezerra; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3259465965856041; Silva, Danillo da Conceição Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6370328770730957In educational spaces, there are diverse possibilities for the development of identities, especially if we consider the school as one of the agencies that promote access to gender performances. However, given that debates on sexuality and gender are often silenced, making invisible and marginalizing those who do not “fit” the cisheteronormative ideal, so privileged in the educational field, language assumes a fundamental role. When they do not see themselves represented, these dissident bodies construct and (re)affirm their identities through subversive discursive practices, such as bathroom graffiti, challenging institutional norms. This research, through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and image capture, analyzed, from the perspective of Queer Applied Linguistics, graffiti that performs homoeroticism on one of the campuses of an educational institution in Alagoas. We recognize the bathroom as a space for statements and discursive productivity, where graffiti of homoerotically inclined subjects are present.Item Letramentos e gírias na sala de aula de um colégio militar de Alagoas(2024-02-12) Paranhos, Cristiane Silva Costa; Lima, Josenice Claudia Moura de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6932416698842297; Agra, Christiane Batiga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0715128190591513; Silva, Poliana Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0148660696988076This research aims to investigate how slang that circulates on social networks and in the school environment is used, reflecting on how it can be a linguistic resource in the process of teaching and learning the native language and an instrument of interaction between teacher and students. In the research process we observed that there is a concern at the school regarding the use of the normative grammar and that this promotes a certain disqualification for other possibilities of communication between teachers and students. Faced with the possible erasure of linguistic variations, this stance favors linguistic prejudice, limiting learning only to the so-called “standard”, belittling other forms of language, such as slang in this case. The theoretical aspects were based on authors who bring important concepts about Language (BAKHTIN, 2016) and (VOLOCHINOV, 2021), Literacies (KLEIMAN, 2006), (SIGNORINI, 2006), (SOUZA, 2011), (BATINGA AGRA, 2018) and (SILVA, 2016), qualitative research (TRIVIÑOS, 1987) and (ANDRÉ, 1995), Voices of the South (MOITA LOPES, 2006), Slang (PATRIOTA, 2009), among others. The work presents a case study carried out in a military school in Maceió where a 7th year elementary school class was observed, based on qualitative research. Considering this described context, the present study sought to analyze slang in the light of Applied Linguistics and Literacy, from social networks to the school environment, how they can contribute to the process of teaching and learning the Portuguese language, as well as in the teacher/student relationship. From this study we observed not only the relevance of the topic, but also the transgression of students when using slang in the classroom.Item Libras e socioliguística: ouvindo o silêncio do outro(2024-06-17) Silva, Lenivaldo Venancio da; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Pinto, Charridy Max Fontes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4139562888411167; Santos, José Carlos Lima dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5328411913838068This work addresses issues related to sociolinguistics and Libras, making a historical connection and the challenges faced in the acceptance and inclusion of Brazilian sign language, mainly in the educational context. For that, some perspectives related to language, challenges, inclusion and interaction between deaf and hearing people will be addressed in this research, in addition to social issues that are relevant to this debate. Through bibliographic and qualitative research, analyzing articles, books, websites and other texts, the authors being Bakthin (2003), Foucault (1998), Freire (1996), Bagno (2002), Skliar (1999), among others, which address issues relevant to the development of this work. The relevance of these studies and application aims to create an environment that values Libras as a legitimate language rich in cultural expression, and the social and educational inclusion of the deaf community.Item Língua portuguesa no Brasil: um olhar decolonial acerca do ensino de língua na educação básica(2024-06-10) Souza, Maria Isabelly Viana de; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119The present article aims to reflect on the teaching of the Portuguese language, based on an understanding of decoloniality, with literacy as a pedagogical action focused on the social practice of reading and writing skills, considering the plurality and variations of the language with which individuals have effective contact in their daily lives. The selected theoretical framework was that of the Modernity/Coloniality Group, which considers the reality of a decolonized and autonomous education, along with studies by Kleiman (2008) on literacy, and by Bagno (2007) on linguistic prejudice and language variations. The methodological approach was conducted through qualitative research, using existing bibliographies on the subject as the analysis corpus. In the conducted research, we perceive pedagogical paths that aim for the emancipation of students through a Portuguese language teaching practice that takes into account the concepts of decoloniality and literacy, converging towards working with the plurality and variations that the language encompasses in its constitution.Item Linguagem: a relação entre os nomes e as coisas sob diversas perspectivas(2024-04-24) Santos, Antônio Carlos Silva dos; Nunes, Hugo Santos; Canuto, Húdson; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4371625213976633; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4304337631466259; Santos, Elaine Cristina Rapôso dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0758592442310125; Pereira, Otávio Monteiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9362055679515034Bearing in mind that language is a subject of very broad study and that, precisely for this reason, it presents challenges in understanding different areas of knowledge, the philosophy of language presents an overview of what this object of study is. The research aims to understand how language is seen at different times in the history of the philosophy of language. To do so, it is necessary to analyze the main points of what some philosophers thought about language from ancient Greece to contemporary times; compare the different points of view, checking convergent and divergent points between them and, in this way, reach an overview of what language was for these thinkers. Research isthen carried out based on a bibliographical review of central documents from the thinkers chosen for the research. In view of this, it appears that opposing thoughts about language coexisted and coexist, sometimes getting closer and sometimes distancing themselves from each other. Therefore, the philosophy of language contributed and contributes to verifying that language can only be understood within a panorama of ideas, each one revealing parts of this multidisciplinary and heterogeneous language.Item Literatura em sala de aula: reflexões sobre a formação de leitores literários(2025-09-26) Monte, Amanda de Mendonça; Malta, Carla Carolina da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7728611783048332; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Canuto, Hudson Kleber Palmeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4371625213976633The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the challenges and possibilities of teaching literature at school, with a focus on formation literary readers. More specifically, it aims to address the formation of the literary reader promoted by the school, considering the role of the teacher as mediator, the importance of the appropriate selection of literary works and the need for pedagogical practices that arouse interest and pleasure in reading. It also sets out to reflect on the challenges faced in the process of introducing literature into everyday school life and to suggest possible paths for a critical, sensitive and meaningful reading education, in line with curriculum guidelines and contemporary social demands. For this study, the theoretical framework consists of authors such as Cosson (2022) and Zilberman (1990), as well as documents that govern teaching, such as the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC, 2018). Other authors mentioned include Roxane Rojo (2009), who addresses multilearning, and William Roberto Cereja (2004), who proposes a dialogical approach to literature.Item Metodologias ativas: a gincana para a prova SAEB, aplicada na prática do PIBID em turmas de 9º ano(2025-08-15) Lima, Lucas da Silva; Maia, Willianice Soares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0338504323994119; Agra, Christiane Batinga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0715128190591513; Hudson Kleber Palmeira Canuto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4371625213976633Within the context of the teacher training internship, this article aims to provide a summary of the collective activities carried out at the Doutor Fernandes Lima State School, in the São Jorge neighborhood of Maceió, Alagoas, from June 13, 2023, to April 30, 2024, as part of the Institutional Teaching Initiation Grant Program (Pibid). These practices will be described and documented for analysis and record keeping. This work aims to present the implementation of active methodologies, applied in a pedagogical dynamic, specifically in the context of the 9th grade of elementary school. The research has a qualitative bias, focusing on the teaching-learning process in the development of didactic-pedagogical actions aimed at preparing for the Basic Education Assessment System (SAEB) Exam. This article analyzes the implementation of the scavenger hunt, developed based on 9th-grade content and structured according to SAEB guidelines. The results, analyzed critically and evaluatively, point to an increase in student interest and motivation, demonstrating the effectiveness of the active methodology.
