Item Construção de um serious game para abordagem de noções de direito do trabalho no contexto da educação profissional e tecnológica(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-05-20) Silva, Carlos Farias da; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317This research emerged from the need to offer notions of Brazilian Labour Law in integrated Professional and Technological Education at the intermediate level of the Federal Institute of Alagoas. Although the Federal Institute of Alagoas offers professional education as one of its purposes, it does not include in the curriculum of integrated technical courses at the secondary level the approach of essential concepts of Brazilian Labour rights, such as the basic functioning of a contract, forms of access to Labour Justice and knowledge of institutions responsible for protecting workers, for example. In view of this fact, as well as the opportunity to strengthen the professional and citizen education of students, this research proposed to make said content available through a game, Tripalium, which is a serious game, whose purpose is to promote the learning of contents, by working on the motivation and interest of students in the topic. The research question that leads the study was the following: would a serious game be an appropriate instrument to address notions of Brazilian Labor Law at the Federal Institute of Alagoas? The hypothesis raised was that, yes, because games, in theory, are able to motivate students and, for that, they produce direct reflexes in the attention and interest of learners in the content discussed. Therefore, the research had as a general objective the construction of the referred game, which was accomplished through the realization of four specific objectives: 1) to build a previous organizer, a potentially significant introductory material, based on the principles of Theory of Meaningful Learning, to address the central themes of the notions of Brazilian Labor Law and, thus, to place students / players in the theme; 2) build a prototype for the game; 3) carry out tests on the prototype, with the participation of student volunteers, to identify errors and possible improvements; 4) implement changes based on the suggestions and reviews from student volunteers. This paper is about action research, with a political-social perspective and qualitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire, field diary and focus group, and had the primary function of subsidizing the construction and improvement of Tripalium, the educational product resulting from this research. The experiences provided by the production process of Tripalium showed that the game contributed to increase motivation and facilitate the learning of the contents, while also providing fun for the players. Besides that, results indicated that Tripalium served to increase interaction and cooperation between players / students, as well as increasing their participation during the learning process itself.Item O debate da filosofia crítica da tecnologia no ensino médio integrado profissional através de uma sequência didática(Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia, 2021-07-01) Caminha Neto, Aloisio Ribeiro; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317The investigation of this research seeks to clarify how the concept of technology is perceived and represented by a group of second year students, from the environmental course, from the Integrated Professional High School, from the Federal Institute of Alagoas - IFAL, within the scope of the Program Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education - ProfEPT. The objective of the work is to propose a critical reflection of the concept of technology articulated by a didactic sequence, aiming to relate the nature of technological choices and their consequences for the environment and for the collective well-being in contemporary societies. The theoretical framework establishes a dialogue between reflections on Professional and Technological Education, Integrated High School and the contents presented by the Critical Philosophy of Technology, seeking to clarify the existing relationships between Education, Work, Capital and Technology. The research follows a qualitative approach with a socially critical perspective, since its intention is not only to improve the curriculum, but also to promote the construction of a more just and democratic world based on stimulating political participation in technological choices. Thus, the main objective of this research is to develop an educational product (a comic book magazine), which through playful activities can contribute to the educational process and omnilateral human education of the student in Professional and Technological Education in the curricular component of Philosophy in Integrated High School, in the context of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Alagoas - IFAL. The present study sought to examine the production of the professional masters degrees of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, PROFEPT, Professional Masters in Professional and Technological Education and PPGTEC, Masters in Environmental Technologies. It was observed that these postgraduate programs have in common the challenge of developing products that culminate in objective responses to the problems posed in the themes of education and the environment, respectively. The theoretical interlocutions were carried out based on authors who deal with professional and technological education, such as (Barbier, 2007), (Bomfim, 2018), (Ciavatta, 2014), (Frigotto, Ciavatta, Ramos, 2012), (Freire, 1999), (Ibiapina, 2008), (Pimenta, 2007), (Pio, 2012), (Quevedo, 2018), (Tardif, 2019), whose methodology is based on studies by (Martins, 2004), (Backes, 2011), (Silva, 2013). In methodological terms, the study was investigative, qualitative, of the action research type, whose methodological instruments for data collection included the application of a questionnaire and bibliographic research. The qualitative method used consisted of research, reading of the Federal Constitution of 1988, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education, analysis of the standards, plans, regulations, annex of the regulation, institutional development plan, rules, resolutions of the aforementioned postgraduate programs; assessment of the training of the teaching staff and the production of professional master's degrees; investigation of the official website and repository of dissertations and products developed. The result of the research demonstrated the relevance of educational products for education and the importance of technical-technological products for science. Based on the results, an educational product was prepared in the format of a Catalog of Educational and Technological Products of the Professional Master's Degrees of IFAL, a proposal that observed the productions of the two stricto sensu postgraduate programs of IFAL - PROFEPT and PPGTEC. The (PE) prepared may contribute to the recognition of IFAL as a research institution with the consequent positive impact. Still in relation to the results of this investigation, it is possible to historicize the trajectory of IFAL's stricto sensu postgraduate programs since their implementation and systematize the products available in their repositories in order to measure the importance of these programs to promote the development and transfer of technologies at the state level. From the collection and interpretation, it was possible to establish some considerations about the professional master's degrees, as well as the educational and technological products. The number of educational products (58) between (2020-2023) of PROFEPT. The number of products (86) between (2019-2023) of PPGTEC. Therefore, it is possible to envision the possibility of this work and the (PE) Catalog of Educational and Technological Products of IFAL's Professional Master's Degrees contributing to the promotion of science, technology, culture and work in the Federal Education Network, as well as to society.Item Política de ação afirmativa no ensino médio integrado: ação educativa em arquivo para o ensino da História e Cultura Afro-brasileira no contexto da Lei 10.639/2003(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-02-18) Santana Filho, Décio de; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1280124410024317; Oliveira, Gabriel Abílio de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2230744058359248; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Barbosa, José Isnaldo de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3111088449226485In the context of affirmative policies in Brazil, Law 10,639/2003 was instituted, which established the mandatory teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture in public and private schools, at elementary and secondary levels. However, more than fifteen years after its enactment, its implementation remains a challenge. This work aimed to present the educational action in archives as a strategy for the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture at the Instituto Federal de Alagoas (IFAL). The qualitative research was carried out, of an applied nature. The procedure was action research. The application context was the Marechal Deodoro/IFAL campus and the Public Archive of Alagoas (APA). The research participants were the History professors of IFAL and the 2nd and 3rd year students of the Technical Courses in Tourism Guide and the Environmental Technician, from the Marechal Deodoro campus and a representative of the APA. The data collection method used the techniques of participant observation, document analysis and application of questionnaires. As a result of the research, it was verified that the educational action is a reality of the APA. The institution is open to welcome the school public. In its collection there are newspapers, crafts, correspondence, books, certificates, inventories that can be transformed into didactic resources for the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History. Itis considered that the study expands the discussions about educational action in archives, presents the relevance of interdisciplinarity to solve concrete social situations. It also contributes to actions aimed at implementing Law 10,639/2003 in Integrated High School in Alagoas. Finally, a digital booklet entitled Arquivo Público de Alagoas is created as an educational product as a non-formal educational space for the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture. The general objective was to analyze the participation of IFAL students and staff in Extension Projects, in a conception of integral human professional and technological education, which promotes inclusion, the development of students' creativity and autonomy and also the use of other training spaces and integrated practices, from the perspective of Extension as a training dimension. The methodology used was qualitative, collaborative action research, according to Ivana Maria Lopes de Melo Ibiapina (2008) and Laurence Bardin (2011). Semi-structured interviews were carried out with 35 people in the context of different territories covered by IFAL, based on the assumptions of critical historical theory, according to Odilon Roble (2012) and Paul Thompson (1998). In addition, a survey was carried out of data related to Extension from 2019 to 2025 at IFAL and a documentary analysis of the PDI, PPPI and some institutional regulations. This research resulted in an Educational Product (EP). The EP is an Extension Worker's Diary based on the speeches of the participants, students and extension workers, with the aim of sensitizing IFAL students to the importance of participating in Extension Projects for their education. Furthermore, this EP will be able to subsidize managers, extension coordinators in the teaching units, extension project supervisors and teachers in Integrated High School Technical courses in relation to extension activities, and be applied in other educational institutions.
