In response, state governments implemented measures to mitigate the crisis, including financial aid, tax incentives and online commerce platforms. The present study aims to analyze the measures adopted by the government of Alagoas to reduce the economic impacts resulting from social distancing during the Pandemic, with a focus on public policies. The mapping of state public policies aimed at combating the economic effects of the Pandemic shows that the state of Alagoas was a pioneer in implementing policies to support artisans, micro and small businesses and has the largest number of public policies on this topic. The state demonstrated resilience in collecting ICMS. Compared to other states, Alagoas stood out for its proactivity and specific measures for local sectors. However, challenges such as per capita income and unemployment persist, requiring continued public policies to promote the state's economic and social development. The research focuses on the implementation of a space dedicated to employee well-being in a public agency in the municipality of Minador do Negrão, Alagoas, analyzing the short- and long-term impacts of this initiative. To achieve this, it combines a theoretical approach, based on OWP concepts, with an empirical investigation through an opinion survey conducted with active employees between December 2024 and February 2025. The study aims to understand how organizational support and strategies focused on quality of life at work affect employee motivation, productivity, and professional development, fostering a healthier and more efficient work environment. In addition to contributing to the academic field by expanding the understanding of OWP’s role in the public sector, the article provides practical recommendations for improving working conditions and people management in public institutions. Thus, the results obtained are expected to support policies and initiatives that promote employee appreciation, contributing to a more effective, humanized, and socially responsive public serviceItem Governança eletrônica na gestão pública: um estudo de caso do governo de Alagoas(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-25) Nepomuceno, Maria de Lourdes Mártyres; Estival, Katianny Gomes Santana; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3495-6356; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4217256031353080; Estival, Katianny Gomes Santana; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3495-6356; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4217256031353080; Santos, José Eliton dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4414322289653973; Lourenço Filho, Macelo Diniz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9998518077299276The 1988 Federal Constitution ensures transparency and access to public information as fundamental rights of citizens, promoting democracy and civic participation. Electronic Governance (GE) uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to improve public administration and interaction between the State and citizens. This study examines the application of electronic governance in the Government of Alagoas, focusing on the policies and platforms implemented, in addition to evaluating its impacts on administrative efficiency, transparency and citizen participation. The methodology used was based on a documentary study and bibliographic review, being suitable for the proposed approach. The results point to considerable advances in transparency and digital governance in the State of Alagoas, although challenges persist. The analysis showed progress in the use of ICTs to increase transparency, as reported by CGU and ABEP-TIC. However, areas for improvement were identified, mainly in the transparency of public works and the creation of dialogue mechanisms between the public and private sectors. It is suggested that future research investigate regional and sectoral disparities in relation to transparency and participation, as well as the impact of implemented digital governance policies, aiming for continuous improvements. The integration of ICTs in public administration must also be deepened, with a focus on the accessibility and usability of digital services for the population.Item O impacto da auditoria interna na transparência e eficiência da gestão pública: uma análisedos mecanisnos e resultados(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-05-14) Melo, Nívya Karlla Ferreira de; Nina, Alex Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1854863840949256; Nina, Alex Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1854863840949256; Lourenço Filho, Marcelo Diniz; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9998518077299276This study aims to analyze the impact of internal auditing on the transparency and efficiency of public management, considering its main mechanisms and the results generated from its application. In a context marked by increasing social demands, regarding ethics, responsibility, and rationality in public administration, internal auditing has emerged as an essential instrument of governance. The research was developed using a qualitative approach, with a review of the literature, using classical and current theoretical sources, as well as normative documents from official bodies such as the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU), the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). The results indicate that internal auditing contributes to strengthening internal control, preventing fraud, making efficient use of public resources, and promoting accountability. It is also important to highlight the importance of ensuring the functional independence of auditing, investing in the ongoing training of auditors, adopting advanced technologies, and fostering an institutional culture based on integrity and transparency. As a limitation, the study did not rely on empirical data or case studies, focusing instead on theoretical analysis. It is recommended that future research investigate the practical performance of internal auditing in specific public bodies, exploring the use of technologies and the impact on organizational culture. It is concluded that internal auditing, when structured and valued, is a strategic pillar for more efficient, transparent and collective interest-oriented public management.Item Políticas públicas destinadas aos alunos de graduação: uma análise do Programa Pontapé da Educação em Arapiraca(2024-09-03) Morais, Ariane da Silva; Santos, Fabiano Santana dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5374548470795394; Santos, Fabiano Santana dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5374548470795394; Pavanelli, João Marcos Mott; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6330-9799; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1499320194737146; David, Acurcio CasteloThis work investigates the Pontapé internship program and its effectiveness in the professional training of students in Public Administration and Business, with an emphasis on the second call, Pontapé da Educação. The research adopts a qualitative approach through a case study, allowing for an in-depth analysis of the practical experiences provided by the program and its impacts on the academic and professional development of participants. The literature review and document analysis contextualize the importance of internships, particularly in light of Law No. 11.788/2008. The study reveals that the program not only enhances students' competencies but also serves as essential financial support, highlighting the need for public policies that ensure meaningful internship experiences and effective communication about these opportunities. Despite the positive results of the Pontapé Program, the identified criticisms offer valuable opportunities for improvement. Addressing expectations for implementation, increasing outreach, and reviewing the workload can enhance the benefits and enrich the participants' experience. Feedback from interns is crucial for the program's evolution, ensuring that it meets their needs and contributes to their professional development. Furthermore, the curricular internship not only promotes the acquisition of practical skills but also fosters a critical perspective on public service. This experience enables students to understand organizational structures and the social implications of their actions, preparing them to be agents of change in their communities and contributing to a more efficient and ethical public administration. This social awareness is essential in times that demand greater civic engagement and social responsibility
