Electronic Governance (GE) uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to improve public administration and interaction between the State and citizens. This study examines the application of electronic governance in the Government of Alagoas, focusing on the policies and platforms implemented, in addition to evaluating its impacts on administrative efficiency, transparency and citizen participation. The methodology used was based on a documentary study and bibliographic review, being suitable for the proposed approach. The results point to considerable advances in transparency and digital governance in the State of Alagoas, although challenges persist. The analysis showed progress in the use of ICTs to increase transparency, as reported by CGU and ABEP-TIC. However, areas for improvement were identified, mainly in the transparency of public works and the creation of dialogue mechanisms between the public and private sectors. It is suggested that future research investigate regional and sectoral disparities in relation to transparency and participation, as well as the impact of implemented digital governance policies, aiming for continuous improvements. The integration of ICTs in public administration must also be deepened, with a focus on the accessibility and usability of digital services for the population.
