This research has as final objective the elaboration of a preliminary study of an interior Project of na art room for children, located attachment to a church in the Farol district in Maceió - AL. In this space, activities Will be developed using a variety of languages in the Field of visual arts, there for eneed for anadequate environment to expand the sensory and artistic capacity of the child, as well as aiming at better interaction with the environment and development of autonomy and motor self-confidence in the ages 4 to 7 years. The Slow Food movement proposes a new gastronomy and defends conscious food linked to environmental and social issues, aiming at the pleasure of eating with the motto “good, clean and fair”. The focus is on valuing diversity. Thus, the problem to be clarified in this research was: how can the principles, concepts and motto of the movement be transferred to an environment, contributing to the customer experience using Interior Design? It was necessary to know the history of the movement through Carlo Petrini’s work, the precursor of this network, and also to analyze the fundamentals of Interior Design applied in a bistro. In the accomplishment of this work these methods were used: qualitative research, applied research, bibliographical and documentary research, and the exploratory research by collecting data through a semi-structured interview and a framework of reference. The project methodology, developed as a preliminary study, is composed by analysis and data collection through a briefing based on the client profile, target audience, space proposal, needs program and concept. Design assumes the role of an important component between the user and the artifact, so it is attributed the competence to capture the quality of objects and make all their representativeness perceptible to the consumer. In this way, the combination of design and handicraft opens up space to propagate the art of a place through the commercialization of these artifacts. This research explores which commercial design approaches and the importance of their performance contribute to the environment being delineated with the consumer's experience with the artifact as a priority. It aimed to contribute to the theme of interior design in the context of elaborating an interior project at the point of sale located in the Mercado de Artesanato de Maceió, a place of public and tourist domain in the city. The methodology, of a qualitative approach, was based on the collection of data in loco and in the development of the project proposal, the interior design methodology was applied, which consists of i) analytical phase and ii) synthetic phase. In recent years, the museum has faced a growth in visits from children aged between 2 and 5 years and this ended up requiring the development of an interior project, with further studies to adapt the institution's mission linked to activities that can be performed in space by this audience. In view of the above, this course conclusion work seeks, through interior design, to provide elements that allow a better use of children within the museum space, making use of aesthetic and ergonomic aspects applied to children. The development of this project took place following the methodology proposed by the interior design, to reconcile the objectives of the Natural History Museum of the Federal University of Alagoas in the construction of an adequate space to receive the children's public and that allows the application of relevant educational actions and in a secure and integrated. In this sense, initially it was necessary to know the institution in depth, its actions, exhibitions, and its functioning. In addition, we also sought to understand technical aspects related to ergonomics and accessibility, Materials and Colors for children's environments. The research is a key element to establish the project elements. This study case uses the pop art, which is shown here through its historical aspects. They assign meaning and style, as well as point a direction to the project's description. The program had the intent to meet the customers’ expectations. By those means, it was possible to create an environment, a living room, which is capable to reflect the customer's personality and keep the essential style characteristics.
