    A comercialização da produção camponesa na feira livre da cidade de Penedo (AL)

    The open market in the city of Penedo (AL) has great economic, social and environmental importance and is part of the countryside-city relationship. In this bias, the general objective of the research is to analyze the productive dynamics of the open markets in the city of PenedoAL: observing the importance of family farming for the open market and also in the city's economy, as a sustainable means of production; analyzing the city of Penedo-AL as a power to produce its own food products; and, finally, identifying the main subjects and places of origin of the products. The methodology used was through readings, guidelines, records, application of a questionnaire, photographic records and cartographic production. In this way, through the research it was possible to map the origin of the products, most of them outside the municipality of Penedo, and to affirm the open market as a place of resistance in relation to the great logistics of productions and logics of agribusiness, having most of the products marketed made by small producers in the peasant logic.

    Caracterização e análise das distribuição espacial das unidades de conservação federais no estado de Alagoas, Brasil

    Conservation units (UC) are protected areas, and function as a means of maintaining ecosystems that have great environmental relevance. Alagoas is a vast and rich state, both culturally and environmentally, and when researching the conservation units in the state, it was realized the need to address the topic: federal UCs. For this, an analysis was made of the territorial distribution of these UCs, and when evaluating them, it was possible to verify the great potentia and the conflicts that they have, interconnecting these concepts and acquiring information, such as the biomes present in the state and where are located, being the Caatinga and Mata Atlântica, the traditional communities that are located within these UCs. The Caatinga is an exclusively Brazilian biome, which has a characteristic vegetation and great biodiversity, having a great richness in species and a soil of fertile variability, being only 7.7% protected by UCs. As a result of deforestation, the Caatinga has been presenting problems of environmental deterioration, in addition to being a poorly studied and protected biome, for such reasons, it is of paramount importance to prioritize the study and protection of such a biome. The Atlantic Forest is not far behind, it is a biome that has great biodiversity and even so has many species at risk of extinction, has frequent problems with fires and deforestation and is only 10% protected by UCs. With this in mind, it is possible to observe that the Alagoas territory has the need and the capacity to create new UCs, since even though there are approximately 50 conservation units in the state, most of them are RPPNs (Private Heritage Reserves), while approximately 20 other UCs are unevenly arranged, favoring the east of Alagoas and the Atlantic Forest with 5 conservation units, while the Sertão and Agreste of Alagoas encompassed by the caatinga are unprotected, with only 1 conservation unit. Thus, coming to the conclusion that it is necessary to create new UCs in order to provide greater protection for the Sertão and Agreste of Alagoas, specifically targeting the Caatinga, because in the current situation it is disproportionate in relation to the Atlantic Forest.

    Cartilha para construção e uso de horta pedagógica: educação ambiental e cultura alimentar nas escolas

    Environmental education began to be inserted in Brazil in the 70's, with the National Common Curricular Base as an instrument of execution in formal education, confirming the relevance of socio-environmental issues. Among the various forms of application of environmental education, there is the use of booklets as didactic, illustrative and easy to understand material. For the present work, the theme selected for the booklet was pedagogical garden, a practice that has been increasingly used, for aggregating several areas and also showing the diversity of food culture. In this context, the objective of the article is to present methodological paths for the implementation of a garden in schools through a booklet, with emphasis on valuing food culture and bringing society closer to healthy foods. The methodology was based on literature review through bibliographic research and documentary research to obtain legal and theoretical support on the subject addressed, in addition to establishing criteria for the construction of the booklet. Given this, a booklet of 32 pages was built, which gathers information and guidelines for the implementation and use of pedagogical garden in schools.

    Educação ambiental para povos e comunidades tradicionais no ensino técnico integrado: como ensinar para quem nos ensina?

    Professional Education has, among many challenges, training citizens with a critical awareness of the social and environmental plurality of the territories. The municipality of Penedo-AL, in the construction of its identity, is formed by peoples and communities remaining from quilombos. In this context, it was observed a lack of instruments, in the Penedo Campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, needed to achieve the didactic objectives regarding the specificities of students from these groups. Therefore, the general aim of the research was to propose an improvement in the teaching process that dialogues with the reality of quilombola students from the Integrated Technical Course on Environment at the Penedo Campus, in order to promote environmental education in an effective and transversal way, respecting traditional knowledge. The action-research was the applied methodology, with the teachers from the course as the main subjects. From the diagnosis made, an interdisciplinary didactic sequence was constructed and applied in the context of emergency remote teaching, which was later evaluated by the teachers and students involved. The evaluations showed that the use of a specific educational product to present and debate issues close to the reality of students was well accepted by both teachers and students, with a need for improvement in relation to identity issues and student involvement.

    Letramento ambiental: proposta interdisciplinar para abordar o descarte irregular de resíduos sólidos através de gêneros textuais

    This article aims to present a proposal for a didactic sequence with interdisciplinarity between the subjects of Science and Portuguese Language, based on the theme “irregular disposal of solid waste”. It is believed that it is important to discuss the implementation of educational activities in a interdisciplinary and playful way. The use of reading and text production in contexts of social practice, understood as literacy (SOARES, 1998), in the context of environmental education must be understood as a work of environmental literacy (SOUZA, 2009). Fable textual genre serves as a stimulus for the discussion of topics of all kinds, especially environmental ones, and its inherent playfulness allows the application, reapplication and orderly implementation ofactivities towards the classroom.

    Observação de aves como ferramenta de educação ambiental em unidade de conservação: cartilha na APA Marituba do Peixe, Alagoas

    The most varied audiences seek ways to get closer to the natural environment, so activities such as bird watching are highlighted, being used as environmental education tools, as they encourage discussions about environmental conditions and create a connection with nature. The APA of Marituba do Peixe, located in Alagoas, has a high diversity of species and ecosystems with great potential for conservation. Based on this, the present work aimed at the construction of a booklet as a didactic strategy, having as its theme the observation of birds in the APA Marituba do Peixe. For this, bibliographical and documentary research was carried out on the characteristics of the APA with a focus on the avifauna present there and theoretical elements related to the theme of the booklet and its construction, in addition to field visits in the region. As a main result is the booklet on bird observations in the APA of Marituba do Peixe with indications for its use.

    Sequência didática como estratégia de sensibilização ambiental para turmas do 7º ano do ensino fundamental

    The present work aims to develop an interdisciplinary didactic sequence to be applied in classes in the 7th year of elementary school, in the subjects of Science and Geography, with a focus on raising awareness for the preservation of the Riparian Forest of the Escorrega River, in the District of Luziápolis- Campo Alegre - AL. The river provides water used by the local population, for supplying homes, leisure, agricultural irrigation, among others. Considering its socio-environmental importance, environmental education in schools focused on this preservation reality is necessary, using the experience of the school community to highlight the importance of the river.
