Item A participação de pais ou responsáveis nos processos de gestão da educação profissional e tecnológica do Ifal(2023) Alencar, Rendrikson Gonçalves; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Gomes, Maria das Graças Correia; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de OliveiraThe theme of this study is the participation of parents or guardians in management processes at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is an applied research project that aims to systematize educational practices for management work within the scope of Ifal. Located in the Teaching Area and developed in the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the research line Organization and Memory of Educational Spaces in EPT, it takes a methodological perspective with a qualitative approach. The universe of analysis is made up of the parents or guardians of students and the staff of the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams of two Ifal campuses located in the Sertão Alagoano Mesoregion. The methodological procedure used was documentary and bibliographic research and the application of structured questionnaires in three stages: I) Diagnostic research into the spaces for participation by parents or guardians in management and the management practices carried out at Ifal; II) Definition and development of the educational prototype/product; III) Application, testing and evaluation of the Prototype. When evaluating the product, the participants considered the quality of the material, its suitability for the profile of the target audience and the relevance of the content presented. The results of the discussion led to the creation of an Educational Product for evaluation by staff from the Pedagogical and Teaching Management Teams, with the aim of using it as a training tool for parents or guardians. The results of the study indicate that it is still necessary to develop information and training channels that promote the participation of parents or guardians in the management of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), so that the spaces guaranteed in institutional regulations strengthen democratic and participatory management.Item Atividades de aventura na natureza : possibilidades pedagógicas interdisciplinares no ensino médio integrado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-08-25) Monteiro, Vanessa Cavalcante Tavares; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Pereira, Dimitri Wuo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8929474503522796It becomes a challenge to break the separation of sciences into increasingly isolated disciplines, which do not dialogue with each other. Each developing its contents independently and exclusively, implying traditional educational practices, with pedagogical purposes, almost always, decontextualized. Within the scope of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), it is believed to be no different. That being said, it is necessary that possible themes and contents be addressed in a way that considers interdisciplinarity, with an emphasis on the specific aspects of each area of knowledge, seeking integration and dialogue between them. Nature Adventure Activities can be configured as new themes and teaching-learning strategies with norms, values and attitudes that go beyond competitive practices and the contents of physical education classes. Being capable of an interdisciplinary approach with other areas of knowledge. Thus, this investigation aimed to verify the possibility of interdisciplinary pedagogical intervention, thematizing some adventure practices in integrated high school, through collaborative action research, which developed in a cyclical, dynamic and spiral manner. The target audience for the research were teachers and students of the Integrated Technical Course for Secondary Education in Agriculture, on one of the campuses of the Federal Institute of Alagoas/IFAL. The results analyzed in the diagnostic phase indicate that teachers considered Adventure Activities in Nature a theme that could be discussed within their respective areas of knowledge, and were able to understand interdisciplinarity and its importance in student learning. However, they highlight several challenges for carrying out interdisciplinary work. The investigation indicates the need for a proposed pedagogical intervention with an interdisciplinary bias. To collaborate in this sense, a teaching action was organized with interdisciplinary support through the theme: Adventure Activities in Nature. The action was consolidated into an ecological trail in the region, with students and teachers from two of the curricular components of the course under study. As a result, the collaborative educational product emerged, in the format of an e-book, interactive and interdisciplinary. The PE demonstrates a perspective of dialogue between the different areas of knowledge, distributed in the training centers (basic, integrative and professional), of the unified curricular matrix for the integrated technical course in agriculture at IFAL, as well as for the other courses at the institution in focus. and anyone else who may be interested in the topic.Item Compostagem: uma estratégia sustentável para a redução de lixo orgânico residencial(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-03-08) Garcia, Julyana Correia; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Silva, Marina de Magalhães; Santos, Elisângela Costa; Gomes, Jarbas MaurícioThe improper disposal of organic waste, regardless of its origin, generates waste and contributes negatively to public health and the environment, compromising the quality of life of populations, especially in large urban centers. This scenario requires that measures be taken, seeking an improvement in the quality of life and protecting nature. It is in this sense that the objective of this work arises, to make a homemade compost bin, as an efficient alternative to recycle organic waste. Initially, a diagnostic evaluation was carried out, seeking to collect information from the community in general about what composting would be; if they have already used or if they had the habit of separating organic waste, among others. Soon after, the stage of making the compost was carried out, which is simple to handle, with residential organic matter, easily accessible material and using the microorganisms existing in the compost itself. After collecting the data, the surveys pointed out that the lack of knowledge or an adequate educational awareness system is one of the main reasons for the great waste of the organic fraction in the homes and that only about 40% of the interviewees have the practice of separating the organic waste of others. Regarding the construction of the homemade compost bin, it was possible to prove its great effectiveness in being an adequate and more correct destination for organic waste, because after monitoring some factors such as aeration, pH, temperature and granulometry, this process is capable of promoting an organic fertilizer and natural fertilizer, reducing the odor of residential garbage and reducing the amount of garbage sent to sanitary landfills. Thus, despite being a small compost bin, the results were satisfactory and could serve as a model for the preparation of domestic composting, being considered an action of great environmental and social impact.Item Emoções e sentimentos na aprendizagem e no cotidiano escolar do ensino médio integrado: uma abordagem a partir do contexto social escola-comunidade-sociedade(2025) Macedo, Elisabete Henrique Silva de; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Melo, Beatriz Medeiros de; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Santos, Renata Guerda de AraújoThis research investigated the influence of emotions and feelings on daily school life and learning processes, considering the social contexts that constitute the school, the community and society. Based on this research, an educational product in video format was developed, aimed at teachers and staff involved in the teaching-learning process, with the aim of supporting reflections on this topic in Integrated High School Education. The research was carried out within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal) and was justified by the relevance of addressing a topic that directly contributes to teaching practice, by recognizing that emotions and feelings permeate the learning and socialization processes at school, mediating the production of knowledge and the construction of socio-emotional skills. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, issues related to emotions in the teaching-learning process and in everyday school life were analyzed, based on Karl Marx’s historical-dialectical materialism (1967), Henri Wallon’s psychogenetic theory (2007), and Lev Vygotsky’s historical-cultural theory (2004). The research adopted a alitativequantitative approach, based on the principles of participatory research (Tripp, 2005a; Thiollent, 2011), and was developed in four main stages: I) diagnostic phase, with the application of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with teachers, technicians, and students, to map perceptions about the importance of emotions in learning; II) construction of the educational product, through bibliographical study and collection of oral reports from teachers and students, via interviews and conversation circles, resulting in the creation of a training video on the influence of emotions in the daily life of Integrated High School; III) implementation of the action, with the socialization of the video with teachers and staff on campus, encouraging reflection on the emotional dimension of pedagogical practice; and IV) evaluation phase, with the application of a post-action questionnaire to measure the impact of the training video and the degree of awareness of teachers and staff regarding the importance of emotions in learning. The research field was a campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas, with the participation of teachers from an Integrated High School course, students starting in 2022, in addition to the pedagogical coordination and the institutional psychologist. The data collected revealed that the teaching figure plays a crucial role in the production of feelings and emotions that directly affect the construction of knowledge in the classroom, influencing students' relationships with the content, with the school, with teachers, and with themselves. The analysis demonstrated that the quality of teaching mediation evokes emotional experiences that shape the way in which the school environment influences the cognitive development of students. Although teachers recognize the importance of emotions in the learning process, most reported not having received a systematic approach to the topic during their initial or continuing education. This gap reinforces the need for training and continuing education programs that integrate the emotional dimension as a fundamental part of pedagogical practice, enhancing students’ cognitive and emotional development.Item Mecanismos de promoção da permanência e da conclusão com êxito na educação de jovens e adultos: proposta de catálogo de ações no Instituto Federal de Alagoas(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-09-12) Peixoto, Silvana Kelly Coimbra; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; Barros, Abdizia Maria Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8978186925444582The study set out to investigate the mechanisms for promoting the permanence and successful completion of students in Youth and Adult Education integrated with Professional and Technological Education (EJA/EPT) at the Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) as a pedagogical process of knowledge, belonging and the development of students' autonomy, in order to encourage their participation in teaching, research and extension activities. The objective is to understand how the mechanisms for promoting permanence and successful completion affect the learning processes of students in Youth and Adult Education Integrated with Professional and Technological Education at the Federal Institute of Alagoas. The specific objectives are to identify, by listening to the various voices involved in the research, whether there is any form of denial/exclusion of EJA/EPT students in the student assistance policy and in teaching, research and extension actions; to analyze the knowledge that EJA/EPT students have about the mechanisms for promoting permanence and successful completion; verify the existence of teaching practices that promote the interest and participation of EJA/EPT students in teaching, research and extension actions; produce a catalog to disseminate actions to promote the permanence and successful completion of EJA-EPT students and, apply and evaluate the educational product — catalog. This study presents a catalog that provides EJA/EPT students with an educational product that, in addition to arousing interest, presents the paths and brings them closer to teaching, research and extension actions. This is a qualitative investigation, using participatory action research as a methodological perspective, whose data collection instruments were a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Content analysis was used to analyze the data collected. Students and teachers from the EJA/EPT and Administrative Technician took part in the research, with the Marechal Deodoro Campus school space as the locus in the Integrated High School Technical Course for Youth and Adult Education in Accommodation and the Integrated High School Technical Course for Youth and Adult Education in Cookery. The conclusion is that the objectives of the research have been achieved, in that the mechanisms for promoting permanence and success are essential for the learning of EJA/EPT students to take place, and the Educational Product as a means of publicizing and arousing interest in participating in actions for permanence and success.Item Nas trilhas da inclusão: contribuições dos Técnicos Administrativos em Educação(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2021-10-13) Alves, Hérlei Mariano Martins; Gomes, Jarbas MaurícioItem Valorização dos conhecimentos tradicionais sobre plantas medicinais no curso técnico em enfermagem(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-06-28) Santos, Pablo Rodrigo Moura; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4687-0645; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6019670165528345; Gomes, Jarbas Maurício; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8734-4727; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Santos, Jakeline Maria dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3544536932727932The present work aimed to discuss the use of a medicinal plant bed as a teaching space and as a teaching resource for Technical Nursing Courses. Addressing the importance of the topic from a perspective encouraged by the national legislation itself and also by the use of these plants in a popular context, we sought to combine science with culture, categories that are inseparable from human training in Professional and Technological Education. Through the structuring of a teaching site, it was also intended to reflect on notable and important values for our days, such as: sustainability, biodiversity, social inclusion, health care and appreciation of popular knowledge in the academic world. To this end, the study was assumed to be an action research and, through a quantitative-qualitative approach with a collaborative bias, the perception of teachers and students of the Subsequent Technical Course in Nursing at IFAL – Campus Benedito Bentes on the importance of medicinal plants was investigated, as well as holding workshops for the construction of a teaching site, so that all efforts conspired to further promote reflection on the subject. The data obtained was processed and subjected to content analysis and, in the end, it was compiled and an electronic booklet was developed, as an educational product, for use in the maintenance of the new educational space, as well as for those who wish to build educational plant beds. medicinal. It was found that the research results achieved their proposed objectives, contributing to the provision of a new formal education space for the Campus, enabling the combination of cultural values with the scientific application of medicinal plants.
