Item A imagem do sujeito homossexual na impresa dos anos 1970-1980: o caso Lampião da Esquina(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2020-06-20) Farias, José Sebastião de; Silva, Aguimario Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2370040993060322The work aims to analyze the image of homosexual subject in the Brazilian gay press, from the newspaper Lampião da Esquina, which circulated from 1978 to 1981. The study, affiliated with French Discourse Analysis, adopts the thinking of authors like Pêcheux (2008, 2014, 2015), Orlandi (2012), Trevisan (2004), among others. We seek to understand the roles imposed on homosexuals by the society, marked by heteronormativity, repression and authoritarian discourses. Lampião acted as a “counterdiscourse”, using elements that denounced the conditions of period. Thus, it sought to remove gays from marginalized spaces, giving new meaning to discourses and proposing new meanings.Item Entre o estético e o político: reflexões sobre o caráter contra-hegemônico da poesia slam(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-03-31) Araujo, Laura Emilia; Silva, Aguimario Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2370040993060322In recent years, slam poetry has reached a growing space in Brazil as a modality of literary production. Deeply connected to the sociocultural reality of peripheral and historically subordinated groups, it presents itself, above all, as a form of resistance. This work intends, from the field of Cultural Studies, mainly through the studies of coloniality, to highlight slam poetry as a cultural practice with a non hegemonic character, based on Mignolo (2008), as a form of “epistemic disobedience”. The discussion is also undertaken based on authors such as Glissant (2005), Curiel (2020), Hall (2006), Evaristo (2019), among others. To start the debate, some texts from the collection Querem nos calar: poemas para serem lidos em voz alta (2019), organized by the poet Mel Duarte and composed of texts by different women slammers. It is verified that slam poetry acquires its non hegemonic character as an intersection of aesthetic and political factors, placing itself as resistance in relation to historically legitimized discourses.Item O discurso publicitário e o imaginário em torno dos grandes astros do futebol(INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS - Ifal, 2025-09-06) Almeida, Jefferson Gustavo Oliveira de; Silva, Aguimário Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2370040993060322; Silva, Aguimário Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2370040993060322; Silva, Danillo da Conceição Pereira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6370328770730957; Teixeira, Ivana Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9981973307285649This research aims to explore and analyze advertisements on internet channels, in addition to social networks, which use ideological and imagery aspects of speeches through the figure of great football players, in order to associate their images (players recognized for their trajectory and fame in the sporting world) with brands from large sports multinationals. The aim is to observe the image of great idols such as Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, their relationship of “trust” in the imagination of the potential consumer public, and the relationship that the advertisement provokes in the desire to consume sports products, as well as the false sensation that every boy can reach the successful status of the “stars” of advertising, in the study analyzed, the great football players, within this system as unequal as capitalism. In this article, it is necessary to reflect on discursive theory, relating concepts and characteristics relevant to the selected advertisements; observe how advertisements and the idea of the image concept are constructed before the public through the actors (players) and the discursive implications that the advertisement provokes; Associate the theories of communication, advertising and discourse analysis, and try to understand the relationship of these theories in the symbolic field.Item Representações do feminismo no discurso religioso: constituições e atravessamentos(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2023-05-22) Goulart, Maria Grazielle; Silva, Aguimario Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2370040993060322; Souza, Carlos Alexsandro de Carvalho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9543720469592160; Teixeira, Ivana Siqueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9981973307285649Due to the growing discussions about the feminist movement, involved, since its conception, in questions arising from religious institutions, as well as about the social roles of women, this research deals with the observation and analysis of the representation constituted about these themes by the Catholic Church, seen its hegemony as an institution of social regulation, as well as the discursive crossings that support it. For this, three videos were selected on the Catholic website Padre Paulo Ricardo, given their popularity and relevance among the Catholic world. The videos were listed based on the search for the words “feminism” and “woman” on the site in question and were divided into excerpts, which were transcribed and analyzed with support from conversation analysis studies. In order to understand the construction of the observed representations, it was essential to base oneself on representation studies, mainly through the authors Serve Moscovici and Stuart Hall, with emphasis on the latter, given his concept of stereotyping. So, the general objective of this work is to analyze the representations constituted by the Catholic Church about feminism and about women and their social roles, observing the discursive crossings that underlie this constitution, and compare them to the feminist representations about the movement itself and about the women. In comparison with the representations of the topics presented by other sources, consonant with feminism, it was verified that the representation of the Church on feminism and on social roles is crossed by political and scientific discourses in addition to the religious one, and also that it is highly stereotyped, conceiving as natural functions that are sociocultural, thus regulating female bodies and lives, while exposing them to concrete dangers.
