Given the growing importance of these establishments in the daily lives of Brazilians, interior design emerges as a strategic tool for making these spaces more functional, attractive, and aligned with users' needs. The goal is to propose solutions that ensure comfort, accessibility, and cultural identity, promoting improvements in flow and the shopping experience. To this end, applied, exploratory, and qualitative research was adopted, grounded in the theoretical and practical stages of the interior design process. Specific objectives include investigating the sociocultural context of the local community, analyzing design references in commercial spaces, identifying functional, aesthetic, and ergonomic needs, and developing a preliminary proposal that combines spatial efficiency and enhancing the user experience.Item Sentir, perceber e compreender: inserção sensorial aplicada às técnicas do feng shui e sua relevância na criação de uma sala de estar(2025-03-19) Rodrigues , Márcia Roberta da Silva; Silva, Denise Lages Vieira da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1756842674232245; Lira, Iolita Marques de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1659875045337834; Cavalcante , Miquelina Rodrigues Castro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2940146787639880This work explores the energetic influences of Feng Shui on interior design, focusing on the conception of an interior project. Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese practice, seeks to achieve energetic balance through the strategic protection of the elements in the environment, using the baguá methodology and the analysis of the flow of vital energy, or “chi”. The principles of Feng Shui involve using the cores, shapes and the five elements of nature to unblock stagnant energy and promote the circulation of positive energy. This study intends to apply these design techniques to a preliminary project for a living room in the Barro Vermelho neighborhood in Marechal Deodoro, Alagoas. Research has evaluated how Feng Shui can improve the environment, providing an energetic balance that contributes to the quality of life of users. Furthermore, the work aims to stimulate reflection and debate on the application of Feng Shui in Interior Design, given the lack of scientific studies that address this topic.
