The main objective of this project is to develop furniture for children using the artisanal technique of crochet. Crochet is a rich craft that has been increasingly valued in the design field. The development stages were organized into two phases: I) Theoretical framework: where we sought to learn about the world of crochet and furniture design for children; and II) Design development: with phases that focus on developing furniture for use in a residential environment. To this end, we observed mastery of color use, ergonomics, and especially safety. At the end of the project, in addition to detailing the design, a prototype was built to verify the product's usability and formal configuration.
