Item Decolonialidades e ensino de espanhol: uma pesquisa-ação colaborativa na Educação Profissional e Tecnológica(2023) Santos, Gustavo Correia dos ; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Lima, André Suêldo Tavares de; Meniconi, Flávia Colen; Lima, Jeylla Salomé Barbosa dos SantosThis research, developed within the scope of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal), has as its main objective to identify how the practices of Spanish language teachers at Ifal take place - whether they are guided by a colonial perspective, by a decolonial or even a mixed perspective – in addition to understanding the fundamentals of this process. In order to do so, we analyzed how issues related to Latin American languages, cultures and identities are presented in a natural and real context: the classroom (MATOS, 2018, 2019, 2020). The investigative study is qualitative and its theoretical framework is anchored in studies concerning collaborative action research (PIMENTA, 2007; IBIAPINA, 2008) and the different action research modalities (TRIPP, 2005; THIOLLENT, 2011), whose methodological instruments are: i) application of questionnaires, ii) conducting interviews, iii) production of autobiographical narratives. The research results aim to contribute to an omnilateral (RAMOS, 2008; FRIGOTTO, 2009; MOURA 2013; CIAVATTA, 2014) and decolonial (FREIRE, 1987; CANDAU, 2016; MIGNOLO, 2008; QUIJANO, 2000) training ; CASTRO-GÓMEZ and GROSFOGUEL, 2007; MALDONADO-TORRES, 2007; WALSH, 2009) of Spanish Language teachers based on the association between the dimensions of work, science and culture in the training process from the Educational Product (PE) that had as objective the offer of a Colloquium, in which the participation of Spanish Language teachers at Ifal took place on a voluntary basis. The Event subsidized the production of a Portfolio, containing all the steps taken for its elaboration, which is part of the NP elaboration process. As a result, we found that the teaching practice of the Spanish Language curricular component occurs in a mixed way, that is, sometimes colonially and sometimes decolonially. This is due, in large part, to the initial training of the teachers involved in this investigative process. In addition, with regard to the concepts of language, culture and Latin American identities, there is a consensus among teachers in stating that language and culture are inseparable, so that it is not possible to teach a language without passing through the culture of the people who speaks that language, since both, according to the teachers, are the mark of a people. In short, despite this teaching practice, at times, being colonial, which justifies the educational product of this dissertation, it should be noted that the investigated public recognizes that from a decolonial education it is possible to transform the pattern of power relations, knowing and being.Item Desenvolvimento de sequência didática como produto educacional: os temas HIV e AIDS em módulos de aprendizagem(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2020-08-28) Santos, Deyvison Campos dos; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955This Dissertation is from a research that contemplates the development and evaluation process of the Educational Product (PE) “Didactic Sequence: proposal to approach the themes HIV and AIDS in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety”. The general objective of the study was to develop a Didactic Sequence (DS) to approach the themes HIV and AIDS in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the educational practice aimed at professional qualification and preparation for the exercise of citizenship. The research has a qualitative approach and the study method is that of collaborative action research. The research instruments used were subject questionnaires, satisfaction questionnaires and reflective diaries. The developed DS was assessed using descriptive aspectos by teachers of a subsequent technical course of secondary level in Work Safety. The investigative question that guides the work is "how do teachers of a subsequent high school technical course in Work Safety evaluate a proposal for approaching the issues of HIV and AIDS aimed at the production of didactic and pedagogical materials by the technicians in training?". The results are the positive judgment of the DS by the collaborator-evaluators, and there were also points evaluated in a neutral way by one of the evaluators, among the twenty items / aspects of the material, and no item / aspect was negatively evaluated. The participation of teachers in the appreciation and evaluation process of DS was shown as a contribution to the professional development of teachers. As a conclusion, it is understood that the developed SD is configured as a tool to address the themes HIV and AIDS, in technical courses of medium level in Work Safety with a view to the development of professional skills and the construction of knowledge necessary to citizenship exercise. Other conclusions from the research are: i) teaching in Vocational and Technological Education is conditioned by political issues and different theoretical perspectives; ii) the Federal Institutes propose to train the subjects in full, motivating the performance of teachers and their pedagogical practices in line with the principles of omnilaterality; iii) the development of a EP, within the scope of teacher training, must be provided to meet the specificities of VTE in the Federal Education Network by teachers of the EBTT career.Item Documentário vida e formação: autobiografias educativas de estudantes concluintes do ensino médio integrado do Ifal- Campus Maceió(2025) Santos, Lídia Maria da Silva; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Castilho, Fábio Francisco de Almeida; Santos, Lúcia de FátimaThis dissertation presents the results of a master's degree research project within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the Educational Practices in EPT Line, with the objective of establishing, through the production of a documentary, relationships between the curriculum, the world of work and the life projects of students of Integrated High School of the Federal Network of Professional and Technological Education, in order to contribute to the integral formation, resulting in critical and reflective citizens in the face of the reality experienced, capable of “linguistically achieving specific objectives in particular social situations” (Marcuschi, 2010, p. 31). To this end, we developed a didactic sequence (Zabala, 2010; Schneuwly and Dolz, 2004) whose objective was the production of Educational Autobiographies (Josso, 2014), since biographical narratives contribute to the understanding of the processes of formation, knowledge and learning. The methodology adopted is qualitative, following the action research method, based on Thiollent (2011), Ibiapina (2008), Pimenta (2005). The research site was the Instituto Federal de Alagoas – Campus Maceió. The participants were students from a third-year class of the Electronics Technical Course Integrated into High School and the respective teacher in charge of the class, in addition to teachers who teach the Portuguese Language component in the integrated high school, who participated as evaluators of the Educational Product developed through the research. The data collection and production instruments used were: characterization and evaluation questionnaires, notes and field diaries; text productions made by the students during the research, in addition to audio and video recordings. These data were analyzed through the autobiographical method, in addition to categories that were accessed based on studies of Applied Linguistics. The Educational Autobiographies of the participating students generally present their educational path from their entry into Ifal - Maceió Campus until the moment they produced their narratives and revealed issues related to the following categories: 1) Diversity of experiences lived throughout the ongoing education; 2) Challenges of the school transition between elementary and high school integrated with professional and technological training; 3) The influence of the family as a determining factor for academic and professional success; 4) Personal maturity; 5) School as the path to a better future. Some participants also presented, in their Educational Autobiographies, signs of transformation, called pivotal moments (Josso, 2014), which stand out for marking significant ruptures and transformations in the personal, academic and/or professional trajectories of the participants. The result was the creation of the Documentary “Life and Training”, an Educational Product from the perspective of the Educational Practices line, with the aim of contributing to the integration of Portuguese language teaching and training for the world of work, in order to contribute to the integral human development of high school students.Item Letramento literário no Ensino Médio Integrado:o portfolio de círculos de leitura na biblioteca escolar(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2024-03-22) Ferraz, Edileuza Lima; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Gomes, Jarbas Mauricio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6712481495574847; Santos, Lúcia de FátimaThis dissertation, developed within the scope of ProfEPT, in the Educational Practices Research Line in EPT, describes the result of research carried out at the Maceió Campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal), specifically at the Benevides Monte Library, with female students, from third grade of Integrated High School (EMI), whose general objective is to promote actions to encourage literary reading, through reading circles and to gather the impressions of these moments in the elaboration of the Portfolio Educational Product, taking into account reading and analysis from the work “The Hour of the Star”, by Clarice Lispector. We draw on the contributions of Cândido (2011), Cavalcanti et al. (2020), Colomer (2003), Cosson (2006, 2014, 2020), Cruz (2021), Freire (1989, 2014), Lajolo; Zilberman (2019), Moreira (2006, 2019), Oliveira (2022), Soares (2009), Tonet (2020) and Zilberman (2015), among others. The methodology was qualitative action research, based on Barbier (2002), Gibbs (2009) and Thiollent (1986). The following procedures were adopted: i) reading diagnosis of the participating students through profile questionnaires; circle evaluation questionnaire; and iii) carrying out reading circles, in which aspects of the work were discussed and we collected information to answer our research question and develop our Educational Product, entitled: Portfolio of reading circles in the library. The research results reveal to us the need for investigative actions with such a perspective in order to promote the development of literary literacy practices, specifically, of female students in the interrelationship with approaches focused on the world of work and the female universe in a context formal education belonging to the Federal Education Network.Item O papel do/a pedagogo/a no processo de planejamento curricular integrado na rede federal de ensino(2024) Lima, Jeorge Venancio Santos de; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; Souza, Laura Cristiane deThis research was developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT/Ifal), whose objective was to reflect, based on the role of the pedagogue of the Federal Education Network, on training processes that enhance the integrated curriculum among teachers of general training and professional training in the aforementioned Network, specifically, at the Satuba Campus of the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal). The theoretical framework was based on the contributions of Araújo and Frigotto (2005), Franco (2016), Freire (2020), Libâneo (2010), Pinto (2011), Ramos (2017), Sacristán (2000), Silva (2010) and Vasconcellos (2000). The study is investigative and qualitative in nature with a theoretical framework anchored in studies concerning collaborative action research whose methodological instruments were: i) application of diagnostic questionnaires; and ii) conducting an interview. With the data that would be collected in the research, we present an Educational Product called the "Pedagogue’s (self) Reflective Notebook", with the aim of providing theoretical-practical and methodological subsidies for the pedagogue’s performance in the process of discussing the integrated teaching curriculum secondary education integrated into the Federal Education Network, with Work, Science, Culture and Technology as its central axes.Item A promoção da acessibilidade na educação profissional e tecnológica: reflexões sobre cultura surda e libras por meio da oferta de um minicurso a estudantes do ensino médio integrado(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2021-12-14) Carvalho, Ermans Quintela; Cavalcanti, Ricardo Jorge de Sousa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2706881213553955; Fiori, Ana Paula Santos de Melo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2598153346850335; Silva, Jair Barbosa da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8654129558132481This research investigates how a proposal for teaching Libras for high school students integrated with Professional Course, from Campus Maceió of Ifal, promotes the inclusion of deaf people. The Educational Product (PE) Guide for Access to the Mini-course “Inclusion, Deaf Culture and Notions of Libras in Ifal” includes the teaching of terms that aim to introduce the studies of Libras, theoretical and legal knowledge about identity, culture and educational specificities of the deaf, as well as concepts of inclusion at Ifal and in Professional and Technological Education (EPT, in Brazil). The purpose of the EP is to favor interactional practices, as well as to reduce communicational and stigmatizing barriers through an inclusive, transformative and libertarian pedagogy. Furthermore, the study proposes to indicate strategies to overcome limitations regarding the inclusion of deaf people in the Ifal school environment. The main objective of the research is to problematize the accessibility of the deaf student with a view to inclusion, using a proposal for teaching Libras and cultural, linguistic, legalit and educational aspects of deaf communities to students from Campus Maceió do Ifal. The investigation has a qualitative approach, using the action research method, with the insertion of the researcher in the remote space of the classroom, with the collaboration of hearing and deaf students, Libras teachers, Libras translators and interpreters and Portuguese Language (TILSP), in addition to the multidisciplinary team of NAPNE. The research instruments include the application of semi-structured questionnaires and classroom observation, whose results are used in two moments. Firstly, in the conception of the Mini-Course and, later, for the elaboration of the Guide for Access to the Mini-Course. The research results indicate the need to propose teaching strategies for learning Libras in an integral way in a critical-emancipatory perspective. The EP will be used by students, especially Ifal, as this teaching proposal has a central theme in the inclusion of deaf people in EPT.
