This work aims to develop a preliminary design for the kitchen and service area of a Social Housing, seeking to meet the needs and desires of the user, ensuring comfort and functionality within the space restrictions. To this end, an applied, exploratory and qualitative research approach was adopted, combined with the interior design project methodology and its stages, divided into theoretical and practical. Through this methodology, it is possible to generate layout and material selection strategies, which will allow the construction of a comfortable and economically accessible kitchen project.
