Item Educação financeira nos anos finais do ensino fundamental: um guia didático(Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Alagoas, 2022-12-08) Coelho, Elis Lima; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Brasileiro, Regina Maria de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4146119273576569; Henriques, Lucas De Stefano Meira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3599382596501988Financial education is internationally considered a vital part of the basic education of citizens able to fulfill their rights and duties in society. National indicators point to gaps in the training of Brazilian citizens regarding their financial literacy, whilst international bodies point out that the economic health of a country is associated with the level of financial education of its population. However, the presence of this topic in the National Common Curricular Base as a suggested content is slim. The present work seeks to link contents already covered in the Mathematics curriculum of the final years of elementary school to themes of financial education. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out on financial education and the production of educational products. Finally, there was the construction of a teaching guide containing four formative tracks that deal with themes already present in the mathematics curriculum using financial education as a scenario for the activities.Item Entre cartas e cálculos : a adaptação do jogo yu gi oh! no ensino de educação financeira(2025-07-09) Menezes, Rodrigo Cardoso; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Silva, Ewerton Roosewelt Bernardo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8543155357044958; Melo, Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700This qualitative research, designed as a case study with elements of participatory research, aimed to understand the perceptions of 8th-grade students regarding the use of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game as a pedagogical tool in Mathematics classes, with a focus on Financial Education. Seeking to explore the potential of strategy games in the teaching-learning process, the intervention was carried out in three stages with a group of 10 students from a municipal school located in São Luís do Quitunde, Brazil. Data collection involved a questionnaire with eight questions, developed using Google Forms, and the researcher's field diary. The results indicated a high level of student engagement and a satisfactory adaptation to the mathematical calculations involved, despite specific difficulties, such as subtraction with regrouping. Students also demonstrated a good understanding of the financial concepts addressed in the game, such as markups, discounts, and interest. They expressed satisfaction with the experience and emphasized the importance of having more time with the game materials to deepen their strategic thinking. It is concluded that the use of games can facilitate the learning of mathematical and financial content, while also promoting more engaging and meaningful moments in the context of Financial Education.Item Minecraft para o ensino da matemática na educação básica: mapeando dissertações e teses (2014-2023)(2024-12-09) Peixoto, Stheffanie Louise Oliveira; Castro, Diogo Meurer de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6863749871487154; Oliveira, Carloney Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9900433024242592; Melo , Enaldo Vieira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1041528154664700This Course Completion Work (TCC) aims to analyze what has been published in theses and dissertations nationally regarding the use of Minecraft as a technological artifact in the learning process of Mathematics, focusing on students from elementary and high school, from 2014 to 2024. The specific objectives are: to map dissertations and theses that discuss the use of Minecraft in basic education; to identify the content that has been worked on with Minecraft in the classroom context; and to verify which learning theories have been associated with the dissertations and theses published between 2014 and 2023. To achieve this, a qualitative research with a bibliographic mapping approach was conducted, selecting theses and dissertations through the databases of the CAPES Thesis and Dissertation Bank and the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). The searches, carried out on October 1st and 2nd, 2024, utilized the search string "Minecraft." Inclusion and exclusion criteria were established to ensure that the selected works were relevant to Mathematics, basic education, and the use of Minecraft in the educational context. The selection process was divided into two stages: in the first, exclusion criteria were applied based on titles and abstracts; in the second, complete texts were analyzed to verify their adherence to the research scope. The six analyzed studies, all focused on Elementary School 2, addressed content related to geometry and proportionality, highlighting challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, lack of teacher expertise, and limitations of the game's creative mode. However, positive aspects were also noted, such as the promotion of a collaborative environment and increased student interest. The results indicate that Minecraft has the potential to enhance Mathematics teaching, provided it is associated with ongoing teacher training and innovative pedagogical practices.
