    A inserção da educação ambiental no ensino de química: uma revisão bibliográfica

    This study addresses the importance of Environmental Education (EE) in Chemistry classes. Its general objective was to understand how Environmental Education has been incorporated into Chemistry teaching and, specifically, to identify the methodologies used to integrate EE and the most common scientific Chemistry contents addressed in connection with EE. To this end, a bibliographic survey was conducted in Qualis A journals in the field of Chemistry Education, according to CAPES classification, covering the period from 2020 to 2024. The studies were analyzed separately based on Bardin’s (2016) content analysis approach. The results indicated that Environmental Education can be integrated in different ways. The methodologies identified in the analyzed studies included expository and dialogical lectures, demonstrative experimentation, problem-based experimentation, contextualized exercises, games, seminars, research activities, questionnaires, and educational software. These findings demonstrate the diversity of approaches available to incorporate Environmental Education into Chemistry classes while still addressing curricular content.
