In the Interior Design course “there is no greater reference to indigenous plastic manifestations”. In this sense, the objective of this work is to contribute to the theme of ethnodesign through the development of the product project for the valorization of indigenous culture in the context of Interior Design. To this end, stages were initially carried out, the first stage consisting of bibliographic research on indigenous culture, ethnodesign, object gestalt and product design. Then, the design stage was carried out. Finally, the work aims to contribute to reflection on the use of geometric shapes, technological resources (materials used for construction) and non-verbal language (figures and graphics) of indigenous artifacts that assume the decorative and functional value of our daily lives and translate into a lamp a little of the symbolic and plastic richness of this art.
