Additionally, these approaches promote the development of cognitive and socioemotional skills. In the research at hand, a qualitative and quantitative method was adopted through an online questionnaire, aimed at former students of the technical course in agriculture at IFAL Campus Satuba. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the methodologies employed in the Vocational High School at IFAL - Campus Satuba, and identify which teaching-learning approaches played an active role in the development of the former students. Given this context, the research results revealed little diversity of active methods in the technical course in agriculture, with seminars and practical field lessons being the majority, restricting students' development to other forms of learning. Thus, it emphasizes the need to incorporate different active methodologies to enrich the education of the students and broaden their educational perspectives.
