The internship report describes the history of the Federal Institutes and the functions of the chemistry technician in the laboratories of the Federal Institute of Alagoas - Campus Penedo. Through the activities carried out during the internship, it was possible to observe the importance of a technician within the Institute's laboratory, which activities are developed by him, in addition to practicing all the knowledge acquired in classes.
