National indicators point to gaps in the training of Brazilian citizens regarding their financial literacy, whilst international bodies point out that the economic health of a country is associated with the level of financial education of its population. However, the presence of this topic in the National Common Curricular Base as a suggested content is slim. The present work seeks to link contents already covered in the Mathematics curriculum of the final years of elementary school to themes of financial education. For this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out on financial education and the production of educational products.
