The research was conducted through the analysis of scientific articles available in the SciELO, LILACS, and CAPES databases, published between 2013 and 2024. The results show that stress is a multifactorial phenomenon, intensified by academic demands, work overload, and lack of institutional support. Among the observed consequences are physiological changes, such as increased cortisol levels, sleep disorders, and chronic fatigue, in addition to psychological effects such as anxiety, depression, and burnout syndrome. It is concluded that occupational stress represents a significant risk factor to the health and professional development of interns, emphasizing the need for institutional policies aimed at promoting mental health and preventing emotional exhaustion during internships.ptAttribution-ShareAlike 3.0 BrazilCiências BiológicasEstágios - Estresse ocupacionalSaúde mentalHomeostaseOccupational stressMental healthHomeostasisEstresse ocupacional em estagiários: uma revisão sistemática sobre os impactos biológicos e laboraisTrabalho de Conclusão de CursoCIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS
