The objective of this work is to understand the industrial revolutions and to know their characteristics associated with the globalization of the economy and to analyze the reflexes of these changes in the environmental and social areas. scientific and video in which the interviewee Milton Santos in his studies, brings valuable contributions about globalization. In addition to a literature review, a survey of the consequences of the socioeconomic and environmental impacts resulting from the themes addressed was carried out. As a result, the characterizations of each industrial revolution were presented with an approach to the Globalization of Industry 4.0 and the environmental and social consequences.
