The research focuses on the implementation of a space dedicated to employee well-being in a public agency in the municipality of Minador do Negrão, Alagoas, analyzing the short- and long-term impacts of this initiative. To achieve this, it combines a theoretical approach, based on OWP concepts, with an empirical investigation through an opinion survey conducted with active employees between December 2024 and February 2025. The study aims to understand how organizational support and strategies focused on quality of life at work affect employee motivation, productivity, and professional development, fostering a healthier and more efficient work environment. In addition to contributing to the academic field by expanding the understanding of OWP’s role in the public sector, the article provides practical recommendations for improving working conditions and people management in public institutions.
