The aim is to emphasize the responsibility of the interior designer in this valorization process and the need for the designer and artisan to work together, resulting in contextualized pieces and projects that consider Alagoas handicraft and culture, especially in the city of Marechal Deodoro-AL. In this sense, the main objective of this work is to elaborate an Interior Design project at the preliminary study level of a hotel room located in Praia do Frances. For this purpose, the inspiration was the simple income, recognized as Historical Heritage of Alagoas in 2006, for the elaboration of the interior design project of the room, seeking new possibilities of use for the income, as it is falling into disuse.
