The qualitative research consisted of a case study with four medium and large-sized construction companies, using semi-structured interviews with managers, analyzed through Bardin's Content Analysis technique. The theoretical framework is based on the PDCA Cycle, Lean Construction, ISO 9001, and PBQP-H. The results demonstrate unanimously that maintaining the quality management system is more difficult than implementing it, and that there are operational barriers due to workforce resistance. However, it significantly reduces operational costs, waste, and the need for post-delivery technical assistance. Furthermore, it requires a strong commitment from top management, continuous on-site training, and, primarily, the transition from physical documentary bureaucracy to digital cloud computing systems.ptAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 BrazilConstrução civil – Gestão da qualidadeLean ConstructionISO 9001PBQP-HCivil constructionCuality managementLean constructionOs impactos da gestão da qualidade na construção civil e seus métodos de implantaçãoTrabalho de Conclusão de CursoENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVIL
