In the context of Integrated High School, it also explains the reasons and the fundamentals of the importance of social control in the management of public money and in the exercise of citizenship. It also describes and analyzes the instruments that enable any citizen to participate, monitor and inspect the acts practiced by the public administration, especially within the sphere of the Federal Institute of Alagoas. It is guided by a qualitative methodology, in which certain practices of the researched students were investigated, through the application of questionnaires, in order to analyze the level of knowledge of these students on the subject of social control. It also has an educational product, in the format of an educational booklet, to disseminate the exercise of social control. It concludes that it is necessary to develop actions in the school space that promote the control of acts practiced by public managers.
