2023-05-262023-05-262023-05-262023-06-17https://repositorio.ifal.edu.br/handle/123456789/201This article aims to discuss a specific moment in the historical formation of tourism development in the municipality of Marechal Deodoro, located 30 kilometers from Maceió, Capital of Alagoas. Therefore, in this research, we sought to understand the contributions of Summer Festivals to the development of tourist activity in the city of Odor, tracing milestones of government public policies that took place in the 1970s. literature review and an interview with one of the organizers of the event, with the intention of reconstructing the paths taken by the events related to Tourism in the municipality during the period studied.
