This work aimed to develop a theoretical review research on the subject and the studies indicate efforts to minimize consumption and the effects of the impacts generated. It is also observed the development of machines and methods that help to achieve this goal. An exemplary case is the CDW (Residues of Construction and Demolition) concrete block, made basically from construction rubble, sand, water and cement. Materials of this type reduce waste, increase production and bring together beauty and durability. The study on the block indicates advantages and disadvantages from manufacture to use, but highlights economic viability. The research identified the economic and environmental returns that recycling solid waste from civil construction makes possible for all sectors of this process. Finally, the study found that the recycling of rubble or CSW (Solid Construction Waste) also contributes to preserve nature and reduce expenses. To develop this work, the methodology included identifying and analysing scientific papers available in institutional repositories that address the theme. It was highlighted in the study the case of concrete blocks with the use of CDW and materials from the CSW.Acesso AbertoConstrução de EdifíciosConstrução Civil - ResíduosResíduos sólidos - Reciclagem3.Bloco de concreto - Resíduos de Construção e DemoliçãoConcrete blocksRCD (CDW)Nature Preservation and Cost ReductionA utilização de resíduos sólidos processados da construção civil como forma de diminuir o impacto ambiental e reduzir custos: uma revisão bibliográficaTrabalho de Conclusão de CursoCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA CIVIL::CONSTRUCAO CIVIL::CONSTRUÇÃO DE EDIFÍCIOS
