2023-06-212023-06-212023-06-212022-06-28https://repositorio.ifal.edu.br/handle/123456789/227This work deals with a critical analysis about the learning of the free fall of bodies content by high school students, from a public school in State of Alagoas. We base our discussion on the learning the free fall content, based on the historical aspects of the entire process of construction and development of this knowledge until our current understanding of this phenomenon. Furthermore, we associate this discussion with the Physics component teaching-learning process and its role as a common sense oponente which is still present in today's society, as well as we point to the difficulties in the success of this process through distance learning, during this period of social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out with students from the 2nd grade of High School (EM), at the Tiradentes State School of the Maceió’s Military Police in the state of Alagoas. In the methodological approach, we used case and field research, an exploratory study, in the area of Exact and Earth Sciences. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire applied to students and we performed a statistical treatment for data interpretation.
