2025-02-132025-02-132024-11-16https://repositorio.ifal.edu.br/handle/123456789/850Environmental education plays a very important role in facing the crisis in which we live, it radicalizes changes in values, behaviors, feelings and attitudes, which must be carried out among human beings. The present work aims to carry out an analysis of the insertion of environmental education in a state public school in Palmeira dos Índios – AL. The results found indicate that the school analyzed has carried out environmental projects with environmental education practices, thus assuming its social and educational commitment to students. Despite this, it is concluded that the school studied does not have specific regulations that define environmental education as a mandatory part of the curriculum component.
